Hey folks! Welcome back to "Through the Rough"! I hope the wait hasn't been too long for you all. By the time this chapter's out, I'm sure that My Hero Academia is already finished, along with Edens Zero. Trust me, I've got a lot of ideas for this season being cooked up.

Anyways, we left off finishing up the World Heroes' Mission Arc, along with a tease of a certain something leading into the next arc… I think it's about time I stop holding out on you and just get started. Hope you enjoy!

THROUGH THE ROUGH

Well, well… did you honestly expect me of all people to NOT talk about this tale? I know this is Izuku's story to tell, but I just can't help myself… It's going to be so delicious!

Ahem. As the heroes celebrate their victory over Humarise, there still lurks a looming threat on the horizon. The League of Villains, or now the Paranormal Liberation Front, is plotting their conquest come April. That coincides with the completion of Tomura Shigaraki's perfected body. If nothing is done about this, the whole world may be doomed…

Fortunately, the heroes have insight into what lies ahead. Thanks to Hawks' infiltration of the villains' ranks, he's been able to secretly relay updates to Endeavor. And in turn, the Flame Hero has worked to gather as many heroes as possible for a preemptive strike. That's all been behind the scenes as we don't need to sweat the small details. A lot's happened within the months leading to this…

And that includes quite the spicy development…

"Now… it's your turn…"

"AH!" Rebecca gasped as she sat up with the covers of her bed, startled awake. A couple quick breaths left her lips before she calmed down, sighing. Nightmares weren't uncommon. Whenever her dreams turned out to be visions of the future, she just took them in stride. But now… something was different.

'That voice was… All For One…' she realized, clutching the covers in her hands. Between what she dreamt of and what was reality, it was difficult to tell them apart. And that frustrated her for sure.

"Mmm…" a voice moaned out beside her, getting her attention as she turned to her left, widening her eyes a little. Next to her was none other than Izuku, littered with red marks all along his shoulders and neck as he didn't seem to be wearing anything under the covers. The Cat Leaper Quirk user blinked twice before letting off a smile.

"I almost forgot…" she admitted aloud, sighing happily. Last night… was probably one of the most magical times she ever had with her boyfriend. Sure, it was going to be special considering the circumstances. But even Rebecca couldn't have known how good it'd feel. She quietly got out of bed, getting herself dressed in a simple t-shirt and sweatpants.

'Should probably get him some clothes…' she concluded inwardly. At that moment, she heard a quiet knock at the door, making her flinch.

"Rebecca, you there?" Kyoka's voice echoed from the other side of the door. The Cat Leaper Quirk user sighed with relief, heading over to open it up a few inches to see her friend there.

"Hey Kyoka…" she whispered in greeting, stepping out and gently closing the door behind her, "Thanks for helping get Mina and Toru away so they wouldn't go crazy over Izu being here…" she said gratefully.

"Hey, it's no big," the Earphone Jack Quirk user assured, "Besides, I'm sure they're happy with having a slumber party with Asui and Uraraka," she mentioned with a shrug, "So… how'd it go?" she asked curiously with a blush forming upon her cheeks. Rebecca went a bit red herself at the question, but then gave off a tiny smile.

"It was great," she replied, "I don't know if it was because we were kinda heading in that direction or were waiting to get things going for a while…" she started to explain, "but it just felt… so great," she affirmed happily. Kyoka hummed a little, twirling her cable-like left earlobe in her fingers.

"And what about Midoriya?" she questioned, causing Rebecca to blink in confusion, "How'd he feel?" she inquired on.

"I'm sure he felt the same way," the Cat Leaper Quirk user answered confidently, "That reminds me, I need to go get him some clothes," she realized, "Although sneaking up to his room's gonna be a pain, especially with Minoru and Yuga there…" she noted on. At that moment, she overheard a rustling from inside her room.

"Sounds like someone's up," Kyoka noted. Opening her door, Rebecca blinked in surprise to find that her bed was now empty. Along with that, her boyfriend's clothes were gone. The only thing left was a small, folded piece of paper on the nightstand. Going over to pick it up, the Cat Leaper Quirk user saw a note inside.

Don't worry about getting clothes for me. I'll just sneak back to my room by the balcony. Last night was amazing for me too, Rebecca. I'm glad we got to spend that time together.

