(A/N): Welcome Edventurers, right now I have a VERY SHORT Chapter of the reboot. Reason why? I used to write Pokémon Edventure 1 chapters REALY SMALL. But anywaysz you'll find out this new rival for Eddy may not look different.

Playerhood18: You may think Zinnia and this new rival may be different, but I'm keeping the personality, not the past of her. Though I did have a few mistakes here and there with Zinnia, but I promise you, I won't mess this up this time.

(Chapter 2): Beginner's Luck

The Eds were in defeat from losing the raffle for free Jawbreakers after all the hard work that they did. They returned home only to find a Professor named Juniper, who offered a vacation for the Eds to go. The Eds accepted as long as no one but their parents hear about this, via secret message by Double Dee. In the event, Ed received Oshawott, Double Dee received Snivy and Eddy received Tepig. From that night, the Eds were happy with their Pokémon as they began happily sleeping near their masters.

[Cul-De-Sac: The Eds]

It was 4 o' clock in the morning, and Double Dee was the first to wake up along with Snivy. Double Dee got up and turned off the alarm clock as he was already dressed and showered last night.

"Well, Snivy. It's time to head out to our new adventure." Double Dee enlarged Snivy's Pokéball.

"(Oh dear...)" Snivy yawned. "(The night was over already? I am still sleepy...)"

"Here." Double Dee returned Snivy back into his Pokéball. "You can rest up here in your Pokéball."

After getting out of his house, not making a sound, Double Dee made it to Eddy's room from his house, with a spare key Eddy's parents had gave him. Double Dee walks into Eddy's room and found him asleep with Tepig, with the Pokémon snorting away in his dreams.

Double Dee lightly shook Eddy and Tepig, which Tepig got up but Eddy didn't.

"Five more minutes, Mom..." Eddy groaned in his sleep.

Tepig realized the day has come as he jumps on Eddy.

"(Wake up! Wake up! Today is the day!)" Tepig wakes up Eddy.

"Oh come on, already!" Eddy got up, and was already dressed.

"Eddy, I believe tomorrow has come today.." Double Dee informed Eddy.

"Already?.." Eddy rubbed his eyes as he returns Tepig back into his Pokéball. "Alright, let's get Lumpy..." Eddy got up and realized that Double Dee found him asleep with Tepig. "You didn't see anything, right?"

"Um, all I see is your room Eddy." Double Dee then gets the idea. "Oh wait, you mean you and Tepig. That's normal, I fell asleep with Snivy."

"Yeah yeah, let's go." Eddy and Double Dee left the house and went near Ed's house, and knocked on the basement window, but no answer. "Geez, somebody's asleep..."

"Allow me, Eddy." Double Dee had opened the window as the two got inside as they saw Ed cuddling his Oshawott in his sleep, as well as Oshawott sleeping along with him. Double Dee chuckled as this was cute. "My, those two get along quite well."

"ED!" Eddy shouted, waking up a jumping Ed and Oshawott as they leaped from their beds and hung onto the ceiling.

Double Dee shushed Eddy as he whispered. "Not so loud, Eddy! You'll wake up Sarah!"

Suddenly there was a loud thud from above.

"ED! KEEP THE NOISE DOWN!" The voice of the bratty girl, Sarah, also known as Ed's baby sister, screeched down the ceiling as Ed quickly recalled Oshawott back into her Pokéball for safety reasons.

Ed suddenly got out a backpack full of things he packed. Some of it includes some bread, a jar of butter, Chunky Puffs, his toothbrush, and some comics.

"All set for takeoff!" Ed saluted in a whisper.

"Excellent! I'll go get my stuff!" Eddy agrees with the idea. "Meet us near the center!"

Eddy leaves Ed's house through the window.

"It's a good thing I packed my stuff before I fell asleep." Double Dee whispered and grinned. "I think I'll go get my stuff as well." He leaves the house from where he came as Ed followed as he squeezed his backpack out the window.

As Double Dee left to his house and got his stuff as well as his backpack, he looked back at the place where he put his note. He sighed knowing his consequences.

"I'll miss you, Mother... Father..." Double Dee looked at Snivy's Pokéball. "I shall be the best professional, like no one ever was..." And with that Double Dee packed up and left his house as well as locking every door, taking his Bag with the items he packed.

Eddy was in his house and packed things he wants and needs on his adventure, like some soda, some cookies, a magazine, and hygiene stuff. Eddy looked at Tepig's Pokéball.

"Today is the day my life would change." Eddy grinned. "And I'll defeat everyone in my way, because nothing will stop me from being champion and winning my Champion's Wish! Me and my Tepig shall dominate anyone who dares come by!"

