"I can't believe it." Qrow said after Maria had finished her story on how she lost her eyes. "You... You're the Grimm Reaper, you were a legend! And then you disappeared..." He said, astonished at the news. I had no idea who she was, but from her story, and Qrow's reaction, she was a big deal.

"How exactly does a legend just disappear?" Oscar asked as he looked at Maria.

"You never used your name, never showed your face." Qrow said, where we looked at him. "Lots of us thought you were just layin' low. Eventually, we just came to accept that you were probably dead." He said, wirh me lookinf back at Maria. "But the stories about you, I based my weapon off of yours. I wanted to be as good as the Grimm Reaper." He finished, where she reached for her cane, but stopped before she could.

"Well, I'm nothing but a disappointment, so you're well on your way." She said, where I narrowed my rues at her.

"How can you say that?" Blake spoke before I could. She had answers to my training and Ruby's eye magic. She was FAR from a disappointment to us.

"Child, a Huntress is supposed to protect others to the bitter end." She said as she looked off into the distance. "But after I lost my eyes, I abandoned my team... the Jedi's I had mentioned before, and only ever looked after myself." She said, making me frown at that. "Even after my surgery, I was too afraid to fight. Afraid someone would find me again, finish what the others started. You shouldn't aspire to be like me, especially when some of you are clearly stronger already." She said as she looked back at the rest of us.

"Trust me, there are plenty of things that we still need to reach for, each of us." I said as I looked at the others. "I know I do, and I know some of you feel the same." I said, with Ruby noddjng her head frantically.

"It's... comforting, seeing that your generation seems up to the task of inheriting this world. I'm just sorry I didn't do more to leave it in better shape." Maria said as she looked away in shame.

"Well, maybe you can do something now. Teach me to use my powers the way you did, teach Dakota-

Ruby's scroll's ringtone interrupted her, where Ruby pulls her scroll out and gasps in excitement.

"It's Jaune!" She yelled, where Yang stops her bike, looking back in surprise. This was surprising seeing as we needed to be close in order to get a signal from the other.

"How?" Weiss asked as she looked at me, where I shrugged as I didnt know.

Ruby answered the call, placing it to her hear. "Uh, hello?" Ruby asked as she didnt know what to expect. "The city? Wait..." Ruby said as she looks to her Scroll. She pointed her scroll towards the direction we were going, and something told me the signal was getting better. Looking in the direction, I could see a hill where the snow ends.

Yang proceeds forward to drive us up the hill. At the top of the hill, the we see a walled city in the distance along the ocean.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived in Argus." Yang said as she looked back at us, smiling.

Later

Having pulled into a garage, Yang locked it up as we waited for her. In all honesty, we took the time to admire our surroundings. "Cute! Boy! OZ!!!" We heard skmeone yell, with us looking over at Nora as she points her finger at us. The next second, Nora tackled hugged him. "Oh, come here!" She said as she broke his back with the hug.

Jaune and Lie Ren arrived not long after. "Are you all okay?" Ren asked as he hugs Yang, who returned the hug.

"We were so worried!" Jaune said as he hugs Blake, though it was a side hug.

"It's been kind of a crazy trip." Yang said as she broke the hug and looked at the others.

"That's an understatement." Weiss said as she walked over to Blake and Jaune.

"Wait, who's the old lady?" Nora asked as she looked at Maria, who was walking next to me over to the group.

"Maria, my teacher, hopefully." I said as I looked down at her, with her nodding.

"Yeah, might as well. Need to make a Jedi out of you!" She said as she hit my leg with her cane.

"I'm so glad you're all safe." Blake said as she looked at everyone.

"Seriously..." Weiss said, a small smile making its way to her face.

"Ah! You're gonna love this place!" Nora said as she jumped up in excitement.

"Yeah... but something feels familiar." I said as I looked around. "Why does it feel like ive been here before?" I asked, with then looking at me.

"Well, you would have to take the train from Vale to here, then get a lift to Atlas, so maybe thats if?" Weiss said, with me looking at her.

"Maybe." I said as we started walking away from the garage. We made our way to a trolley, which was our transportation through the ciry. It was fun, and everyone was excited.

"It's a lot bigger than I remember." I said, trying to feel like I've been here before but I couldn't help but feel right and wrong at the same time.

"It's actually one of the largest non-capital cities in all of Remnant." Ren said as we stepped off the trolley.

"No way! But wait, wouldn't it be harder to settle something this big away from the main Kingdom?" Ruby asked as she looked at him.

"Well, it was, until Mantle showed up." Jaune informed, making it sound like he knew this place by heart. "Early settlement attempts by Mistral didn't go well. But colonists from Mantle were able to help them brave the cold climate and return for goods that Solitas couldn't provide." He informed, with me nodding at the information.

