(A/N): I'm back once more, and I'm sorry that I was too late to uploading anything. And sorry if I sounded a bit too desperate, but I didn't want to let you all fown and keep waiting for me.
And so, here's another chapter based on my simulation.
Shogun Lord Poke Burst: Champ the Riolu was THIS CLOSE to being called Sonic the Riolu, but who knows how much game characters can I make cameos as Pokémon?
Playerhood18: I did some betas of Pokémon Sinnoh, but now, I'm tired of waiting for the next game since it might look like a full remaster, so I'll be putting in an advanced 10 Chapter Story Demo called "The Non-Canon Special Edventures of Sinnoh: Best of Three" Featuring 24 Pokémon Trainers, including The Ed Boys, Diamond, Pearl, Lady Platina, The Stat Trainers, Hareta, everyone in Ed Edd N Eddy and more. Keep an eye put for that.
To Recap:
Eddy fought against Cress in an official Pokémon Gym match. Using Champ (Riolu), Lime (Pansage) and Chop (Tepig), Eddy took the victory even if the surprise Pokémon was present. The Eds then defeated their respective Gym Leaders based on what element their starters were weak against. Rolf experimented with Berries and decided to farm them in some manageable soil pots, but after his last battle Stinger (Weedle) evolved into a Kakuna. Nazz and Jonny met Danny in the Cul-de-sac, as they joined forces to venture through Unova, meeting Chuchu (Pikachu), Evo (Eevee), Charlotte (Tepig) and Zora (Oshawott) as well as meeting Danny's Pokémon which consisted of Meowth, Snivy and Scyther. The adventure continues.
(Chapter 10:): Ed a Dream
[Striaton City: The Eds]
It was not long before the moon shined upon the Striaton City, and that was because the Eds decided to heal their Pokémon with some meals that consisted of Natural Berry recipes, such as the Sitrus Berry Juice, Lum Berry Cakes, and Jellied Leppa Berries. After the Eds paid their checks, they decided to head outside and continue their adventure. And right outside, was a lady in a labcoat. She then ran up to the Eds and delivered a message to the boys.
"Yahoo! I'm Fennel. Professor Juniper asked me to give you something. So come on, follow me!" Fennel led the way to her house that was inside of the city, not too far from their location.
"What is this thing they're going to give us, Double Dee?" asked Ed.
"It's most likely important, or better yet, it will assist us on our exploration of the Unovan Region, Ed." Double Dee replied.
"It better be cash, because we just spent a huge load on the food! And I'm STUFFED!" Eddy pat his stomach.
Ed looked at you with his eyes dilating from focus. "Insert Zarbon moans."
"What?" Double Dee and Eddy looked at Ed awkwardly.
"Um... Over Nine Thousand?" Ed commented awkwardly.
"Ed, wrong crossover." Eddy corrected his dimwitted friend.
The Eds and Fennel walked through the door, and inside was a huge apartment, with a family on the first floor.
"So you guys are out to see all the Pokémon in Unova, eh?" Fennel looked at the Eds with quite the grin on her face.
"I'm meeting all of the Monsters from AROUND THE WORLD!" Ed exclaimed.
"This is a marvelous spacious residence, Fennel." Double Dee commented on Fennel's house with a slight amusement on his face. "Where are we exactly going?"
"Oh! The stairs are over here!" Fennel walked over to a staircase, "My room's above. Going up!"
She walked upstairs as the Eds followed.
"I never seen a house like this!" Ed was amazed.
"This is how they must live the Urban life, huh? This is one big house!" Eddy was amazed.
"Correction: It's an apartment complex." Double Dee shared on top of his knowledge. "Many people reside here in one building, and that's because they either don't have much to take up in one room, or that they need a much cheaper residence that requires less payment when it comes to rent."
"Rent, eh?" Eddy's thoughts flashed as he had an idea to go make a scam about everyone back at the Cul-de-sac, living at a place for a huge amount of money. "Talk about some easy cash!"
The Eds arrived to a room where there were huge vats with pipes connected to a bed and a laptop. Amazed by the science, Ed and Double Dee looked at the mechanism with curiosity.
"Now to REALLY introduce myself! Yes, I'm Fennel. As you can see, I'm a researcher." Fennel pointed to her high school diploma, her college and university degree. "And as for what I research, well, it's all about Trainers!"
"What does THAT have to do with anything?!" Asked Eddy loudly.
