Episode 77: A Six Pack Attack!
Today, Mew and her friends are now making plans to go to their next destination. Now that Mew has earned the Balance Badge from Norman, it's off to the next gym.
"Only three badges to go. And once I've got all eight, I can enter the Hoenn League," Mew says.
"Pika Pika," (We're almost there.) Pikachu says.
Eevee then asks, "Vee Eevee?" (Where do we go next?)
"We're going to Fortree Gym in Fortree," Mew says.
"Fortree City is pretty far from here," Zinnia says.
"That's true, but first, we're going to see Professor Birch," Mew says.
"That's right," Max says.
"We all agree to stop by Professor Birch," May says.
The group soon looks to see Professor Birch's Lab, high on the top of the hill.
"There it is," Tomo says.
"Just one climb up and we'll be there," Mew says.
"I wonder what Professor Birch is up to," Molly asks.
"I'm sure I can guess, running around the mountains doing field work," May says.
"I've never met him, so I'm not sure what's he like," Zinnia says.
"You'll like him. Professor Birch is a fun guy to be with," Mew says.
Just then, they hear an engine revving before they see a jeep jumping a ledge and coming down towards them. The jeep lands and screeches to a stop.
And soon, they see Professor Birch in the jeep, "Hey! Good to see you all!"
"Professor Birch?" The group reacts in surprise.
Professor Birch asks, "What brings you all to my neck of the woods?"
"We were about to go to Fortree City, but we wanted to stop by and say hi," May says.
"Well, that was thoughtful," Prof. Birch says.
Then notices Zinnia, "And I see you have a new friend to your group."
"Right. Professor Birch, this is Zinnnia. Zinnia, this is Professor Birch," Mew says.
"Hello. It's nice to meet you," Zinnia says.
"It's nice to meet you too," Prof. Birch says.
"So where are you going in such a big rush, Professor?" Mew asks.
"I told Professor Oak that I'd meet up with him down at the port," Prof. Birch says.
"Professor Oak's here?" Molly asks, amazed.
"But, I got caught up in my field work and I lost track of time, so I'm trying to make up for lost time, by putting the pedal to the metal," Prof. Birch says, and laughs while everyone else sweat drops, "It's my first time meeting him, so I better scoot."
"Mind if we tag along?" Tomo asks.
Sure, anyone who can, climb aboard," Prof. Birch says.
Soon, Brock, Tomo, Zinnia and Mew climb on the jeep. May, Max, Jen, and Molly stay behind.
"How about we meet you at the lab," Mew says.
"No problem," May says.
"See you guys later," Zinnia says.
Then the jeep drives off to meet Professor Oak.
May, Max, Jen, and Molly wave goodbye, "See you soon!"
Soon, the jeep is no longer in sight.
Max then screams in excitement, "Wow! I can't believe I'm going to meet Professor Oak in person!"
Up ahead, everyone is riding in the jeep as Professor Birch drives.
Tomo soon notices, "Look over there, a Skarmory!"
"Strange to see one perched up there," Prof. Birch says. Then calls out, "Hello, up there, Skarmory!"
Everyone continues riding along until they see something coming in their direction.
Zinnia calls out, "Look out, Professor Birch! Camerupt coming this way!"
Prof. Birch looks ahead and barely manages to avoid a collision.
"That was close," Mew says, tired.
"Too close," Zinnia says.
"Oh well. Sorry about that," Prof. Birch says and chuckles.
Then continue driving. However, known to them, Professor Oak is riding on the back of the cart Camerupt is pulling.
"Meanwhile, at the lab, May, Max, Jen, and Molly are playing with the new Torchic, Mudkip, and Treecko, reserved for new trainers. Joshua is with them too as the kids look at the Pokemon.
"Aw, they're so cute," Max says.
"They're so adorable," Jen says.
"Remember them, May. They're for the new Trainers," Joshua says.
"I remember, I got my Torchic the day after. It's all coming back to me now," May says.
May remembers the first day she met the three Pokemon and Torchic became her first Pokemon partner.
"Back then, I didn't have much knowledge about Pokémon at all," May says.
"The more things change, the more they stay the same," Max says.