-Izuku

"Oh, Izu…" Rebecca sighed with a smile as a warm spring breeze washed over her from the open window.

OPENING

Insert "SPECIALZ" by King Gnu

Opens with the dawning sky as several heroes gather together, walking side by side as they approach Jaku City. Leading them is Endeavor, followed by Justice, Holy, Eraser and Mirko. We also see the likes of Ryukyu, Present Mic, Eraser Head, Witch, and Sister. As they approach the hospital, watching from afar are Izuku and Rebecca, who both have sweat nervously trickling down their bodies as they help with evacuations in the city.

We switch to a scene of the many villains of the Paranormal Liberation Front, with Tomura at the back, lying dormant in a vat as he awaits the day he'll be unleashed upon the world. Both Deadend Crow and Gigantomachia tower over everyone as they both grin ominously. We get shots of Shura, Ijuna, Maria, Spinner, Himiko, Compress, and Fie. Twice is seen on the floor crying his eyes out as he's surrounded by Hawks' feathers. However, blue flames spew into the room, coming from a sadistically grinning Dabi. We see Feather fly onto the scene to try and help, but she's suddenly ambushed by a laser beam piercing through her abdomen, coming from a figure lurking in the shadows.

Several Nomu in the hospital emerge, as the heroes all battle them back. Holy melts down two of them before Eraser erases a chunk of another. Justice uses his Grand Chariot to finish off even more, while the others continue ahead. Mirko arrives at Doctor Garaki's lab, only to wind up getting knocked aside. She looks over, widening her eyes to see the High-End Nomu that've just been released.

We cut to the city as the young heroes are helping evacuate people. Suddenly though, a wave of decaying destruction is about to wash over them. Izuku and Rebecca quickly work with the others to get everyone out of there, all while sensing the ominous presence of All For One. Back in the hospital, we see Tomura emerging from his vat, willing himself to life before instantly decaying a hero beside him. His eyes flash brightly before he fires lasers from them, followed by decaying everything in sight with just a simple touch.

There are various scenes of the heroes outside Gunga Villa making their move, Laguna and Hitoshi coming face-to-face with Nero, Shoto and Homura hurriedly following their comrades, and finally, Katsuki glancing back at Izuku and Rebecca. He flashes through distinct memories of the couple throughout their childhood, knowing that Rebecca is more of a true friend to the One For All inheritor than he'll ever be. He snaps away from those thoughts, needing to blast himself away from the incoming decay wave.

As the opening winds down, we see Tomura standing at the epicenter of his decay wave, donning a cape as he gives off a sadistic grin. We get scenes of Acnoella, Crow, Shura, Elsie, and Nox, completing the Oracion Seis. As the heroes stand to face off against the greatest evil known to Japan, so too do the villains…

END OPENING

"Hmm…" Endeavor hummed curiously from his office, looking at the highlighted paragraphs from the book Hawks had given him. He had understood most of what the Wing Hero had warned him about through his coded messaging. And already, he was doing his part as a leader to gather heroes in order to prepare. But something was bothering him. The doors to his office then opened. He looked forward. "About time you showed up," he muttered out, seeing Feather enter.

"I hadn't expected you to reach out to me so suddenly," she admitted as she approached his desk, "I suppose my Quirk may not be working properly," she remarked with a shrug. The Flame Hero rolled his eyes.

"If you're done joking, I wanted to speak with you," he confirmed, closing the book and sliding it forward. The Eye of Venus Quirk user took it into her left hand.

"Meta Liberation…" she read, "I've seen this publication being displayed," she recalled, "Are you a part of this cause, Endeavor?" she presumed curiously.

"Hardly," the Flame Hero muttered in response, "I was given this book by Hawks," he confirmed, causing the I.U.A. Hero to perk up in surprise, "In it is a coded message warning us of an event occurring almost a month from now," he mentioned as she opened the book, scanning the contents immediately, "From what I can gather, Hawks apparently infiltrated the ranks of an enlarging villain group, keeping tabs on them and more than likely, making certain that we'll be able to strike when necessary," he explained further.

"I can see the message…" Feather confirmed as she read on through each page, "And you've already gone and made preparations?" she assumed.

