Chapter 33: I-Island
Everyone was awaiting the results of the final exams. Some were convinced they scored high enough to pass while others, (ahem, Mina and Kaminari) were nervous.
"Fuck you Narrator!" Mina said.
Aizawa stepped in and everyone immediately started being quiet.
"Well you've gotten better over the book," Aizawa said, "I'm impressed."
Everyone looked at Aizawa as he had papers.
"Luckily nobody failed either portions of the exam, but 4 of you were close to failing," Aizawa said, "If that were to happen, you still would've gone anyway."
"Wait really?" Mina asked.
"We never had plans to separate the pack, that was all a logical deception we used," Aizawa said with his shit eating grin.
"Still, we all get to go!" Toru said with a smile.
"It was a fun exam, really pushed me over the edge," Kenshi said.
"You still did good," Momo said as she kissed his cheek.
"Yagi was cool too!" Mina said, "All those quirks he has at his disposal, whips, flying, some kind of gravity controlling quirk like Ochako's. If I didn't know any better I'd say he was All For One's great great great great great great-"
For comedic effect the sun went up and down.
"...Great great great grandchild," Mina finished.
"Somehow I don't doubt that," Iida stated.
Izuku thought back to a conversation he had with his dad and the principal.
A few days before the exam….
"I see," Nezu said, "so you think they're trustworthy of knowing this secret."
Izuku nodded.
"I figured its best for them to know," Izuku told him, "I've gotten to know them for a long time and I can tell that I can trust them."
All Might nodded in agreement with Izuku's decision.
"Then you can tell them," All Might said, "Just be careful of wondering eyes."
"Got it dad," Izuku said.
Izuku stood up.
"Everyone, I have an announcement to make," Izuku said, "About my quirk."
"Your quirk?" Mina asked.
"So you all know that my father is the No 1 hero," Izuku said, "Well his quirk isn't exactly his own. That specific quirk was given to him before he gave it to me. The true name of this quirk is One For All."
Izuku then explained about the history of the quirk, how All For One trained his brother to be a hero, how the quirk was passed down from person to person, and how he was able to use the quirks of the past users.
"So that explains why you have multiple quirks," Iida said, "And now you've been trusted to wield such a power to become a true hero."
He then bowed in respect to Izuku.
"You have my respect as a comrade and a friend."
"I trust you'll keep quiet about this," Izuku said.
The entire class with the exception of Katsuki, Momo, and Ochako nodded.
"In other news, after the sports festival, I got a pass to I-island, to see the I-expo" Kenshi said, "But I decided to exchange it for tickets for the whole class!"
"You're the best Jojo!" Mina and Kaminari said in unison.
"I-Expo is a very important party in America, where people show off their support items and ways to help out the heroes," Iida stated, "It'll be great to see what they're making now."
"Sure will," Izuku said.
A few days had passed. Class 1A was on a plane going to I-Island. Eri looked out the window.
"Mommy look, I can see it from up here!" Eri said looking down.
Ochako looked down with her and noticed the area, I-Island.
"Its so pretty from up here," Eri told her, "Do you think we'll see a lot of cool things?"
"I don't doubt that," Ochako said with a grin.
"Well I think its gonna be fun," Kenshi said, coming out in his new hero costume.
Momo and Rumi looked at him and were amazed at it.
"He has a really nice hero suit," Momo said.
"I agree," Rumi told him.
"We fucking him later tonight?" Rumi asked.
"Maybe," Momo said.
Izuku was in another room with Toshinori talking about what they were planning to do when they got to I-Island.
"This is gonna be an exhausting day," Toshinori said as he started to buff up, "I'll have to maintain my muscle form for the majority of the time here.
Later on the plane landed, and all of Class 1A went off to explore the many areas of I-Island. Momo took Kenshi over to a huge mall with Kota following. Himiko took Eri somewhere else while Ochako followed. The two of them were planning to let Melissa have some alone time with Izuku.
Kota found himself a hat that he wanted to wear, and Momo bought it for him. Eri saw him and ran over to him.
"Kota we match!" Eri said.
"Huh?" Kota asked.
Eri pointed to the horns on his hat, and then to her horn. Mina noticed this.
"Looks like someone might get a son-in-law in the future," Mina said.
"Its so precious," Momo added.
Eri saw Tsu swimming around in a location for people with water based quirks. She also noticed Tokoyami giving a slight smile.
"Mr Bird, do you like Auntie Tsu?" she asked.
"Uhhh not in that way if that's what you're-"
"He totally likes her!" Dark Shadow said, "Hey Asui! Come over here! Fumi thinks that you're cu-"
Tokoyami covered her beak.
"Cease this behavior at once!"
Izuku was walking with Melissa who was showing him the many sights of I-Island. All Might was walking with them.
"The photos you showed me don't do this place justice," Izuku stated, "Its so amazing!"
"Unlike Japan, people in America can use their quirks however they want," All Might said, "There's multiple areas for you to check out."
"So Izuku, One For All is actually a mixture of various quirks," Melissa said, "One grants you enhanced strength and speed, another that lets you change the density of incoming objects, whips."
