The Red Dawn Moves Forward
Land of Fire, Konoha, Hokage Building, Hokage's Office
Hiruzen looked at the report that Kakashi had sent him and frowned. "So Yagura is drawing them in," he said before a knock came at his office door. "Come in," Hiruzen called out as his former students entered.
"What do you need Sensei?" Tsunade asked the man.
Hiruzen looked at the two before he showed them the report. "I'm sending the two of you to the Land of Water to aid the rebels, as Yagura is trying to draw them somewhere," he told the two, who narrowed their eyes.
Jiraiya looked at the report. "So Yagura is using his ANBU trio, " he said as Tsunade looked at him.
"ANBU trio?" She asked him.
"Yagura has three ANBU who have been born with three elements, Enrage, who has Katon, Raiton, and Inton; then their is Comedy, who has Suiton, Raiton, and Inton, and finally Tragedy, and she has Fuuton, Raiton, and Inton," Jiraiya explained to Tsunade who nodded.
"Can they combine their elements together?" Hiruzen asked the sage.
"I think so," Jiraiya answered the Sandaime Hokage.
"Then it would be better if the two of you went over there and aided them," he told the two, who nodded at him.
"We'll head out now," Tsunade told him as the man's former two students walked out.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Haruna asked from the side of the room, helping fill out paperwork.
"Yes, this way, Konoha and Kiri build a good reputation for working together; we stop Obito's smokescreen, and then we can pick up a trail," Hiruzne said as Haruna nodded at him. And if we get it right, we could also focus on making sure that when the leaders of the other kingdoms turn up along with the daimyō," he told the former Hokage, who nodded her head.
"And with both of us, we can explain what is going on," She added, with Hiruzen nodding.
"Right," He said as he looked out the window and saw Jiraiya and Tsunade walking out to gather their things.
Land of Rain, Ame, Pain's Tower
Obito sat in the tower as his forces were gathered, and he looked at them.
The first was the one that he had as the fake leader. Or rather, one part of him had medium-length, spiky orange hair. His eyes were purple with concentric circles; the Rinnegan bore six piercings, a metal bar through each ear, three studs through the side of its upper nose, and one spike stud on each end of the bottom lip. It also had three piercings on each wrist, at least one on its upper wrist and some just under its neck. His face also became a little pale. He wore a purplish-grey ring on his right thumb that bore the kanji for "zero" (零). He also wore a necklace similar to the Sage of the Six Paths. He was also seen wearing red nail polish. He wore the same cloak as Obito, a whole-body black cloak with red clouds.
The next was the fake leader's right hand and wife. She had short, straight blue hair with a bun, grey eyes with lavender eye shadow, and a white labret piercing. Her eyelashes are diagonal lines at the bottom corner of her eyes. She has a large light blue paper flower clipped on her bun. Her facial expression was neutral. She wore the same cloak as Obito and her husband and a ring on her right middle finger, the kanji meaning "white" (白), with white high heels, inverting the organisation's standard colour scheme. She also wore orange nail polish.
Next was a man with slanted blue eyes, thick black lines under them, and long golden-blond hair, which he wore in a half ponytail with the rest hanging down freely. He had a mouth on both of his palms, and his blond hair was tied into a lower ponytail, along with an Iwa forehead protector that was slashed out. After joining Obito's group, he wore their signature cloak, navy blue pants with matching shinobi sandals, and a ring on his right index finger, which bore the kanji for "blue" (青) and was teal. He also wore black nail polish on his fingers and toes.
After him was a man with medium-length grey hair slicked back and distinctive purple eyes. He wore no shirt but bore the organisation's cloak, which he kept slightly open, revealing his slashed-out Yugakure forehead protector around his neck and Jashin amulet. He also wore dark green nail polish and an orange ring on his left index finger, which bears the kanji for "three" (三). He had a Triple-Bladed Scythe on his back.
Then, there was a tall and fit man with a pale complexion, no hair, and a horizontal scar that ran from his right temple to the bridge of his nose. He lacked any teeth, and his right arm had been amputated up to the bicep. He had a pair of Sharingan activated, wearing the organisation's standard cloak and a slashed Konoha forehead protector. On his right ring finger was his ring, which was red and bore the kanji for "vermilion" (朱). He wore light blue nail polish on his fingers and toes.
Then there was a very tall man who quickly stood as the second tallest member of the organisation, a tan-skinned man with long dark-brown hair. His eyes had an unusual colouring: green irides, no pupils and red sclerae. He wore a black mask over his lower face, and he also had a grey hood which covered his hair. His clothing included the traditional cloak, the Takigakure forehead protector with a scratch in the middle, symbolising he was no longer loyal to it, and grey pants with matching shinobi sandals. He wore brown nail polish and a dark green Akatsuki ring with the kanji for "north" (北) on his left middle finger.