"Professor Juniper has been a friend of mine since our college days. So she asked me to help you guys out! That said! I'll start by backing you up with this Hidden Machine!" Fennel pulled out a White Disk with a Flashy cover that glittered in the light. The Eds were surely amazed.
[Ed, Edd & Eddy obtained HM01 "Cut"!]
"Another disk! Let's boogie!" Ed decided to dance to the sounds of waves that emitted zeitgeist moods that instantly made Ed sleepy. He yawned as he waddled with his arms flapping to the bed as he slept on it.
"There are moves that Pokémon can learn to use even outside of battle! That Hidden Machine, Cut, allows you to learn a move that can cut through some trees. Furthermore, Hidden Machines, like Technical Machines, can be used indefinitely! Ain't it great! ...Only thing is, once an HM is learned, it's tough to forget."
"So we must choose wisely with our decision to use this Hidden Machine on our Pokémon..." Double Dee examined the device.
"!ED!" Eddy shouted from the top of his lungs, waking up Ed, and making him leap from the bed. The girl beside the bed was studying Ed's brainwaves, and even giggled at the results (Which was actually him eating a lot of gravy and pudding skins as well as hugging a chicken made out of gravy).
"...So, rather than me assist you, can I ask you to do something for me? Um, on the edge of Striaton City, there's a place called the Dreamyard." Fennel instructed the Eds.
"Isn't that the place where we got our monkeys and fought Raven?" asked Eddy. "There's nothing to do over there!"
"If you can please excuse my companion, what exactly must we accomplish in your request?" asked Double Dee.
"I want some Dream Mist from the Pokémon, Munna, that appears there. And once I have that... we can do a Game Sync! We'll be able to assemble together reports from Trainers all over!" Fennel replied back.
"Consider it complete!" Double Dee shook Fennel's hand. "Come on!"
Double Dee and Eddy walked downstairs, leaving Ed to wake up drowsy as he gargled down a flask of ginger lime cinnamon tea, which was loaded with sugar and caffeine. Ed then walked up to Fennel.
"So Juniper asked you to complete the Pokédex, huh? ...Having to update the Pokédex from time to time can be a hassle." Fennel covered her mouth, "Oops! I said that out loud, didn't I?"
"Don't worry! Your secret's safe with me!" Ed winked at Fennel.
"Go get some Dream Mist from Munna in the Dreamyard! Please! I'm begging you!" Fennel expressed her feelings with the words "please" and "begging".
Ed did some more exploring of the lab and decided to talk to the girl next to the bed and her own PC.
"You're a Trainer?" asked the girl.
"The Pokémon Master, Ed!" Ed expressed himself.
"Well, have you ever used a PC in the Pokémon Center?" the girl questioned Ed once again.
"Yeah! A free computer to download homework and play arcade games like Rocket Slot Machine Simulator and for some reason Operation POOL from the Kids Next Door. They're cheap like Eddy said, that I got the game for free!" Ed was expressing the KND Game about swimming away from the lifeguards while imitating the Kids Next Door's best known character, Nigel Uno, also known as Numbuh 1, with his British Accent. "Alright, Kids Next Door! We must not let these lifeguards take us out of their pool to resume their Adult Swim! We must fight and survive for the sake of kids worldwide! Kids Next Door! Battle Stations!"
The girl giggled. "I'm Amanita, and I manage the storage system boxes. Um... Are you familiar with Battle Boxes?"
"No." Ed replied.
Amanita gave Ed some knowledge. "Oh, they're simple! Battle Boxes are used to register Pokémon you use often in battles! Make sure to use my Battle Boxes! You can record Pokémon on that PC over there if you want!"
"Alright! Time to show that British Baldi's Basics Boy with Sunglasses that I am a true dodger!" Ed cracked his knuckles and was about to punch a key with his fingers.
"ED!" Double Dee and Eddy shouted from the first floor.
"Oops! I must go! Keep my smartness a secret, okay? I cannot let my friends know about my secret Nobel Prize in Astral Physics and my Biocellular Recipe for the cure of cancer! Bye!" Ed ran downstairs as Amanita giggled once more as she was shocked to see a chemical formula that Ed calculated in his mind for a Potion (Which was actually him memorizing the ingredients on the bottle which was Water, a mixture of berries, alcohol, sanitation chemicals, and a fragrance of a Cacnea flower).
