Chapter 37: The Discreet Wedding
After the storm comes the calm. Peace comes after the suffering. That is something we have seen many times in this saga. And one couple knows this well. After days of torment with an uncomfortable situation, couples therapy to strengthen the relationship and psychological support to learn to slowly heal the traumas and mistrust generated by the incident, the couple considered it was time to execute their plans that were in motion. That's right, Zooli Brook and Urchin Lee-Rivers continued with their wedding plans. The place was chosen. The lawyer had been hired for the ceremony. They invited the people they knew should be there. The theme and logistics had been planned. Unlike other weddings, the couple agreed to only invite a small group of people. Only their closest family and friends, because they wanted a simple celebration without too many complications. Well, they wanted to keep the budget low so they could enjoy their honeymoon and use the remaining money to put the finishing touches on their home. Zooli and Urchin opted for a property away from the city and closer to the nearby nature of BubbleTucky. They might become the couple with the most remote home of the group, but they wanted to have a space closer to nature, being nature lovers that they are. Although I think I'm getting ahead of myself a bit. The wedding day has arrived. And yet, there were still many hours of work to make the ceremony happen. We will see how each of the parties involved will cope.
Urchin's Part
The groom was busy directing the decorations and arranging arrangements regarding snacks, dinner, music and of course with the lawyer. He was lucky that the couple's relatives were diligent in doing everything possible to make the celebration go as planned. After all that planning, Urchin found himself contemplating the view of nature on a hill where a natural cliff with a large river and fields in sight could be seen. He wanted to be alone for a few moments. However, he was surprised anyway.
"Do you enjoy the view?" It was Nonny quietly.
"Huh? Oh yeah….After all, this is where the ceremony will take place. Under a natural arch with flowers and under these trees" Urchin said, observing the place.
"Okay, both the Lee and Rivers families have all the logistics for the meal prepared. We will have dishes from both Chinese and Jewish cultures. It will really be a spectacular dinner" Goby arrived, informing the advance.
"Country decorations are going well...Although there are a lot of bugs around here" Gil said before scratching himself a bit and shooing away some small flying insects.
"It's normal in a place like this. Deep in the wilderness, far from civilization. Just as Zooli and I agreed. That's why the note to use repellent was included in the invitation" Urchin answered with a giggle. It was not long before Mr. Grouper arrived along with Mr. and Mrs. Lee-Rivers.
"Very well. The lawyer confirmed his arrival in the afternoon. By then, there should be no more delays" Mr. Grouper notified him.
"Thank you all very much. Organizing all this was not an easy task, but I thank you all" Urchin said with a smile.
"It was nothing, man" Gil said funnily.
"Heh….Just look at you, boy... You're about to become a grown man. You look like quite the gentleman" Mr. Lee-Rivers said, trying to hold back his tears. Urchin was wearing his wedding suit. It was a moss green suit with a white shirt and a light brown tie. He also wore a flower on his vest.
"Yes, I still have a hard time believing that this is really happening. I never thought that something like this would happen in my life" Urchin said quietly.
"But it's happening, that's what's important. After all the things you've been through... I firmly believe that you deserve to be with someone who makes you happy. And if Zooli is the person you want to share your life with, I won't have any objections" Mrs. Lee-Rivers said with her firm tone of voice.
"Oh...M-Mom…Are you really serious?" Urchin was moved by her words.
"Don't get me wrong. I still have my opinions, but I won't deny you happiness...No more..." Mrs. Lee-Rivers said, giving a small smile.
"Dude, you're the only one missing to join the married club" Gil said funnily.
"But today that ends" Goby joined him.
"I think what we all want to say is that we are very happy for you. You are the last of the group to get married and that deserves that this day be celebrated in a big way... In its own way of course" Nonny explained.
"Thank you, friends. If you are here it is because you are very important to me and Zooli. But anyway, we have work to do. I don't want Zooli to arrive earlier than expected" Urchin said determinedly.
"It shouldn't be a problem. Brides are always late" Gil commented funnily.
"...Well...Zooli..." Urchin was a bit nervous because he had an idea what would be happening with his bride.
Zooli's Part
"No! No! No! How do you come up with royal blue nail polish? Zooli needs pink glitter nails!" It was Deema, helping in the preparation of the bride.
