Fire. That was the only thing the boy could think at the moment. Fire. So much fire. His parents were dead, reduced to ashes in the raging inferno. His neighbors. His friends. His everything. All had been taken away by the flames. There was no hope. All he could do was wander and wait until the smoke suffocated him into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Suddenly, a light flashed around him! He instinctively covered his eyes in an attempt to block it out. When he opened them, he saw three tall figures standing in front of him, each having a spade-shaped head. The one in the center was holding something in its arms. It was a gold goblet, very similar to the one his parents were fighting for, and what ultimately led to their deaths.

The figure held out the goblet, and the boy took it in his arms. As the boy looked up at them wondering what to do, the figure leaned in and said one word:

"Prepare."