This makes May offended, "Oh yeah?!"
"Yeah!" Max says, and runs away.
May then chases him, "Then why don't you get over here and I'll teach you something! Come back!"
"It's just a joke, come on be…" But then Max bumps into someone, "My head."
"Are you okay?" Molly asks.
"I'm fine," Max says.
Soon, a familiar voice says, "Here's some advice, Max. A Dodrio, when in a daze, makes sure to look forward, backward and sideways."
Max looks up to see Professor Oak, and gasps in shock, "Professor Oak!"
"Nice to finally meet you, Max and May," Professor Oak says. Then turns to the girls, "And it's good to see you and Jen again, Molly."
"Nice to meet you, sir," May says.
"Hi Professor," Jen says.
"It's good to see you again," Molly says.
Max then gets excited and circles around the professor, "I still can't believe it. The one and only Professor Oak!" And pulls out some photos.
"What are those?" May asks.
"Pictures of the professor that I got from the latest issue of the Pokémon Friends magazine," Max says.
"Cool," May says.
Then presents it to the Professor, " Can I have your autograph?"
"Certainly," Professor Oak says and starts to sign the photos.
"Yes!" May says, excited.
Professor Oak says, "So, Max, I assume that Mew and the others are with you?
Josha explains, "Mew, Brock, and Tomo all went down to the port to pick you up, Professor. They left quite some time ago."
Prof. Oak hands the pictures to Max and says, "There you go, son."
Then says to Joshua, "I waited so long I was worried Birch had forgotten."
Then Max asks, "Professor, what kind of Pokémon do you have at your lab in Kanto?"
"Just slow down a bit, Max," Prof. Oak says.
He then reaches into his bag, "I did bring something along with me," And gets out three Pokéballs and throws them, "Come on out, everyone!"
And out of the Pokeballs are Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.
Max is very amazed, "It's Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander!"
"Birch has pleaded with me for so long to see them, I couldn't refuse," Prof. Oak says.
"He's going to be very pleased," Joshua says.
However, unknown to everyone, Team Rocket is spying on them from afar.
"Looks like we've come at the right time," Jessie says.
"I'll say, six new Pokémon for trainers in either region to cut their teeth with," James says.
Meowth then says, "I suggest we round up dose bouncing babies and bounce em to da boss."
"For fun or profit?" James asks.
"For profit, of course," Meowth says.
And the fantasy comes in.
Meowth explains, "Imagine da day to day anxs da boss endures overseas in the army of weightless bums that work for him. Present company excluded of course. As he search da horizon for meanin' in life, he turn to see his six new buddies standin' in already, 'My good friends.' They'll remind him of happier days frolicking as a junior Pokemon trainer. His life will have new meanin'. There will be a fire in his eyes, burning with the passion for livin. And you what's he gonna say, 'Meowth and those other friends who send me Pokemon are just the type of Team Rocket I need workin' for me."
Fantasy Ends.
"Bravo before! We're clappin because… we'll be rich!" Team Rocket cheers.
Wobbuffet calls out, "Wobbuffet!" (LEEEEET'S do it!)
Meanwhile, Max was observing the bulb on Bulbasaur's back.
"So that's what it's bulb looks like up close," Max says, "The bulb blooms into a flower when it reaches its final stage of evolution, right, Professor?"
"Yes, very good, Max," Prof. Oak says, "You certainly know your Pokémon facts."
"And that's because I learned everything from your lectures Professor. And Mew and Brock also taught me a few things as well," Max says. Then touches Bulbasaur's Bulb, "Bulbasaur's bulb is actually pretty soft."
Prof. Oak calls out, "Max, be careful how you touch a Bulbasaur."
Before Max can ask why, the Bulbasaur, who isn't amused being touched at its bulb, tackles Max to the ground.
"Max, are you okay?" May asks, worried.
Max gets up, "Yeah, I'm okay," Then straightens his glasses, "That Bulbasaur's got one mean Tackle."
He then goes over to Charmander and Squirtle, and touches the two Pokemon, "Charmander feels so cozy and warm and Squirtle is so cute looking."
Charmander then fires Max's face with ember.