"But purple looks better on Zooli's nails" Oona said.
"Uhhh….girls" Zooli wanted to talk.
"Decide what color the nails will be! I need to see if she needs pearl or diamond earrings and necklaces. And I want to start working on the hair" Molly scolded them.
"Girls…." Zooli was confused.
"Thinking about it...Don't you think sky blue would be better for nails?" Deema continued.
"What are you talking about? I'd say they must be pink" Oona intervened.
"Let's choose quickly, we don't want to waste any more time" Molly said loudly.
"Girls! Let me speak!" Zooli said loudly. The three of them looked surprised "(sigh) Girls, I don't want to be a very demanding bride. It's not a very formal wedding and I really want to keep things simple. How about if you paint my nails pink with white details and little pearls. That way it would match the dress and the crown I asked for" Zooli explained her look for the celebration.
"Well, I think we went too far. We just want you to look wonderful on the happiest day of your life" Deema said nervously.
"Okay, girls. Let's just get to work. I don't want to be late" Zooli said with a smile.
"But what are you worried about? The bride is always late" Oona asked her giggling.
"I do want to get there on time. I don't want to make Urchin panic" The bride said while her friends started to prepare her style.
"You're right. I'm sure he's dying of nerves" Molly commented. It took a few minutes for them to finish the new bridal style.
"I've already brought the perfumes and the car will be ready. How are we doing here?" Mrs. Grouper was there, checking the work.
"Ta-Da!" Deema introduced Zooli in a dramatic way. Zooli was wearing a white wedding dress that featured off-the-shoulder neckline and an elegant neckline. She had a necklace and earrings with small pearls and in the area where she had the headband in her bun, she replaced the headband with a crown made of white and sky blue flowers as a detail.
"My little Zooli is already a grown woman! Everything is so sudden for me...BUAAAAHHH" Khloe said with tears in her eyes and hugging her niece
"Hey, auntie….I'll still be there for you. Thank you so much for everything. If it wasn't for you, I'm sure I would have taken a different path...and it wouldn't exactly be a good path. Same to you girls. You're the best" Zooli said with a sincere smile.
"(sigh) I wish...my sister was here. I bet she would be crying with happiness seeing you like this" Khloe said, wiping her tears.
"I miss them too. I wish you were with me here and now...But, they are always with me...Here" Zooli touched her own chest "As long as we never forget them, they will always be in my memory and in my heart. I know...I know that wherever they are, they would be happy".
"snif…snif….That was beautiful…" Deema said sobbing.
"You've not only grown physically, Zooli. You've grown in maturity as well. I'm so proud of you" Her aunt said proudly.
"Sorry to interrupt the moment but...The car is ready" Charlize called them.
"The moment has come. Are you ready?" Molly asked her.
"You can bet on it. Let's go" Zooli said confidently.
The special moment was about to begin. Guests began to arrive, wearing their best suits and dresses for the special occasion. It was not a ceremony with too many people, but there were the necessary and important people for the couple. The country atmosphere and the proximity to nature in an ideal time between spring and summer only improved the atmosphere. We can see that in front of the altar was Urchin with his two parents, Goby, Nonny and Mr. Grouper as the closest companions. The lawyer was preparing the last details for the ceremony.
"Wow...Seriously this feels so...unreal" Urchin said surprisingly.
"Is something wrong, son? Are you nervous?" Mr. Lee-Rivers asked him.
"K-Kinda…I mean, What if Zooli changed her mind at the last second and left me at the altar? Or what if something happened to her?" Urchin was getting nervous.
"Don't worry, everything is under control. She's on her way. Besides, she would never do something like that" Nonny calmed him a bit.
"She wants to marry you as much as you want to marry her. There should be no problem" Goby added confidently.
"For her sake, I hope so" Mrs. Lee-Rivers said firmly and seriously.
"Everyone pay attention! The Bride has arrived!" Gil arrived quickly with the important announcement and everyone began to take their respective places.
"Wow! It's one of the few times I see a bride arrive on time" Goby said while checking his wristwatch.
"Told ya" Urchin said funnily.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats. Put away your cell phones. If you would like photos of the ceremony, the couple has hired a professional photographer. We ask that you put away your electronic devices. This is a time to share time with the new couple and connect with family and nature. Without further ado, we will welcome the bride" Molly notified the guests. The photographer was a lobster boy in a formal suit and his professional camera who would capture the best images of the best moments of the ceremony. Without further interruptions, the ceremony began.