"The two nations worked together to create a hybrid city. While it falls under Mistral domain, Atlas keeps a military presence here to help keep the people safe and keep trade between the two nations steady." Ren informed, where I got a bad feeling as he mentioned the Atlas military.

"Well, until recently..." Nora added, not sounding too happy about it either.

"We should probably start looking for a ship." Blake suggested, with me looking at her.

"If it comes down to it, I can just use the force to take us all there." I said sarcastically, with her giving me a sour look. "Sorry, bad joke, I don't want another headach." I said as I shook my head.

"So, where have you guys been staying?" Oscar asked Jaune as he looked up at him.

Jaune chuckled nervously as he was asked that question. "There you are!" Someone called out, with us looking over at the woman across the street, who was holding a baby in her arms. She was waving, but once she saw me her smile was replaced with a look of shock.

"Is that...?" Yang asked as she was a little excited.

"Hey, Saph." Jaune said, but he looked confused at her expression. Ruby then zooms in, all starry-eyed. She looks back and forth between Jaune and Saphron, and gasps upon realizing who the woman is.

Saphron walked over to us, her eyes never leaving me as she did. She stopped a few feet from me, her eyes examining me from head to toe. "Are you... Dakota?" She asked, confusing us on how she knew me.

"I am." I answered with a raised eyebrow. "Have we met?" I asked, with her shaking her head at me.

"No, but I used to date your sister, Rika." She said, shocking everyone here at what she said.

"I'm sorry, WHAT!?" We all yelled, where the baby started crying.

"Ah, sorry! I guess she never told you!" Saphron said, shaking the baby in her arms.

"Thats not something that two family member drop onto the other when they want tk kill the other!?" Yang yelled as she pointed at me.

"What? Why would she try to kill you?" Saphron asked as she tilted her head. "She kept tabs on you, talked about you, and when you started training to become a huntsman, she started her training up again as well, even left on a journey... That was the last I heard from her actually." She said, with Jaune getting in her face.

You mean that Rika, the same girl who babysat me, was THE Rika!? The wanted criminal known as Revan!?" Jaune questioned, with me looking at him.

"Seriously? What was she like back then?" I asked, with Saphron looking from Jaune to me.

"She was a big emo, like, hated everything and everyone, refused to hold up a weapon, but her semblance was powerful, she could move stuff with her mind!" She said with a smile. "How about I tell you more when we get to the house?" She asked, with me nodding and following her, where the others did the same.

Later

We reconvened in a living room at the home of Saphron. "I can't believe I'm meeting your sister! I have so many questions, about both of your sisters really." Ruby said as she looked at Jaune, then me as I leaned against the wall.

"Oh, I can give you the rundown later about Jaune's sister!" Nora said as she held her hand up in excitement.

"Will you guys knock it off?" Jaune said as he looked at them.

"What? I love telling stories about my baby brother." Saphron said as she squeezes Jaune's cheek.

Jaune was groaning while also flailing his arms at his elder sister. "I am not a baby! That is a baby." Jaune said as he points at Adrian, who huffs back at him. Yang and Weiss get all wide-eyed as they fuss over Adrian. Both of them make baby talk at him.

"Aww, you're so cute! Yes you are! Oh, look at your little face!"

"Aww, coochie-coochie! Aw, baby! Oh my!"

"So Saphron, you're the only Arc living here?" Blake asked as she looked over at the family photo that was on the shelf. The picture on the bookshelf of the Arc siblings all together had a the young Jaune at the center with pigtails and a deadpan expression while holding a sign that says "HELP" on it while his sisters do various crazy things around him.

"Yep! Moved the second I could. Jaune and I are the only two living away from home." She said in a teasing voice. "I guess he just wanted to be like his big sis." She said as she poked his face ocer and over again.

"I, uh..."

"Aw, you didn't deny it!" Saphron said as the two siblings play fight with each other by pulling each other's cheeks. Then, a door is heard opening. A dark-haired woman with glasses is seen walking in with bags of groceries. "Everyone, this is my wife, Terra Cotta." She introduced, with us looking at her as she walked into the room.

"Hello!" Ruby said with a wave.

"Hey there!" Nora said as if she had yet to meet the woman.

"Nice to meet you." Blake said with a nod.

"Why, hello there!" Terra said as she had her hands full with bags. "Wow, quite a party, you weren't kidding. Hun, can I get some help please?" She asked, with me holding my hand out and taking the bags from her. Everyone watched as the contents jn the bags flew to the kitchen and were put away one by one as the befs were put into the trash.

"And you're sure it's alright if we stay with you?" Weiss asked as she looked at Saphron, who nodded.

