Ash was digging in his sack before he found something. "I knew I packed it in before we left," he smiled. "And yours is here as well, Pikachu." Pikachu ran up to Ash before he was presented a short fishing pole.

("The one you made for me,") he realized. Ash's fishing pole was more normal. Robin saw the two and began to wonder.

"You're going fishing at the beach south of Grand Jipang?" she guessed. Ash and Pikachu turned to their mother.

"We are," Ash confirmed. "We promised the kids that we do some fishing." Robin smiled, the incident of what happened with Foxy and his harem.

"At least it's a good thing you recovered after that harrowing experience with Foxy and his women." Seeing the poles, Robin took one and examined it. "Oh, these were made with bamboo. Did you slice some in training?"

"I did, but I didn't want it wasted… so I crafted fishing poles out of them. The shoots were hard to roll."

"Still, this is one heck of a fishing pole you've made. Hopefully, you'll get something tasty for Sanji to make."

"I'm sure if I mention you, he'll do it." Everyone laughed to the tease. Suddenly, Robin had an idea. "Actually, I have a request, my child." Curious, Ash and Pikachu turned to the mother.

"What's up?"

"Could I watch over Pikachu? I'm sure no one will come after you." Ash turned to Pikachu for his intake.

("I can stay with Mom today,") he offered.

"You're fine with it?" guessed Ash. Pikachu nodded. "Okay, I can see you later." Pikachu hopped off Ash's shoulder and into Robin's arms.

"Have fun fishing," Robin wished. Ash smiled before heading out with his pole.

Eyes Undersea! Ash goes Fishing!

Ash began walking through the city of Grand Jipang and seeing the buildings being decorated. "They must be getting set up for the upcoming celebration," he assumed.

"Right, youteia are!" cheered Ocarrot as she hugged Ash from behind. The Mink did her Garchu.

"Hi, Ocarrot…" he sighed.

"What are youteia doing? And with this fishing pole?" She grabbed the pole and observed it.

"A few kids had asked me to go fishing with them at the beach. I thought I'd stop by for a packed lunch before we head out."

"Good idea. Youteia can maybe get some with the other kids as well. Let's wait at the Pinwheel." They entered the Pinwheel where Omao greeted them.

"Ocarrot, you're a little early," she giggled. "And welcome, Ash." Ash smiled back as Onami also saw him, but not with Pikachu.

"Is Pikachu okay?" she asked. "It's not like you to be without him."

"He's fine," Ash assured. "Mom's watching over him." Onami snorted a giggle.

"Oh, okay," she eased. "I was a little worried."

"Besides, I was wondering if I can get a bento box for the fishing trip with the kids," Ash requested. Sanji overheard Ash and peered from the kitchen.

"Yeah, of course," he allowed. "Actually, I created a new dish that you could try." Hearing Sanji's idea, Ash became intrigued.

"You know I'm willing to try new stuff," he laughed. "What's on your menu?" As Sanji told Ash about his dish, the kids entered and found Ash.

"There you are!" cheered Carrot. Ash turned to see the group.

"Hey, guys!" he welcomed. "You all have fishing poles?"

"We're gonna get ours when we see Jonathan and Jessica at the beach," Aisa briefed. "See, they're from Overseas and they have made fishing rods that they brought over here." Ash seemed intrigued by the information.

"Overseas?" he repeated. "Wow!"

"We're like that ourselves," Onion shrugged. "I bet we can see what goes on in new lands." Orika came to Ash with concern.

"Where's Pikachu?" she asked.

"Mom's watching over him, today," Ash replied. Orika sighed.

"I was hoping Jessica would like to see him," she wished. Sanji emerged with a box.

"There you go," he said. "This should feed all of you."

"THANKS, SANJI!" they cheered. They left after Ash paid. Sanji had a huge grin.

"Something tells me he'll bring in a huge catch," he plotted. "Just imagine what kind of food I can make." No one noticed his grin. Ash and the kids reached the beach where two young adults wearing shirts waited. The reddish-orange-haired man wore a red shirt and brown slacks. The blond woman wore a white shirt and red long skirt.

"Hey, kids!" the orange-haired greeted through his thick mustache.

"Hey, Jonathan," Orika greeted. "Are the boats ready to go?"

"They are," Jonathan confirmed as he saw Ash. "And who's your friend?" Pepper turned to and greeted Ash.

"This is the Summoner we told you about the last time," he mentioned. The blond, Jessica, studied Ash.

"The infamous Summoner?" she believed. "I was expecting someone a little older." Jonathan scoffed to Jessica's study.

"Honestly, dear," he spoke up. "It's not like you're going to choose a child over me." Jessica giggled back to Jonathan.

"Are you implying that I can't be a good mother?" she teased. Everyone had a laugh. Jonathan handed the kids their fishing poles before looking at Ash's.

"Fascinating," he studied. "Bamboo with an extra layer for sturdiness. Not bad craftsmanship."

"Thanks," Ash accepted. The small boats were ready to go out onto the water. They pushed the boats onto the water. Jonathan had Ash, Orika and Carrot on his boat while Jessica had Aisa, Onion and Pepper on hers.

"Have you fished before, Ash?" asked Orika.

"I have," Ash replied. "They were just small fish, but it was enough for us to survive until we reached Grand Jipang."

"I bet," Jonathan chuckled. "When the kids told me about you, I wondered about your past and what you did before you came here."

"Trust me, it's nothing a child wants to go through," Ash sighed.

"Definitely," Carrot agreed. As they reached a deep portion of the ocean off of the shore, they drew their lines and their hooks fell into the water.

