Hope you enjoy and I promise I will finish this story.

Time passed in a blur of classes and getting to know his fellow class members. Before he knew it, it was the day before Yule break.Harry had needed to go shout down the Wizengamot one more time when they got the idea to try and overthrow the Mundane monarchy in England. There were now several dozen wizards and witches residing in a heavily warded area of the Tower of London, waiting for Harry and Queen Elizabeth to reach an agreement on their fate. They would be meeting to discuss it over the Yule Break next week. He had also heard back from the various people he had written in regards to forming his advisory council. Lucius Malfoy, Augusta Longbottom, Arthur Weasley, Gavin Robards, the two goblin representatives, Stinkblast and Noodle's own son, Bloodclaw, had all agreed to meet with him at Hogwarts the day Yule break began.

At the suggestion of Augusta and Arthur, he had also sent a letter to Remus Lupin to arrange a meeting. He had been suggested as their werewolf and creature liason but Harry wanted to find out why one of his parents' supposedly closest friends had never made an attempt to seek him out. If Harry was satisfied with his answers, he would offer Remus the last place on his council of advisors. He was headed to that meeting right now. They were going to meet in the Headmasters office with Professor Flitwick sitting in for added security. Harry's personal bodyguards, the Abhartach, would also be in the room, hidden in shadows and under disillusionment and scent blocking charms. Zarek, his occamy familiar, had taken to riding around his neck, shrunken, so he would also be present if anything were to go wrong. One way or another, Harry was going to have answers for "Uncle Moony"'s absence.

Reaching the stone guardian, Harry took a deep, fortifying breath and began to ascend the spiral stairs. Entering the office, he greeted the diminutive Headmaster as the Abhartach all took up hidden positions around the office. Harry and Professor Flitwick chatted for a few moments about various goings on around Hogwarts and the kingdom overall. He might not be an official member of the advisory council but Harry valued the Headmaster's opinion and wisdom. They drew silent as the floor flared green and Remus Lupin asked to step through.

Lupin stood in front of the floor, staring at his long lost cub, hardly believing he was there. Moony was howling with joy in his mind, and it took every ounce of self control not to grab Harry in an embrace and never let him go again. Remus had searched the world trying to find his cub. To see for himself that he was okay. That he was treated well and happy. If he was, Remus would leave him with whoever his guardians were and wait for Harry to contact him. If he hadn't been, Remus had made plans to take him away and hide him. He had purchased a small manor home in Greece, and had it warded so heavily Merlin himself would struggle to get in without permission. He had been determined to protect the last member of his pack, no matter what Dumbledore said. He had been sitting in his hidden manor's parlour, resting from his latest search and planning the next, when he had received a Daily Prophet full of headlines that absolutly shocked him.

Sirius was Innocent….

Harry was the King of Avalon Returned…

Albus Dumbledore was Arrested and Charged With Treason and Sedition…

Remus had been stunned at the news in the paper. He sat there, reading and rereading every article, desperate to know everything he could find out about what was happening around his best friends son. As soon as he had gathered everything he could from the paper, he immediately began to pack his belongings and send the manor into stasis. He still wasn't sure where he could find Harry but he knew Sirius was likely to be in St Mungo's, getting healed from years of dementor exposure and the general horrid conditions of Azkaban. He would go there. Hopefully, Sirius knew where the cub was. But first, Remus needed to apologize for ever believing Sirius would betray James and Lily to Voldemort.

That meeting had been fraught with emotion. Remus had gone straight to the hospital, with all his belongings shrunken in his pocket, and asked to see Sirius. He was guided to a room where his friend lay, looking weak and broken, but with signs of an inner strength still present in his eyes. Most obvious however, was his anger at Remus when he entered the room. Sirius had shouted and raged at him for hours while he just stood there, letting him say everything he felt needed to be said. A lot of it had rang true even if it hurt to hear. Finally, Sirius ran out of things to say and had fallen back on to the bed, exhausted. Remus took a deep breath and began to try and explain. He told Siri how when he heard James and Lily were dead, he had rushed back to England to find out what happened. He told him how he didn't believe Sirius could have betrayed them but he was told he confessed. He said he had spent years trying to find Harry, to see that he really was okay but he never had even a hint of where he was being hidden. How he had just finished a search and had been preparing to go on another when he got the paper. Mostly he apologized. For believing the stories. For not asking him. For not fighting to clear his name sooner, leaving him to suffer in Azkaban. He made no excuses. He blamed no one else. He should have known his friend would never do what he had been accused of. He begged to be given a chance to make things right.