"Yes, but there's a bit of a problem I noticed a little while ago," Endeavor noted in reply, "Page one-fifty-six," he said, enticing the I.U.A. Hero to flip through the pages before reaching the one in question.

"Another spy… allegiance unknown…" she read, "Name is… Cure?" she uttered before blinking in surprise, looking up at the Flame Hero.

"One of your own's involved in this ordeal from the sound of it," he noted, folding his arms over his chest, "However, I won't be rushing to judgment," he assured, "It's possible that he's just doing his own mission like the rest of the Oracion Seis Interstellar," he pointed out.

"Yes… that could be the case," Feather responded, "Cure's focus is on Poseidon Nero, and I have no doubt that this Meta Liberation Army would be a cause he would fall under," she added thoroughly, "Still… I don't want to make accusations," she admitted.

"I wouldn't want you to, either" Endeavor replied, "Not until we have confirmation of his allegiance," he mentioned, "I'm sure Hawks is keeping a close eye on him," he affirmed confidently.

"Then why let only me know?" the Eye of Venus Quirk user asked.

"Because I know that I can trust you," the Flame Hero answered to her surprise, "Just make sure you're ready when the time comes," he advised, "It won't be long before we need to make our move," he confirmed. Feather nodded. Moments later, she left the agency. She deployed the wings of her jetpack before flying off into the distance. Her eyes narrowed in deep thought.

'Keigo… please don't get yourself hurt…' she pleaded inwardly.

"AHCHOO!" the Wing Hero sneezed loudly from a room as he was in the middle of drawing on a whiteboard with a marker, "Whoa, that came outta nowhere…" he muttered in admittance.

"You getting a cold?" Twice asked worriedly from nearby, "Don't spread germs!" he yelled in a frustrated tone of voice.

"Don't worry, I'm good," Hawks assured in reply, "Just a sign of the times changing," he pointed out, "Spring's on the horizon, and so's the liberation of this country," he remarked as he finished his sketch, "After that, it's smooth sailing," he affirmed on.

"I hear that!" the Double Quirk user agreed, "Maybe then you won't be too cooped up with working as a hero!" he suggested, earning a laugh from the Wing Hero. Inwardly, he was tense.

'I should be keeping an eye on Cure, him being an unknown and all…' he admitted to himself, 'But what I do know about Twice, or Jin Bubaigawara…' he continued, 'is that he's got the potential to be the most dangerous villain of the Paranormal Liberation Front,' he noted through his thoughts, imagining the masked villain using his Quirk to not only make copies of himself, but also copies of things like the Nomu. It would be next to impossible to try and stop him. 'Lucky for us, we've got our aces in the hole…' he affirmed inwardly.

"Ahchoo!" Fumikage sneezed out in a clearing on U.A.'s campus.

"Whoa, you alright?" Eijiro asked, standing beside him as they were both dressed in their P.E. clothes.

"Yes, just my mucus membranes acting up again…" the Dark Shadow Quirk user responded, shaking his head, "I'll admit, I wasn't expecting the warm air of spring to come upon us so soon…" he admitted aloud.

"Well, it makes a perfect day for training!" his redheaded classmate affirmed, smacking his fists together. The two of them were watching a sparring match between Weisz and Shiki, with the former donning his Arsenal armor as he sped about, keeping pace with his opponent. Elsewhere on campus, the girls of Class A were out on a morning jog together, with a ponytailed Rebecca leading the way.

"Wow, Rebecca!" Ochaco chimed in as she jogged up beside the Cat Leaper Quirk user, "You look like you're glowing today!" she remarked.

"Glowing?" Momo repeated in confusion.

"Meaning she looks pretty good," Tsuyu replied for her.

"Ooh, I bet I know why~…" Mina teased in a singsong voice, causing Rebecca to grimace.

"Did something happen with you and Midoriya last night?!" a visible Toru inquired excitedly. Kyoka used her earlobe jacks to yank the Acid Quirk user back by her left arm, while Tsuyu wrapped her tongue around the Invisible Quirk user's waist, pulling her away.

"Can we not do this when we're trying to get a workout in before chilling out for the day?" the Earphone Jack Quirk user requested.

"There's no need to go teasing Bluegarden," Momo chimed in seriously.

"Aw, you're all no fun…" Mina complained, while Toru pouted a little with puffed cheeks. Rebecca giggled, grateful to not need to indulge her classmates' antics. At that moment, she blinked in realization.

