Stepping back while showing nothing but fear in her gaze, Kije positioned herself in front of Logue, as Wild Hunt, except for Dorothea, walked towards them.

"What... What do you want from us? Who are you?"

"Oh, but how rude I am." Syura remarked. "I did indeed forget to introduce myself! My name is Syura, and I am the son of the Prime Minister as well as the leader of Wild Hunt."

Hearing this, while the town continued to talk about the atrocities of this group of murderers, Kije immediately ordered Logue.

"Go away, Logue! Go home at once."

"But, Mommy…" Said the little girl.

" NOW." Kije ordered her.

However, the child barely had time to turn around when she saw Champ right in front of her, having fun blocking her path.

"Where are you going, my angel? Why wouldn't such a cute girl like you keep me company?"

Looking at him, Logue noticed that his gaze was the same as the one Kalgon had, towards her. Frightened by this, she stepped back as Champ reached out a hand towards her.

"Let's go somewhere, both of us."

Seeing this, Kije immediately took her daughter in her arms, while ordering.

"Don't touch my daughter."

"Huh?" Enshin said. "Oh, a rebel! I think she'll have to be trained."

"No problem." Syura assured him.

"That's not fair." Cosmina remarked, looking around for someone. "There are no boys here."

"I just want to slaughter them when you're done," Giry said, flexing his massive muscles. "I want to cover myself in their blood."

Trembling because of this, Kije immediately ran away, while hugging Logue against her. However, she was quickly intercepted by Izou, who moved in front of her.

"You have a choice! Either you stay quiet, or I'll let your blood feed my precious saber."

Not knowing what to do, the poor woman stood frozen in terror, while the members of Wild Hunt began to surround them little by little.

"Lea… Leave us,… please."

Ignoring her words, Syura reached out to her.

"Don't worry! It will only be a short moment of suffering to pass."

" SKY DRAGON'S ROQUET ! "

Rocketing with the power of a tornado, a rocket managed to hit Syura in the head, creating an explosion that made the rest of his team retreat.

"What…?" Enshin wondered.

"Found it!" Seryu said simply, walking towards them, while Koro took his monster form.

"We were just looking for you." Wendy added, creating wind around her.

" Les Jaegers ! " Grogna Giry.

"W… Wendy?" Kije wondered, recognizing the child.

Then creating a wind barrier in front of her and her daughter to separate them from the thugs, the young girl ordered.

"Go away! We'll take care of them."

"What? But…?"

"That's an order." Seryu suddenly roared, trying her best to keep her cool. "If you stay there, I admit that I could very well kill you without realizing it."

It was then that the members of Wild Hunt could feel the presence of a dark aura around her. Just thinking about everything that had just happened today was enough to make Seryu furious.

And even that scared Wendy. Now she felt unable to reason with her if their opponents' best idea was to annoy her even more.

Anyway, eventually nodding Kije took Logue in his arms before running towards the city.

"Hey, not so fast." Champ retorted, creating a ball of lightning in his hand.

Then throwing it towards Kije, he was surprised to see it explode before reaching its target, being hit by projectiles.

" That … ? "

"This fight is only between us." Seryu announced, holding two revolvers in her hands. "I confess I don't know why you killed Caruma and the children…"

Suddenly reaching out her arm, she let Koro bite it to reveal a huge metal ball covered in spikes.

"But it's going to bleed! I'm going to slaughter you all, to the last one."

"Tsss!" Giry said, simply smiling. "So here is 'Justice's girl'! Funny! Are you mad because we didn't respect the law?"

"I'm not fighting for justice." Seryu retorted. "For once, if I'm fighting, it's for my own personal gain."

"Hahahaha! This must be a joke." Someone chuckled.

Clearing away the smoke surrounding him, Syura showed a face covered in burns and struggling to hide his anger.

"Do you even know what heinous act you just committed? You just attacked the Prime Minister's son! This act will never be forgiven, even with your rank! From now on, you will suffer until you die."

"No matter who you are! I will make you pay for your murders."

"But will you shut up?" Enshin asked, drawing his sword.

Deciding to start this fight, he began to create sharp winds with his weapon that shot towards Seryu.

"I'll cut you into pieces."

Stomping her foot on the ground, Seryu activated the thrusters under her soles. Creating a magical wind, they allowed her to propel over the slashing attack, as she aimed at the man.

Seeing her fall in front of him, while swinging his enormous ball in order to crush her, Enshin had the good reflex to jump back, to avoid the attack.

Taking advantage of the fact that he was moving away from his opponent, Cosmina twirled her microphone in her hand before bringing it to her mouth.