With the path decorated with pink and purple petals, the bride had arrived. Zooli dazzled the atmosphere with her beautiful off-the-shoulder wedding dress and a crown of flowers in her bun accompanied by a veil. The person who would escort her would be her own aunt. That person who had taken on the role of legal guardian and even mother. Both paraded on that path of petals. Both families looked happy, and let's not even mention the friends of the couple. The journey felt eternal for Zooli. Her mind was filled with positive emotions and even disbelief.
"(I can't believe it. Me? Getting married? This...It doesn't seem real...But it is! My aunt, my best friends...Everyone I care about is here...And getting married to the only guy I ever really loved...and who ever truly loved me...Old Zooli wouldn't believe it...)" Zooli said all of this in her mind. And without her realizing it, she was already in front of her groom and the lawyer.
"Z-Z-Zooli….You…You look….beautiful…." Urchin said with a high shock.
"Hehe….Thanks….You look handsome too…" She winked at him.
"Ahem! Dear guests, family and close friends. Today is a special day for these two people who have decided to join their lives in holy matrimony. A union formed by Urchin Lee-Rivers and Zooli Brook. A couple who have fought hard to get to this point. Many couples don't make it. However, this is only the beginning of another journey they must travel together…" The lawyer began to make the formal speech necessary to correctly specify the statutes necessary to unite the couple under civil marriage. However, there is an important comment here "I was notified that you two chose this place as you are both nature lovers. It's funny, love has elements like nature. Nature has 4 important elements: Air, Earth, Water and Fire. And love is the same. Air means the freedom that you two will share, the wind comes and goes whenever it wants. Earth means the place where you two will create roots together, sharing your union and forming a family. Water means life, without water nature and living beings die. You need the water called love so that your relationship doesn't die. And Fire means passion and desire. You as a couple must keep that flame always burning, sharing your greatest desires and dreams…" The lawyer used the allegory of nature to explain how it was connected to love. Zooli and Urchin had to hide their blushes when they heard some of these things. However, we get to the moments that matter to us "Urchin Lee-Rivers, you may read your wedding vows"
"Oh. O-Of course, sir…" Urchin said a little nervously before starting his wedding vows. From their seats, Gil, Goby and Nonny waved to him to give him encouragement and confidence "Ahem! Well….Uhhhh….How do I start? There are so many things I can say...Okay, let's see...(sigh) Zooli, you are definitely an exceptional woman. I never thought the day would come when I would marry someone. And much less someone as wonderful and special as you. A person like me would have no chance of being with a wonderful woman. At least, those were my ideas until you showed me otherwise. Thanks to you, my days are no longer gray. Thanks to you, I managed to break my own barrier of loneliness and sadness. Thanks to you, I have more reasons to smile. Thanks to you, I am no longer afraid of the world. I know that by your side, my days will be brighter. With you, I learned to love, to listen, to be patient and to trust. Today I will begin the best adventure of my life, and that is to share a life by your side. Therefore, I promise to cook you the breakfasts that you love so much (and I know that you love my food). I promise to be your safe place when you are tired of always showing your strong side to the world. I promise to always listen to you and always advise you when you need it. I want to be the first person to know your best and worst news. I promise to cry with you, whether it's for reasons of happiness or for reasons of mourning. I don't promise to be the perfect husband, but I can promise to be the faithful and useful husband for your needs. And for that, I swear before our families and friends, that I will love and respect you for as long as we are together" The boy in the wheelchair tried to say that without getting too nervous or too sentimental. Those words touched the heart of our strong girl who felt very happy. Always holding back her desire to cry from happiness. Well, not everyone could hold back.
"BUAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Deema began to cry with happiness, only to be comforted by her friend Oona who smiled nervously and a bit ashamed, in a funny way of course.
"Okay, that was beautiful. Zooli Brook, it's your turn to prepare your wedding vows" The lawyer said quietly.
