Ms. Marvel: Oh hi author, just uh…telling our fans about the info before they read it.

Author (Me): That's my thing. Well anyway let's just get this chapter started.

It was another day in Metropolis, as Gwen, and Kamala were helping Jessica at the pet adoption center. "All right, team, gather around." Dewey, they're boss said. He sighs and says, "Okay. So today, we're gonna try to beat last year's goal and get... three pets adopted.""Three?" Jessica said. "Why stop at three? I say we get all these pets adopted." she said with determination "Who is with me?" She asked."I'm in." Gwen said. "Count me in!" Kamala said with excitement "Me, dude!" Gwen said as she raised her hand "Count me in too." Kamala said. "Forever homes! Forever homes! Forever homes!" Jessica chanted to get the people of the shelter excited. "That's the spirit. Now…" she then cracks neck. "Let's house some pets." Jessica said. Soon everyone has helped a lot of pets get adopted by suggesting and matching the right owners, until hours later, the block was nothing left but empty cages.

"Wow, Jess. You've got a real girl for pairing animals with families." Dewey said. "Well, I believe there's a perfect owner for every pet. It's up to us to find them." Jessica stated. "No kidding." Kamala said as she was whipping off the sweat from her head with a towel. "I've never seen anyone find the best pets they could find." she complimented "Thanks, Kamala." Jess said as soon as they both high fived. "You got some spirit." Gwen said. Soon her phone started ringing. "Oh, just give me a sec." Gwen then reached to her phone and answered it. "Gwen stacy." she answered. "Woah, hold on Mr. Grimm, what's wrong…hm i see…no, no I'm available…alright then…im on my way." Gwen then ended her call and said. "The Fantastic 4 are in trouble, Doctor Doom is attacking the B.A.X.T.E.R, and with the rest of the girls in no go, and you two need to close up shop, I'll have to go alone." Gwen said. "Aw come on, how come the FF gets to pick you as back up?" The envious inhuman said. "They like the ones who arrive on time." Gwen jokes. "See you later girls." she said and soon started running to the B.A.X.T.E.R building.

"She'll be fine." Jess said. "Now would you help me put these cages in?" she asked. "Sure." Kamala said. When the two went to put a few cages away in storage there was electricity crackling. Jess noticed this and felt like something was wrong. "Hello?" Jess yelled out. "Jess, what's wrong?" Kamala asked. As there was thunder crackling, they both noticed a cage. "Who could be in there?" That's when they spotted this bluish gray cat in the cage and he looked like he was depressed. "Dexter." Jess read the cage's name clearly and the cat is named 'Dexter.' "How did we miss you, sweetie?" Jess baby talked to it. That's when Ida, one of the volunteers, came in. "Back away from that cage if you know what's good for you." Ida warned. "Why the hell would she back away from this little cat?" Kamala asked.

"I used to think Dexter was sweet, too." Ida said then chuckles but inhales deeply. "Until the day I tried to feed him…" that's when she showed them scratch marks on arm "...dry cat food." Then Dewey came in. "I called him Dexy." Dewey said. And then shows them scratch marks on his stomach. "Big mistake,"he said. "Ow!" Kamala cringed at. Kate then came in and said, "Remember what happened when Monica touched his tail?" That's when they show Monica acting all crazy. "Here kitty, kitty. Meow... Meow…" Lita then came to her and said, "Pull yourself together, woman!" She said as she was shaking her. "Sheesh!" However, Jess chuckled and said, "Come on, you guys. He's just a cat." "Yeah, I mean what's wrong with a little kitty?" Kamala asked. "No! He's a bad cat." And besides, it's almost his... "time."" Dewey said as clearly what he means that he must be put down. Jess gasped in horror. "No way!" Kamala said as she covered her mouth with concern.

"Yes. Just leave it alone." Dewey said, "However Jess only said, "Leave it alone? I don't know the meaning of the words." Soon she then brings Bexter out which made everyone but Kamala nervous. However, as soon as he started purring… "NO! That purr! Everyone, run!" Monica screamed as she and everyone but Kamala started running! "They don't understand you, Dexter, but I know you're a good cat." Jess told Dexter.