After him, he was a very tall, muscular shinobi and the tallest member. He had a distinctive shark-like appearance, complete with pale, blue-grey skin. He has small, round, white eyes, three sets of curved facial markings under his eyes, and sharp, triangular teeth. He also styled his blue hair in the form of a shark fin. Like the others, he wore dark purple nail polish. He wore a modified version of Kirigakure's forehead protector, covering his ears. He also wore the same black cloak with red clouds as the others, and he had a brown sash across the front and back of his cloak to hold his sword in place. His forehead protector was slashed across the symbol. He wore his ring on his left ring finger, bearing the kanji for "south" (南), which was yellow.
The next member had wide, greyish-brown eyes and short, mousy red hair. He was usually seen with a hazy, dreamy look on his face. He wore his cloak and a purple ring on his left thumb that bears the kanji for "jewel" (玉). He also wore teal nail polish on his fingernails. Even though he still possessed his Sunagakure forehead protector that was slashed out in the middle, he kept it on his person instead of wearing it.
The last member was Zetsu.
Obito listened as the leader he had put in charge gave the orders: "Shin, Kisame, once the Chūnin exams are over, the two of you are to head to Konoha and gather information on them," the puppet leader said as the man with the Sharingan and the shark-like man nodded.
"Sasori, Deidara, head over to the Land of Keys and make sure to pressure the daimyō into paying us more money by guarding his lands," He told the red-haired teen along with the blond.
The man gave out more orders before he walked over to Obito, who watched as all the members left. "So how are things in Kiri going?" the blue-haired woman asked him.
"They are going well. Konoha and the Rebels have taken Yagura's ten camps, and they started to make plans to go after the three store houses next before moving onto the four prisons," Obito said as both the woman and the man nodded at him.
"Who leads the three?" The orange-haired man asked him.
"Enrage, otherwise known as Rekka Hoshimiya," Obito said as the blue-haired woman raised a brow.
"The Hoshiken of Suna?" She asked him as Obito nodded.
"Yep, he also has Shakuton. Yagura knows but is keeping him as the ANBU because he is powerful," Obito told them as they nodded at him. "Then we have Haumea, who goes by Tragedy," he added as the two looked confused.
"She is a missing-nin of Kumo, also known as the Kurutta Kaminari," Obito explained to them as they nodded.
"I heard that her Raiton is so strong that she can use it to set things on fire," the orange-haired man said as Obito nodded.
"And who is Comedy?" The woman asked him.
"The missing-nin of Yuki, Ming-Hua, she is said to be from a group of people that can use the flow of an energy within them to move water around them," Obito explained as they nodded at him.
"That's good. With how things are proceeding, we will be able to achieve the peace that we want and unite the world," the man said as Obito looked at him.
"Yes, and with this piece we shall break down the borders off the other villages and show the world what needs to happen," Obito said before teleporting away and appearing into a cave as Zetsu appeared out of the ground next to him.
"I can't believe that Nagato is still living and that we'll bring peace to the world," The white half of Zetsu said as Obito laughed.
"To turn," Obito said as they walked into the cave and looked over a lake where hundreds of thousands of White Zetsu stood attached to a large root.
"How did the meeting with Danzo go?" The black half of Zetsu asked the man, who turned to the plan-human.
"He as agreed to aid us in taking Naruto Uzumaki out of Konoha, but I do not think he will go though with the deal, and that is why I have started to implement my own actions into his Root," Obito said as the two walked over to a chair made out of the roots of a massive tree.
"Oh, and what are you planning to do with them?" The White Zetsu asked him.
Obito seemed to think for a little bit before he nodded to himself, "I shall have them slowly integrate themselves back into Konoha and then destroy it from the""I think not, Obito," Obito said before he was cut off by a voice he remembered.
He turned to see Artemis and her hunters aiming their bows at the two of them.
"Kushina," Obito said as he looked at the moon goddess.
"Hello, you filth," she growled at him as the Uchiha looked around. "Do not think about it," Artemis told him as Obito looked confused.
"Don't think what?" He asked her.
"I know that you have a way to escape, and did you really think that the two of you could just leave here after we revealed ourselves?" Artemis told him as he looked at her before his visible eye widened, and Zetsu could not move.
"What have you done?" Obito asked the goddess, who smiled at him.
"Did you forget what clan I was raised in? Now then take to take revenge for my husband, girls," Artemis called out as they all aimed their arrows at Obito.
And they all let their arrows loose as they flew forward.
Obito saw his life and goal flash before his eyes as he tried to move. Then a voice filled his head: "I guess I shall step in now. " A portal made out of pure darkness swallowed Obito, Zetsu, and all the white Zetsu, leaving the goddess and her hunters in shock.
"My lady was that," One of them asked as the moon goddess nodded.
"END, he's not free, yet, but he is slowly breaking his chains if he can do this," Artemis told them before she looked at her hunters. "Spread the word, each of you, to all kingdoms, let them know that END's chains are nearly broken," she told her hunters, who all rushed off as Artemis flashed away.
Two Days Later, Land of Water, Main Island, Rebel Basecamp, Leader's Tent
Kakashi, Mei, Asuma, Zabuza, and Kuenai were looking over the map. "The forces of Kiri have been divided for for the last two days as the Azure Prison on Dragon point have been getting attacked from the sea," Mei told them as they all looked at her.
