When Yukina was kidnapped by Fiendish Gargoyle, Phoenix Flame has decided to bring the fight to them and forget what the Magical Council says. When they got there, Velvet had Maru and his team sneak their way in and rescue Yukina. However, inside Fiendish Gargoyle's best are it's four best wizards waiting for them.

"I'm pretty sure Yukina would be at the top of this thing. Let's break in there and get her out." Aster said.

"Sounds good to me." Gin said.

"Hold on for a second." Mary said. "Why don't we just have Sandy fly us up there? It would be a lot easier."

"No, it won't work." Maru said. "Sandy can only carry one person at a time. For all we know, all of their best wizards are at the top. It's less risky if we go in through here and work our way up." Mary was so not looking forward to this.

"Come on, Mary. Yukina needs us. Now is not the time to be scared." Sandy said. Mary knew he was right, but she certainly wasn't going to like this. Regardless, all of them hurried inside and made their way up the stairs.

'Don't worry, Yukina. We'll get you out of here.' Maru thought. All of them made their way up, but they weren't aware that a security lacrima was watching them.

...

Johnson

"So, it looks like some of your friends think they can sneak their way in." Johnson said with him watching a visual of them. "Well, I'm sure my four best wizards can handle them, and the first one will be Moola. I'm sorry it had to come to this, Yukina, but your friends are going to get what's coming to them." Yukina was worried now. She's hoping her friends make it out of here, but is she really worth all of this?

...

The Team

All of them made their way up the stairs knowing fully well that they'll have to fight their way out. They made their way through the building until they couldn't go any further. They all stopped when they saw a large door right before them.

"What's this?" Mary questioned.

"It's a door." Sandy said.

"I meant what's it doing here? What is it for? We couldn't have reached the top already." Mary said.

"No, but we were warned that Fiendish Gargoyle's four best wizards would have their own floor or room. This must be one of them." Aster said. "Be prepared for anything. Other than Phatar, we don't know anything about who we might be going up against." All of them readied themselves. They opened up the door and went inside, but it was just simply an empty room.

"Nothing?" Gin said. "That's a bit of a bummer. I thought we were going to see some action."

"Careful. There could be a trap." Aster said. They all entered the room, but it seemed like there wasn't anything waiting for them.

"Nothing is here. Can we just go on ahead?" Mary said.

"Yeah. It doesn't look like there's anything here." Maru said. All of them were going to go on ahead, but that was when the doors on the other side opened up and the enemy showed himself.

"Welcome to our home. You better say your prayers because you won't be leaving here at all." They were all met with an enemy, but it wasn't what they expected. The guy had a large fur coat with him wearing a white dress shirt and purple and peach striped pants. What's more is that he had ginger curly hair with glasses and even had a gold grill on his teeth with rings on his fingers. It didn't even look good. He looked more like those scrawny and goofy guys. "You just entered the room of Moola!" They were all a little dumbfounded at what they saw. They were expecting someone serious and scary, but not this. "I see you're speechless."

"Yeah because you look completely ridiculous!" Mary said.

"What?! What'ch you talking about?!" Moola said. "You clearly don't know who you are dealing with."

"Is this guy really one of their best?" Gin questioned.

"He looks so ridiculous that I feel sorry for him and don't want to fight." Maru said.

"Maybe that's their plan! Devious!" Sandy accused.

"Please. That stuff is clearly just him trying to make up for something small, if you catch my drift." Mary said as she stepped forward. "Okay, just get put of the way. Go on. Shoo."

"Woo! I didn't know a guild like yours had a smoking number like you!" Moola said.

"Are you not listening?! Get out of the way!" Gin said.

"Don't go stepping on my game!" Moola said with him using one of his rings. "Ring Magic: Barrier!" He projected a bubble from his ring and it cut off Mary from the boys. Aster smashed his fist against it, but his attack just bounced off it.

"A force field?" Sandy said.

"And a strong one." Aster said. "Foolish us. We underestimated our opponent based on appearance. He might look stupid, but he has some power."

"That's right. See that, sweetheart? I got the power." Moola said. "I've also got others that take orders from me. You see all the bling I'm blinging I'm quite the man."