Soon, Jessica put up a bunch of signs to show that the cat that's up for adoption. Kamala then started to look around with concern and said, "I hate to admit this Jess, but maybe we should leave him." "Oh Kamala Khan, you talk crazy." Jess said. "Look at him, he looks like he wants to destroy everything he sees." Kamala gestured Dextered. "Nonsense, I'm sure someone will love Dexter." Jess said. She then spots a woman with her kid. "Hi, there! Interested in a sweet, adorable, cuddly little kitty?"

"Oh, I don't know. We're not much of an animal family." the Mother explained. "Well, having a cat like Dexter can teach your son all sorts of valuable life skills." Jessica said, soon the boy started petting Dexter, however he showed no personality from his purring. "Aw, I think he likes you." Jess said. 'Really?' Kamala thought. That's when the boy was about to touch his tail! "Uh Oh!" Kamala said with concern. Dexter snarled which scared the mother and her kid. "Wait! Please! Wait!" That's when Dexter starts acting up and is starting to get angry and clawing Jess. "Whoa! Ow!" Jessica tries to calm him down but keeps getting clawed.

Just as the cat was about the lunge at Jessica, one of the volunteers came in and wrapped him in a blanket.

"Jess, I told you to leave it alone! No one on Earth is going to adopt this cat!" Dewey yelled. "She's right Jess!" Kamala said as she then grabbed her by the collar and started slapping her. "NOT! EVERYONE! CAN! BE! SAVED!" she said with each slap. That's when an unusual person came in and picked it up. "My what a cutie." the weird person said. 'Wait he sounds similar.' Kamala was puzzled by something similar to him.

"Huh? How are you holding that cat?" Dewey asked. "Let's say I have a thing for animals." the mystery person said. "How much is this cat for?" he asked. Kamala gasped with horror as she figured it out. "Well, it's for…" Jess was about to say something until Kamala pulled Jess somewhere so that he wouldn't hear them. "You can't give the cat to him." Kamala demanded. "Why not we may be able to find Dexter an owner." Jess said. "Well, anyone but him." Kamala pointed. "That's the inventor!" she said as the inventor has his disguise in. "How do you know that?" Jess asked. "A superhero never forgets their first villain Jess." Kamala said. "He's a clone of Thomas Edison but with the head of a parakeet." she explained. "But she doesn't look like a parakeet." Jess said as she pointed out to his head being normal. "That's because it's a mask, but I could recognize his voice." Kamala said. "Anyway, the first time I tangoed with him, he experimented on animals, turning them into his mind controlling minions." Kamala explained. "What?! How horrible!" Jess said. "But luckily I managed to beat him, with a little help from Spider-Man." Kamala said. "But if he has Dexter he could turn him into some kind of psychotic robotic cat, with deadly claws." Kamala warned.

This really concerns Jess if the inventor could do something horrible to dexter she would get blamed for it. And thats when she decided on thisone thing! She marched to the mystery man and said, "Sorry, but this cat isn't for sale!" as she took Dexter out of his hands"But you said…" the mystery man was about to say something until… "Sorry, but Jess is looking for a home for him anyway." Dewey said. "Really?" Jess and Kamala said in unison but Jess said with excitement while Kamala said with shock. "Anyone but this guy."

Soon, the two piled into her car to find Dexter a good home. "So any ideas?" Kamala asked. "What you need is an owner with a strong will, a leader you can follow…" Jess told Dexter.

The next day, it Turns out, they had Diana in mind. "Certainly I will help this creature in need." Diana said. "I knew you'd be perfect for each other." Jess said. "He's strong and independent, just like you."

"Fear not, Jessica." Diana said. "Oftentimes I cared for others' animal companions in Themyscira. I even became known as the Minotaur whisperer." She stated. "Minotaurs?" Kamala asked. "You actually whisper to them?" She asked. "Indeed." Diana answered as Dexter muzzled her. She chuckled at the muzzle and said, "See? He is pleased." until she sniffles which causes chuckles nervously. But then she started sneezing like crazy. "What is this witchcraft?" Diana said. "Oh no!" Jess and Kamala said. "You're allergic to cats!" Jess asked as clearly Diana kept sneezing from Dexter. "AW Crap!" "Dexter, no! Get off of her! Get off!" Jess shouted. As soon as Diana was almost done sneezing out of control she yelled, "Remove this demon at once!"

