Gallade POV
There had been a report of another feral Pokémon attacking a small village quite a ways away from town. Once we got there, a Sigilyph had been flying around, shooting at everything in sight. It wasn't the hardest to take care of, because of Gothitelle throwing it in front of Scizor, who wasted no time in finishing it.
"That thing was so weak! And those kids had problems with the other ones?" Scizor commented as we brought the body back for study.
"Not every Pokémon is as strong as you." Gothitelle muttered. Before they started fighting again, we arrived at the Lab. Thank Arceus that village was close by. Grimmsnarl began studying it as soon as we brought it in. We waited for about an hour before he came back and told us about what he discovered.
"It's different from the Chesnaught's sample, this one doesn't share that 'evolving' trait." This new information was a little confusing.
"What does that mean?" I asked, curious of his answer.
"This is only my hypothesis, but I believe this liquid is evolving. I've also thought of the possibility that someone created it, this just doesn't seem natural, not in the slightest." My thoughts drifted to Darkrai, he did escape prison, but I don't think he'd be able to create something like this in a few days...
"So we have one more thing to worry about." Lopunny spoke her mind.
"It is only a theory, but it's most likely the case. I will continue my research." Grimmsnarl finished. We left soon after. If we were to try and find whoever's behind this, we'd have no leads. The only option right now is to wait.

Lurantis POV
"Gigalith, Lurantis, I'm sending you out to 'recruit' Pokémon. You should know what to do." Darkrai basically ordered us to stab some wild Pokémon with needles.
"Why do we have to be out for so long?" I asked. Seriously, I don't want to sleep under a fucking tree.
"Don't complain, this will be over the sooner we start." Gigalith said in a 'stern' voice. My response was a grunt. We walked out and started looking for some strong Pokémon. We got to a river and saw some Caterpie waddling around.
"We're supposed to find strong Pokémon around here?" I asked to Gigalith as we walked alongside the water. He turned and looked to the right.
"Over there." I stopped and looked over. There was a dark path with dead trees around it, leading to a graveyard.
"What? You wanna go grave robbing?" Gigalith ignored my comment and headed over. I followed behind for a bit before we found an old building that looked like it'd fall apart at any second.
"You can't be serious. I am not stepping foot in-" He suddenly pushed me inside and closed the door when we were both inside.
"What was that for?!" He shushed me and glanced out the window. I walked over to see what he was looking at, but he stopped me from getting any closer.
"Stop. They'll see you." I raised a brow at the statement. Exactly what is out there that'll see me? I didn't need to ask since a Yamask flew into the window, cracking it.
"Shit! Why is it doing that?!" I asked, backing away slightly. Gigalith gestured to a closet in the corner, which had multiple 'sealing' papers on it.
"There is a Cofagrigus in there. They want it to be let out." I chuckled at the answer I was given.
"Don't we need to get it out anyway? You know, to make it go haywire?" He shook his head.
"I suspect the Cofagrigus to be more dangerous then normal, given the tags." The closet began shaking as more and more Yamask began breaking in.
"Looks like we'll have to fight these guys before we can do anything." I muttered before the glass broke and what seemed like hundreds poured in. I tried to take out as many as possible by using Leaf Storm while Gigalith took some out with either Stone Edge or Giga Impact. They were trying to get to the closet and take the tags off, but they weren't able to as Gigalith used Gravity, which caused them all to become too heavy to fly.
"Why didn't you just do that in the first place?" He closed his eyes as a bead of sweat dripped down his chin.
"It takes... a considerable amount... of concentration..." I saw that he was struggling with holding them, so I cut them up with Leaf Blade.
"So, this was a bust. Where to next?" We turned to leave, but then heard ripping sounds. The tags have been ripped off by a barely conscious Yamask. The Cofagrigus bursted out and and fired off a few Energy Balls in random directions. This old building wasn't able to handle all the action and began crumbling.
"Lurantis!" Gigalith knocked me through the door before the place collapsed. There was a second of silence.
"Don't try to make me feel sad, get out here you rocky bastard!" I shouted at the rubble, which was being pushed aside by the Cofagrigus. It laughed and threw Toxic Spikes everywhere. Gigalith popped out and fired a Meteor Beam right to its face.
"Nice shot, now allow me." I said, running at it with Solar Blade, which finished charging right before I swung it. I slashed at it and left a big mark, but I wasn't that lucky since it was able to pick up a Toxic Spike and throw it at me. Since it was so close, I got hit and was poisoned.
"Damn..." I quickly stabbed it with the syringe I had. Its eyes closed as it fell to the ground.
"We need to leave before it wakes up." Gigalith walked over and, for once, I agree.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm not eating that!"
"You must, if you don't want to stay poisoned."
"What is this shit even made of? It smells awful!"
"You don't need to know."
"This tastes disgusting! Get it away from me!"
