After her fight with Patricius, Artoria walked through the forest back to the house. On the way there, she bumped into Shirou.

Artoria: "Shirou!"

Shirou: "Saber!"

The two gave each other a quick hug before separating and talking to each other.

Shirou: "Are you alright?"

Artoria: "I am fine Shirou. I managed to trick Lancer into retreating by destroying his staff. Although, I'm afraid this is not a permanent solution. If he ever returns, I doubt I will be able to defeat him again."

Shirou: "Don't worry, I managed to convince Gregor to leave us alone on account of us being 'not worth the effort.' All we have to worry now about is Marylin going after us, which I doubt she will do. She doesn't seem like the type of person who would disobey their father just to get revenge on us."

Artoria: "Thank goodness. I do not want to fight that man again. By the way, where is Naru?"

Shirou: "Brook and Tohka helped him with his wounds after the fight. After that, he left the house and headed towards the city."

Artoria: "Well, he is alright. That is all that matters."

Artoria suddenly had a concerned look on her face.

Shirou: "Saber?"

Artoria: "Shirou, we need to talk."

Shirou: "Sure. What is it."

Artoria: "During my first encounter with Lancer at the church, something happened while I was fighting him. In the middle of the fight, I tried to activate my scabbard, and it didn't work."

Shirou: "What? Why?"

Artoria: "I don't know. Some outside force must not want me to use it. Why they would do this is beyond me. However, there is one thing I know for sure."

Shirou: "And what is that?"

Artoria: "There is a sinister force sinister force in this Holy Grail War, one which seeks to thwart the forces of good."

Shirou: "This is definitely something we should investigate, however…"

Shirou pointed at Artoria's battle dress.

Shirou: "We won't be able to do anything with you dressed like that, which is why I brought this!"

Shirou pulled out a bag and gave it to Artoria. She looked inside the bag and smiled.

Artoria: "Well…it's about time!"

Naru walked down the street with his hands in his pockets. He was pissed, and people could feel it as they crossed the street to avoid him as he stomped his way to Izo's Department Store.

Naru was beyond frustrated. Not only couldn't he quit the Holy Grail War, but he got attacked by another master for his troubles. Now that he was out of ideas, he decided to visit the only other person he could turn to in situations like these, Taro Higeki.

Naru entered the store and was greeted by Mr. Izo, who he ignored as he headed towards the store's basement.

Yui: "And that is the situation so far, Higeki."

Taro: "I see, so to make up for being unable to summon a servant for the Holy Grail War, the Oe Cult has been doubling their sacrifices in an attempt to summon their deity that way"

Rei: "Yeah, and along with that, the Silver Tongue is becoming more bold in their attacks. They've been taking people's blood at dawn! If this keeps going, they might end up attacking in broad daylight!

Taro: "What about the Broken Chain? What's the status on them?"

Yui: "Unknown. All the spies we sent to observe them ended up reduced to bones."

Taro clicked his tongue as he observed the reports in front of him.

Taro: "What is going on here? Has the city really gone mad since the Holy Grail War started? This cannot possibly get any worse."

As he said that, Naru burst into the room with anger visible on his face.

Taro: "And now Naru's pissed. This can't be good."

Rei: "Naru! We haven't seen you in a while!"

Naru: "It's only been two days."

Rei: "And my time-"

Taro and Yui: "ehem!"

Rei: "OUR time is very valuable! Things have gone to shit since you've been gone!"

Taro: "He is correct. The other gang lords are becoming more aggressive due to…certain circumstances."

Naru: "Let me guess…the Holy Grail War."

Taro: "That's correct. The Holy- wait? How do you know about that?"

Naru: "Believe it or not…I'm going through much worse."

Rei: "Aww…come on Naru! It can be any worse than what's going on in Sekoyoma right now!"

Naru: "Yeah…about that…"

A few hours of explaining later…

Naru: "...and that's what happened."

Taro: "..."

Yui: "..."

Rei: "...I take it back. That is WAY worse!"

Taro: "Naru, you must end your contract with your servant as soon as possible. We cannot deal with the Holy Grail War amid this crisis!"

Naru: "That's what I've been trying to do this whole time, but when I visited the church, it turns out they weren't the supervisors. They were just participants who really, REALLY wanted to kill me! That is why I turned to you. I didn't know who else to talk to about this. What do I do?"

Taro: "That is…rather unfortunate. Luckily, I know who the ACTUAL supervisor is!"