At the next place…

"Maybe what you need is more traditional environment, a family structure to make you feel safe." Jess said. "But why her?" Kamala asked. What Kamala means is that she gestured to Babs. Babs was squealing with joy and said, "Jess, I've always wanted a cat! I'll call him Batkitten." "What not Batcat?" Jess asked. "No, that's dumb. Bat Kitten!" Babs answered. "Well I was 'Demon monster of night of the dark light…'" Kamala was about to come up with the name until Babs said, "Batkitten." 'Why do I even bother?' Kamala thought as she pouted. "Oh, I think we've found you the perfect owner, Dexter. Er... Batkitten." Jess complimented as she then chuckled. Kamala then looked up and panicked. "Uh oh Gordon!" she pointed. Babs turned around and it turns out Dexter was on the shelf of her collectables. Babs was starting to feel nervous and said, "Uh, careful, Batkitten, that's one of mommy's favorite Batman figurines!" "Geez, Babs! How many things do you have of the Gotham nut?" Kamala asked. "I've lost count!" Babs said. 'Unlike her I keep count of my captain marvel figures, 87 just in case someone was asking.' Kamala said to the screen' she said. Well um okay so anyway, Dexter then started knocking down most of Bab's figures. Babs freaked out as she quickly went in and grabbed them. "I got him!" Kamala stretched her hands to grab Dexter however he scratched them. "OW!" Kamala said as she reverted them back. Then Dexter went on to her very special one. Batkitten, don't even think about it. It took me thirty-two hours of painstaking-" However he knocked over anyway. "Batkitten, no!" as Babs went in to grab it…

Soon they brought Dexter over to Garth. "Maybe what you need is a real animal lover." Jess said. "He's cool with fish, right?" Garth asked. "Oh yeah I'm sure of…" Kamala then stopped as Dexter then ate Garth's goldfish! "Dammit!" Kamala said.

Soon they both decided to go to Hal. "Okay, so I have no reason to think this next one will be the perfect owner, but you never know!" Jessica said. "But are you sure about this?" Kamala asked. "Oh, sure I'll take him, I love these things. I'll teach him to catch a tennis ball, let him do his thing on a few hydrants." Hal said. "We're gonna bro-down hard. Right, D-money? Who's my D-money?" Hal said as he then closed his door. "Jess then sighed in relief believing it was over. "Glad it's over." Kamala said as she and Jess started to walk away. However, inside of Hal's house there was snarling and yelling and a lot of stuff going on clearly as it shows it didn't work!

Soon Jess and Kamala were at the park with Dexter just as they were ready to give up. That's when Gwen in her sports bra and shorts was running across the park doing her exercises until she spotted Kamala and Jess on the bench. "Oh hey girls." Gwen said as she stopped. "Hey Gwen." Kamala said. "How did it go with the FF against Doctor Doom?" she asked. "Was it hard?" she asked more. "Actually it was kind of easy." Gwen answered. She then noticed Dexter. "Whos this?" Gwen asked. "This is Dexter." Jess commented. "And we're trying to find him a home before…it's time." Sje explained. "Oh…" Gwen said as she couldn't get it, until a moment later, she said, "OH!" as she gets it now. "Well I uh…I'm sorry about that." Gwen said. "It's okay." Kamala said. "That cat looks like he doesn't want anything so…" Kamala said until Jess groaned and frustration and then said, "Don't worry, Dexter. We just need to cast a wider net, show the world how amazing you are!"

Turns out what Jessica had in mind was dressing up Dexter and making a video of him. But Dexter didn't like it very well. "Smile, Dexter. Once the world sees how amazingly cute you are, you'll get adopted in no time." Jess said but Dexter kept snarling. "Should we interfere?" Gwen asked. "Gwen, to be honest I don't even know anymore." Kamala said. That's when 2 girls came in. "Aw, look at his little hat." Olivia. "He's so cute. Can we get him, mommy, can we?" and then the people started crowding around Dexter.

"I guess it's working!" Gwen stated. However it started to get out of control as a huge crowd started to come in to Dexter. Jess being all nervous about this tried to settle the whole crowd down but with no luck. This made Dexter's eyes started to glow red. "What on earth is happening?" Gwen asked. Then, deep with space a strange red light came crashing down and hit the pet shop, as Dexter was hit by it, and began levitating!