Sirius had listened to everything he said silently. After Remus had finished and fallen silent, he took a deep breath and released it before speaking, much calmer than before. He only said one thing… "Welcome back, Moony. I've missed you so much."

After Sirius said that, Remus rushed to his bed and yanked him into a strong embrace. The two friends held each other tight as they could and wept over the suffering they had experienced. Then they began to plan. Sirius immediately invited Remus to live with him when he was released from the hospital. It was decided that Sirius would be the one to go to Hogwarts and meet Harry, as well as the son that Remus didn't even know existed. Remus would wait until summer break to meet him, so that he wasn't overwhelmed. He had gone and from what he told Remus, the meeting had been emotional but wonderful. Harry was strong, confident, and bursting with power. His son, Eriadnus, was happy, healthy, and eager to establish a relationship with his father.

Then the letter came. Harry had written to him requesting a meeting at Hogwarts. Judging by the formal language used, Harry knew who he was and was not very happy with him currently. Remus just hoped he would be given the chance to explain like he had with Sirius. The day of the meeting came and Remus stepped into the floor, calls of good luck from Sirius echoing behind him.

Harry studied the man in front of him. He wore threadbare clothes, worn from time and obviously in need of replacement. He stood strong and straight , prepared for anything. He had a weary look on his face, with just a hint of fear mixed in. But it was his eyes that told Harry everything he needed to know. His eyes shone with emotion. Relief that Harry was there, and appeared to be well. Love, for the boy he saw as his cub. Anger, that they had been kept apart for so long. Determination that it would never happen again. Yes, this was a man who had been searching for him for a long time, regardless of what anyone else said. This was a werewolf, looking for his cub. This was his Uncle Moony, and he had never given up on finding Harry.

Harry stood from where he was seated and discreetly signaled his Abhartach to stand down. There was absolutely no danger to him from this man. Filius, also seeing him give the signal, settled in his chair to watch the reunion. He lifted Zarek from his place around his neck and gently settled him on the back of the chair. Turning to face Remus once more, he finally spoke the first words between them.

"We have a lot to discuss and I have an offer to make you. But first, can I have a hug?"

The words had barely left his lips when Remus had him wrapped in a strong embrace, nearly cutting off his breathing as he held him close. He shook as he held his honorary godson in his arms, sobs of relief escaping him as he smelled his cubs scent.

The two wizards held each other for a few long moments, before with a gruff clearing of his throat, Remus finally released Harry, cleaning the tears from his eyes as he did. Harry cleared his own eyes which had misted and retook his seat, allowing Zarek to resume his place around his neck. Gesturing at the open chair in front of him, Harry waited for Remus to have a seat before getting to the reason he had requested this meeting to begin with.

"Obviously by now, you have seen the news of my brand new titles. It has been quite a bit of a learnig curve, to be honest. I got training from the goblins under time dilation so I'm not completely helpless. However, running a kingdom as large as Avalon, while in school, without help is too much for me. So I have decided to form an advisory council. They will be there to advise me in the various situations that arise as well as handle a few of the smaller, less significant matters that will crop up from time to time. I want seven members on the council. I currently have six. I called you here, at the recommendation of two other council members, to ascertain if you would be the appropriate fit for the remaining position. It's yours, if you want it."

Remus sat in his chair, stunned at what his cub had said. He had been sure he was walking into judgement when he entered the floor. Now, here he was, reunited with his cub, who had actually seemed happy to see him. And now his cub had offered him a job. One of the highest positions in the entire kingdom at that. He was speechless. Genuinely without words to express the shock he felt. He had struggled all his life to keep a job. Most places in the wizarding world wouldn't even hire him because of Moony. And jobs in the muggle world were hard to maintain when he was regularly out because of the full moon. After everything happened that fateful Halloween, he had devoted all his time to finding Harry, only working when he needed money for food or to continue his search. He had neglected everything else. Now, the same boy he had searched for for ten years, was in front of him and offering him a place on the Advisory Council to the King. A job that was garenteed to pay more than enough to provide him with everything he had ever wanted. And one that he wouldn't easily lose due to his sickness around the full moon. He looked up when a throat cleared, drawing him out of his thoughts.