"Hey, where's Homura?" she asked curiously. The others looked around in surprise, having not seen the Soul Blade Quirk user amongst them. Kyoka then looked back and let out a sigh.

"There she is…" she muttered as she pointed. The other girls glanced over. Lying face down on the ground and groaning was Homura.

"HOMURA?!" Ochaco, Rebecca, Mina and Toru screamed out. Moments later, the Soul Blade Quirk user was sitting down on a bench, guzzling a bottle of water she had been given as her female classmates were around her.

"Huh…" she exhaled after finishing the bottle, "Forgive me, everyone…" she apologized ashamedly, "It seems my tolerance to the heat has worsened with the start of spring…" she noted aloud.

"Seriously?" Mina said with an arched eyebrow, "It's not even that hot out…" she mentioned as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"I would've thought doing a work study with Todoroki and Endeavor would fix the issue…" Kyoka admitted while twirling her left earjack in her fingers.

"Yes, that seems rather odd…" Momo agreed, having a concerned look upon her face.

"I assure you, my latest intolerance to heat has nothing to do with either of them," Homura affirmed to the group's surprise, "You see, I'm attempting to master another secret technique from Valkyrie," she told them.

"A secret technique?" Toru repeated as she blinked.

"You mean like the Odin Strike?" Tsuyu assumed with her right pointer finger upon her cheek.

"Yes, but with much more power," Homura replied, holding out her right hand and closing it into a fist, "The current drawbacks will mean nothing once I've harnessed that that technique," she affirmed confidently, "You should all know that I'm not just aiming to surpass my master," she noted to her friends, who all blinked in surprise, "I'm aiming to surpass all of you as well," she confirmed. Hearing that, Rebecca gave off a smile.

"Guess that means we're all aiming for the top together," she remarked.

"Yeah!" Ochaco agreed, while the others nodded. Around the campus, the other students of Class 1-A were hard at work, perfecting their moves and practicing extensively with their Quirks. With the second year of their time at U.A. on the horizon, no one could afford to rest on their laurels.

"Dammit, stop moving around!" Katsuki roared out angrily, blasting himself around the trees in pursuit of Izuku, who swung about with the Blackwhips protruding from the sights of his gloves. Watching them from afar was All Might. He saw the Explosion Quirk user blasting through the brush, closing in on his rival. However, the One For All inheritor saw him coming, landing on the side of a tree before jumping to get behind him. "Ah!" he gasped out before finding himself ensnared in the dark energy tendrils, binding his arms to his sides as he gritted his teeth.

"Huh…" Izuku exhaled as he landed down, letting go of Katsuki as his Blackwhips retracted.

"Nicely done, Young Midoriya!" All Might complimented as he approached, clapping his hands, "You've gotten much better at control with Blackwhip," he pointed out to his successor, who beamed brightly, "And your ability to be perceptive's gotten better as well," he mentioned.

"Thank you, All Might!" Izuku exclaimed gratefully with clenched fists.

"Humph," Katsuki scoffed as he dusted himself off with his left hand, "You copying crap from those damn movies doesn't mean you're getting any better than me…" he muttered out in claim, "You just caught me off guard," he grumbled on, crossing his arms over his chest and turning his gaze away.

"You would say something like that…" his rival responded with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh right, you're still watching those pre-Quirk era movies," All Might recalled, "That's how you got the inspiration for how to best use Blackwhip?" he assumed of his successor, who nodded.

"Having that visualization really made it easy to pull together," he affirmed, "Still, I've got a long way to go," he admitted, giving off a serious expression, "Aside from getting ready for Float, I've still got the other four Quirks left to start thinking about using," he pointed out.

"Always thinking ahead," All Might remarked, "But take it easy for a little while, Young Midoriya," he advised to Izuku's surprise, "You've got the second year coming up after all," he mentioned.

"Right," the One For All inheritor replied with a nod, jogging off soon after. Katsuki watched him go.

"So…" he began, turning to the former pro hero, "he's almost there, huh?" he assumed.

"I would say so, even if he doesn't believe it himself," the teacher confirmed in reply, "The boy's gotten so much stronger over the past few months, so it's only natural that he's on such a threshold," he noted on. The Explosion Quirk user narrowed his eyes.