"Charmander's Ember attack!" Max says.
Squritle then sprays Max with water.
"Squirtle's Water Gun really hits the spot," Max says.
Professor Oak laughs, "Well, there's no better way to learn about a Pokémon's attacks than through first hand experience."
"Is that how you learned?" Max asks.
Professor Oak nods, "I sure wear your scars like a badge of honor."
Max salutes, "Understood."
"You learn something new every day," Joshua says.
"You're right. I guess that means experience is the best teacher of all," May says.
The Bulbasaur then touches May's shoulder with its vine.
"Oh, guess you want to shake, huh?" May says, and shakes Bulbasaur's vine, "Aren't you just the cutest little thing."
Charmander and Squritle walk to Jen and Molly and play with them.
Suddenly, a giant mechanical Skiploom takes to the air.
"What is that?" Molly asks
"A giant Skiploom?" May asks.
"It's too big to be a Skiploom," Jen says.
"Yeah, and the big R points that this is a robot made by Team Rocket!" Max says.
Jessie and James call out, "That's right! We're back!"
"Back an' bettah den evah!" Meowth says, and presses a button on a control box.
From the underside of the robot, a net launches and snatches the six starters.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Joshua demands.
"What we do best, stealing!" Meowth says.
Prof. Oak turns to Joshua, "Joshua, I need you to stay here and keep an eye on the laboratory. Okay?"
"Yes, sir," Joshua says.
Then the Professor runs off, "I'll take care of this."
"We'll come too!" Jen says.
"Wait for us!" Max says.
Soon, the others rush off.
"Please, just be careful," Joshua calls out.
Meanwhile, at the port, Mew, Professor Birch, and the others search for Professor Oak, but can't find him
"This is so weird," Tomo says.
"Yeah. We should have seen him right now," Mew says.
"Maybe the professor decided to head to the lab on his own," Zinnia suggests.
"You might be right," Mew says.
"I'll call the lab. Perhaps he left a message with Joshua," Prof. Birch says.
Not long, Prof. Birch is given the news from Joshua.
Prof. Birch turns to Mew and the others, "Great! Team Rocket just stole six starter Pokémon, the reserved ones from here in Hoenn and three from Kanto that Professor Oak brought with him."
The group is shocked to hear it.
Prof. Birch says, "Apparently, Professor Oak went after them. Jen, Molly, May, and Max went with him, too."
"Then we need to get back to the lab, and hurry," Mew says.
Prof. Birch says on the phone, "Joshua, I want you to find something that belongs to either Professor Oak, May, Max, Jen, or Molly.
Meanwhile, the search party had come to a stop
"I thought for sure they went this way," Max says.
"They're not here now," May says.
"You can't just hide a gigantic helicopter-like machine that's shaped like a Skiploom all that easily, you know," Prof. Oak says.
"You're right," Molly says.
"So then, where did they go?" Jen asks.
Prof Oak looks around and notices, "That's a strange sight, a cave right behind a waterfall. What say we have a look?"
"Okay," The group replies.
They soon walk towards the waterfall and see the cave with light inside.
"Look, there's the cave, and I can see light inside," Max says.
"You're right. Team Rocket must be in there," May says.
Meanwhile, at the lab, the others had arrived.
Joshua brings out Max's backpack, "I found Max's backpack.
"That's exactly what we need," Prof. Birch says.
Mew takes the backpack, "Thanks Joshua."
Prof. Birch drives away.
Joshua says as they drive off, "Good luck, and watch your driving, please."
Meanwhile, in the cave, the five start to sneak in.
"Quiet. Don't make a sound, okay?" Prof. Oak says, quietly.
"Okay," The kids quietly say.
However, unknown to them, Prof. Oak accidentally tripped a silent alarm, sealing off the entrance behind them. As they snuck along, cameras watched their every move before they found the caged starters.
"There they are," Max says, seeing the trapped Pokemon.
"Don't worry, we'll get you out," Jen says.
But as they head towards the cage, they end up falling into a pit trap.
"Team Rocket's pit trap," Max says.
"It still hurts!" Molly says.
"That's it, I've had it!" May says and gets out her Pokeballs, "Come on out, guys."