[Accumula Town Pokémon Center: Marie, Kevin and Rolf]
"So lemme get this straight." Kevin recapped what happened. "Stinger had glowed and THEN transformed?!"
"That is what Rolf said!" Rolf replied. "After Stinger and Rolf had been testing the berries with weird names of fruit, Stinger changed into this Pokémon!"
"That is called Evolution." Marie replied. "A lot of the Pokémon evolve after some training. Some require special missions or special items to evolve them."
"Evolution, is that so, she who is possessed by Spirit Pokémon?" Rolf looked at his Pokéball that contained Stinger.
"There's no other reason to explain it." Marie shrugged.
"Hmmm..." Kevin began connecting the dots. "Marie, do you think Pokémon become stronger when they evolve?"
"Beats me, all I know is that bigger Pokémon equals a stronger one... usually." Marie shrugged once more.
"Then what if... Bass and Shellshock- as well as your Pokémon- evolved? Then would we be unstoppable?" Asked Kevin.
"Maybe." Marie replied. "I mean, they SHOULD BE stronger Pokémon by the time we reach the Pokémon League, should they?"
"Well, that changes everything..." Kevin smirked. "Get ready, dorks... For the ultimate payback..."
Meanwhile, Wilfred Junior was eating Pig Slob that Rolf made from the Berries, wheat, veggies and water. Ivy and Shellshovk were ready to tease Wilfred Jr as Bass, Stinger and Spirit were watching the scene about to unfold.
"And here I thought that you wouldn't turn into a farm Pokémon. Heehee~" Ivy giggled.
"Looks like the Piggy got to Pig Out! Hahah!" Shellshock made fun of Wilfred Jr.
"And what's THAT supposed to mean?!" asked Wilfred Jr.
"Have you not noticed what farm pigs eat? HELLO?" Shellshock pointed to the slob.
Wilfred Jr looked into his slob that was inside his bowl. Sure, it was food for farm animals, but Wilfred Jr DID find it delicious. It was better than chewing on those dirty pebbles known as Pokémon Food.
"Meh it's much tastier than what you eat." Wilfred Jr rolled his eyes and continued eating his Slob.
"What a pig!" Ivy growled.
Shellshock walked over there and slammed Wilfred Jr's head inside his slob that his face was drenched wet. It may only embarrass Wilfred Jr, if he wasn't going to die from having his interior flames put out. He got up and puffed smoke from his snout. Ivy and Shellshock laughed at Wilfred Jr as the other Pokémon disliked what they did.
"Hey! What was for?!" Stinger hopped to the center.
Bass magnetized a radiator to turn it on, and Spirit brought Wilfred Jr to the radiator to warm him up.
"Get a hold of yourself, wormy!" Shellshock spat on the floor. "That PIG deserved it! He's making the Unovan starters look bad!"
"Did you really think having a Fire Type Pig who acts like a farm critter look good on us Starter Pokémon?!~" Ivy crossed her arms.
"It doesn't matter!" Stinger barked back. "He's on YOUR TEAM! You don't humiliate your own teammates! He may be a pig, but what difference does it make when he's out in battle?! From what I've learned, Fire Types are the greatest offense type of Pokémon! Water is for defense and Grass is for glass cannon! I know for a FACT there's something in Wilfred Jr that you two hate!"
"Of course!" Shellshock replied. "He's a literal pig! I bet I'd get tons of fat from his chubby body!"
Stinger looked back at Wilfred Jr, who was warming up near the radiator with the other two Pokémon who assisted the poor, bullied Fire Type, looked heavily down upon the Grass and Water Type Starters. Even the savage Ghastly had no respect for the two.
"Either get lost or join him, worm bag!" Ivy's tail glowed green as Shellshock puffed his mouth.
"Sensing hostility! Engage fire!" Bass replied and shot arrows of Sonicboom near Shellshock and Ivy.
"Consider yourself lucky, you worm!" Shellshock crossed his arms as the two bullies walked to Marie and Kevin.
"C - Cold..." Wilfred Jr sadly wiggled his snout.
"It's okay, buddy... We'll help you..." Stinger hopped to Wilfred Jr as the Pokémon helped warm up a now sick Tepig.
Wilfred Jr was sad about his fellow Starter Pokémon betraying him and bullying him, but was somewhat content for having the other Pokémon as friends.
"T - Thank you guys..." Wilfred Jr smiled lightly.