"Of course, we're happy to house Huntsmen and Huntresses." She said as she looked to Terra, who was looking on in shock.

"Sorry, but was that the same semblance as your ex?" Terra asked, looking at me.

"My sister, yes. I only found out that she dated her as well." I said, with the others nodding.

"Ah, I almost forgot!" Sephron said, before looking at me. "Lets see... Rika and I first met when I was around... ten or eleven. She was extremely quiet, it wasnt until years later that she first spoke, and she kicked the ass of everyone who tried taking to her, so that didn't help her case." She said with a nervous laugh. "It wasn't until around sixteen that she finally spoke, and it was after Junepe and his group kept harassing me." She said as Jaune tilted his head.

"Thats why he was in the hospital?" Jaune asked, with Sephora nodding.

"Yeah, he and everyone else. Reached somewhere he shouldn't." Sephron said, where all the girls got a dark look on their faces. "Broke every limb, broke some ribs, even their jaws. She was brutal, but the fact that she help me awoken something in me. It was when I started liking girls." She said, laughing while placing her hands on her cheeks. "Then she asked, "Hey, you okay?" While covered in their blood and I was like a total wreck!" She said as we all looked at her like she lost a few screws.

"That doesn't sound like Rika." I said, with her pointing at me, a smirk on her face.

"Because you never got the chance to know her like I did!" Sephron said, with me glaring at her.

"She slaughtered my entire family, does that sound like the kind of person who would help someone!?" I yelled, but stopped once I realized why she did it. "Yeah... I guess you're right." I said as I looked away from her.

"Why the sudden change in attitude?" Sephron asked while tilting her head.

"Yeah... we sort of found out why Rika killed her family." Ruby said as she looked away from everyone.

"Rika ran into... someone really bad, and was ordered to give Dakota to her as a child. When she told her family, they were more than willing to give him up." Blake said as she walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder, with me looking at her. "So, to protect him, she killed everyone and told them that she killed everyone, including Dakota." Blake informed, making me sigh.

"I still don't like to believe it." I said, where I could believe it, but just didn't like it.

"Was it her care giver, Salem?" Sephron asked, with all of us looking at her with wide eyes. "I never met her, but Rika ran away from her and stopped using her family weapon for a long time, and only relied on her fists and her semblance for a while. From what Rika said, she was very abusive." She added, with us looking at eachother.

"Yeah, that's her." I said, with everyone looking at me. "We haven't met her either, but when we do, we will have to stop her... she is behind a criminal organization that is going around attacking huntsman, even those in training. We've fought some of her minions, but we don't know who all to look out for." I said, with her nodding.

"Sounds terrible." Terra said, with us nodding as it was, especially seeing as I kept some important information from them.

"Again, thank you for letting us stay." Ruby said, smiling as she changed rhe subject.

"You all risk so much to keep people like us safe. It's the least we can do." Sephron said, before turning to Qrow. "Especially for such an elite Huntsman like yourself. Although, I will say I was surprised to learn you had students helping you. Is that even... legal?" She asked, curious.

Qrow, not paying attention, gets his arm bumped by his niece. "Uh, of course. Think of it as an extended training mission. Trust me, I was a professor. Even went to the same academy as them. Let me tell ya, these kids are way better than we were at their age." He said, with me shrugging as I didn't really know how strong I was back then. "Well, not better than me specifically, but a lot of students-"

"No need to gloat." I said, with him closing his mouth.

Saphron and Terra share a look with each other, before the latter's Scroll is heard buzzing. "Excuse me, I'll be right back." Terra said with a sigh as she gets up and answers her Scroll and walks out of the room.

"Is everything okay?" Blake asked, looking from Terra to Sephron.

"Oh, yeah, it will be." Sephron said as she looked at Blake and then back at Terra. "Terra's a technician for the town's relay tower. Unfortunately, the military's radar system is also housed there." She said as she picked Adrian up and sat him on her lap and made baby talk to him. "Guess what's been on the fritz lately and who's getting falsely blamed."

"Me." We heard Terra whisper, with all of us looking at her.

"So, what's your plan for tomorrow?" Sephron asked as she looked at us.

Well... We're trying to make our way to Atlas. We'll probably start with the military base." Ruby said, with me looking at her as that was the plan.

At this, Nora and Ren share concerned looks. "So, we kind of already tried that, and... it didn't go... super great." Jaune said nervously, with me raising an eyebrow at this.

"Come on, it couldn't be that bad." Yang said, with me getting a bad feeling.

The next day

We walked up to the Atlesian Military base on the island off the coast of Argus, only for the gates to abruptly close on us before we could even enter. This annoyed me greatly.