"Attention, everyone, the sublime Cosmina is in the house."

Then singing, she formed sound waves that moved towards Seryu.

" KORO ! "

Taking on the role of shield, the dog placed himself in front of the waves and took the attack. Immediately spitting blood, he could not help but press his paws on his ears, to stop this torture.

"Stupid idiot!" Cosmina sneered. "My sound waves are nothing like any projectiles."

" SKY DRAGON'S WINGS ! "

Having let her guard down, Cosmina was hit by the two tornadoes, which threw her against the tombstone of Bols' grave, pulverizing it in the process.

"Hey, it's not done to destroy the graves of the dead." Giry sneered. "Do you want to be haunted by his ghost or something?"

"SHUT UP, YOU MONSTER!" Seryu ordered, running towards her.

Seeing her propel her metal ball towards him, the colossus simply began to smile and placed his hands forward. This was how Seryu was able to see that his hands had six fingers. Indeed, starting from the middle of the back of his hands, two long hooked fingers pointed towards the enormous metal ball. Then their ended opened and two jets of acid came out.

Barely touching Seryu's giant club, the liquid began to melt it and in just a few seconds, all that remained of the weapon was a part of its chain that connected it to Seryu's arm.

" That … ? "

"This is Crocharyu." Giry sneered, crossing his two strange fingers. "This is my teigu capable of projecting jets of super corrosive acid."

Suddenly laughing, he affirmed.

"My name is Giry, the genocide! And you know why? It's because no matter where I go, I only kill everyone around me! And you know why I've never been to prison? It's because I don't leave any evidence behind me."

Snickering further, he shook one of his hooked fingers and made a drop of acid fall to the ground. This created a hole at the colossus' feet.

"As soon as I kill someone, I immediately use my teigu to make their body disappear completely, and I do the same thing with the witnesses! Without a body, what evidence do we have against me?"

" You're just an unscrupulous monster. " Seryu roared.

Continuing to just laugh, Giry eventually calmed down and thought of something.

"Hey, your sentence rings a bell! I think one of the kids at church said something similar."

"What are you talking about?

"When we attacked the church, a kid had nothing better to do than protect a little girl that Champ was about to rape! He was saying ''No, let go of Natachy! Let go of Natachy''! It was so funny! And the priest who was only telling him ''Timo, go away! '' while Syura started to crucify him! It was so funny!"

Continuing to laugh, he found nothing better to do than to raise the stakes.

"Still, that kid was just annoying us! So I got rid of him! And you want to know what was the funniest part about it? When I started to make him disappear, he had the audacity to grab my leg while muttering ''Onee-san told me I'm a man! So I have to protect the other kids!''! Hahaha! He looked like such a jerk."

Feeling his jaw being violently struck, Giry finally stopped snickering, while his body fell backwards. Performing a multitude of rolls, he finally stopped, after having left his original place by a good ten meters.

"I'm going to slaughter you." Seryu roared, beside herself. "There will be nothing left of you."

Seeing her let her rage control her, Wendy screamed.

"Seryu, calm down!"

"KORO!" Seryu roared, ignoring her friend's words. " JUSTICE EXPLOSING FIRE !"

Immediately biting her upper body, the teigu brought her out with a multitude of rocket launchers and other heavy weapons.

"Die, all of you." She ordered, firing her missiles in all directions.

Seeing two of them rushing towards him, Giry quickly got up and aimed at them with his teigu, before using his acid to make them disappear. However, seeing other projectiles heading towards him, he preferred to flee quickly.

Seeing the rest of his comrades pretending to run off in all directions, Syura simply started whistling at them.

"Come here, you morons."

Placing her hands against the ground, Wendy created a tornado that propelled her into the air out of range of the projectiles.

"It's impossible to calm Seryu down under these conditions." She remarked, seeing her friend attack everything that moved. "Good thing Kije left."

Suddenly, seeing Wild Hunt move, she noticed that each of them rushed towards Syura.

"What are they doing?"

"Hey, Justice's girl!" Syura called out. "What are you doing? You can't aim? Yet we're all here."

Growling immediately, Seryu turned towards them, and bombarded them with all the missiles she had left.

" As expected of that idiot! " Syura chuckled.

" SHAMBALA ! "

Once the missiles were close enough to him, he created a magic circle right in front of them, where they disappeared.

"What?" Seryu wondered.

"You're just an idiot." Syura sneered. "Reassure me, you have something more impressive, don't you? Because if you don't, I'll start thinking that the Jaegers really are just a bunch of losers."