Jen and Molly soon bring out their Pokeballs.
However, they get pulled away from their hands by a vacuum, along with their bags. And now they're trapped by Team Rocket.
"Well, you're certainly a sucker for punishment?" Jessie says.
"You humans fall for this trap hole everytime," Meowth says.
James calls out, "Tell me, Professor, weren't you all supposed to be looking forward, backward and sideways?"
"What are you creeps doing here?!" Jen demands.
"You found your way to the greatest Team Rocket secret base," Jessie says.
"So while you're falling into holes, we're climbing the ladder of success," James says.
"See you next fall," Meowth says.
Then they run off laughing before the cage closes over the captives.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group were heading on their way, a rocky road for that matter.
"Professor Birch, why are we taking this direction and not the road," Zinnia asks, shaking from the rocky road.
"A good friend of mine lives just up this road. It shouldn't be too much longer till we get there," Prof. Birch says.
"You're calling this a road. All I see is a rocky path!" Mew calls out.
Soon, the search party heads down a sudden dip in the road.
Meanwhile, in the cave, the gang comes up with a plan.
"Okay, if you guys can lift me and Molly high enough, we should be able to squeeze through that grate," Max says.
Jen can climb on my shoulders and Max can help climb up to the top and squeeze through," May says.
"But we need to be sure Team Rocket doesn't notice us," Jen says.
Then Prof. Oak says, "I have an idea. Then turns to Max, "May I borrow those pictures of me you had me autograph, Max?"
"Well, I guess if you need them," Max says.
Up above, in another part of the cave, Team Rocket was about to have some wine to celebrate
"Bottoms up!" Team Rocket says, and cling their glasses together
"Well, team, we'll be cornering the market on baby Pokemon and finding an underground spring in our basement of our base," Jessie says.
"I'll drink ta dat," Meowth says.
"But shouldn't we focus our attention on our guests?" James asks.
Meowth turns to the monitor, "I'm way ahead of ya, Jimmy. Ya see, I set up our brand new security camera toiminal sos we can keep an eye on dem."
"Well, isn't that nice?" Jessie says.
"And who cares if we threw away every last penny we had to buy it," James says.
"But now we're gonna be rich and famous, we're gonna have much money it won't matta how much we trow away!" Meowth says.
Team Rocket cheers, "Show me da money!
Meanwhile, back in the pit, May, Jen, and Professor Oak are trying to get Max up to the grate until he finally reaches the top and escapes.
"I made it," Max says.
Then helps pull Molly out.
"We did it," Molly says.
"Remember, you've got to set the Pokémon free," Prof. Oak says.
"But how do we do that?" Max asks.
Prof. Oak says, "A fire attack quickly followed by a water attack should make the bars on their cage expand and contract enough so that they can come apart, which can be done with a strong enough Tackle."
"Right," Max and Molly say.
"Hey, guys. Don't worry, we're gonna get you all out of there," Max says.
"Everyone, move back a little," Molly says.
Max and Molly move back. So does the Pokemon.
Max then calls out, "Okay. Charmander, Torchic, Ember."
Both attacks fire and heat up the bars
Molly then calls out, "Mudkip, Squirtle, cool the bars down with Water Gun."
Both attacks fire and cool the bars down
"Yeah!" Max cheers and calls out "Treecko, use Pound!"
Then Molly calls out, "Bulbasaur, Tackle!"
The two Pokémon throw their attacks and break the bars.
"We did it!" Max and Molly cheer.
The six starters all clamor around Max and Molly, and begin cuddling with them, tickling them in the process.
Back to the search party, it has come to a stop. Apparently, this is where Professor's Birch's friend is supposed to be.
"I don't think a car can go any further than this," Mew says.
Then Brock asks, "Professor, are you sure your friend really lives around here?"
"Yes, be patient," Prof. Birch says.
He then whistles out.
Soon, a Poochyena answers the whistle.
"A Poochyena?" Tomo questions.
The Poochyena hops down from the ledge.
"This Poochyena and I see each other so often in these mountains that we've become great friends," Prof. Birch says.
"Cool," Zinnia says.
