The Dark Knight v. The Man Of Steel
Chapter 1: Metropolis 2013
A mild Hans Zimmer soundtrack plays in the background as a bat symbol with Superman's logo zooms forward to the screen.
We open a year later after the battle with Bane where Bruce Wayne lives alone in secret since the world declared him dead…for the second time.
Selina Kyle resumed her cat burglary and jewel thefts which broke off their relationship. Bruce took back his mother's necklace but Selina had vanished off the grid.
However Bruce just happened to be in Metropolis during the invasion of General Dru-Zod.
He knew his old friend: Lucius Fox was there in a meeting with Lex Luthor's CEO's of Lexcorp as he raised through the city's destruction trying to get a hold of him.
"Come on Lucius." Bruce said.
Lucius stood up as he saw first hand what was happening outside during the meeting… He then received an unknown call from his cell but with this situation he answered.
"This is Lucius Fox." Lucius said.
"Lucius! You need to get out there now!" Bruce called.
"Mr. Wayne? You're alive…but you were dead one year later?" Jack asked.
"Never mind. You need to get out of the building now!" Bruce said.
Soon Lucius heard an impact and saw Superman pushing Zod into the building through the window below him…
Lucius knew what was coming as he sadden with his phone on his ear.
"I'm sorry old friend. It's too late." Lucius said.
"NO LUCIUS!" Bruce called.
"Tell Tiffany I love her. And I'm sorry I wasn't around much. We really made a difference…didn't we Batman?" Lucius said sadly.
A crash was heard and Bruce made it inside just to see the building being cut in half by heat rays undoubtedly from Zod.
"LUCIUS!" Bruce yelled.
Like in the movie Bruce towards the falling with people running passed him in the opposite direction.
After the building fell Bruce still found the man who lost his legs but to Bruce's shock.
He happens to spot Tiffany Fox Lucius's 15 year old daughter in the dust crying out looking for her employer as she calls out to him.
"Tiffany?" Bruce asked.
Tiffany looks back and gasps seeing Bruce Wayne alive after a year believing he was dead.
"Bruce Wayne…? But…how…" Tiffany said.
"I'll explain later but where's your father?" Bruce asked.
Tiffany just cried again, nodding and shrugging.
"I don't know…I don't know…" Tiffany said with a cried.
Bruce comforted her in a hug as she cried just when he saw the falling fire in the sky along with Superman and Zod.
Bruce holding Tiffany glared at the Man of Steel above him with a serious look promising himself Superman will answer for Lucius's death…