[Dreamyard: Ed, Edd 'N Eddy]
As the Eds were reminiscing of how they met their Elemental Monkeys, they found a tree.
"Funny..." Double Dee studied the skinny tree. "It seems that this tree can be cut... ... I know! We can use the Hidden Machine 01! I hope this works!"
"How do you use it?" asked Ed.
"Do we need a Boombox?" asked Eddy.
"This is NOT a music disc!" Double Dee crossed his arms as he frowned. "But I assure you, we can use this Hidden Machine... somehow... If only we can unlock the secrets or whatever mechanism used in these discs... Especially the Technical Machine that the Gym Leaders have rewarded us with..."
Ed look the HM Cut and looked inside his Pokédex, which was starting to collect lint from Ed's jacket.
"Double Dee? What does 'Able' and 'Unable' mean?" asked Ed.
"In terms of this Hidden Machine, I guess it means that some Pokémon can learn the Move while some cannot." Double Dee looked inside of his own Pokédex and studied his own team as he took out a Pokéball. "In this case, we'll probably have to rely on Cream for the use of this Hidden Machine that contains Cut. Problem is.. How do we use it? Cream! We require your assistance!"
Double Dee sent out his Normal Type Pokémon.
"(Huh?)" Cream looked around and heard Pokémon sounds. "(D - Double Dee?... W - What are we doing here?...)"
Double Dee took the HM Cut and placed it on Cream's forehead.
The Machine glowed as Cream's eyes glowed of that color, which was white. Double Dee did it once more with a Technical Machine for Work Up.
[3.. 2... 1... TADA! Cream forgot both Defense Curl and Endure... AND! Cream learned Cut and Work Up.]
"(Oh..)" Cream felt like something changed.
"Alright, Cream!" Double Dee pointed to the tree. "Use CUT!"
"(Oh dear...)" Cream took a deep breath and attacked the tree with one swipe! The tree was sliced into pieces as Cream gasped at her new power. From the looks of it, it looked like the tree was cut by a long sword, but there was no weapon available for anyone to use, nor that anyone else attacked the tree but Cream. "(I... have a sword?!)"
"Whoa!" Eddy was amazed. "That small bunny just grew a thin sword and cut that tree down like paper!"
"Amazing!" Double Dee smiled. "The use of a move actually affects the areas outside of battles!"
"I wish my fingers grew swords!" Ed moped but quickly gained his positivity. "But then again, I'm not a rabbit."
"HEY!" A familiar voice called out from the entrance of the Dreamyard.
Double Dee looked at the figure. "Is that?..."
"Bianca?!" Ed smiled with such glee.
"Hey, guys!" Bianca walked to the Eds. "Are you looking for a mystical Pokémon, too?"
"Mythical Pokémon?" asked Eddy. "Nah, we're looking for some Pokémon that drops this Dream Mist, or something..."
"Who knows? Maybe the Dream Mist Pokémon IS Mythical!" Ed's eyes glittered.
Bianca leaned her head against her finger, which was pressed on her cheek. "I wonder, though... how exactly does this "showing dreams" business work?"
"Showing dreams?" asked Double Dee. "Great heavens... If someone had made a huge discovery of revealing dreams, that would be the most cunning scientific discovery made in history!"
Eddy made a sarcastic remark with Double Dee's sentence.
Suddenly there was a sound over the abandoned house.
"Heyyy...! Didn't you hear some kind of sound behind that wall?!" Bianca asked curiously.
"No, why?" Double Dee and Eddy replied.
Ed walked towards the sound of the noise.
"ED!" The other two Ed boys tried stopping their dull headed friend, until Bianca grabbed both of their hands and dragged them to Ed.
"Hey, c'mon, let's check it out!" Bianca giggled as she found Ed.
Suddenly, a small Pokémon appeared. She was a small quadrupedal tapir-like Pokémon. She has a round pink body with purple flower designs on her back. She had tiny stubby limbs. She floated around without touching the ground and had a small trunk-like snout. She also had a mouth underneath her trunk, and her eyes were ovular and red with small black lashes. For the last detail, she had a pink oval between her eyes and on top of her snout.
"It's a pink piggy!" Ed looked as he was confused, but luckily, he had his Pokedex out as he scanned the Pokémon.
"Munna, the Dream Eater Pokémon. This Pokémon appears before people and Pokémon who are having nightmares and eats those dreams."
"(Hm?...)" The Munna spoke.