Prof. Birch presents Max' backpack, "Poochyena, we need your help to find the little boy who owns this backpack.
Poochyena soon gets the scent and heads off in the direction of it.
"Awesome," Mew says.
"Let's go!" Prof Birch says.
The group soon follows the Poochyena.
Meanwhile, in the cave, the rest of the captives were free.
"You two called those attacks like pros," Prof. Oak says.
"Actually, it was the Pokémon that did all the hard work," Max says.
May turns to Bulbasaur, "Bulbasaur, you were great."
"Bulbasaur." (Thank you, May.) Bulbasaur says.
"And now, I think it's time we got your guys' Pokéballs back," Prof. Oak says.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket busy celebrating with a feast
James happily says, "Swimming pools…"
"Movie stars…" Jessie says.
"All you can eat," Meowth says.
But as the trio celebrate, the five spy on and listen in on them.
"Okay, they're starting to sound weird," Max says.
"They look goofy too," Jen says.
"I think this isn't gonna be easy," Max says.
Soon, Prof. Oak looks to his right, "Look, a Zubat," Then has an idea, "Say, let's have Bulbasaur and this Zubat join forces."
As Team Rocket dances and prances about in their drunken state, the wild Zubat sends out a Supersonic that hurts their ears and brings them to their knees.
"What is that?!" Jessie cries out.
"A Supersonic Zubat screech!" Meowth screams.
"My ears!" Jessie screams.
James cries out, "Oh, please, stop the noise!"
As Team Rocket covers their ears in pain, Bulbasaur uses its vines to grab the girls belongings and brings them to them.
"That was some pretty fancy roping," May says.
"Bulbasaur." (It sure was.) Bulbasaur says.
"Bulbasaur sure is an amazing Pokémon," Max says.
"Quick, let's all get out of here," Prof. Oak says.
They all head down another tunnel before coming up to the door that sealed off the entrance after they tripped the silent alarm.
"Drat. They sealed the door," Prof Oak says, shocked.
Suddenly, the alarm goes off.
"Oh no! Jen panics.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket also heard the siren.
"Who tripped the alarm?" James asks.
"Meowth looks at the monitor, Da Professor and four party poopin' twerps!"
"But it can't be, they're back in that pit cage, see?" Jessie says, looking at the other monitor.
The picture of Professor Oak soon falls off the camera and reveals they did indeed escape, to Jessie's shock.
"A fake Oak?!" Jessie exclaims.
"We've been had!" Meowth cries out.
Then James notices, "The three twerps' bags, they're missing!"
"But they were here!" Jessie panics.
Meowth jumps on the chair, "Now dat's going too far! I'll show em!" and presses a button.
Back at the entrances, large bars come down behind the five escapees.
"Now we're trapped again!" May panic.
"Yes, and this time Ember and Water Gun won't help us," Prof. Oak says.
The professor then looks behind him and sees a Dugtrio.
"A Dugtrio!" Max says.
Jen then has an idea, "I know. Then asks Dugtrio, "Dugtrio, can you use Dig to help us find a way out?"
The Dugtrio ducks down
I think they just did, Jen," Prof. Oak says.
The group heads down the tunnel and arrives at an underground lake.
"An underground lake," Prof. says.
Max says, "Uh, guys, we've got company," and points to see a sleeping Gyarados.
"A gyarados," Jen whispers.
"It's a sleep," Molly whispers.
"I think I'm glad it's asleep," May whispers.
Prof. Oak quietly says, "Yes, Gyarados can get so aggressive and nasty that it's no wonder it's classified as the Atrocious Pokémon. So I suggest we get out quietly."
As the group sneaks around the snoozing giant, back at the entrance to the tunnel, Team Rocket finds they're already gone.
Jessie cries out, "They don't dig holes! We do!"
"Dey're copying us," Meowth says.
James presses a button on a control box and raises the bars.
"You think they went down there?" James asks.
"Only one way of finding out," Meowth says.
Meowth soon heads down and does a somersault at the very end before landing on his feet
"Tree points!" Meowth says, but looks panicked to see the sleeping Gyarados.
Soon, Jessie and James come down.
"James, why'd you push me down?" Jessie argues.
