Last stand of James Ironwood and the end of Atlas.

"Jacque Gele secured", one the Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers reported to Colonel Radec.

"Good, take him to a Overlord Dropship that will be heading back to a Cruiser where he will be taken to Helghan", Radec said in the comm.

"Yes sir."

"I guess Jacque went into trial in Helghan for his evil actions", Sienna gave her thoughts.

"Not just against all Faunus, but also what he has done to his family as well", Hakaze said to everyone.

"But we all know what happened when he tried to escape", Emerald commented from what they saw in the beginning.

"Yep, Helghast Troopers ended up killing him as he tried to escape."

Back on the ground battle near Atlas Academy, Helghast Forces get near the entrance where there is a checkpoint defended by more Atlesian Troopers. Team RWBY, JNR and Penny stay close behind by using their Helghast Vans as cover. Next another Helghast Heavy Trooper joins and fires everything his got with his STA-6 Chaingun. Lasty a Helghast Van with a mounted STA-3 LMG joins in.

Also running past the Heavy Trooper to the underside for cover is none other than Lisa Lavender and her camera man.

"Are they going to get pass that checkpoint and get inside Atlas Academy?" Mercury wonders about that.

"They will, all they need to do is kill all the defenders", Hakaze said to him.

"Plus Ironwood cannot escape from the air or the ground, because the Helghast Cruiser would shoot him out of the sky if he tries, plus all of the Helghast Ground Forces are everywhere", Hakaze tells them that that there is no way out for James.

"Even on the ground?" Clover asked.

"Yeah, even on the ground the Helghast will open fire at him as well."

"Was that Lisa Lavender?" Summer ask after they all saw her.

"Yep, here she sides with the Helghast like Ruby and the others."

"Well she's still doing her job as a reporter", Tai commented seeing Lisa doing what she does always.

Next as the Heavy Trooper continues to fire, in one of the checkpoints, one Atlesian Troopers aims a VC9 Rocket Launcher and fires. The Helghast Heavy Trooper is hit but not down, only stunned. But the Helghast Van was caught in the exploding rocket kills the driver while the Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper jumps out while engulf in flames.

"Oh what a bad way to go", Sun commented after seeing what happened to that Trooper.

"That Heavy Trooper isn't down", Neptune commented after seeing the Heavy Trooper still manage to stay on it's feet after being hit by a rocket.

"The Heavy Trooper's armor makes him durable, it's only know weakness that can kill him is the tank on the back or just keep shooting rockets at him until he goes down", Hakaze explains.

"Pull back!" One Shock Trooper tells the Heavy Trooper to pull back and they did.

Next an Helghast Heavy Hover Tank joins in and takes aim and destroys the 2 checkpoint towers in the process and kills the Atlesian Troopers inside as well and then blast open the gate. Eventually the Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers kills the remaining Atlesian Troopers who in cover and the Helghast Heavy Hover Tank push on forward and gets inside the gate and blast some more Atlesian Forces along the way.

"That Tank looks like it's it's hovering", Ruby commented.

"That's a Helghast Heavy Hover Tank, well the Helghast would also prefer Hover Vehicles which are Tanks and APCs."

One of the Helghast Shock Troopers looks at the inside and sees Civilian Atlesian Vehicle being loaded up along with 2 MULE Humvees without a mounted gun. "Ironwood is on the move", he said thinking Ironwood will try to escape on vehicles.

"Open fire when he drives out", he told the others.

"Actually they have no idea that's just a decoy, Ironwood is still inside because he knows what will happen anyway", Hakaze said knowing who's inside those vehicles.

"Since the Helghast are everywhere on the ground and the air, they will shoot him on sight", Ozpin commented.

"Oh yes Ozpin."

The Civilian Vehicle and the 2 MULE Humvees get a move on and was fired by Helghast Forces, the 2 MULE Humvees crash after the drivers get shot but the civilian vehicle keeps going until a Helghast Hover APC with an AA Gun on the top crashed into the vehicle stopping it in his tracks. All Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers fire their STA-52 Assault Rifles at the civilian, the Shock Trooper fire his STA-11 SMG, another Heavy Trooper fires his STA-6 Chaingun, lasty the ones in the HGH Tanks and Van fires their mounted STA-3 LMG at the Civilian Vehicle.

"Wow they just shoot everything they got at the vehicle as they believe Jimmy in there", Qrow said after seeing all the shootout.

"But they will all soon realize that he's not there", Tai said.