"Are you trying to be a mafia? You're not even hot." Mary claimed.

"Well, you'll be changing your tune soon enough. My rings will have you saying you want to be my lady." Moola said.

"Maybe if you were actually handsome, but you look like a nerd cosplaying as a gangster." Mary said with annoyance. "In the old days, if you actually had money, this would have been so easy."

"Mary! Focus!" Aster called. "Don't underestimate him! He's much stronger than he looks! We can't get out of this barrier, so you'll have to fight him on your own."

"Seriously? I've got to fight alone now?" Mary complained. "Fine. I guess I don't really have much of a choice." She sucked it up and went with it. "Come forth, the the great huntress of the land! Earth!" She called upon Earth with her arriving.

"You summoned me?" Earth asked.

"Yeah. Just help me beat this dork." Mary said.

"Woo! You got some magic bling yourself?! You can summon smoking ladies yourself?! What I wouldn't give for my rings to do that." Moola said. "Any chance you ladies are going to get naughty together?"

"Now you're just sounding creepy! Shut him up already!" Mary ordered.

"As you wish." Earth said as she charged right at Moola and attacked with her sword ready.

"I love to play, but the big boss did say I've got to beat you." Moola said. "Ring Magic: Fireballs!" He held out one ring and shot fireballs at her. "Let's throw in some icicles!" He held out his other hand and shot shards of ice as well, but Earth used her sword and deflected both attacks.

"You'll have to do better than that." Earth said.

"Not a problem. Try this!" Moola said as he shot both fire and ice every time he threw a fist, but Earth used her sword and deflected each attack thrown at her.

"Consecutive attacks with different elements? I've got to admit, it's impressive he can do that." Gin said.

"Each one of those rings he's wearing is magic item with a different effect." Aster said. "There's no telling what each one can do."

"This guy might be a goofball or whatever, but it looks like he can actually back up all that talk." Maru said. Earth and Moola kept going the way they were, but Moola was getting tired and could see he was getting nowhere like this.

"Okay. That was pretty good, but I do love a woman that has some stamina." Moola claimed.

"Mary, do be careful. There's no telling what each of those rings can do." Earth advised.

"Give me a break. I'm suppose to be scared of someone's jewelry?" Mary said. "Besides, you handled those attacks rather well. What's the worst this freak can do? Just take him down already so that we can move on."

"As you wish." Earth said. She pressed on with the attack, but Moola wasn't worried.

"My rings don't do it for you? How about this one?!" Moola said as he held out another one of his rings. It fired a beam that hit Earth. However, it wasn't hurting Earth. What it did instead was put her to sleep. She dropped to the ground and was sound asleep.

"Earth! What are you doing?! Wake up!" Mary called.

"It's no good. She'll be sawing logs for quite a long time." Moola said. That isn't good. If Earth can't wake up, she can't help Mary.

"Begone!" Mary used the command and sent Earth back to where she came from.

"So, what do you think of my rings now? These babies helped me become the golden stud you see before you." Moola bragged.

"Golden stud? You've got to be kidding me. Now I know you're overcompensating for something." Mary said.

"Be careful, Mary! He's stronger than he looks, and those rings are clearly the source of his power!" Gin advised. Mary kept seeing Moola as something ridiculous, but the power he does have is real.

'I hate to admit it, but he's right. This guy might be a clown, but he does know what he's doing with those rings.' Mary thought.

"My rings allow me to do whatever I want. Let me give you an example." Moola said with Mary a little worried on what he might try now. "For example, I can make the unseen seen!" Mary didn't get that until Moola had one ring unleash a ray that was actually an x-ray. It made her clothes completely invisible.

"Hey! What the hell?!" Mary shouted as it looked like she was now just in her very appealing underwear. The guys certainly didn't know what to think from that, but tried not to look out of respect.

"Woo! Someone likes to be daring with their lingerie!" Moola said.

"Cut it out and make my clothes visible!" Mary shouted.

"I could see beyond the underwear if I wanted." Moola said.

"Don't you dare!" Mary shouted.

