Chapter 2: Discussing Yule Ball Dates
Harry had a big smile on his face as he lay on his bed in the 4th year Gryffindor Boys Dormitory. Moments ago, he encounters Cho Chang (a 5th year Asian Ravenclaw girl who he has a crush on) at the Owlery while checking up on Hedwig and Cho was checking her black and grey Spotted Owl named Momo. He used this opportunity to ask her to the upcoming Yule Ball and she accepted his offer with a smile.
"You seemed pleased with yourself." Ron said
"Well, of course Ron today I asked Cho Chang to Yule Ball, and she responded with a yes." Harry said elated
"Wow congrats mate." Ron praised
"Yeah, I'll say Harry well done." Neville chimed in
"Nice job Harry." Dean said praising Harry
"Chang is quite the bird Harry." Seamus said
"Thanks guys." Harry said to his dormmates he then looks at Ron and asks, "So Ron who did you ask to the Ball."
"I asked Lavender Brown today while you were in the Owlery." Ron answered
"Lavender Brown the one with the big tits and is a complete ditz." Harry said
"Yeah, that's her but she's that much of a ditz as people claim that she is one." Ron replied
"Unlike a certain somebody who claims to be so smart but they're not." Harry growled referring to Hermione (his and Ron former best friend.)
"I know what you mean." Ron agreed
"Anyway. Dean who did you asked to the ball?" Harry asked Dean.
"Oh, I asked Parvati to the ball when we had Charms class." Dean replied
"Lavender's bestie nice" Harry praised
"Yeah, her she's good at potions and divination." Dean said
"Okay not bad Dean." Ron said
"Seamus who did you ask to the ball?" Harry asked
"Oh, I asked Susan Bones to the ball today after Herbology class." Seamus replied
"Susan Bones isn't her aunt the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement?" Ron asked
"Yeah, she's been looking into the Potter's case for years." Neville chimed in "As well the incident that happened last year."
This intrigued Harry after what happened last year with his confrontation with Sirus and learning that Peter Pettigrew was the one who betrayed his parents thirteen years ago. As well as wanting to live with Sirius and finally be away from his nasty relatives.
"Hey Neville, how do you know all of this?" Harry asked
"My gran told me about it." Neville replied, "Why do you ask?"
"No reason." Harry said then changes the subject and asks, "Who are you taking to the ball Neville?"
"Well, I'm taking Daphne Greengrass to the ball." Neville answered
Harry, Ron, Dean, and Seamus were taken aback at Neville said about who he was taking the Yule Ball they were expecting someone like Ron's sister Ginny or Luna Lovegood, but not Daphne Greengrass a Slytherin. Not only that she is one of the hottest girls in the school with wavy jet-black hair, a Venus-like body, and blue eyes an ice queen one look from her icy blue eye would freeze you and made you look like you got castrated. She was almost untouchable until Neville apparently got her as Yule Ball date.
"Neville how in the bloody hell did you ice queen Greengrass as your date?" Harry asked
"Well, Harry, I knew her since the Ministry Formals I use to go to." Neville answered with a smile "She needed help with her Herbology, and she defended me from Snape."
"Wow okay umm Daphne is quite the bird" Harry approves Neville's date cautiously
"Damn Neville, I can't believe you of all people going with a Slytherin." Ron said
"Don't worry Ron Daphne is a nice person once you get to know her." Neville assured him
"Fine let's go to bed we'll talk about it in the morning." Ron said going to sleep
"Okay night" Harry said putting his glasses on his bedside table
Dean, Seamus, and Neville followed suite into going to bed for tonight excited to go to the yule ball on the 22nd of December this year.