"I didn't push you, but you pulled me!" James shouts.
"I'll show you pulling," Jessie argues.
Suddenly, the Gyarados wakes up.
Looking frightened, Gyarados says, "Uh, scuse me? I'd zip it if I were you."
"Says who?" Jessie and James angrily asks, but then sees the Gyarados rear up and panic.
Team Rocket cries out, "Says Gyarados!"
The Gyarados fires a Hydro Pump that sends them flying.
"We'll let ourselves out!" Team Rocket cries out.
Meanwhile, the search party arrives at a river where Professor Birch spots a Poliwrath not looking like its normal self.
"A Poliwrath!" Prof. Birch says.
"It doesn't look good," Tomo says.
"Look at the Zubat," Mew says.
Sure enough, there were some Zubat roosting in a tree to the left.
"Strange, I think that Poliwrath lives near the waterfall with the rest of its kind while those Zubat usually live in the cave directly behind the fall, which means only one thing," Prof. Birch.
"Someone must have driven them out of their natural habitats," Zinnia says.
"Exactly," Prof. Birch says.
They soon spot the waterfall and the cave behind it.
"Something is going on behind that waterfall."
Meanwhile, the five escapees run through the cave to find another exit.
"Another dead end!" May cries out.
Max soon spots a hole in the wall, "Guys, I think this hole goes all the way outside."
"But it's too small for all of us, even for me," Molly says.
"Maybe, but we should be able to call for help," Prof. Oak says.
"Right," Max says. He then calls out, "Hey! Can anybody hear me out there?!"
Meanwhile, outside the entrance to the cave, the search party finds out just who had been there.
"Of course, it had to be Team Rocket!" Mew says.
"We have to find a way to get inside," Brock says.
Soon, Poochyena smells something and rushes away.
"I think Poochyena found Max's scent!" Prof. Birch says.
Everyone quickly follows it.
Back in the cave, Max continues calling out for help. While outside, Mew and the others arrive at the other entrance.
Poochyena barks, "Saying, he's over here!"
"Poochyena said Max is here," Mew says.
They soon hear Max's voice.
"Do you guys hear that?" Prof. Birch says.
"It's Max," Zinnia says.
Mew then calls out, "Max, is that you in there?!"
In the cave, everyone smiles.
"It's Mew!" May says, relieved.
Max calls out, "Yeah! We're here! Professor Oak, May, Jen, and Molly are here too!"
"And we rescued the Pokemon too!" May says.
Prof. Birch calls out, "This is Professor Birch! Is everyone alright in there?!"
Prof. Oak: Yes, we're perfectly fine," Prof. Oak says.
Molly calls out, "Mew! Tomo! We need help getting out!"
Prof. Oak examines the door and says, "That's it! We just need to use the right Attack combination, that's all. He then calls out, "Hey Mew, use a water attack on the door followed by an electric attack
"You got it," Mew says. Then turns to the others, "What do you say?"
"Yeah!" Brock says. Then calls out, "Mudkip and Lombre, use Water Gun at the door."
Mudkip and Lombre uses Water Gun at the door, causing it to get wet.
"Your turn, Mew!" Brock says.
Mew then calls out, "Alright Pikachu and Eevee! Thunderbolt, now!"
Pikachu and Eeve use their attacks and hit the door, electrifying the water and the doorframe, making it brittle.
"That'll do nicely," Prof. Oak says, "We'll take it from here, everyone, with a strong enough Tackle!
Everyone on the other side of the door agrees.
Prof. Oak turns to Max, "Pop quiz, Max. Which of these Pokémon can utilize a Tackle that's strong enough to bring a door down?"
"Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Mudkip!" Max says.
"Correct. Not only that, but a large dose of Treecko's Pound attack might come in pretty handy as well," Prof. Oak says
"My Skitty can Tackle, too," May says.
Jen says, "Amaura can also use Take Down, too."
"Perfect, bring them out," Prof. Oak says.
May then calls out, "Skitty, come on out!"
Skitty comes out.
"Right, Mudkip…" Max calls out.
"Squirtle…" Molly says.
Then Max and Molly say, "Use Tackle!"
Both Pokemon charge.