"Don't need to because I can save my magic by just doing this!" Moola called. "Ring Magic: Acid Splash!" One of his rings actually shot an acid-like substance. When Mary saw that, she tried to jump out of the way, but some of it did splash against her and she could feel it burning against her.

"AAAAWWWW!"

"Mary!" Maru shouted as the guys were worried now.

"Don't worry. She dodged it in time to avoid any serious burns, but her clothes are another story." Moola said. He was right. Pieces of Mary's clothes were starting to burn away. "Yeah! Put on a nice show for us!"

"You freak!" Mary growled. "That does it! Now you're getting it! Come forth, the one who rages with war! Mars!" She summoned out Mars, but he didn't look that happy about being called.

"A man? I was hoping for another busting beauty. I don't share women, they share me." Moola claimed.

"You summoned me to deal with this idiot?" Mars said.

"Go ahead and kill him if you want." Mary said.

"Oh please. I'll just put this moron to sleep and..." Moola didn't get the chance todo anything. Before he knew it? Mars grabbed his hand and was crushing it.

"Did you just call ME a moron?" Mars said with a dark and angry face. A face that would send shivers down one's spine.

"What? Did I say that?" Moola said as he was fearing for his life now.

"You did. Let me show you what I did to the last person that insulted me." Mars said as he pulled out his sword and it was blazing. Now Moola actually thought he was going to die. He swung his sword straight down and caused a geyser of fire to erupt right where they were standing. It was actually a little scary to see, but the barrier that kept the boys away disappeared after that happened.

"The barrier is down!" Sandy said.

"He didn't actually kill the guy, did he?" Gin wondered as even he got a little scared. Thankfully, he didn't. Moola might be a little crispy now, but he's still alive and has been taken out.

"Nicely done, Mars. That's what that freak gets." Mary said.

"You're lucky I found him more irritable than you." Mars said. "Are you actually trying to get a guy with your clothes all torn up like that? How desperate or sleezy can you be?"

"Hey! I'm not dressed like this on purpose!" Mary called.

"Whatever. I can't believe how desperate mortal women can get." Mars said. "You should focus more on actually honing your skills instead of trying to finding ways to land a man. As if you could actually get one."

"That's it! Begone!" Mary said with her sending him away.

"He can be a little scary." Sandy said as he was still shaking after seeing Mars in action.

"And what an attitude he has. What was that all about?" Aster said.

"Don't know. He's always had a nasty attitude like that." Mary said. "He's like one of those proud warriors who doesn't really care much for anything else outside of battle. That's why he's the olympian of war." Just then, some exhaustion came over her and she nearly toppled over, but Maru managed to catch her.

"Are you okay, Mary? Did that acid hurt you more than we thought?" Maru asked.

"No, it's not the acid." Mary said. "Earth and Mars are pretty powerful olympians. Summoning both of them like that took a good deal of my magic. Each olympian takes up a different amount of magic, but I should be okay."

"Regardless, you managed to defeat one of Fiendish Gargoyle's best." Aster said. "You should be proud of yourself, especially since you haven't been in the guild for very long."

"Yeah. I guess I am rather awesome." Mary said as she tried to sparkle.

"Oh no. Her already big ego is getting bigger." Sandy teased.

"One down and three to go." Gin said. They all liked how this was turning out. Mary did great by taking down Moola, but they still got ways to go. Three other wizards, not to mention Johnson himself, are still above and waiting for them.

...

Johnson

"Moola was actually defeated?" Johnson questioned. He watched things unfold and was rather surprised to see Moola was actually defeated.

"I'm not that surprising." Phatar said. "Moola was a cocky idiot. He was the weakest out of the four of us. Just let me go down and finish them off. I can take down all of them. Not to mention I got unfinished business with one of them."

"Now who is being cocky? You'll get your turn soon enough." Johnson said. "Let's go with someone that's a little more disciplined. Tsubasa, I think you can handle this one." Tsubasa stepped forward and was ready to fight, but he did seem a little hesitant to go. "Is there a problem?"

"No, sir. I will do as you say." Tsubasa said. Mary might have defeated Moola, but Tsubasa seems like a completely different story. With Mary already weakened, how are they going to proceed from here?