"That also means he's going to be a target again…" he mentioned.

"Don't worry," All Might said, "All For One is locked away for good," he assured, "And I've been hearing word that the heroes are working to track down the League's remains," he added further, "They had a breakthrough recently in coming up with a location," he pointed out.

"So there's gonna be a move soon?" Katsuki guessed, looking back to where his rival had jogged off, "Why do I get the feeling that's not a good thing?" he wondered aloud.

X

"Hmmm…" Himiko hummed out, lying on a sofa with her arms folded behind her head while having an annoyed expression upon her face.

"What's the matter, Himi?" Maria asked, getting her attention as she was sitting across from her with Spinner, "You've had that look on your face for months…" she pointed out while taking a lick of a lollipop she had.

"Ugh… it's Jin…" the Transform Quirk user grumbled as she sat up and put her hands on her knees, "He's getting super tied up with that Hawks guy and doesn't have a lick of time for any of us…" she noted.

"Twice was the one who volunteered to help come up with our plan in the next month," the lizard-like man chimed in, "Not to mention like us, he's one of the commanders for the army," he added on. Himiko puffed her cheeks.

"Oh, don't be like that," Maria insisted, "Tell you what, I'll get freaky bangs to have Twice take some time off to hang with us," she decided.

"Really?!" Himiko exclaimed excitedly, "Ooh, then we can do some stuff in the arcade downstairs later!" she suggested, hopping to her feet and skipping off while humming happily.

"That sure changed her mood…" Spinner remarked, glancing over to the Slime Quirk user, "And you seem to be in a better mood, too," he mentioned.

"Nah, I'm just content," Maria claimed in reply as she took another lick of her lollipop, "Honestly, it's more about having people I can trust around me," she pointed out, "That includes Himi… and you," she confirmed.

"M-Me?" the lizard-like man stuttered out, blushing a little, "I… uh… don't know if…" he stammered on, twiddling his thumbs. The Slime Quirk user chuckled.

"Hey," she said, putting her left hand atop his, causing him to blink in surprise as he looked at her, "You're all good," she assured. The two had their eyes locked onto each other. And then, the door opened.

"Well, would ya look at that…" a familiar voice said, earning an annoyed glance from Maria while Spinner grimaced with a blush, turning to see Dabi there, "Guess I should've figured she was into you," he remarked.

"Take your racist ass somewhere else, Dabi," the Slime Quirk user insisted with a dismissive wave of her right hand, ignoring what he was implying.

"Look, I already apologized for the crap I said about Spinner," he pointed out, putting his hands into his pockets, "But if you need me to, I'll do it again…" he muttered in acceptance.

"Hey, don't worry about it," the lizard-like man assured, "That's just how you are, I know you never meant it like that," he affirmed on, while Maria gave off a look of skepticism.

"So what are you doing here?" she asked of the pyrokinetic.

"Got word from Ujiko that Shigaraki's just a month away from completion," he replied, causing the pair to blink in surprise.

"Time sure flies…" Spinner remarked aloud.

"And that means we're gonna be on the move soon…" Maria added.

"Probably even sooner…" Dabi corrected, causing her to blink in confusion.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, arching an eyebrow. The pyrokinetic let off a tiny smirk.

"Let's call it a hunch…" he said. Elsewhere in the villa, the likes of Callum and Nasseh lied groaning upon the floor as both Shura and Fie stood over them, breathing heavily with exhaustion. Watching them from afar were Lyra, Milani, and Ijuna.

"Well, how 'bout that?" the Gambler Rush Quirk user mumbled with her head held in her hands, "They won again…" she muttered.

"Shura definitely got stronger, given that he accessed his Overdrive," the Mirror Trick Quirk user mentioned, "But that other guy's pretty good, too," she added, glancing over at Fie, who chuckled.

"Hm," Lyra hummed, "So that guy can fight even without a gun, huh?" she noted aloud, "Guess we were losing from the start…" she muttered out.

"Ergh…" Callum grunted as he pushed himself onto his feet, "I can't believe you've gotten so much stronger…" he muttered in admittance to Shura, who approached him, "Then again, I suppose you were forced to," he concluded. The Satan Gravity Quirk user scoffed.