"I heard that one of your summonses was a permanent resident of this world," Jonathan spoke up.

"You mean Pikachu, right?" he guessed. "Well, Mom's got him today."

"Oh, I was wondering what was going on," Jonathan awed. "I was told that you had no parent to speak of."

"One of Princess Vivi's personal guards adopted him after Ash arrived and stayed for a couple of weeks," Orika briefed.

"That explains why Ash referred her as mother," Jonathan figured. Suddenly, a yelp. Jonathan's boat turned to Jessica's where Pepper struggled to hold his pole.

"I got a big one!" he shouted. He held the line taught as the catch fought to free itself.

"Hang on!" urged Carrot. The fight between Pepper and the fish seemed to take a long time. Finally, with one pull, Pepper pulled out a tiny stickleback. Aisa and Carrot collapsed at the tiny fish that was a struggle. Suddenly, Ash felt a pull from his pole.

"I got a bite!" he announced. The pull made Ash brace as he had a foot on the boat side. The pull made Jonathan's boat go fast and going farther out to sea. Jonathan, Onion and Orika held on.

"We got a fighter!" proclaimed Jonathan. The line pulled and Ash gawked. The pull forced Ash into the water while still holding onto the pole. The battle continued underwater when Ash got a look of a giant blue fish that looked like an elephant trunk was the angler.

"ASH!" shouted Orika and Jonathan. As Ash struggled with the fish, eyes from deep saw the struggle with sapphire blue eyes.

'Oh my goodness!' a thought of a young woman gasped. 'Who is that human? What's with the look? I see that he's battling a Blue-Fin Elephant Tuna and-' The eyes winced. 'Oh! My heart! Can it be?' The eyes watched on, a gut-feeling taking over to retreat. Ash began to struggle on more than the Tuna.

'I'm running out of air!' he realized. 'I gotta do something!' The Tuna turned around as Ash released his pole. It charged at Ash who braced for contact. They met where the Tuna launched Ash into the sky. He flew before Ash unveiled a blue scroll. "COME FORTH, DRAGONITE!" The scroll flashed and Dragonite arrived to take Ash up. Everyone awed Ash being able to summon.

"He can summon a dragon?" gulped Jonathan. Not ready to give up, Ash brought out another scroll.

"His claw is the breaker of seas!" he chanted. "COME FORTH, KINGLER!" The flash appeared and a large red crab with a head that had a set of horns. One pincer was twice as large as the other. The new crab fell as the Tuna came up and leaped. "Crab Hammer!" Kingler swung its massive pincer, striking the Tuna on the trunk.

("You are done,") it croaked. The Tuna fell into the water before coming belly up. Ash and Dragonite swooped down before the kids and the couple saw the summoned.

"That was awesome!" cheered Pepper.

"So, this is the power of the Summoner…" awed Jonathan. Kingler hoisted the Tuna on board before they brought the boats to shore. They brought the Tuna into the Pinwheel. Sanji saw it and became elated.

"Wow, a Blue-Fin Elephant Tuna!" he gasped. "I felt that you guys would get a big one, but not this big!"

"Believe me, the struggle with that fish and Ash was one-in-a-million," Jessica implied.

"Just the dish for you will be something for Overseasns to soon come and enjoy!" swooned Sanji as he grabbed Jessica's hands to hold. "As such, you'll be the first to try and be amazed to harbor the sweet seafood it can be created into." Jessica irked a little to Sanji's flirting.

"You… uh, you know I'm married to Jonathan, right?"

"I'd offer myself as a second option should you and Jonathan have a fallout." Jessica nervously giggled to the proposal as Vivi stopped by. Seeing Ash, she walked to and patted on the shoulder. Ash turned around to find the princess.

"Princess Vivi?" he realized. Giggling, Vivi had a finger over her lips. She had Ash follow her outside where the city was becoming more decorated.

"My father wanted to see you," she briefed. "It has to do with the oncoming festival." Ash became curious.

"Lord Cobra?" he wondered. "I bet it's something big." They soon arrived at the castle and entered. There, Cobra saw his daughter and Ash.

"Summoner, please come in," he welcomed. Obeying, Ash and Vivi came forward where Pikachu reunited with his partner.

"Lord Cobra, what is it?" he asked.

"First, to know if you're okay. I had heard that you were in a struggle with a Blue-Fin Elephant Tuna."

"Thanks to Dragonite and Kingler, we're okay."

"That's good. Still, that's a rare fish… Nevertheless, the reason I called for you is that in several days, we'll have kingdoms from around to visit. This includes the kingdoms of Wano, Ryugu and Dressrosa. We want to welcome these kingdoms with open arms. To do so, we have gathered gifts for those visiting."

"And what about these gifts?"

"That's where you come in. We want to assign you to help with the exchange of the gifts to the proper kingdoms. These are hallmarks to ascertain a peace among those who are coming by, including Fishmen and merfolk. Among this, my servants have uncovered a link to your summoning abilities." Ash and Pikachu gasped to the news.

"About my talents?"

"Yes… If this proceeds as planned, we can offer you a chance to go on this expedition since this is among your talents." Pikachu nodded to Cobra's offer.

"Lord, you can trust me with the gifts to exchange."

"Thank you, Ash. I do hope that when these festivities are complete, we will gain morale should we have a need for it." Ash and Pikachu nodded before they left for home.

"So, what did you and Mom do when I was fishing with the kids?" he teased.

("Let's see…") pondered Pikachu as they have new objectives on hand. It started with returning to Robin.