May then calls out, "Skitty, Bulbasaur, follow their lead!"
Both Pokemon charge.
Then Jen calls out, "Amaura, use Take Down!"
Amaura charges in
Prof. Oak calls out, "Treecko, time for a Pound!"
Treecko throws its own attack and they all hit the mark, bringing the door down, breaking it off its hinges.
But before the celebrations can go any further, Team Rocket is heard laughing while a small rockslide occurs.
"What was that?" Tomo asks.
"Trouble!" Mew says.
Indeed, Team Rocket begins to perform their motto.
Jessie: (V.O.)
Prepare for an attack from our secret base!
As Jessie talks, the Skiploom mecha comes out of the ground, revealing that it was part of the hideout the whole time.
James: (V.O.)
And rest assured it puts heroes in their place!
Jessie: (V.O.)
To protect the world from devastation!
James: (V.O.)
To unite all peoples within our nation!
As Jessie and James go on, the group sees the Skiploom mecha in its entirety with Team Rocket at the helm.
Jessie:
To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James:
To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie:
Jessie!
James:
James, as well!
Jessie:
We're Team Rocket, flexing our muscles at the speed of light!
James:
Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight.
Meowth:
Scat's right!
Wobbuffet:
Wobbuffet! (End of scene!)
"Team Rocket!" Mew and the gang exclaim.
"We present to you our Mechanized Skiploom! A necessity for all a secret base!" James says.
"Give us a hand!" Meowth says.
Right on cue, six mechanical hands come out of the sides and one tries to grab Pikachu, though he avoids it.
Mew calls out, "Pikachu, Eevee, use Thunderbolt!" Mew calls out.
They both perform the attack, but don't leave a mark.
Brock calls out, "Mudkip! Lombre! Water Gun.
They both fire, but they haven't dent.
"Won't affect us," Jessie says.
"That's right. It's just like water on a Psyduck's back!" James says.
"You know, dey only say you get what you pay for. So we paid extra for more power," Meowth says.
The arms start moving faster, trying and failing to grab the smaller.
"Enjoy the show!" Team Rocket says.
"I don't care how strong they think that thing is, if we can hit them with water, fire and then ice, one after another, we'll break through it for sure!" Prof. Birch says.
"Right!" Mew says, "You guys ready?"
Everyone agrees.
Max calls out, "Torchic, Charmander, use Ember!"
They fire the attack.
Brock calls out, "Mudkip! Lombre! Use Water Gun!"
All four perform the attack.
May calls out, "Skitty, Blizzard!"
"Amaura, use Ice Beam!" Jen calls out.
Both attacks launch/fire. Soon, all three attacks hit their target.
Team Rocket panics, "Are we wet? Are we hot? Are we freezing? Are we not?
Right on cue, the robot starts to crack.
Mew then calls out, "Alright Pikachu! Eevee! Aim Thunder Attack right at the crack!"
Pikachu and Eevee launch their attack, which hits and destroys the robot.
"So perhaps we partied a little to hardy," Jessie says.
"This is no time to be making a rhyme," James says.
"Especially when we're blasting off again," Meowth says.
"Wobbuffet! (We're blasting off!) Wobbuffet says.
Then Team Rocket cries out, "We're poets and don't even know it.
"Wobbuffet! (I agree!) Wobbuffet says.
Seeing them gone, Mew and the others say, "Smooth Sailing."
Then Prof. Oak says, "Swiftly moving, flying high, a Starmie lights their darkening sky."
"Wow, if I could make rhymes like that, I'd make a book of Pokémon poems and autograph a copy for you, Professor," Max says.
Everyone begins laughing.
The next day, Mew and the others are on the ship and wave goodbye to Professor Oak, Professor Birch and Joshua.
"It was great seeing you guys again!" Mew calls out.
Prof. Birch says, "Goodbye! Hope to see you soon!"
"Keep up the training!" Prof. Oak says.
"Take care!" Joshua says.
Professors Oak and Birch know that a Pokémon journey never ends because there are always more adventures right around the bend. Now that Mew and her friends have set sail for Fortree City and her sixth gym badge, there's more excitement just ahead!