"'Course I was," he confirmed, while Fie helped get Nasseh onto his feet, "You idiots need to figure out how to get your Quirks stronger," he insisted of his colleagues, "I don't care if you have to get Overdrive or whatever," he mentioned, walking off while picking up his jacket, "Just be better," he advised.

"Shura!" Ijuna called out, jogging after him. Taking his rifle, Fie followed them as well. They wandered down the hall together. "I'm surprised you've been taking command lately," the secretary admitted to her boyfriend.

"Kinda have to with Shigaraki on the mend and the old men distracted with keeping up the façade," he pointed out in response, "I heard it's only a month until he's ready to go," he added further.

"And once he's ready, we'll get ta burn down everythin'!" Fie proclaimed excitedly with a cackle. Shura huffed with a grin. Meanwhile, his adoptive father was sitting in an office with the likes of Rikiya, Koku, Tomoyasu, and Cure.

"We have a month left before Shigaraki is ready to be unleashed," the Stress Quirk user of the group noted, "I'm trembling with excitement at the thought of what destruction he'll bring…" he admitted with a grin.

"Re-Destro, you're becoming far too enamored with the man who almost singlehandedly ruined our entire life's work!" Skeptic argued, gnashing his teeth with frustration.

"I agree with Skeptic, at least in terms of being too obsessed with him," Trumpet concurred, "Moreover, we still have much to worry about," he mentioned, "The rallying for heroes is at an all-time high, and we're still in the midst of planning our attack," he explained.

"A fair point," Rikiya agreed, tenting his hands, "We have the lieutenants and regiments prepared, but we still need to work on the kinks when it comes to our main warriors," he pointed out, "That being Gigantomachia… and Deadend Crow," he confirmed, turning to Cure, "Naosu, we do apologize again for deploying him during that whole escapade," he told him, "I hate to ask, but will he be able to be deployed again at a moment's notice?" he inquired with a smile. The I.U.A. Hero huffed.

"Of course," he answered as he had his arms folded over his chest, "He'll be ready at any time, in fact," he affirmed further.

"Wonderful!" Re-Destro exclaimed.

"If I may interject," Nero chimed in, getting everyone's attention, "I have concerns over our future operations," he admitted.

"And what concerns are those?" Koku questioned curiously.

"For one, Hawks," the dual-type Quirk user answered, "Despite his behaviors, I have suspicions that he has ulterior motives," he told the group, "I can't imagine that other heroes aren't taking notice of his contributions to our cause," he explained further.

"True, but he's proven to be loyal to us," Rikiya argued, "Aside from distributing Destro's manifesto, he's been willing to be tracked by Skeptic," he pointed out.

"Any movement he makes, we know of," Tomoyasu chimed in reassuringly, "Though I too have my suspicions…" he admitted on.

"Hm," Nero hummed, "And then, there's the matter of you, Naosu," he mentioned over to Cure, "I don't have doubts about your allegiances, but there's the matter of the rest of the IUA," he pointed out, "Would Feather not be able to see what you're up to?" he presumed.

"No," the I.U.A. Hero immediately answered, "Feather's Eye of Venus only tracks living things," he confirmed to the group, "And I… am not like that," he added with a grin, "If you have anyone to worry about, it's Hawks," he affirmed, "But I doubt even he could muster something to stop our combined forces," he noted on, standing up from his seat, "So long as operations are proceeding smoothly, I see no reason to fret," he said, walking off, "I'll see myself out," he decided. The others watched him go, with the doors opening for him to depart.

"He seems to be reveling in all this," Koku noted aloud.

"To think that the IUA have no idea of his intentions…" Tomoyasu remarked.

"It's better that they still don't," Rikiya chimed in, "From what Naosu's told me, they believe he's still investigating you, Nero," he pointed out to the dual-type Quirk user, who huffed, "He'll keep the IUA occupied with their other matters," he assured, "For now, I think it's time we prepare for the stage to be set…" he advised with a grin.

X

"Aw, come on, Becca!" Mina yelled back in the Heights Alliance dorm at dusk, "Can't we watch it now, please?!" she begged with her hands clapped together.

"It's a three-hour movie!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user pointed out, placing her hands onto her hips in defiance, "And besides, it's a school night," she added seriously.