Naru: "Oh, thank goodness! I was worried I might be stuck with Saber forever! So, who is it?"

The other gang members gave worried looks at each other.

Taro: "Unfortunately…"

Taro placed a letter on the table.

Taro: "The person supervising this current Holy Grail War…is HIM."

Naru looked down at the letter and read it.

If you received this message,

you are hereby invited to participate in the Reforged Holy Grail War.

Please summon your servant by

October 13th at midnight.

You will not have another chance to join again.

May the blessings of the grail be bestowed upon you.

Sincerely

- Manchester Gremory

Taro: "All five gang lords have received this letter. It seems he intended to use the Grail War as a way for them to participate for dominance, and knowing him, I doubt he will let anybody quit."

Naru's shoulders slumped. All hope of quitting the Grail War had become lost now that he found out that 'The Boss' was supervising.

Taro: "There is only one thing left you can do…and that's break your contract without finding a new master for her."

Naru: "I can't do that. Saber hasn't reunited with Shirou for who knows how long. I'm not going to break up their reunion just to give myself a break, but on the other hand, I can't get involved with the Holy Grail War- Gah! What do I do?"

Everyone in the room was silent. They were in an impossible situation with seemingly no solution. Suddenly, Rei's eyes lit up.

Rei: "Guys…I have an idea! Why don't we have Saber fight the gang lords!"

Everyone looked at Rei with shock on their faces, as if he had said something totally stupid.

Rei: "I know it sounds crazy, but hear me out! The gang lords are getting more aggressive because of the Grail War right? Well, why not respond by sending a servant at them to kick their asses?"

Naru: "What about the other masters? Won't they get involved as well?"

Rei: "That's the best part! The other masters won't get involved since their focus is on the Grail, while our focus is on protecting Sekoyoma!"

Everyone looked at him skeptically.

Rei: "Come on guys! We're the only gang with a servant on our side! Shouldn't we use that to our advantage?"

Yui: "Rei, you're being too optimistic here. There's no way that any heroic spirit would ever agree to-"

Taro: "That's…not a bad Idea?"

Yui: "Taro?"

Taro: "Rei is right. We have a servant on our side now. With their help, we can finally bring peace to Sekoyoma!"

Yui: "I….guess you're right. I can't think of any better ideas than this."

Taro: "What about you Naru? Will you go along with this plan?"

Naru thought about it. Should he do this? Bring a servant into the Infinite Path? Of course not! Saber would never agree to it! This was a waste of time! As he was about to dismiss the idea, however, he remembered why he joined a gang in the first place.

He remembered the gymnasium, with bodies littering the floor. He remembered the horrified looks on their faces as their corpses stared back at him.

Then he remembered his mother, who was shot on the side of the road without a care in the world. He remembered how people walked by as his sister cried, begging them to help her. He remembered her funeral or lack thereof. Naru and his sister were the only ones who came. To everyone else, she was just another person who died in a long list of deaths.

No one should think that way. The death of another human being should not be something to be ignored! He wanted to end all crime in Sekoyoma so no one would ever have to be killed every day, so they could help each other so that no one would ever have to see their loved ones shot on the side of the road! THAT! That was why he was doing this!

Naru: "...I'll do it."

Taro: "I knew you would see things through! Now we only need to get Saber to agree with us. Do you think you can handle that?"

Naru: "I'll try."

Naru left Izo's department store and headed back towards his house.

Naru: "She should agree with me. After all, she's a knight, and they're all about chivalry and protecting the innocent and crap. I'm sure she'll agree to it!"

Artoria: "ABSOLUTELY NOT!"

Artoria practically screamed at the top of her lungs when she heard Naru's request.

Naru: "Ouch! You don't have to yell!"

Artoria: "I help it! Not after hearing how awful this plan is."

Naru: "I know it sounds silly, but this is the only solution we could think of.

Artoria: THIS is your solution for quitting the Grail War? To abuse my power to fight in a battle between delinquents? Absurd."

Naru: "Please Saber, be reasonable! Our gang is the only one who wants to bring peace to Sekoyoma. If any other gang besides us wins, this place will become hell on Earth! So please, help us!"

Artoria: *sigh* "I'm sorry Naru, but I cannot help you. I am a servant used to help fight in the Holy Grail War. My power is not to be used to fight for anything other than that. Instead of relying on me as a crutch to stand on, you should become stronger so you may protect the city on your own."

