So this chapter is mostly to unwind after a stressful week as this chapter returns to the subject of complaining about the bot farms
So with the introductions established the subject turned to how Mikey figured out Buttercup was a mutant animal…
"Well…" Buttercup said "...It all started because I like to write stories and I post them on my online portfolio where other writers on that site can review them...But no one ever reviewed despite how much hard work I put into my stories! All the reviews seemed to go to stories that were…" She took a moment to think how to best phrase some of the most disgusting popular stuff she saw on that site "...Imitations of those cheap romance novels!"
The Turtles gave each other wry looks
"And then one day I noticed for the first time several stories had reviews but when I looked at them...They were all Spam! Some cheap scam has been going around always saying 'I love your story! I want to make digital art of it! So please send money to my…' You get the gist of it...And I learned that these are bot farm accounts and well...Mikey said Donatello is good with computers so maybe…"
But Don shook his head "You can't ask me to stop spam advertising...For one these are probably multiple people running multiple bot farms...More than I can deal with! And two...It may be annoying but it's not really a crime we can't go around harassing people for being simply being nuisances!"
"Aw come on Donny!" Mikey protested "Can't you at least do a little digging to find out where some of this bot farms are coming from?"
As Mikey and Donny began to argue about the logistics of this...Buttercup's eyelids began to droop...She had stayed up till midnight to meet Mikey and now it was getting to 2 in the morning with all this talking...Buttercup was a very heavy sleeper and as she rested her head on the arm of the sofa and closed her eyes she quickly began to snore causing all the Turtles to realize they now had an unintended sleepover...And since she lived with a human scientist...Mikey was pretty sure she didn't tell her adoptive Dad what she was doing because she knew he would approve!
"So…" Donny said "...Do we just...Take her back home?"
"You want to carry the fat pig?" Raph asked "I mean look at her! She's got to weigh like two hundred pounds!"
"I think it's slightly less than that…" Don rolled his eyes and Raph's exaggerating "I think she weighs a little less than Casey as she's shorter than him but also...Yeah...She wouldn't be as easy to lift as April.
As the Turtles discussed this conundrum they had no idea over in nearby Gotham City it was one of those times again where somehow all the rogues in Arkham break out at once! There was some explosion causing a massive home in the asylum wall the various inmates whopped with joy at their good fortune…
However for some of them the joy would be short lived as a few of them had no idea what lay in store for them…
Checking the TMNT and Other Strangeness rule book as it gives stats for most of the canon characters including their weight Casey Jones is 195 pounds so it stands to reason Buttercup could be close to him in weight also...What misfortune awaits certain rogues? We should see soon enough