"Bluegarden is right," Tenya chimed in as he approached, having overheard the conversation, "As curious as I am about how that story will be resolved, we still have the last leg of our first year to worry about," he noted, "Best for all of us not to worry about it until we have more free time," he affirmed on.

"Ergh, you're all no fun!" Mina complained as she flailed her arms. Most of the others of Class A were gathered in the common space.

"With so much left to go through, not hard to see why the movie's three hours…" Minoru remarked on the couch with Hanta and Denki.

"Still wish we could see it…" the Electrification Quirk user muttered, folding his arms behind his head.

"Spring break's coming up, so that'll be a perfect time!" Hanta pointed out, "And maybe we can start watching some of those shows, too!" he mentioned excitedly.

"Yeah, that'd be pretty cool…" Weisz said nearby, letting out a wince as he rubbed his right shoulder gingerly.

"You good, Steiner?" Denki asked upon overhearing him.

"Eh, yeah…" he replied with a grin, "Shiki and I had a little spar earlier…" he pointed out, "Kinda got my ass handed to me…" he admitted sheepishly as he kept rubbing his shoulder. Just then, he noticed a hand holding out a bottle of what looked like lotion.

"This should help you feel better," Momo's voice noted as she was the one holding the bottle, giving the Machina Maker Quirk user a little smile.

"Oh, thanks," he responded gratefully, accepting the bottle. The Creation Quirk user walked off, with the others staring on, somewhat in disbelief. As Weisz applied the lotion to his shoulder, he noticed Denki and Minoru glaring at him.

"Traitor…" they both growled out.

"What'd I do?!" Weisz exclaimed in question.

"It's gonna be so great to finally be sophomores!" Toru noted excitedly from the kitchen with Mashirao, Kyoka, Homura, and Shoto, "Even if we'll still be kept separate from other classes, we're going to be seniors to the next first-years!" she pointed out.

"Now that I think about it, are there gonna be new teachers for us in the second year?" Kyoka wondered aloud.

"Maybe," Shoto responded with a shrug, "Either way, I don't think it'll change much," he affirmed.

"Agreed," his girlfriend said as she nodded her head, "Though I'm looking forward to the lessons we might learn," she admitted. Meanwhile, Izuku was finishing up his rice at one of the tables nearby, chewing contently. All of a sudden, something bumped into him from behind, making him lurch forward slightly. He turned his head to see Katsuki there.

"Kacchan…" he uttered. His rival sat down next to him.

"No word from the other predecessors still?" he assumed of him, causing him to blink in surprise.

"Not yet, no…" he confirmed as a response, swallowing his food, "But I'm not too worried just yet," he assured, "If Float comes in next like All Might said, I'll have a handle over it," he pointed out to the Explosion Quirk user. He huffed.

"And what about Rebecca?" he asked to his confusion.

"What about her?" he asked as he looked over to his girlfriend, who was still trying to console a dismayed Mina with Tenya.

"She's got One For All, too," Katsuki noted, "Or at least a piece of it thanks to you from the last world," he corrected, "She's gonna have to be ready to take on those Quirks too, right?" he assumed. For a moment, Izuku looked worried. However, he steeled himself.

"If that's the case, she'll be fine," he assured, "We've got All Might to help us along, after all," he mentioned with a small smile. The Explosion Quirk user didn't seem convinced. But he stood up, turning around and walking away.

"You looked pretty jacked up during our training today," he recalled to his rival's surprise, "Guess that means you idiots lost control like loose lips and icy-hot…" he concluded, causing Izuku to gasp as his cheeks went red. He shook his head to calm himself, sighing as he saw Katsuki depart.

'It's hard for me to really tell what Kacchan's thinking half of the time…' he admitted to himself, 'Still… I think he is worried about us,' he noted inwardly, looking back toward his girlfriend, 'I would be, too,' he confessed through his thoughts. The evening went on with everyone washing up and heading right to bed. Rebecca herself snoozed contently without a worry in the world. No strange vision had crossed her mind in her sleep. She stayed that way, even as her phone buzzed with a notification on her nightstand. In the main building of U.A., many of the teachers were on their own devices, having received notifications themselves.

"So… they're making a move…" Witch noted curiously, reading the message.

"Well, we at least finally found the bastards," Sister remarked, putting her hands onto her hips.