Then turning to Bols' grave, he began to crush it under his foot, all the while affirming.

"In the end, you're just like that good-for-nothing! In your team, none of you are worth anything."

Immediately dropping her missile launchers and having no tactical plan in mind, Seryu charged at him, and began to chain punches. Having no trouble dodging them, Syura continued to give him a mocking smile, while taking advantage of the girl's anger. Enraged as she was, Seryu was incapable of showing intelligence or strategy. She was only punching the air and tiring herself out.

"What's wrong with you? You're slow today! If this keeps up, I'm going to leave you here and go after other people! No, I have a better idea."

Glancing to the side, to see Wendy landing not far from him, he finally ordered.

"Guys! Take care of the other girl! Make her suffer."

He didn't have to say it twice before his five comrades started running towards Wendy.

"Sorry kid, but your last hour has come."

" SKY DRAGON'S ROAR ! "

Seeing the tornado heading towards them, Champ created a sphere of fire while Enshin swung a multitude of sharp winds. Combining, the two attacks collided with Wendy's and created an explosion that engulfed the scene of the fight. Putting her arms in front of her to protect herself from the smoke, Wendy prepared to chase it away using her wind. However, instead of a blast of wind, it was a cry of pain that came out of her mouth. Passing behind her, Izou put away his sword, as it had just cut her arm.

" GOTCHA ! "

Grimacing in pain, Wendy couldn't react in time as Giry's figure burst through the smoke to stand in front of her. Using his strength, he threw a powerful punch at her, which ejected her out of the cloud of smoke.

Seeing her fall violently to the ground, Seryu turned to her.

" WENDY ! "

"Never look away from me." Syura warned.

A powerful kick struck the young woman's shin, fracturing it.

CRACK

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

"You lost." Syura rejoiced.

As she began to get up, Wendy held her stomach where Giry had just hit her. However, far from taking pity on her, Cosmina began to sing and the waves quickly reached Wendy's ears.

Singing softly on purpose, Cosmina took great pleasure in seeing Wendy scream in pain, as she felt as if her eardrums were going to explode.

"AHHHHHHH! Stop that!"

"Oh, the poor little thing." Giry sneered.

"Indeed!" Champ said. "Too bad she's so old! I could have taken very good care of her."

Creating a new fireball in his hands, he threw it towards Wendy, while Giry and Enshin created their own attacks before imitating him. Barely able to comprehend what was happening, Wendy could even less dodge the triple attack that was coming at her.

"Wendy, move." Seryu shouted at her.

Too late. Hitting their targets, the three attacks had very quickly destroyed everything during the attack, before creating an explosion.

"And one less Jaeger." Cosmina rejoiced.

"I tell you, Wild Hunt would soon take the place of the Jaegers," Giry said. "And once they do, we can do whatever we want with this city."

"No." Izou suddenly retorted, looking ahead. "The fight isn't over."

"Huh?" said the other four.

Growling then, Koro made himself seen while he was in his Berseck form. Having positioned himself in front of Wendy, he had taken all of the attacks and his body had paid the damage. Completely destroyed here and there, his body continued to be dissolved because of Giry's acid.

"What? The teigu?" Champ wondered.

"Koro!" Seryu was horrified, seeing him in such bad shape.

" He protected me! " Wendy remarked. " He protected me without Seryu ordering him to! He did it on his own. "

Seeing him continue to decompose, Wendy had no other idea than to run towards him and take advantage of his injuries to plunge her hand into his body. Quickly touching what she was looking for in the melted flesh, she ended up extracting the vital core of the teigu and removed it from his body, before the acid began to destroy it in turn.

"She has the core." Cosmina remarked.

"Shall we have a contest?" Enshin wanted to know. "The first one to destroy this core will have the right to rape and slaughter this girl."

"Perfect!" the others assured, then setting off in pursuit.

Realizing what they were planning to do, Wendy created a tornado to make them back down, before starting to run.

" It will take Koro a few minutes to fully regenerate. " She remarked. " No choice! I need to find a place to hide his core. "

"Where do you think you're going?" Izou wanted to know, running right next to her, hand on his sword.

"I love playing chase games." Enshin said.

Managing to grab Wendy's hair, he then raised his saber and brought it down in order to decapitate her head.

"First come, first served."

" VERNIER !" Wendy shouted immediately.

Jumping as high as possible, she allowed her body to be out of the path of Enshin's blade. As a result, surprised to see her jump like that, the man felt his blade only cut the child's hair and found himself with them in his hand. Free, Wendy fell back right in front of him and immediately placed her palms on his chest.