"Well...I think I got it...Urchin, you are the only man I could love with all my being. Look, I never thought I would find the ideal person. I had several disappointments in love that made me believe that this thing of true love was only things from fairy tales. But, thanks to my aunt, my best friends, and you in particular, I was able to prove that true love does exist in reality. Love is not as it is painted in fairy tales or soap operas. Are there nice moments? Yes, there are. But there are also difficult moments like...Doubts. When someone else arrives and one can doubt if your partner will be faithful or not...Difficult moments also come like problems and arguments. But, true love can overcome all those evils and problems. It is not easy, because things that are worth it have their challenges. And look at me, I am not the most expert in love or the most romantic person you know. But if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that, by Urchin's side, I can confirm that true love exists. I, Zooli Brook, promise to defend you from anyone who wants to hurt you, even if it involves fists. I also promise to value all the time we spend alone. I promise to trust you with my secrets, my desires, and my dreams with you before anyone else. I promise to enjoy the natural beauties that the world offers for us by your side. I want to make every day of your life something special and unique. And most importantly, I promise to love and respect you every second we're together. And that's how it will be, until the day one of us has to go to another life. And if there's something beyond that, I want us to spend that eternity together with you…" Zooli said all of this was stored in her heart. Urchin needed a handkerchief to wipe his nose because those words made him sob a little. Always showing that smile of a boy in love with that woman who would spend the rest of his life by his side.
"Awwwwww!" Molly, Deema, Oona and Khloe said at the same time.
"Very well. I think we can proceed. Well... Ahem! Do you, Urchin Lee-Rivers, take Zooli Brooks to be your wife and to live together as partners, to treat them with love and respect, and to build a marriage that grows stronger and more loving as time passes?" The lawyer started with one of the most important parts of the ceremony.
"Yes, I do" Urchin said, smiling.
"And do you, Zooli Brook, take Urchin Lee-Rivers to be your husband and to live together as partners, to treat them with love and respect, and to build a marriage that grows stronger and more loving as time passes?" The lawyer asked her.
"Yes, I do" Zooli smiled at him.
"Perfect. We will proceed with the delivery of the rings" The lawyer said calmly. Zooli just gave a little smile and made a very loud whistle that everyone heard.
"Huh?" Some were confused until…
"Arf Arf Arf!" Coco appeared carrying the rings on her collar. Zooli bent down and took the box of rings that the dog had.
"Good job, girl!" She congratulated her, petting her head before taking the ring box that was tied to the dog's collar.
"Arf! Arf!"
"Hehe, that was my idea" Gil said proudly. His wife just chuckled.
"What a way to bring out the rings. Well, it's time to put on the rings" The lawyer continued with the ceremony. Zooli crouched down slightly to be at her boyfriend's level. Urchin took the first ring and gently took his girl's hand. He placed the ring on her finger.
"I give you this ring as a symbol of my decision to make you my wife, partner, and closest friend until the end of my days. The vows you've taken and the rings you've now exchanged have enhanced the love you already share in your hearts" Urchin said smiling, putting the ring in her finger. Now, Zooli took the other ring and she took her boyfriend's hand.
"I give you this ring as a symbol of my decision to make you my husband, partner, and closest friend until the end of my days. The vows you've taken and the rings you've now exchanged have enhanced the love you already share in your hearts" Zooli repeated while she put the ring on her groom's finger. They both then signed the papers that the lawyer gave them.
"True marriage is more than just a ceremony or a piece of paper – it is a lasting bond that joins two lives and two hearts. Marriage is love. Companionship. Trust. And Respect. May you always find strength in each other, laugh with each other, and find safety and comfort in each other's words and company. May you celebrate many joyful seasons together, support each other when days are difficult, and continue to learn and grow closer together with each passing year ….By the virtue of the authority vested in me by the State, I now pronounce you married. You may kiss" The lawyer finally declared them as a married couple. Zooli approached her now husband and bent down a little again. Urchin timidly hugged her neck and they both brought their faces together to finally give the kiss that would mark the officialization of Husband and Wife.
"YOOHOO! HORRAY!" All the guests screamed and applauded.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Molly, Deema and Oona screamed like fangirls.
"That's our compadre! YAHOO!" Gil said funnily. Finally, Zooli and Urchin ended the kiss and looked into each other's eyes, catching their breath.
"Congratulations, you two- Oh!" The lawyer is surprised to see them kissing again. This surprises everyone present a little, but no one complains.
"Why did we kiss again?" Zooli asked him, confused.