After the Eds met im the center of the Cul-de-sac with their Pokémon inside their Pokéballs, they were met by a girl who looked... familiar. She was medium height and very thin. She has chin length black hair with a fringe and red eyes, and wore a ragged white cape with black shoulder pads, black sports short shorts, with a leathery skirt over it with a black strap of weaved strings to serve as a belt, a tight black top with two red crescent lunar symbols on her chest, a pair of knee length black sockings and some street shoes much to Eddy's preference of brand, Run 4 Dayz, trademarked by a tire with fancy rims as a logo. She also wore what appeared to be some sort of thick golden neckchain where some sort of stone with a helix inside lies below.

"Nice shoulder pads, chief!" Ed commented, then realized something. "Hey, haven't I made this joke before? And haven't I seen you before in class?"

"Hi there." She waved at the Eds. "I hope you brought everything on this adventure, because it's going to be one heck of a ride. I'm Raven, and I was sent here to retrieve you for Professor Juniper."

"(H - Hi there.)" Said a little Pokémon timidly to the side of Raven. It was mauve, bipedal Pokémon with a spherical body. Its eyes were black and shaped like plus signs, and it has a simple, wide mouth. Two small openings on top of its head act as its ear canals. Covering its ear canals were long, yellow-tipped flaps resembling rabbit ears. It had stubby arms and yellow-tipped feet that lack toes and have plus shaped markings underneath. Above its small, plug-like tail is a yellow, crescent marking, with a hole in the center of it.

Double Dee took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon before Raven.

"Whismur, the Whisper Pokémon. Usually, its cries are like quiet murmurs. If frightened, it shrieks at the same volume as a jet plane."

Eddy whispered loudly. "We gotta get out of here before that thing wakes up everyone in the cul-de-sac!"

"Oh don't worry, Octavio is all under control." Raven pets her Pokémon. The Eds looked, last time they checked it was a Whismur.

"Octavio?" Asked Double Dee.

"Oh yes, Octavio the Whismur." Raven smiled as she keeps petting her Pokémon. "You can nickname your Pokémon, did you know that?"

"Really?" The Eds asked as they looked at their Pokéballs.

Eddy doesn't seem to get it. "Well my Pokémon are fine, just the way they-"

"I can't nickname my baby mermaid princess!" Ed told Raven. "I haven't seen the latest season where they reveal her name yet!"

"Well, despite having a nice names in the original species, I would keep my Pokémon the same." Double Dee shrugged, "But I guess it doesn't hurt to nickname them. Now then, let's see what we can nickname our Pokémon."

Ed got a lightbulb over his head as he looked at it, he takes it and tossed it to the ground, it breaks into different shards of glass, which got Ed thinking. "Crystal! My Oshawott's name will be Crystal, the Baby Mermaid Princess!"

"I guess the name of my Pokémon's name is Chop." Eddy concluded. "Yeah... Chop the Tepig!"

"Do I smell bacon, class?" Ed commented. "Oink!"

Double Dee was still thinking about his Snivy's name. "Snivy has both Plant and Animal Cells... I can name him Cell, but it doesn't make sense..."

"Double Dee, hurry up!" Eddy whispered while yelling.

"Eddy, I can't be pressured and thinking at the same time. I'm trying to find a name that goes with Chlorophyll... Chlorophyll... PHIL!" Double Dee answered. "Phil the Snivy!"

"Alright! Let's go!" Raven answered but the street lamps turned off, scaring Octavio into the playground. "OCTAVIO! NO! Come back!" She runs after her Pokémon.

"Let's go! The adventure awaits!" Ed yelled as he runs and csught up to Raven.

"Ed, wait up!" Double Dee ran after Ed as Eddy followed.

...About a few minutes later...

Octavio was followed through the Playground, then the Forest, which the boys and girl followed through and destroyed every harmful creature, who weren't Pokémon, with tools they aquired from the last adventure. Following through was the Construction Site which Octavio was accidentally dropping drills on the kids, but Eddy tackled Raven out of the way of one as the drill screwed into the wooden foundation.

Raven looked at Eddy, as she got up and Eddy used his jetpack to follow Octavio as he caught Octavio, but landed into the Junkyard.

"Eddy!" Double Dee and Ed shouted in panic.

"Octavio!" Raven shouted also in panic, but also amused of how Eddy got a jetpack and caught Octavio. "We must hurry!"

"He must've landed in the Junkyard!" Said Double Dee. "If so, we got to hurry before they come!"

"Who's they?" asked Raven.

"You don't want to know..." Double Dee alerted Raven as all three ran past construction using the same mechanics in the game, like jumping, sling-shooting dangerous critters, and activating levers.

After 3 levels, everyone made it to the junkyard where they see Eddy and Octavio surrounded in these robots that looked like they can shred anything around, with their grinding sharp teeth and sharp claws as they walk on wheels.

Raven took her Pokédex to scan the robots.

"No Pokémon entry found."

"I should've known.." Raven looked disappointed but worried about Aster as well as Eddy. Octavio began to cry loudly as the robots charged.