"I know, its a lot to handle," Izuku said.
"Well I'm glad you're handling it," Melissa said.
She thought of something.
"I just thought of something!" Melissa said, "Uncle Might do you mind coming with me? If we hurry we can surprise my dad in his lab."
"I would be honored," All Might said.
"A chance to meet David Shield? I'm in!" Izuku said.
Meanwhile in another location, a man was working on something and had someone strapped to a chair. He was doing a few tests on this person.
"And that should do it," he said.
"David?" asked someone walking in, "Still working on this secret project? Why not go and have some lunch or something?"
"I would, but I wanna make a good example for my daughter," David said.
"Well you certainly make a good example alright," Melissa said.
David was surprised to see Melissa standing right before him.
"Melissa, to what do we owe the pleasure?" David asked
"Well since you've finished your big project, I thought I would bring someone to help celebrate." answered Melissa.
"I am here overflowing with emotion for our reunion!" All Might stated.
"Toshi?!" David asked.
"How long has it been?" All Might asked.
"C'mon I feel old enough you jerk!" David said with a chuckle, "Why don't you kids continue exploring the area while I catch up with an old pal?"
"Sure," Melissa said as she took Izuku's hand.
"So what's this about a top secret project you're working on?" All Might asked, "I thought you'd given up on that."
"Oh I did, but this one is different," David said, "Why don't I introduce you."
The door opened, revealing someone who looked very familiar to All Might. All Might was surprised but happy.
"Its you…" he said.
Izuku and Melissa continued walking around I-Island and exploring the area.
"Daddy!" said a familiar snow haired girl, running into his arms.
Izuku hugged Eri and scooped her up to carry her.
"Hey snowball, having fun?" he asked.
"Yea, Mommy Mama and I looked and saw so many areas in I-Island."
"She's certainly having a blast," Himiko said, "And so are we."
They suddenly heard an explosion. Melissa looked and saw it was coming from a specific area. They all rushed over to a spot where people would use their quirks on an obstacle course. Tackling it was Katsuki and Hayate. Katsuki was throwing his explosions while Hayate was letting his Gorilla strength do the talking.
"Whoa didn't think I'd see them here," Izuku said.
"Me either," Kenshi said.
Katsuki saw them and smirked.
"Figured you'd be here Deku Scrub," Katsuki said.
"So what brings you to I-Island Hayate?" Kenshi asked.
"Well, my parents and I were invited, but I don't think they're gonna make it," Hayate said, "But no skin off my nose."
"Dio?" asked a female voice, "Hi sweetie!"
Hayate looked up and saw his parents. He suddenly became excited to see them. He jumped up and went to greet them.
"Mommy! Daddy!" he said.
Kenshi and Momo saw this while sweat dropping.
"Mommy?" Kenshi asked.
"...Daddy?"
"I thought you got into a plane crash and was about to ball my eyes out!" Hayate told them.
Eri turned to Izuku.
"Daddy try out the obpable course,' Eri said.
"Sweetie its Obstacle course."
"Yeah! That's what I said!" She said with her mouth full.
"Don't talk with your mouth full sweetheart," Izuku said.
"I wanna see if you can break my record Deku Scrub," Katsuki said.
"Same to you Jojo," Hayate said.
"Haven't heard that name in a while," Izuku said.
"We have our next contestant!" the announcer said.
Izuku and Kenshi were going head to head. Izuku channeled 45% of OFA around his entire body going Full Cowling. He dashed around the area punching the robots left and right. Kenshi used a fire flower enhancing it with OFA to give him the Liu Kang fire.
"An incredible run!" the announcer shouted, "These challengers punched their way to a tie for first place!"
"Figured they'd tie for first place," Rumi said.
"They are the top students," Tsu said.
Kenshi was eating a rib sandwich. He looked and Tsu and smirked.
"Rib-it,."
Tsu flipped Kenshi off. Eri did the same thing while confused, Kota following suit. Ochako grabbed her hand.
"Eri. Sweetie. Don't do that." Ochako said.
"At least until you're our age," Momo added.
"Yes Mom/Mommy," the kids said in unison.
Later Izuku, Kenshi, Ochako, and Eri were heading back to the hotel. As they were walking, someone wrapped his arm around Izuku.
"Didn't expect to see you here, cousin!" Tenko said.
"Neither did I," Izuku said, "What brings you here?"
"My sister and I are on undercover work," Tenko said, "We heard rumours that someone is trying to find and steal something from I-Island."
"Who is it?" Izuku asked.
"Tomura Shigaraki," Tenko said, "And get this. He's rumored to have more than one quirk. At first I thought he could only decay non-living things, but now I see him creating strange constructs."
"He sounds more dangerous than before," Izuku said, "But believe me, we'll stop Shigaraki."
"Did someone say my name?"
They all turned around to see a man in a well dressed suit, white hair, and black eyes.
"Uhhhh who is this?" Izuku asked.
"Cousin, we have a lot to talk about," Tenko said.