"I just wanted to make sure I wasn't dreaming" Urchin confessed nervously.
"And...Do you still have doubts?" Zooli smirked at him with some flirty way,
"Huh….Uhhh…Maybe.?" Urchin said nervously.
"Come here…" Zooli kissed him a third time and with this, she confirmed to her "now official husband" that everything was real and not a fairy tale.
"Woah! Those two are more passionate than I imagined" Oona was a bit shocked.
"Yes, indeed" Molly said with a nervous smile.
"They can't be more passionate than me. Goby, come here, my man!" Deema quickly and playfully ordered before kissing her husband. All the guppies laughed at that. This only indicated the beginning of something very beautiful for everyone.
It was time to celebrate the new Lee-Rivers-Brook couple! The grand banquet was held. A dinner with many dishes of Chinese and Jewish origin divided into sections. In addition, it was a picnic style. That is, everyone would eat outdoors. Add to that the perfect weather for the occasion. In fact, we arrived at a special moment, where the closest family and friends of the couple would dedicate some special words to the newly married couple.
"My son, there are so many things to say. First of all, I am happy that you have finally found the ideal woman for your life. Not a perfect woman, but the right one to accompany you on your life's journey. I always knew that you could make your life like any other "normal" person. You challenged many people who thought that love was only something superficial. Today you fill me with great pride. And Zooli, thank you very much for being by my son's side in the most difficult moments. And I know with all certainty that you will continue that way. A thousand blessings to both of you" Mr. Lee-Rivers said happily.
"Urchin, you know very well that I am not good with words. And even less so when it comes to matters related to feelings. Still, I want to congratulate you for everything you have achieved so far. You have really managed to impress many people, including me. You have really made me see my own mistakes and I am sorry if I was not the best mother in the world. Despite everything, I will always be there for you... Zooli, maybe we have not started well and I still do not fully trust you. However, I recognize that your presence has improved my son's attitude and mood. So, I will trust you to make him happier. I am counting on it" Mrs. Lee-Rivers said quietly.
"Thank you, dad. Thank you, mom….You guys are the best" Urchin answered.
"Many thanks to both of you. You can count on me" Zooli added.
"Oh my dear Zooli, I am so happy for you. I am happy that you have found the love of your life. I have never seen you so happy after so many things that we have lived and you have experienced. I am proud of how much you have matured and grown little by little. I do not deny that the arrival of your friends and that of Urchin generated positive changes in you. This is only the beginning of a beautiful and new stage for the two of you. Maybe I am not the one to advise, because I never married, but I can assure you that I will always welcome you both in the house. Now Urchin is part of my family and you will always be welcome. I wish you happiness in your relationship" Aunt Khloe said happily and she hugged Zooli.
"Thank you for everything, Aunt. You really are my second mom" Zooli admitted happily.
"Awwww I'm so happy for you two. You are very special friends to us. I'm glad you've joined us. I can confirm from my own experience that marriage is a beautiful stage, with great challenges along the way (and I still have a lot to experience). I can only congratulate you for making it this far" Molly congratulated them.
"Congratulations to both of you! Just as I said, Molly, you two are just beginning a new chapter that will bring you much happiness. I know Zooli and Urchin well. I have no doubt that you two will be very happy. I knew that from the moment you met. I want to congratulate you on finding love for each other" Gil said happily.
"Congratulations to both of you. You did everything possible to make this day come. You still have a lot to experience together in married life. You should know very well that I will be there for you both" Goby said these words to the newly married couple.
"BUAAAAAAHHHHHH! I'm so happy for you, Zooli! The last of us to finally get married! Finally we are all married! I can assure you that you are about to enter the most beautiful adventure of your life. I know that with Urchin, things will go well between you. They are both very good friends and you know that you will have the fun "Godmother Deema" for you" Deema said funnily but with very good intentions.
"Awwww, I'm so happy that you've finally found true love. After so many disappointments and problems that you've both had to face, you deserve to be happy. I want you to know that I will always be there to listen to you and support you in whatever you need. I'm sure that you'll find something very special in all these years that you'll spend together" Oona said happily.
"Congratulations to both of you. I can safely say that you two are great friends to all of us and you can count on the Bubble Guppies for everything. Base your relationship on love and mutual respect and you will have a prosperous marriage and family. And I don't just mean in the material sense, but in the emotional sense. Trust each other unconditionally" Nonny said wisely.