Ed took the look of confidence as he took out his Pokéball! "Time to show what my alien monsters can do!"

"Ed, you're seriously not suggesting-!" Double Dee was then interupted as Raven takes out her Pokéball.

(Pokémon Swarm Battle Begin!)

"May the lord guide me!" Raven took a deep breath and threw her Pokéball. "Oshawott! We need you!"

"(Howdy, neighbor!)" Oshawott posed with hands on his hips.

"Raven! Have you lost your mind?!" Asked Double Dee. "Those things will eat your Pokémon alive!"

"Then I must attack with range force!" Raven begins to show the attack process. "Oshawott! Use Water Gun on those monsters!"

"(Time to take out the trash, partner!)" Oshawott blasted some water from his mouth onto the robots which blasted them away and caught their attention as they made their way to Raven's Oshawott.

"Keep attacking with Water Gun!" Raven ordered. Oshawott attacked with Water Gun blasting all of the robots, destroying them.

"Neat!" Eddy was amazed on how the battle worked. Suddenly, a walking trash bag critter arrived.

It was a bipedal Pokémon that resembles a small garbage bag overflowing with trash. Its body was dark green and lumpy. It had two long ear-like appendages atop its head that resemble the knot at the top of a filled garbage bag. It had two small stubby feet. On either side of its body it had a slimy grayish appendage that resembles garbage leaking out from inside. It had large round eyes and a frowning mouth with sharp teeth seen protruding from its upper jaw.

Raven took out her Pokédex and scanned the trash looking creature.

"Trubbish, the Trash Bag Pokémon. Inhaling the gas they belch will make you sleep for a week. They prefer unsanitary places."

"Whoa! That's literally trash!" Eddy said flinching at just the sight of it.

"How unsanitary!" Double Dee brought out his disinfectant and sprayed himself, until the Trubbish ran up to Ed, smelling the muscle of the team. "Oh dear, Ed! Don't get near it!"

"(Hi there.)" The Trubbish looked happily at Ed. "(I remember you. You saved me from those weird barking Pokémon.)" Trubbish recalled Ed closing a door when a dog was about to get him, but Ed pressed a lever and closed the door, while it escaped into the wilderness of the Junkyard.

Ed got to a knee and pets it, making it purr as it gave Ed a spare Pokéball that it made using a hollowed fruit and some discarded cell phones and computers, as well as a few cushions. This Pokéball was black with an orange like with a white outline in the middle right where it could be divided. As it also has a red ring at the top of ball.

"No way!" Raven was amazed. "Did he built that Luxury Ball all on its own?!"

"What?!" Eddy looked at the ball. "Luxury?!"

"A Pokéball built by a Pokémon?" Double Dee was amazed. "Can Pokémon do that?"

"No." said Raven. "I never seen a Pokémon built anything. This must be the first Pokémon to engineer one."

"I remember now!" Ed shouted in remembrance. "It's the Junkyard's Engineer of Planet Trash! I'll call you... Junky!"

"But Ed, you don't own that Pokémon." Double Dee explained to his dumb witted friend.

"Unless you capture it." Raven helped along with a grin.

"What?!" The Eds looked surprised.

"With an empty Pokéball, you can catch up to 6 Pokémon in your team, but the rest will go to the Pokémon Center in a PC. At least from what I remember." Raven explained her knowledge in Pokémon, due to the fact she was just in Unova for a small while then, but that's another story. "All you have to do is weaken the Pokémon and then throw the Pokéball at it."

"What if I don't want to hurt it?" asked Ed.

"If it chooses to follow you, then go for it." Raven finished explaining.

"Junky, would you like to join the army of Alien Monsters?" Asked Ed.

"(You saved my life, and I owe you, so yes!)" Trubbish jumped for joy as Ed throws the Pokéball to Trubbish as sucked in. The ball lands as it moved. One shake... Two shakes... Three shakes... DING! Junky was caught!

Ed picked up the Pokéball. "I caught you, Junky!"

"Very nice.." Ed said sarcastically. "Can we go now before they come and eat us again?!"

"Alright! Onward!" Shouted Raven as she runs with Octavio, using her athletic Physical Education Skills. "Try to keep up!"

"Oh it's on!" Eddy joined the race with Ed laughing all the way.

"Hey, guys! Wait for me!" Double Dee runs after them, but at his physical shape, he was trying his best to follow.

Someone in the shadows of the morning's darkness witnessed everything just as she was trying to find answers.

"(Looks like your heroes are gone, young lady. Heheheh...)" Said a floating ghost over the girl's head.

"Double Dee... No..." The girl looked on as she sounds like she was suppose to have an annoying voice, but sounds like she matured. The sun begins to rise, making the ghost that was haunting the blue haired girl disappear. "For now, I have to warn the others. My sisters must not be involved with this!"

She rushed to the Peach Creek Cul-de-sac and hoped anyone would listen to her, but it's going to be a long trip.