" SKY DRAGON'S CLAW ! "

A powerful wind immediately hit Enshin's abdomen and propelled him backwards. Seeing him crash into Cosmina and Giry, Wendy resumed her run, without dwelling on the loss of a large portion of her hair.

Seeing her flee like this, Syura roared.

"You're just a bunch of good-for-nothings! What are you waiting for to capture her?"

Seeing an opening, Seryu immediately fired at him with her pistols. Nevertheless, jumping back and zigzagging to dodge the projectiles, the man questioned her.

"You really don't have anything else but his little toys? It's not even funny anymore."

It was then that he stopped laughing, seeing Seryu take a white ball out of her jacket pocket. Without wasting a moment, she threw it against the ground, and then created a cloud of smoke that quickly surrounded the two fighters.

"A smoke bomb?" Syura wondered, his vision completely blurred.

Looking around at first, trying to catch Seryu's figure, he eventually calmed down and closed his eyes.

"Calm down! If you concentrate, you will feel his presence."

Yet, nothing around him could help him identify Seryu's position. Straining his ears, he didn't hear any noise and even less the slightest bit of shadow betraying her presence.

" What? Where is she? "

Suddenly seized by a bad feeling, the man turned around while making big gestures with his arms. Thus managing to chase away the smoke all around him, he was surprised to see no one.

"What? Where is she?"

Finally catching movement, he managed to spot Seryu running in the distance, chasing Wendy and the rest of Wild Hunt. As far as she was concerned, Syura could wait. Wendy wasn't fit to stand up to five powerful opponents and she needed to help her while she waited for Koro to recover.

Seeing this, a vein of rage appeared on Syura's forehead, who muttered.

"This woman… how dare she ignore me?"

Continuing to run, Wendy eventually left the cemetery and soon found herself near the town. Seeing her coming towards them, chased by Wild Hunt, a few villagers were already backing away while screaming.

"They're coming! Wild Hunt is here!"

"Quick! Run away!"

"Stay hidden in the houses!"

Seeing them flee, Wendy wondered how to proceed. Of course, fleeing Wild Hunt was her priority. However, she did not want to enter the city and put the lives of several citizens in danger.

So, stopping just in front of the first houses, she ends up throwing Koro's life core towards a roof, before turning around to face Wild Hunt.

"Hmm? Are you stopping playing?" Giry wondered. "Too bad, this was starting to be fun."

"I prefer that! Killing is more enjoyable than running." Izou retorted, drawing his sword again.

"Hihihi! In that case, who's going to kill her?" Cosmina sneered, already positioning her microphone in front of her lips.

Not wanting to give them the chance to attack first, Wendy immediately puffed up her cheeks and created a tornado.

" SKY DRAGON'S ROAR ! "

"I already know that attack." Enshin sneered, creating blades of air with his saber.

Managing to ''cut'' Wendy's winds, he forced the young girl to jump to the side, so as not to be slashed. Finding herself right behind her, the wall of a house was hit head-on and was then reduced to pieces.

"So?" Enshin chuckled. "My attacks are pretty powerful, aren't they?"

" EXPLOSION ORB ! "

Seeing Champ throw one of his teigus orbs at her, Wendy quickly ran to the side.

" VERNIER ! "

Increasing her speed, she managed in extremis to find herself out of the explosion, whose shock wave was enough to eject her. Unfortunately, finding himself already behind her, Giry began to smile sadistically while inflicting a violent kick that hit her back.

Unable to do anything but scream in pain, Wendy was thrown into the sky, where Cosmina could happily touch her.

Deciding once again not to finish him off too quickly, she barely hummed to reduce the power of her sound waves. However, hearing them without difficulty, Wendy screamed once again, feeling as if her entire body was starting to vibrate and her eardrums were about to explode.

Finally, falling back to the ground, she barely perceived Izou's silhouette running towards her, as well as his saber slashing her abdomen. Coughing up blood, Wendy collapsed to the ground, now with a large gash in her stomach.

"Victory is ours." Cosmina said.

Seeing this sinister spectacle, while being too afraid of being killed by coming to Wendy's aid, some villagers remained hidden in the streets or their houses while moaning in fear.

Seeing them, Enshin started to snicker while exclaiming.

"Dearest cowards! Did you see what just happened? This girl, coming from the Jaegers group, tried to rebel against us! And as you can see, she paid a high price! So let this sink in to each of you: attacking us is tantamount to death! We are invincible."