Finally, a moment arrived that perhaps not many expected. Zooli and Urchin would have their first dance together as a couple. It would be the newly married couple's waltz. Some did not know how they were going to do it if Urchin could not dance properly. Although those closest to them knew perfectly well how they would do it. Urchin and Zooli greeted each other with an elegant bow at the beginning. And they both gave each other a knowing look.
"How about we surprise our guests?" Zooli whispered to him.
"Hehe…Y-Yeah….Just as we practice it" Urchin said before the new wife lifted him up by the waist. Urchin clung to his wife, hugging her neck with both of his hands and wrapping his tail around her waist. Zooli kept one hand holding her waist and her other hand held one of Urchin's hands. And both of them started doing their unique dance.
"Wait...Is that possible?! Isn't that dangerous?" Mrs. Lee-Rivers was surprised.
"Believe me, ma'am... We've seen it a few times. They've improved quite a bit" Gil smirked proudly.
"Wow….You're moving much better than before, Zooli…" Urchin admitted with surprise.
"I've become much stronger for occasions like these. Carrying you has become something... special and nice for me" Zooli answered, while dancing with him in her arms.
"I-I-I r-really like being in your arms…" Urchin confessed with his cheeks flushed. As red as a tomato.
"Mmmm maybe it's a good exercise for me" Zooli said with a special smile. She leaned him back holding his waist to end with a pose of her holding her boy and looking deeply into his eyes. Earning applause from the guests. This marked the beginning of the party for everyone. For the celebration, Gil and Goby had decided to be in charge of livening up the dance floor. The guests continued with the party, whether eating, chatting, dancing or singing.
"Hey, Deema... It's weird that we're at a party and you weren't the first one on the dance floor. Are you okay?" Molly asked with some concern.
"You know, girls...We barely started the party when I started to feel a little sick. I started to get a headache and I feel dizzy" Deema admitted.
"Maybe you've eaten something that caused something like this" Oona deduced.
"I don't know, girls... It started before dinner, so I doubt it... I... Ugh! Take me to the bathroom now! I want... Ughhh" Deema covered her mouth with one hand and looked dizzy and looked like she wanted to vomit.
"Deema!" Molly and Oona quickly took her to the bathroom.
"Nonny, call Goby please" The pink-haired young adult asked Nonny to talk to Goby. The boy didn't hesitate and looked for Deema's husband. While all this was going on, we'll focus on the newly married couple. After spending time with their loved ones, they decided to spend some quality time together. They simply went to the same hill where the ceremony had taken place. The chairs and the altar had already been cleared away and there was only the night view of nature, with the starry sky and the bright moon. They both wanted to have privacy after spending so much time with the crowd.
"(sigh) What a long day we've had, huh?" Zooli asked with a smile.
"Yes, but it was worth it. It will be a day we will never forget... Wow, I still find it hard to believe that we are finally married" Urchin said.
"Tell me about it. Honestly, I always thought I wouldn't get married. I firmly said I didn't believe in marriage and all that. And look at me now, married to you" The purple-haired guppy chuckled a bit.
"I think life always ends up surprising us in various ways" Urchin said quietly "Oh! I almost forgot. Zooli, I have a wedding gift for you!"
"Wait... Are you serious? It wasn't necessary" Zooli blushed a bit.
"Oh but I wanted to give you something special. Well, I need you to close your eyes" Urchin insisted.
"Alright" She simply obeyed and closed her eyes. What surprised her a little was that she heard him whistle a little to call something. Soft footsteps were heard.
"Open your eyes" When he said that, Zooli opened her eyes and saw something surprising and unexpected.
"B-B-But What-?!"
"Surprise!" She couldn't believe it! Urchin had called a beautiful little pink seahorse.
"Squeak! Squeak!"
"It's... It's... It's beautiful! Seahorses are my favorite animals! You knew that perfectly well, didn't you?" Zooli was very happy with the arrival of her new pet. If the wedding day was already perfect, Urchin's gift was just the cherry on the cake of this perfect day.
"Of course I know you've always wanted a seahorse. Your coworkers helped me get a seahorse for you. Isn't it beautiful?" Urchin said with a smile.
