Ash and Pikachu gasped. Hearing Robin about her wish, Ash seemed in awe. "You… wanted to take me in?" he asked. Robin nodded to the claim.
"Hearing of your story and how much I fell for you," Robin started. "I felt like I wanted to do something. I know I can't reverse time and be the one to give birth to you… but I'd want to raise you as if I was your mother." Pikachu seemed stunned while on Robin's lap.
("You're so caring…") he gulped.
"I had gone to ask Princess Vivi if she could allow me to adopt you by law," Robin briefed. "However, she refused." Ash and Pikachu seemed a little perplexed. "It's not that she didn't want it to happen… She felt as though you're old enough to decide whether or not you'd accept me as your mother." Ash dipped his head at the rejection.
"It's just all so sudden," he muttered. "For you to go out of your way to adopt me… It's not that I don't like the idea, but to do it behind my back and not talk to me beforehand…"
"I know, but after what happened throughout your life, it feels wrong that you're forced to grow up without a parent. What she said is that if you were a smaller child, she'd have no issue offering you to me."
"I get that… I still think that talking to me about it before you asked the princess would've helped make it easier. Still, are you sure you want to take care of me?"
"Yes… but now that you've heard of my wishes, do you want to accept?" The request made Ash look to Robin. Suddenly, tears trickled from his eyes. A sniffle sounded.
("Ash…") squeaked Pikachu. Ash stood and took a couple of steps to Robin. Finally, he hugged her.
"You don't know how happy I'm feeling!" he cried. "I want to be your son!" Robin gasped in delight. She embraced Ash as she hugged him back. Pikachu smiled at the sight before Robin hoisted him up to join in the hug. The embrace made Pikachu feel excited. It was a sight to behold, especially to Shakky and Makino. To Ash, a piece of his life that was taken was returned. He has a small…
Family! Ash is Adopted!
There was a large structure somewhere in the distance where silhouettes appeared. "I got word that Nelson, the Lord over the small villages east of Grand Jipang, was killed," an older man informed.
"That fatso?" a woman scoffed. "He's nothing but a slob. Besides, why are you telling us? It doesn't have significance to what we have."
"It's who killed him," the older man voiced. "Mainly, the Summoner."
"Oh, da famed magic man with animals," a dumb-sounding man voiced. "Wasn't a few of dem dragons?"
"I think so…" the woman agreed. "However, I also heard that the Summoner is a little boy."
"Ah, does he keep dem as pets?" the dumb-sounding man guessed.
"Why would he keep them as pets when they go back to their world?" the old man questioned. "Still, while we wouldn't have minded Nelson… a child killing a lord like that?"
"But didn't we get rid of the last summoner several years ago?" the woman thought. "Or were there more that could've shipped overseas?"
"Whatever the reason, we need to hunt them down if it means protecting the country's prosperity," the old man plotted. They schemed throughout the night. The next morning, Ash and Pikachu reached the castle with Robin before they entered. Vivi stood in the middle of the room and awed the group.
"Robin, Ash, Pikachu," she listed. Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder before leaping into Vivi's arms. "Easy, I'm happy to see you too." Seeing the pair, Vivi assumed they had a chance to come to terms. "Seeing you two together, it tells me that you've come to a resolution. Is this true?"
"It is," Robin confirmed.
"Princess, can you allow Robin to adopt me?" requested Ash. Excited, Vivi laughed.
"Of course!" she cheered. "I will gladly offer the parchment to grant you two the permission to be a family." She looked to Pikachu. "Did you wanna come with or are you okay with those two?" Pikachu squeaked and pointed up to Vivi. "Okay, but I'm going to need my hands."
("Oh yeah…") realized Pikachu before climbing up to her shoulder. A few minutes later, she returned with a paper that had symbols on there.
"This is the Writ of Confirmation for Adoption," Vivi presented. "Robin, since you're the first to address me, you can sign first." Taking an ink brush, Robin signed her name. "Ash, if you sign this, you will have a parent for life."
"And I can restart what I lost so many years ago," he accepted as he signed his name. Vivi palmed their heads as Pikachu watched from her head. Ash and Robin closed their eyes. She made a prayer. Finally, she removed her hands. "Congratulations, you two. I now pronounce you… mother and son." Robin and Ash embraced each other in a hug.
("We have a mom!") cheered Pikachu. Ash soon accepted Robin's embrace, a new mother to replace the one who died almost his entire life before. They had gone to the Pinwheel where they announced the adoption. Onami, Omao, Ocarrot, Luffy and Blue-Nose awed the news.
"Ash, I'm so proud of you!" cheered Omao as she hugged Ash. Sanji saw this and became upset to it.
"You finally have a mom," Onami praised. "We couldn't feel happier about it!" She joined with a hug of her own, followed by a kiss to the temple. Sanji's anger to the kiss mouted.
"I told you that you're part of the family!" laughed Luffy.
"Yes, and we can't feel happy enough that she's taking you under her wings," Brook praised as he sipped tea.
"Well, he didn't feel like it before," Blue-Nose understood. "But now, it's almost too much for him." Ocarrot did her Garchu on Ash.
"Youteia are lucky!" she cooed. "I would want to be part of the family, too!" In the back, Sanji became angered at how much love Ash was receiving.
"Not fair…" he muttered before he pounded the table. "THIS IS NOT FAIR!" Everyone heard Sanji in bewilderment.