Artoria began to walk away, leaving Naru frustrated. Become stronger? Protect the city on his own? He did those things already! Now she's telling him to continue doing the same thing. Naru had enough.

Naru: "So you're telling me to fend for myself huh? If that's how you want to play it, that's fine by me! Is that what you would tell your own people if Camelot was going to shit?"

Artoria stopped in her tracks.

Artoria: "What did you say!?"

Naru: "You heard me. If someone from Camelot asked you the same thing I did, would you say the same thing to them?"

Artoria: "That's different!"

Naru: "How? How is it different? Is it because we're 'delinquents.' Is it because we're not prim and proper like the Brtitons you defended?"

Artoria: "It has nothing to do with that!"

Naru: "Then why? Why don't you want to help us!?"

Artoria: "I DON'T WANT A REPEAT OF CAMLAAN!"

Her voice echoed throughout the forest while Naru stood there in shock at her outburst.

Artoria: "When I look at that city, I see the same state Britain was in. Barbarians dominated the land and rival kings fought over the power vacuum left behind by the Romans. In the end, I was able to unite all of Britain and drive my enemies away."

Naru: "So…you've done this before?"

Artoria: "Yes, which means I know how it ends. Even if you do achieve the peace you sought, how long do you think it will last? Humans are violent by nature. There will always be those who are dissatisfied with the way things are. Those people will band together out of their shared hatred, growing in number as they attract more followers. Eventually, you will get a rebellion, destroying the peace you worked so hard to achieve! By the end, you'll be all alone, surrounded by the corpses of your comrades as you realize that your efforts were for nothing!"

Naru was stunned by Artoria's words. She had brought up an interesting point. Naru hadn't given much thought about what to do after saving Sekoyoma. What will he do? Will he retire? Will he continue to monitor the streets to eliminate the remnants of the gangs left over? And how long will the peace they fought for last?

Naru answered these questions with a question of his own.

Naru: "So what?"

Artoria: "What?"

Naru: "Exactly! So what if the peace is only temporary? So what if we can't eliminate all remnants of the gang lords? So what if a rebellion starts?"

Artoria: "I-I don't understand! What are you saying?"

Naru: "What I'm saying is…"

Naru held out a middle finger to Artoria's face.

Naru: "...FUCK WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH! This is my city! Why should I care about what a blonde-haired bitch went through!? I don't give a shit! If anyone tries to destroy the peace I created, I'll shove my foot so far up their ass that they'll call me prostate cancer! You may be the king of Britain, but here, I am the top dog! I will be the one to save this city because I am the Sekoyoma Ripper! The Alleyway Terminator! The King of a Thousand Cuts! I have more black air force energy than a football team on crack! I am THE ONE! THE ONLY! NARU KAMINARI!"

Artoria was at a loss for words. Naru had both insulted her and inspired her in a single speech and she didn't know how to respond. It was at this moment that Artoria finally understood. It wasn't just the lion plushie that summoned her, it was him.

Artoria: "I see now! This boy has the potential to become a king, one greater than I am!"

Naru held out his hand.

Naru: "Listen, I know Shirou taught you to be selfish and look towards the future, but I bet there is a small part of you that still wishes to redo your reign. Well, here's your chance! Join me, and we can save Sekoyoma! I know you want to be Artoria Pendragon, but Sekoyoma needs King Arthur! So, what do you say? Answer quick, my arm is getting tired."

Artoria: "...As a servant, I cannot join you."

Naru turned around and walked away in frustration.

Artoria: "However…"

Naru turned around.

Artoria: "...as a knight, I shall aid you in your quest! Your speech inspired me greatly. You are right. This isn't like Camelot, and how foolish was I to think that Sekoyoma would meet the same fate? Not when it has such a devoted protector like yourself! I will gladly join you!"

?: "So will I!"

Naru and Artoria turned to see Brook running up to them.

Brook: "Hey guys! I heard Naru's over-the-top speech from my camp and it inspired me to join in as well! Also, I'm bored and I have nothing better to do."

Artoria: "I'm sorry Brook, but it is way too dangerous for you to-"

CLICK!

Brook pulled out her gun.

Brook: "Saber, I lived in Detroit for six years. I think I can handle Sekoyoma!"

Naru: "O-ok then? Wait! Where do keep pulling your gun out from? I don't see a holster or anything on you. So, where are you storing it?"

Brook: "Hammerspace!"

Naru: "Bullshit!"

Oh boy! Now things are getting interesting!