Bianca caught up with Ed with the two Ed boys behind her. "Ah! Hold up!"
Suddenly, two trainers appeared behind Munna. They were in fact, Team Plasma Members, one male and one female.
"Found you, Munna!" A grunt smirked.
"Alright, come on! Cough up the Dream Mist!" The other grunt ordered as he kicked the Munna.
"(H - Hello?..)" The Pokémon looked scared.
"Hold on, what?!" Bianca looked at the grunts in confusion. "And just WHO are you? And what're you DOING?!"
"Who are we?" The first grunt answered. "We're Team Plasma, and we're fighting day and night to liberate Pokémon from moronic humans!"
"And what are we doing? Munna and Musharna produce a special mist called Dream Mist that shows you dreams, right? But people want to abuse those Pokémon to make use of it... And if it showed their dreams, it would influence people's hearts!" The second grunt continued as the first grunt kicked the poor Pokémon. This scared the Eds, but Eddy.
"(Owie... ow...)" The Pokémon weeped and cried out.
"Hey! Cough up that Dream Mist!" The grunt who kicked the Pokémon shouted angrily.
"GOOD LORD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Double Dee gasped.
"You're kicking that poor Pokémon just so it'll give you Dream Mist?" Bianca agreed with Double Dee. "That's horrible! Why would you DO that?! Aren't you Trainers, too?"
"Yeah! We're Pokémon Trainers, alright. But unlike you, we're fighting to make Pokémon free!" The second grunt frowned.
"And we WILL free your Pokémon from you! We'll fight you and snatch them away... to liberty! Alright, then... Let us save your Pokémon!" The first Plasma grunt closed in on Bianca as she ran behind the Eds.
"WHAAA?! Help me! Don't hurt Ed, Edd and Eddy!" Bianca hid behind the boys as they posed for a battle. The first one to step up was the male grunt.
"Ed, Edd and Eddy, huh?" the male grunt took out a Pokéball. "I remember you three, back at that town where we held our first speech... What a mockery you three have become, and now, we'll bring you three on board as our prisoners!"
(!PLASMA BATTLE BEGIN!)
(Round 1: Double Dee Versus Plasma Grunt Karls)
"Go! Patrat!" The grunt summoned out his Pokémon.
"Hey, Double Dee! Care to try out that new move on that mouse thingy?!" Eddy pointed to Cream.
"As science intended it to be, I can see why not." Double Dee stepped up against the grunt. "Allow this experiment to teach the ways of justice formed on rowdy criminals. And I doubt you'll like the outcomes of your consequences... Let's go! Cream!"
"(O - Okay...)" Cream stepped up, not trusting Double Dee for this battle.
"(Hey there, young carrots!)" The foe's Patrat smirked. "(Ready to go back to where you came from?!)"
"(P - Please don't hurt me...)" The rabbit Pokémon shivered.
"Patrat! Tackle attack!" Grunt Karls shouted out.
"Counter it with your Cut attack!" Double Dee ordered his Pokémon.
"(Take this, little dog food!)" Patrat charged headfirst for Cream.
"(I'm so sorry for this...)" Cream feared for the worst as she struck Patrat with a blade motion that seriously hurt the Pokémon! It was a critical hit and a one hit KO!
"(What was that?...)" The Patrat fainted and retreated to Karls.
"(I warned you! But you never listened!)" Cream shouted at the enemy's side.
"Amazing!" Eddy clapped his hands twice as he watched from the sidelines.
"PLASMAAAAA! T-The dreams...!" Grunt Karls shouted out.
(Round 2: Ed Vs Plasma Grunt Bells)
"Guess he underestimated you as just some brat, huh? Whatever. I'm next! Let's go! Purrloin!" The female grunt posed for battle and summoned her Pokémon, which was a simple but rare, Purrloin.
"Whatever... You're up, Ed!" Eddy yawned from boredom. "Entertain me with these BORING trainers."
As much as Eddy would like to play the hero, he got tired of fighting Patrat, Lillipup and Purrloin over and over again.
"Come on out! Baby Princess Mermaid! Crystal!" Ed summoned his starter Pokémon.
"(H - Here I go!)" The Water Pokémon shivered in shyness, but prepared for battle.
"(Oh dear! Another softie?!)" The Purrloin licked her paws.
"(Is that a threat?)" asked Crystal.
"(This is why people prefer cats over any other creature...)" The foe's Pokémon shook her head.
