Thanksgiving: The Fox And The Boy

While on Thanksgiving vacation with the family at his Grandmother's house in Trofte-Minnesota, Cameron, his pup, Mickey, and his two cousins encounter a boy who has run away from home with his pet Fox to keep it from being killed and made into a Thanksgiving meal by his stepfather, the sheriff. And they soon find themselves hiding the boy and fox out at Cam's Grandma's place.

"Since the carnival disaster in Paris, Texas four months ago...i've been wondering if Cameron will be the kid he was before all that happened. Will he ever be the same boy again that Alice and i know and love? And he almost is. Sometimes his old self just comes out. "Dad...can we go camping next summer, just the two of us"? "Can we go to the gym and work-out, Dad"?" Bill said.

"He even likes working out with you?" Dustin asked.

"And now he's back to his old self and i feel like his Dad again, but what good is it now? I can't fix this, i can't make it better. I can't undo what happened at the carnival or at Camp Kikiwaka." Bill said.

"I know how you feel." Dustin said. "You all came out here to spend Thanksgiving together as a family. And now Cameron, Rocco and Leo are gone. Thanksgiving is only a day away...and they probably won't even be here to celebrate it with us. And i know there's nothing we can do about it."
