Stel POV
We stood in the harsh desert sun, the Cacturne stopping just in front of us. The black scarfed Cacturne stepped forward.
"Get out of the way." She said, an Energy ball forming in her hand, making Clover and Melody hide behind us. Serket stepped forward, his fangs glowing red with fire.
"Make us." He said as Suijin and I stood beside him. Suijin gripped his shells as blades formed on their edges and the teeth in my second jaw dripped with poison as we flared at each other. Each second that went by had Clover become more and more nervous.
"Gah!" We we're all startled by Clover's abrupt shout. He moved in between us and the Cacturne.
"Why don't you just tell us why you kidnapped our friends and are about to attack that Maractus village?! Maybe then we won't have to fight!" He yelled, causing the Cacturne to scoff.
"Oh please, you won't think differently even if we-"
"Hold it right there!" A voice came from behind the crowd of Cacturne. The group parted, revealing Marshadow and Cream along with a half shiny Maractus and two Cacturne, a white and blue scarfed with the white scarfed having her arm in a sling.
"H-Hey... Sky... uhm, sorry..?" The blue scarfed Cacturne said, rubbing his head while looking at the ground. The half shiny Maractus stomped up the the black scarf before she could say anything.
"We come here with the intent to help you and you lock us up?! That was quite rude of you to do. Not rude, try stupid. Perhaps. Seriously! Why would We walk up alone and act non-aggressive?!" She yelled, making the black scarf facepalm. Melody yelped and hid behind me after seeing the half shiny Maractus, who turned her attention to us.
"And Melody! You stayed with them, but you wanted to get out as well. But I'll give you a pass since you're actually a nice mon, but the rest are getting fucked! Yes... the rest of the Maractus will be dealt with."