"What's not fair?" wondered Luffy.
"Oh, how much of a thrill it is being surrounded by a bevy of beauties…" moaned Brook. "Surely, Sanji is acting out of jealousy." Sanji kicked Brook's skull, knocking him down.
"Don't make it sound so mockingly!" he shouted. Ash looked to the floored skeleton before Sanji hoisted him up by the collar. "As for you, don't you ever make Robin sad by any means, okay!?" Arms appeared out from the floor before they held two fingers from holding fists that pierced Sanji in the buttocks. The pierce made Sanji jump and yelp in pain before he landed on his hands holding the derriere. Robin relaxed her crossed arms which had palms up and fingers spread.
"That's my son, Sanji," she warned. Sanji cried in pain.
"That's not where I'd imagine human fingers going," Blue-Nose gulped. Ash sighed as he shook his head. Luffy came to Robin.
"As a fellow officer, I swear to protect Ash with my well-being," he promised. Robin bobbed a nod.
"Now if he only takes this much responsibility…" muttered Onami.
"I'm sure everyone knows about it," Omao understood with Pikachu agreeing on her shoulder. Onami sighed to the Omao's reasoning.
"At least Shakky's inn will have one more vacancy," Usopp studied. Ocarrot flustered a sigh of her own, having everyone turn to her.
"I did wish that Ash had one more day there to spend with me," she wished. "I could've had a night to remember…" Everyone else wondered about Ocarrot's desire. At Shakky's inn, Shakky and Makino watched as Ash made sure he had all of the scrolls he brought over.
"So, this is it, huh?" pondered Shakky. "You're finally adopted?"
"Yup," Ash confirmed as he finished packing his scrolls. "I have a new mom… and Pikachu and I'll be living with her from now on." Makino awed the information.
"That's wonderful, Ash!" she cheered. "We're both very happy for you!" She calmed herself down. "Although, to be honest… I envy Robin. If not her, I would've adopted you, myself."
"Yeah, me too," Shakky agreed. "Rayleigh and I would've been more than happy to have you for a son. Just didn't expect for Robin to beat us to the punch." She billowed a sigh. "Oh well… Maybe someday."
"It's sad, but we are going to really miss having you here," Makino muttered.
"Hey, don't worry about it," Ash assured. "We'll still come back and visit every now and then. Besides, Pikachu loves playing with your kid, Makino." The young mother beamed a smile.
"And he's still such a darling to make my baby smile and laugh so much!" she replied, making Shakky giggle.
"Anyways, congratulations again, Ash," she praised. "And while it's too late for either of us to have adopted you…" The women shot a glance to each other and nodded. "We may as well give you something to remember us by."
"And what's that?" wondered Ash. Shakky flanked Ash's left side while Makino flanked his right before they knelt.
"THIS!" they replied before hugging Ash. Then, they kissed his cheeks softly, making Ash blush. The women giggled before helping Ash finish packing. That evening, Ash arrived to Robin's flat as she offered him his new room. He stored his scrolls away. That night, a bath had been drawn.
"Hon, the bath is ready!" told Robin. Ash soon wore nothing. He entered the bath with Pikachu joining. He looked to the moon out to the night sky.
"Pikachu, could you believe that I haven't had this feeling in a long time?" he asked.
("The feeling of not being jealous?") guessed Pikachu.
"Well, feeling like a child again. I know, I'm still young… but having a parent is one thing I had long wished for ever since I was in the orphanage." Pikachu awed and understood Ash's point.
("You've got one now.") Just as Ash started to relax, he felt skin rubbing his back. This surprised Ash as he quickly turned to Robin. Her enormous breasts were in full display.
"Thought I'd join in by washing your back," she smiled. Ash's face became red. "It's not easy to bathe with a parent after you've grown up." Ash shyly laughed as Robin worked on his back to clean.
"It's been so long since I had a parent hold me, let alone… anything else," he stuttered.
"I bet. Everyone has been staying away from you and it's not fair. It's also fascinating that we have these powers that would make anyone a little resilient to talk to us, let alone have a good time."
"Yeah… Did you want to be a mother? Not just me, but anyone." Robin looked to the moon as she wrapped her arms around Ash.
"How can I explain it?" She took a moment to think. "When I first saw you, I wanted to make sure you were okay. When you told all of us what happened in your past, I felt sick to my stomach. I wanted to do something for you, not just stay in the inn for all of your time. What you have gone through should never have happened."
"I know, and it feels horrid. I don't want it to happen to another child like that."
"And neither would I. To love you is a way that I've felt was the best thing to do." A sigh from Ash followed with a smile.
"It's the start of a new life for me… and my summons."
"And I know you'll have some difficulties, but nevertheless…" She hugged Ash and rested her chin on Ash's shoulder. Pikachu smiled, seeing the bond growing. That night, Ash and Pikachu were sleeping in a futon near Robin's when she peered at the two. Their smiles were shown. Robin smiled back, her heart melting to the sight. She came over quietly to Ash and Pikachu and leaned down. She gathered her futon before tucking herself near Ash's. She hugged Ash around his head. It woke Ash up.
"Uh…" This made Robin shush softly to him.
"It's okay." She kissed Ash on the forehead Ash smiled before he fell asleep as Robin hummed a lullaby. As she sang, Robin combed her fingers in his hair like petting. Ash smiled before falling asleep. It was the first night for Ash as a son once again.
