Hellllooooo!

It's time, once again, to continue the SOKEEFE! Someone requested me to make a Sokeeefe scene where Fitz interrupts them kissing, (I can smell the drama from all the way over here!) and I was happy to say, yes I love that idea! I bolded all the scents in the book to make it easier to see.

This is for you L'Oracle de Delphe!

Senses.

Sophie loved them.

She loved how they gave her access to the best part of her life. Well, more like the best person. That person was Keefe Sencen, the guy she was currently with at the moment.

She smiled to herself as she had these thoughts.

"Why so happy?" Keefe asked shifting on the couch they were on, to look at her. They were currently at Havenfield, while Grady and Edaline were on a mission from the council. Sophie wasn't that worried about it, because she knew it couldn't be that serious. Ever since the Neverseen had been defeated, Sophie had been more relaxed in general. She was still worried, but she never felt anxious or frightened.

At least, while she was awake.

Sophie still had nightmares sometimes about the final battle. It was a day that all elvin kind would remember, but Sophie remembered it a little too vividly due to her photographic memory and how close she was to it. It made her wonder why everyone didn't notice the dark circles under her eyes. Virtina almost had a heart attack when she saw the current state of Sophie's appearance. Then again, they were probably used to her looking like this…..

"Oh, no reason." She said in reply to Keefe's question.

"Really? There's not a single reason why you're happy right now?" He put his arm around her and she snuggled into him smiling.

"Not that I can think of," She teased.

"Well we'll have to change that." Keefe leaned in for a kiss.

Yep, senses really were the best. The gentle touch of Keefe's hand on her back, and the scent of faint cologne were the ones that stood out the most. Well, other than the gentle press of Keefe's lips to hers. She could hear his heart beating almost as fast as hers was.

As he leaned in a little more, she heard someone clear their throat.

LOUD.

They immediately sprang apart, not wanting to know what would happen if it was Grady. They hadn't told anyone they were dating. They decided to tell everyone when people weren't that focused on the battle with the Neverseen. Sophie couldn't even walk down the halls of Foxfire without being swarmed with a mob of people. If they figured out that Keefe and Sophie were dating, considering her current matchless status, it would be disastrous.

Sophie slowly looked up to see who had interrupted her.

Fitz.

Looking as uncomfortable as heck, his face showing too many emotions to fully decipher. Betrayal, sadness, jealousy, but most of all anger. So. Much. Anger.

"So, you guys are a thing now?" He practically spat.

Sophie felt bile rise in her stomach, as thousands thoughts raced through her mind.

They glanced at each other before saying, "Yes."

Fitz looked at the ground. "I have to go."

He left without another word.

"Shoot," Sophie said, "I have to go after him."

"I know," Keefe said, "I'll wait here."

"Fitz! Wait up! We need to talk!" Sophie had to jog to keep up with him.

"You already showed me everything I needed to know." He sped up.

Sophie stopped walking. "Fitz. Look at me."

Fitz reluctantly obeyed and turned to her.

"I thought since we weren't dating anymore this wouldn't bother you…"

"What did you think then?!" He said, "Sorry to break up with you Fitz, but I'm replacing you with your best friend because you weren't good enough. Is that it?"

Now it was Sophie's turn to feel angry.

"Well I thought that you would be happy for me, since the matchmaking thing was more important than me to you, and I found someone who loves me for myself. For you, I constantly worried that I wasn't good enough. But with Keefe I can be myself without worrying about stupid little things like that. I think you're just jealous that you can't have me. You have everything else in all the Elven World, but now you want me, and you can't have me. But guess what Fitz? I moved on!" Sophie stopped talking to catch a breath.

"I did love you Fitz. But you let me go, and now you have to deal with it." Sophie left Fitz standing there, in stunned silence, as she returned to Keefe.

Sophie felt adrenaline rush through her veins and her vision started to blur. She could hear her footsteps match Fitz's as they both walked away from each other. She could smell the scent of Fiz's cologne fade away as they became further and further apart. She felt her mouth taste dry as she tried to swallow.

Senses. They really were the best thing, at a good moment. But they could also be the worst thing at bad moments. But Sophie knew she would make more good ones, with Keefe by her side.

Yay! Another Sokeefe scene down! Hopefully lots more to go! Sorry for those people out there who are Fitzphie fans (If you're Fitzphie fans, why are you reading this :) JK I don't mind!) Again please leave a comment if you have any suggestions on future Sokeefe scenes, or feedback you want me to know.

Hope you liked this byeeeeee!