The occupants at the MULE Humvee step out only to be shot dead before they can defend themselves. Lastly the other occupants from the civilian vehicle step out which revealed to be the Ace-Ops Vine, Marrow and Harriet but where all shot dead by the Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers. Meanwhile, Ruby who notice that it's just a decoy and James is still inside Atlas Academy, decided to go inside.

"Let's go inside", Ruby said to them.

"What's up Ruby?" Yang ask her.

"Ironwood is still inside", Ruby said as she keeps walking toward Atlas Academy and others follow her.

"Friend Ruby is right, the General knew that he has no way out of here because the Helghast has the entire Kingdom completely surrounded", Penny explains Ruby's point.

Next the Helghast Shock Trooper who notice Ruby and the others along with Penny who just step inside Atlas Academy, "let's go", he said as several Helghast Assault Infantry Troopers along with a LMG Trooper armed with a STA-3 LMG follows them in.

"They just shot everyone who step out of their vehicles", Harriet commented after seeing her counterpart get shot dead after stepping out of the vehicles.

"No quarter", Clover said that the Helghast will show no mercy to Atlas.

"What's the Helghast with the Machine Gun?" Ruby ask.

"That's an LMG Trooper, Helghast Troopers armed with a STA-3 LMG."

Ruby and the others step inside Atlas Academy and finds lots a military equipment in there as well some dead bodies of Atlesian Officials. Next the Helghast Squads arrives, "you wanna stick with us, stay behind us", the Shock Trooper told them as they press forward.

"Don't shoot, I'm unarmed, I'm here to negotiate with you", the one who's saying that is Elm of the Ace-Ops and the Helghast step toward where she is standing and her hands raised.

"You the Helghast?" Elm ask.

"What do you think?" One Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper answered.

"Can you guarantee the General's safety in your hands?"

"Indeed."

"Okay, can you give the General an Airlift for him to go in exile?" What Elm said gave some in the audiences some thoughts.

"Elm is trying to negotiate with the Helghast so James an be spare from being executed by going to exile as punishment for his crimes on Mantle", Ozpin commented on what's going on this scene.

"I don't actually believe the Helghast are going to agree with these terms", Salem commented knowing the Helghast wants Ironwood dead so bad.

"Not happening, bring him out!" The Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper doesn't agree with letting James Ironwood live in exile.

"Trooper, the. ."

BLAM!

"I guess the Helghast will take no negotiation on this", Elm said after seeing herself get shot.

The Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper shoots Elm dead before she negotiate any further much to the shock of Ruby and the others as the Troopers press forward and start a fire with Atlesian Security Guards who are only armed with LS57 SMG while on the way up to Ironwood's office. So far the Altesian are no match for the Helghast's fire power.

"These Security Guards have no way of winning anyway", Winter said after knowing what's going to happen next.

"Reload!" The LMG Trooper said after emptying is clip on his STA-3 LMG as the other Troopers and Shock Trooper keeps firing and kills one Atlesian Guard who just tried to take cover from another room. "Last

"Grenade!" One of the Assault Infantry Trooper toss a grenade at the 2 Atlesian Guards who were near the entrance to Ironwood's office.

The 2 guards are killed due not being fast enough at all. As the Helghast press on to Ironwood's office as he's got nothing left to defend him, lastly Radec shows up after following them in.

"Colonel Radec?" Ruby commented after his surprise arrival.

"Don't try to stop me from punishing him for what he has done to the city and those people that you all tried to save", Radec said as they hear electric blast from Ironwood's office.

It turns out an Helghast ARC Trooper armed with a VC5 Arc Cannon found it's way into Ironwood's office by smashing through a wall. Eventually the Helghast Squad drags a stunned Ironwood out and prepare to execute him.

"Hold!" Radec tells them and they all stand down and Radec approach him.

"Last words before they can finish him off", Cinder commented.

"Anything you want to say for yourself?" Radec wants to hear James's final words

"I only did what's best for Remnant and no one is grateful!" James makes his excuse for his actions.

"By leaving Mantle for and the rest of Remnant for dead? Your are very wrong there", Radec said as he allows James to be executed by the Helghast Assault Infantry Trooper who shoots Ironwood twice in the chest.

Lisa Lavender who also follow them in takes a photo of that. Meanwhile elsewhere beneath Remnant, the rich source of Petrusite is all bursting out.

"Something tells me the Helghast's victory and Ironwood's death is going to get cut short", Ozpin commented after seeing the Petrusite.

Coming up next, the final part for this where Remnant had to be abandoned due the petrusite that's going to make the entire planet unhabitable.