However, her gaze shifted slightly, hearing a groan of pain. Getting up with difficulty, Wendy continued to cough up blood, while moving even the slightest part of her body caused her martyrdom.

"Huh?" Champ wondered. "Hey, what did you do, Izou? Why didn't you kill him?"

"The situation has changed." The swordsman remarked, seeing the citizens in front of them. "First, we weren't supposed to kill a jaeger! And second, it's now too late to deny the fact that we didn't do anything to this girl, with so many witnesses in front of us! We must wait for Syura's orders and act cautiously from now on! Let's not forget that Esdeath is this girl's superior! I don't want to come across as a coward, but I don't want to die either."

"Who cares about that?" Giry asked.

Stepping towards Wendy, he pointed his two long, hooked fingers at her, asserting.

"We are Wild Hunt! Between the seven of us, no one can defeat us! Esdeath can come, I can't wait for her! I've always dreamed of covering myself in her blood."

"As long as you are willing to take full responsibility, do whatever you want."

Painfully lifting her face, Wendy then saw him, as Giry questioned her.

"Do you have any last words to say?"

"Fai… Fairy Tail will never give up." Wendy affirmed.

"In that case, have a good trip to the afterlife."

Then firing two jets of acid, Giry horrified Wendy's gaze. However, too injured to move, the child could only wait. Wait for death to come while gritting her teeth.

" Natsu! I'm sorry! "

" WENDY ! "

Jumping in front of Wendy, Seryu brandishes her mechanical arms in front of her, in order to protect her from the acid.

" Seryu ! Move ! "

Too late. Touching her left arm, the acid quickly disintegrated it. Splashing in the process, her shoulder as well as several parts of her abdomen were touched in the process, making the poor woman scream in pain, who fell to her knees.

"Oh, a bonus." Giry sneered. "You shouldn't have rushed it! I would have killed you too anyway."

Simply glaring at him, Seryu began to roar.

" You're just a monster."

Chuckling upon hearing it, Giry affirmed.

"That gives us something in common."

Then pointing his finger at her, he affirmed.

"Both of us have killed so many people that it is impossible for us to say the exact number of our crimes." And I'll tell you something! You have killed a lot of innocent people!

Seeing Seryu remain still, Giry continued.

"You didn't realize it, did you? But by blindly following the Empire's orders, you only helped kill the main threats targeting the Prime Minister! You were nothing more than a puppet for many years and you…"

"You're not telling me anything."

Then stopping smiling, Giry looked at Seryu who was staring at him without showing any emotion.

"It's been a while since I understood that! Since I understood that the revolutionaries are not the real enemy of the people! No, those who threaten the lives of civilians are just people like you."

Listening to her without saying anything, Giry ended up laughing again.

"Hahaha! You're really very strange! All your life you must have been rejected, right? Normal, you're a real psychopath! In that case, explain to me the reason why you want to protect an empire where everyone hates you? It's ridiculous."

"SHUT UP! I am determined to save the people of this country even if they hate me! As long as there is an innocent to save, I will be there to protect them! Listening to her, no one dared to say anything, whether it was the members of Wild Hunt, Wendy or the citizens who were able to listen to her. All were astonished. Seryu had spoken without uttering a word resembling justice or with an unhealthy smile. No, she had spoken like a proud, courageous person would have done.

Suddenly swinging his fist at her stomach, Syura made a magnificent entrance, forcing Seryu to fall next to Wendy.

" Seryu ! "

"We, the enemy of the people?" Syura chuckled. "Are you stupid? I'm the son of the Prime Minister! This empire belongs to him and so do I! So we can do whatever we want with these people."

Then, seeing Wendy giving him a dark look, an idea suddenly came to his mind.

"But you know, Seryu, in the end, you're a bit like us! You're a wonderful soldier who perfectly executes the orders he's given! Because of that, I can spare you."

" Spare me ? "

"Yes, but on two conditions! One, you will now work under my orders! And two, you must kill..."

Pointing at Wendy, he stated.

"This girl."

At first surprised by his request, Seryu eventually smiled grimly, before asking.

"And why would I?"

"It's simple." Syura stated. "Actually, you know the murders we've been committing lately... guess who's the cause! It's your friend."

" Huh ? "

"Yes! Because of her actions, we were ordered to make her regret standing up to my father! We were then ordered to kill everyone who had any connection with them! That means the poor people of the capital as well as the children of the church."

Then widening their eyes, the two girls had a hard time understanding the meaning of his words. But, finally, turning to Wendy, Seryu finally asked.

"So if they died... it's your fault?"