"Crystal! Attack with Water Gun!" Ed ordered.
"Cover it with Sand-Attack!" Grunt Bells ordered.
Crystal blasted water from her mouth onto Purrloin that the Sand-Attack did not work and the Water Type attack was another critical hit.
(Don't ask why, this was so accurate to the simulation. Ed and Double Dee were SUPER LUCKY to one-shot both Pokémon.)
"And we win!" Eddy pointed his hand over to the Eds and Bianca, who was done cowering from the sight of battle and cheered on for the Eds.
"PLASMAAAAA! This is a nightmare!" Grunt Bells growled angrily.
"It's over!" Eddy crossed his arms and walked to the other Eds.
"...I can't BELIEVE we both lost! But we HAVE to get the Dream Mist! Hey! Gimme some Dream Mist!" The Male Grunt kicked the Munna out of desperation and fear.
"Stop it!" Bianca cried out as Ghetsis... teleported in?!
"GHETSIS?!" The Eds and the two grunts were surprised.
"...What foolishness is this?" A... second Ghetsis teleported in? "We of Team Plasma are to separate foolish humans from Pokémon! If you cannot accomplish that duty...!"
"W-What's this...?! Isn't that Lord Ghetsis...? The one who was giving that speech to fool everybody?!" The Male Grunt asked the Female Grunt.
"Right... and since we screwed up our plan... Lord Ghetsis is going to punish us good...!" The Female Grunt shivered in fear.
"W... Well, let's go apologize really quick and maybe he'll forgive us!" The two grunts fled the scene, dropping their money. The two Ghetsis illusions left the scene, faded away.
Suddenly, there was a call from a bigger Pokémon.
The Pokémon was a round-bodied Pokémon that resembled a tapir, just like Munna. She had a long snout, closed eyes, which Ed could imagine her eyes being red like Munna's, small pink dots below her eyes and an ovular opening between her eyes that emitted a thick plume of purple mist while it slept, continuing a long wave around her body. The upper half of her body was pastel light pink, and her lower half was violet. She had stubby arms and legs with pink tips. She was also levitating, just like Munna, but unlike Munna, she was at a fetal position.
Ed got out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.
"Musharna, the Drowsing Pokémon. The mist emanating from their foreheads is packed with the dreams of people and Pokémon."
"(My baby!)" Shouted Musharna.
"(Mama!)" Munna nuzzled against her mom, happily.
"Piggies!" Ed happily saw the two Psychic Type Pokémon.
Bianca looked confused. "...What was all that? That Ghetsis guy was, like, in two places at once... that wasn't real, was it? ...Maybe it was a dream? And that Pokémon..."
"Maybe it was just an optical illusion casted forward by some mystic force?" Double Dee replied. "Who knows?"
"WHOA!" Fennel ran into the scene. "I couldn't wait any longer, so I just came anyway! And is it just me, or is that Musharna?!"
"(Coming with me, sweetie?)" Asked Musharna.
"(Yes, Mama!)" The Munna agreed as they left the scene and dropped an item. But before they left the scene completely, they bowed politely to Double Dee and Ed, earning a smile from Ed.
"What happened?" Fennel examined the scene as there waa hard footprints on the grass.
"Oh, Fennel. Um, well, there was Munna... but then some guys from Team Plasma came and kicked it..." Bianca explained. "Then Musharna came... and then we saw something that might've been a dream? And then the Plasma guys ran, and..."
"Really gotta workout your vocabulary and your speaking of sentences, Bianca." Double Dee scratched his scalp as he looked towards Bianca.
"...I see. Musharna is the Pokémon that evolves from Munna. It saw its friend Munna was in a pickle, so it used its power to make a dream into reality and save Munna." Fennel left the scene, happily running and giggling all the way out.
"Whew... That was all... totally hairy and stuff." Bianca sighed as she wiped a sweat from her brow. "Ed Boys, would you go to Fennel's house? Me? I'm going to look for that Pokémon we saw!"
"Are you sure you're going to be okay, all alone?" asked Ed.
"Yes, Ed." Bianca smiled at her new dull headed friend. "I'll just capture some more Pokémon.
"Eh, whatever tickles your fancy. Come on!" Eddy led the way out.
Double Dee followed Eddy as Ed looked towards Bianca and slowly left the scene.
"Phew..." Bianca sighed. "What a night... ... You know what would fit my team? A Psychic Type! Those can defeat Poison and Fighting Types along the way! And who knows?! Maybe then, I'll defeat Eddy!"