"Do we know who?" Zabuza asked as he looked at the prison's location on the map.
"From what the reports have been saying, they were, and I'm quoting here, Merpeople," Mei told them as Asuma looked at Kakashi.
"Shall I get Naruto in here?" He asked the one-eyed man.
Kakashi nodded his head, and Asuma walked out. "Why is he getting your student?" Mei asked the man.
"You do know that Naruto's abilies don't come from chakra right?" Kurenai said as Mei looked at her before she looked at Zabuza and Kakashi.
"Merpeople are real?" She asked with a look of pure disbelief.
"Oh, yeah," Kakashi told her as Asuma returned with the blond. "Naruto, where is the Merpeople kingdom?" he asked his student, who looked confused before he cupped his chin and closed his eyes.
"Or any races that live in water for that matter," Zabuza asked.
"Well, I know that the Sea Elves are off the coast of the Land of Lightning, the Fishmen live on the seabed, and I think Atlantis is somewhere underwater within the Land of Water," Naruto said before he looked at them with a look that Kakashi read.
"It seems that the Merpeople have been attacking one of Yagura's prisons while we're coming up with a plan," Kakashi explained as Naruto nodded.
"Ok, do you want me to check the waters? I can turn into a fish or any other sea animal, and I can swim over," he asked them as Kakashi thought momentarily.
"Can you turn others into sea animals as well?" He asked his student.
"Yeah, I can use Wild Shape on myself and then use Polymorph to change someone else into the same animal as well," Naruto explained to his sensei, who nodded.
"Right, how many people can you cast Polymorph on?" Zabuza asked as they started to get an idea.
"Three, why?" Naruto asked as the swordsman looked at Mei.
"You head over with the kid along with two others so you can meet them," Zabuza said as Mei looked at him. She nodded and called Haku and Kakashi to join her as they walked onto the water.
Naruto looked at the three and held out his hand as the three people started to glow before Haku and Mei were turned into dolphins. In contrast, Kakashi was turned into a shakra, and Naruto turned into a shark before they swam off.
"I've got to lay off the drink in the afternoon," A man said as he looked at the bottle.
Spells and Other Stuff
Wild Shape - D&D - Starting at 2nd level, you can use your action to magically assume the shape of a beast that you have seen before. You can use this feature twice. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest. The Beast Shapes table shows that your druid level determines the beasts you can transform into. At 2nd level, for example, you can transform into any beast with a challenge rating of 1/4 or lower and no flying or swimming speed. While you are transformed, the following rules apply: 1) The statistics of the beast replaces your game statistics, but you retain your alignment, personality, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. You also retain all of your skill and saving throw proficiencies, in addition to gaining those of the creature. If the creature has the same proficiency as you and the bonus in its stat block is higher than yours, use the creature's bonus instead of yours. If the creature has any legendary or lair actions, you can't use them. 2)When you transform, you assume the beast's hit points and Hit Dice. When you revert to your standard form, you return to the number of hit points you had before transforming. However, suppose you revert due to dropping to 0 hit points. In that case, any excess damage carries over to your standard form. For example, if you take 10 damage in animal form and have only 1 hit point left, you revert and take 9 damage. You aren't knocked unconscious if the excess damage doesn't reduce your standard form to 0 hit points. 3) You can't cast spells, and your ability to speak or take any action that requires hands is limited to the capabilities of your beast form. Transforming doesn't break your concentration on a spell you've already cast, however, or prevent you from taking actions that are part of a spell, such as Call Lightning, that you've already cast. 4) You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source. You can use them if the new form is physically capable. However, you can't use special senses, such as dark vision, unless your new form also has that sense. 5) You choose whether your equipment falls to the ground in your space, merges into your new form, or is worn by it. Worn equipment usually functions, but the DM decides whether it is practical for the new form to wear a piece of equipment based on the creature's shape and size. Your equipment doesn't change size or shape to match the new form, and any equipment the new form can't wear must either fall to the ground or merge. Equipment that merges with the form has no effect until you leave the form.
Polymorph - D&D - This spell transforms a creature you can see within range into a new form. An unwilling creature must make a Wisdom saving throw to avoid the effect. The spell does not affect a shapechanger or a creature with 0 hit points. The transformation lasts for the duration or until the target drops to 0 hit points or dies. The new form can be any beast whose challenge rating is equal to or less than the target's (or the target's level, if it doesn't have a challenge rating). The target's game statistics, including mental ability scores, are replaced by the statistics of the chosen beast. It retains its alignment and personality. The target assumes the hit points of its new form. When it reverts to its standard form, the creature returns to the number of hit points it had before transforming. Any excess damage reaches its standard form if it reverts due to dropping to 0 hit points. As long as the excess damage doesn't reduce the creature's standard form to 0 hit points, it isn't knocked unconscious. The creature is limited in its actions by the nature of its new form, and it can't speak, cast spells, or take any other action that requires hands or speech. The target's gear melds into the new form. The creature can't activate, use, wield, or otherwise benefit from any of its equipment.