"Mmmm my knowledge of animal biology tells me that...It's a female, isn't it?" Zooli analyzed her new pet.
"Squeak! Squeak!"
"Your knowledge amazes me, dear" The wheel-chaired guppy answered.
"Okay. Then, I'll call you...Zelda" Zooli decided to name her new pet. The seahorse looked happy and snuggled up in her new owner's lap.
"What a way to start a family, huh?" Urchin smiled a bit.
"You are the best. You know what? I have a surprise for you too" Zooli said, showing him her surprise "I hope you have a decent command of the Spanish language"
"Wait...Those are the tickets for our honeymoon...in...Costa Rica?!" He was surprised. I mean, they had already planned it. But he didn't expect that she had some things planned ahead.
"Hehe yeah... My job allows me to meet people from all over the world. It wasn't hard to get someone to help me find an interesting destination in that country. Hope you're ready, Urchin" Zooli explained.
"You know? With you I am ready for this new adventure: To lead a new life and a new family by your side...Zooli, I love you" Urchin said confidently.
"And I love you too, Urchin"
The couple took advantage of the privacy of the moment to give each other a soft kiss on the lips. Although they had received a lot of attention at the wedding, they preferred privacy and discretion. Finally, the last single Bubble Guppies ended their relationship in marriage. Who knows what next adventure or situation they or the others will have to deal with soon?
FINALLY! All the Bubble Guppies are finally married! And they all lived happily ever after- Oh wait, that's not how it works in real life. Couples always have challenges in marriage. But as long as both parties work together, the love will be greater. Now we'll see what other great challenges our protagonists will have to face. We'll find out as the chapters progress.

SuperSonichero18: Hi, friend! It seems like some villains make the same mistakes as previous villains, huh? Hehehe... And yes, unfortunately, like a mother like a son. This could cause serious problems in the future.
PrimroseRaspberry: Hiya, friend! I'm glad you enjoyed the last episode. It was satisfying to see Lilith and Wilbur fall apart, and in turn, to see Zooli and Urchin together again. But as there are good things, there are bad things. Now it seems that mother and son have a common enemy. And the worst thing? They're with Harris! Whatever Harris is doing, it's not good at all.
RainbowFoxy1987: Hi there! I'm glad you were able to keep up with the story (I hope things are going well with your personal life). It really was one of the most serious and tense arcs I've written. It's not often I write about abuse, much less about a character I love and show how it affected their private life. But let's remember that they are the Bubble Guppies, they do whatever it takes to save their own and others. These were very intense episodes. Gil really stood out in this arc, learning from past situations. It's worrying that Harris is preparing a legion of villains behind him. Whatever it is, it's not good. But I hope you enjoyed the wedding and the honeymoon that's coming up.
And with this, I conclude the chapter. ReaderandWriter9000 says goodbye. See you in the next episode. Stay informed through my Deviantart account: DarthWriter2021. Don't miss the next episode.
Post-Chapter
"Ugh….Ugh….Finally home"
"Deema, are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital? You threw up a little at the wedding. I had to bring you here to relax"
"Don't worry, Goby. With those pills and rest, I'll be fine. But thanks for worrying. I just want to rest"
"Mmmm, I understand. Good night, Deema. Don't hesitate to wake me up if you need to vomit more or go to the hospital"
"I'll be fine. Thanks, Goby. Good night"
That's right, we're in Goby and Deema's room. Both of them had to leave the wedding party because of the health condition of our favorite blonde. Although the husband was worried and wanted to take her to the hospital, she insisted that she just wanted to rest and take some medicine. She surely didn't want to tire herself out any more because of the waiting time at the hospital. Despite everything, the couple was able to sleep peacefully without any problem. In the early morning, even with the darkness, Deema made sure that her husband was still asleep. She simply went slowly to the bathroom and closed the door. She looked for a package that was kept in the bathroom cabinet in an inconspicuous area. She took out a small object that she had inside that box.
"Dizziness...Headache...Vomiting...And a few days ago I didn't have my….. Oh...Maybe I...Wait...I have to try it. First I'll do this, and then I'll go to the doctor..." Deema said nervously before pulling out the small device. She had a suspicion that something out of the ordinary was going on with her. She wanted to check for herself before jumping to conclusions. Could it be possible that there was something... different about Deema?