[Fennel's Room/Apartment: The Eds]
"TADAAAH!" Fennel presented to the Eds as the machine worked. "Thanks to you getting me the Dream Mist... We can now collect records from Trainers all over! I'm truly thankful! As an expression of my thanks, I'll let you use the C-Gear! The C-Gear is a device that uses wireless infrared communication, or Wi-Fi, to connect you to others."

All three Eds allowed the communication to begin.
"Look! Upon booting up the C-Gear, a screen appears! Touch the question mark in the lower-left corner of the screen to read an explanation of the C-Gear. And now, the Game Sync, the system used to collect Trainer reports... Do you want me to do a little explaining of the system?" Asked Fennel with a joyous face.
Ed and Eddy were looking everywhere while Fennel was talking.
"Yes, please!" Double Dee nodded.
"A Game Sync utilizes Dream Mist to produce the memories of a sleeping Pokémon! That's right! And reports from Trainers worldwide can assemble together! And there's something even more incredible! Game Syncing allows you to see the dreams of a sleeping Pokémon! Just put a Pokémon to sleep with Game Sync... And that Pokémon's dream is made reality in a place in the center of Unova called the High-Link! Game Syncing is just astounding, isn't it?! Your interest is not only piqued, but peaked, I'm sure? "Oh, Trainers!" Amanita walked up to the Eds. "I'm big sis's assistant. I'm very grateful to you! This is from me. It's alright, you can have it."

"You can connect over Wi-Fi with the friends you record in that notebook. Connecting with them allows you to enjoy Pokémon matches and Pokémon trading." Amanita explained happily. "Now, a quick explanation on how to record friends. Use the Pal Pad in your bag's Key Items pocket and directly input your friend's code... Or, using the C-Gear's IR communications, simply record them straight away!"
"Alright, let's get going!" Eddy led the way out, until they noticed someone missing. "Ed?!"
Ed was asleep on the Dream Bed with the Link to Entralink on.
"Ed?" Double Dee tried shaking Ed awake.
"Oh dear." Amanita giggled. "It looks like your friend has been linked to the Center to Unova, by dream. I guess he'll be like that until the morning. I guess you can join him in his sleep?"
"How do we do that?!" asked Eddy.
"It's simple." Amanita pressed the buttons to link Double Dee and Eddy to sleep next to Ed's bed to link to the Center of Unova. "Sweet dreams."
[Entralink/Nintendo World: The Eds]
The Eds woke up in a Carnival in the sunshine with party lights glittering from the trees near the beach.
Ed happened to be near two girls in bikinis who looked like cousins and pop stars, talking about some memories.
"Then, he fell into the machine, got squeezed out and yelled 'I am a weiner'!' Ed told the story of Rolf's weiner machine, and the two girls giggled.
"You're so funny, isn't he, Marie?!" The girl in pink asked her cousin loudly, as her cousin in green was giggling lightly, covering her rare smile.
"He sure is amusing, Callie." Marie replied.
"Ed!" Double Dee and Eddy ran up to Ed and the two girls.
"Oh, hi guys!" Ed got up and showed them to Callie and Marie, also known as the Squid Sisters from Splatoon. "These are my friends, Double Dee and Eddy!"
"U - Um, hi..." Double Dee waved to the Squid Sisters shyly.
"Helloooooo girls!" Eddy flirted with the girls, who ignored it.
"Nice friends, Ed!" Callie pat the huge giant.
"Thank you- OW!" Ed got hit with a Boomerang.
"Sorry, pal!" Shouted a young man with a blue shirt and cream yellow pants.
"It's okay, Link! I forgive you! Here, catch!" Ed tossed the Boomerang at Link as he caught it.
"Mamamia!" Mario said from afar.
"Wow! What a dream!" Eddy looked around, amazed.
"This has GOT TO BE a paradise!" Double Dee looked everywhere, in such a vibe.
"A REAL vacation!" Eddy ran around in the sand as Waluigi and Samus were playing Volleyball, and Eddy joined in.
"Poyo!" Kirby flew by on the Warp Star as he shared some items with the Eds.

"Come on!" Ed grabbed his two friends' hands and took them deeper into the party. "The Summer Curry Cook off is about to begin! I can't wait to show them my Sweet and Spicy Gravy Steak and Buttered Toast Curry!"