"And good timing, too," Hermit added as she stepped forward, "I just finished the project with Mei a little while ago," she confirmed.

"The Knight Gear?" the Heal Atomizer Quirk user assumed with an arched eyebrow.

"Knight Gears," the Master Code Quirk user corrected as she gave off a smug smirk, much to the surprise of her fellow androids, "One for each of us," she added.

"Well done, Hermit," Witch complimented, "Though I'm sure it couldn't have been easy," she noted, "Lady Mei must've provided you a great deal of assistance," she concluded with a smile.

"Sure did," the Master Code Quirk user confirmed as she glanced back toward the workbench where Mei herself was snoozing. Throughout the hero academy, the likes of Midnight, Cementoss, Mic, and even Shota got the notification. The latter gripped his phone.

'We'll get them back for you… Shirakumo,' he affirmed inwardly.

"Ah…" Rebecca yawned as she walked along the cherry blossom tree path toward school with the rest of her classmates the next morning, "Hey, Izu?" she called out to her boyfriend, "You get a message from Endeavor's office, too?" she inquired of him.

"Uh, yeah," he replied, pulling out his phone, "About a mission happening next week," he recalled.

"Wait, you too?" Denki chimed in, "We got notice on something happening soon…" he pointed out.

"Same here…" Toru added.

"Us as well," Momo chimed in.

"Okay… that seems like way too much of a coincidence," Rebecca noted with a perplexed expression, "What could be going on?" she wondered aloud.

What could be going on, indeed… But fret not, we'll get right to next week without so much as a worry in the world. I hope you're all ready…

The spring breeze gusted about as many heroes, including the likes of Izuku, Katsuki, Rebecca, Shoto, Homura, Koji, Tenya, Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Nejire, were standing on the outskirts of a city in the near distance. The Cat Leaper Quirk user flinched from the chill of the gust blowing by, making her hair wave with the wind.

"Okay, here's the deal!" Burnin called out to her colleagues, gesturing toward the city, "Our goal's to evacuate everyone to safety!" she confirmed, "We do that quick, we make it easier for the others to do their jobs!" she added firmly. Staring out into the distance, Izuku and Rebecca could only wonder where this new mission of theirs would lead…

Insert "SKETCH" by Kiro Akiyama

We start with Rebecca waking up in her bed, rubbing her tired eyes before going to get ready for the day. She pulls out her phone, posing for a picture as she winks. The scene changes to her gathered together with her female classmates before class, taking another picture together.

There's a montage of pictures, one of Weisz trying to fix his Arsenal armor as Eijiro and Tetsutetsu watch, another of Shiki floating upside down with a blushing Ochaco during training, Homura swinging her sword out, clashing with Togaru as their classmates cheer them on, and Neito trying to show off with Denki's Quirk that he copied, only to turn dopey after overexerting electricity. Rebecca looks through her photos before coming across one of her and her boyfriend, having taken a selfie together in their hero costumes. We cut to when that picture was taken, having been during their work study with Endeavor.

Katsuki blasts on ahead, keeping pace with the Flame Hero before they subdue a villain together. Shoto captures several thugs in a wave of ice, while Izuku ensnares others with Blackwhip. As Homura cuts down another foe, Rebecca speeds in front of one, kicking him down. She grins, taking another picture in the midst of their victory.

The scene transitions to her holding her phone before being tackled into a hug by Eri, making her giggle. Witch, Sister, Hermit and Shota watch as they play with each other, giving off warm smiles. Rebecca snaps another photo with her and Eri, followed by snapping several pictures with many of the teachers, too. One happens to be All Might, who flashes double peace signs in his muscle form just as Rebecca takes the picture. He deflates to normal, coughing up blood as the Cat Leaper Quirk user apologizes profusely.

The last picture Rebecca has stored is one of her and Izuku, as she makes a kissy face with him amidst the falling cherry blossoms at U.A. It's also the last picture taken before the mission in Jaku City. We see her looking at the very photo while knelt on her bed, the light from her phone reflecting off of her face, with her eyes veiled by her hair. A few teardrops drip onto the phone…

Just a quick prologue chapter before we kick into high gear! I'm expecting this arc to reach up to 20 chapters, but that could very well change. We'll see how it goes!

Thanks for reading!