"Look, mommy. He's levitating." Claira pointed. "That's not good!" Gwen said. That's when a red power ring started glowing and floating towards Dexter from the smoking crater, and thats when Jess noticed something, "Wait. Is that... a power ring?" She said, "But it's red." Gwen said. That's when a burst of red energy shot out and everyone started screaming. "How'd it…" Kamala asked but thats when Dexter in this strange suit started coming out of the smoke and was…

"So... you want to play dress-up with the sweet little kitty-cat, eh? How do you like... this outfit?" Dexter telepathically said. "D... Dexter?" Jess asked. "Dexter?" he telepathically said. He chuckled maliciously and said, "I'm afraid not. From this day forward I shall be known as Dex-Starr of the Red Lantern Corps!" "Red Lantern Corps?" The three girls said in unison. "Indeed. Our members are chosen from the angriest beings in the universe, and our rings are fueled by the red light of rage!" Dex-Starr explained telepathically. "First Green, then Violet, and now Red?" Kamala said. "What other colored lanterns are there, Yellow, Blue, Orange?" Kamala stated. "Now's not the time, Kamala." Gwen said to Kamala. "Jess, how could you let this happen?" she asked. "Oh, it was the bowtie, wasn't it? I knew that was too much." Jess said. Dex-Starr hissed with anger.

Jess than tried to come up with a plan, "Okay, Jimmy, we just have to get that ring off of his…" but that's when she spotted the ring on his… "tail." Jess said with disappointment. "Dammit!" Gwen said. Until Dex-Starr nearly shot them but they dodged. "Nice Kitty…" Jess whimpered, Dex-Star snarled with anger and telepathically said, "I am not a nice kitty!" He then started to retch. "Ew, better not be a hairball!" Kamala said. However it wasn't he spewed Lava. "I rather take a hairball!" Kamala said as she started running away from the lava. "Woah!" Gwen shouted as they all started to run as fast as they could. "Dexter, please! Let's talk about this!" Jess shouted. "Yes, let's talk." Gwen said. 'How can he even talk?' Gwen thought. "Yes, pretty please." Kamala cried.

"Wearing collars. Eating kibble. Forcing me into a forever home." Dex-Star telepathically said. "My forever home is suffering! My forever home is pain! And soon, yours will be, too!" he shouted telepathically as he then retched lava.

"Everyone, out the back! Go!" Jess shouted to the crowd. "Hurry!" Gwen shouted. "Run now!" Kamala shouted. That's when they made a dash again. "Is that everyone?" Gwen asked. "I think so." Kamala said. Until Dex-Starr appeared. "Uh, Oh!" Gwen said.

"Cat and mouse, children?" Dex-Starr telepathically asked. "Very well. Come back, scardy-cat." Dex-Starr declared as he laughed maliciously. "Meow?" he said, which made Jess gasp.

"You couldn't just leave it alone, could you? No, you don't know the meaning of those words!" Dex-Starr telepathically said. "This has to stop now." Gwen said. Just then, Jessica transformed into Green Lantern. Dex-Starr chuckled and telepathically said, "Well, then... It appears someone else has some new outfit, too." as he meant Jess's Green lantern uniform. "It's over, Dex-Starr. Hand me the ring." Green Lantern said.

Suddenly, a huge robot bursted out of the walls. "Uh Oh!" Kamala said. And that's when a certain cockatoo professor came out of the top, he squawked and said, "don't even think about it, he's mine!"

"EMBIGGEN!" Kamala who is now in her Ms. Marvel uniform jumped in and grew her feet big to kick the robot, which it crashed into the wall. "Ms. Marvel? I thought you were still in New York!" The inventor said. "What can I say, I always like to settle in new places." Ms. Marvel said. "Well, this time, your precious Spider-Man won't be here to help you this time." The Inventor said as he got his machine back up. "Oh, I have more friends than you think." Ms. Marvel said and that's when webs started to flung straight at the robot." Spider-Man?" the inventor squawked. And that's when Ghost-Spider appeared from her invisibility. "Guess again bird brain." Ghost-Spider said. "Jess, you handle Dex-Starr, Kamala and I got Nigel." She told Green Lantern as she went into battle with the inventor with Ms. Marvel. "Right!" Green Lantern said.

Sooner than Later, Ms. Marvel and Ghost-Spider were teaming up to take on The Inventor and his giant robot while Green Lantern was running away. "You could never escape me. I am the ultimate hunter." Dex-Starr declared.

That's when Green Lantern created a cat toy, making Dex-Starr's feline instincts kick in, however he snapped out of it as she snarled and destroyed the cat toy. "Enough! Let's see how you like being toyed with." Dex-Starr said.

That's when he sliced open bags of kitty litter and started running around, creating a massive sandstorm in the store! Green Lantern was coughing until Dex-Starr created a distraction for Jess. However she managed to snap out of it and created a fan to clear it all away by creating a hurricane.

Then the hurricane was spinning out of control around the pet store and was all cleared. Meanwhile, Ms. Marvel and Ghost-Spider were teaming up to take on the inventor and they were evenly matched. Until the Inventors mech suit started firing lasers, Gwen used her spider sense to dodge them all and then spun long webs, then stored them with her bio-energy to form this energy flaring whips and whipped the mech suit! "Wow, when did you learn that?" ms. Marvel asked by amazement. "Been practicing." Ghost-Spider said. "Along with this!" Ghost-Spider said as she powered her web shooter with her bio energy and shot a rapid shot of webs filled with bio energy and were hitting The Inventor's mechs like cannonballs. The inventor soon was pushed back to the window and fell out of it. "Gwendy, haven't I told you that it's great that you have Bio energy." Ms. Marvel complimented her and her Bio-energy, however the sand storm started to kick in. Which Green Lantern was able to catch up with the duo, and that's when Gwen noticed the exit.

"Ms. M, G.L, the exit, come on!" Ghost-Spider shouted. "Right behind you Gwen." Green Lantern said. "Roger that Ghost-Spider!" Ms. Marvel said. Soon, they escaped from the store, where nearly half the parking lot was full of sand, which made Green Lantern cough. "Okay, I don't know about you, but I had enough of this!" Ms. Marvel said as she dusted off her uniform. "Me too, it's like fighting Sandgirl again." Ghost-Spider said as she removed the sand from her croc sandal. That's when Dex-Starr appeared. " And now, Green Lantern, it seems it is almost your "time." Then, this whole stinking planet will be my forever home!" Dex-Star declares he then attacks them with flaming construct fangs. Green Lantern used her ring powers to catch them, then Ghost-Spider used her webbing to web up Dex-Starr's mouth. Green Lantern then created a blanket to hold Dex-Starr in place. "Give me the ring!" Green Lantern shouted as she grabbed his tail. "My tail!" Dex-Starr furiously said in telepathy and started snarling.

"Be careful G.L!" Ms. Marvel cried.

That's when he started rampaging all over the parking lot, destroying things, as Green Lantern hung on to his tail, as the Red Lantern cat crashed into the pet shop. Luckily, Green Lantern was able to get the ring off his tail and finally, Dex-Starr is back to Dexter. "Jess!" Ms. Marvel said as she and Ghost-Spider ran to Jess. "you got the ring, nice!" Ghost-Spider said. Ms. Marvel then turned her head to see that the mech was still here but the inventor wasn't. 'Really? You couldn't just write him a little more?' Kamala looked up to the screen. "I mean, the inventor he's gone!" Ms. Marvel pointed. "We're did he go?" Jess asked. "Right now, Don't know, and Don't care." Ghost-Spider said. "I'm going need a shower after I get home." she stated as she was still covered with sand. She then spun a web and started to swing away. "See ya Gwendy!" Ms. Marvel shouted. "Jess? Is there something wrong?" She asked Jess holding Dexter. "Aw, Dex. What are we gonna do with you?" Green lantern asked. "Well, I'm sure you can think of something for Dexter." Ms. Marvel said.

Soon...

"Okay, Dexter. It's almost time…" Jess said softly until…the bell rings "...for dinner!" Jess said with excitement. Turns out, Jessica decided to adopt Dexter! As Kamala was visiting to check on her and Dexter. "Well, what do you think? Am I the perfect owner or what?" Jess asked as she gave the food to Dexter, however he knocked it away. "Oh, you!" Jess said as she grabbed it. 'Well…not exactly what I had in mind.' Kamala said to the screen as she grinned and shrugged her shoulders

Author (Me): Just a heads up, I am super attached to this second part of the Ghost-Spider story that I couldn't think much of the prime fighters, so consider Skylanders P.R.I.M.E fighters cancelled…

Ms. marvel: Yeah, because we all know this is the best story from my favortie and besides he's already decided to work on another crossover adventure with…

Author (Me): Um so yeah, anyway, just got to finish up Ben 10 x MMPR real soon, along with more Ghost-Spider, Ms. Marvel and the Superhero girls real soon.