"So, what do you say, Uncle Moony? Want to help me run this kingdom?" Harry asked with a smirk.

Remus cleared his throat before finally speaking.

"Cub, I will do whatever I can to help you any way you need. I will gladly take the position."

Harry grinned happily.

"Good. We are having a lunch meeting here at Hogwarts after the students leave for Yule. There is a lot we need to discuss. I'll introduce you to the rest of the council then." Seeing Remus nod, he continued, "Now that the stuffy business is over, where in Merlin's name have you been? I could tell when you got here, you hadn't been absent willingly, but where the devil were you?"

Remus took a deep breath and began to explain everything to his cub. How he had been out of the country that Halloween. How he had rushed home as soon as he heard what happened. How Albus had told him Harry was alive but refused to tell him where he was. How he had spent every moment for the last ten years trying to find him. How when he saw the paper with the announcement of his new throne, he had rushed home. How he had gone to the hospital to see Sirius. How they had decided not to overwhelm him so he was planning to wait until summer. HE spent hours poring everything out to Harry. Harry sat there and nodded as Remus spoke. He could tell losing him had hurt the man deeply. As the man finished his explanation, Harry nodded before sitting forward in his seat, and saying two words:

"Dumbledore lied."

And Harry began to tell his story. How he had been left on a porch overnight with the milk bottles. How his aunt only found him the next morning. How he was immediately hated by his relatives. How they hid him in a cupboard. How they forced him to do all the chores around the house. How he was beaten for any offense no matter how tiny. How when his letter arrived, his uncle had taken it before he could read it. How the letters kept coming no matter what his aunt and uncle did. How it eventually became too much and his uncle decided to take the family and run. How they wound up on the shack on the rock. How he woke up the morning of his birthday in a bed. How his aunt and uncle had apologized for his treatment. How she had taken him to Diagon the next day. How he met Augusta Longbottom in the Leaky Cauldron. How she had wept on seeing him. How she escorted him to Gringotts for an inheritance test. How he pulled the sword from the stone. How he found out he was richer than a god. How he apparently had multiple mates out there somewhere, How they discovered Dumbledore was responsible for the way his aunt and uncle had acted. How the strength of his creature inheritance had broken all the spells on them. How he went into training with the goblins in a time dilation field. How he discovered Sirius was innocent. How he immediately showed the proof to Bones. How when the ministry drug its feet he took matters into his own hands. How he stormed the ministry and ordered the arrest of Dumbledore, Fudge, Umbridge, and their lackeys. How he returned and disbanded the Wizengamot. How he began to form his council. How he was completely overwhelmed with everything and needed all the help he could get. By the end he was gasping for breath in Remus's arms.

Remus was seething by the time Harry finished talking. His eyes shone gold as he desperately tried to keep Moony in control. They both wanted nothing more than to rip Dumbledore apart with their fangs and claws. That man had hurt their cub deeply and they were determined to see him pay. Preferably with his life. Remus held his cub close as he poured out his heart. He held him as he wept over the life he had lived. And the one that could have been if not for power hungry evil wizards. He held him as his shoulders shook from the weight he carried. And he held him as he slowly began to piece himself together once more. As he drew upon that hidden strength which had made it possible to survive all the trials in his past. He watched as his cub slowly changed. A scared, hurt little boy turned into a strong, regal, confident king before his eyes. Remus made a silent promise at that moment. No matter the challenge. No matter the cost. No matter the sacrifice. He would do everything in his power to see this boy get all the happiness he deserved and more.

After they composed themselves, Remus and Harry once more sat in separate chairs. both of them were emotionally spent. They sat and looked at each other as they finally shared the pain that had burdened them for so many years. They continued talking for the rest of the day and into the night about whatever inconsequential things crossed their minds. Finally Remus had to leave. He gave Harry one last hug and promised to be there tomorrow before departing through the floor for home. Once he was gone, Harry turned to thank Professor Flitwick for the use of his office.

"It was absolutely no problem, Young King. And might I say I am deeply sorry for all you have suffered because of the machinations of Albus Dumbledore. The things he did to you would give a dementor nightmares. That man is not worthy of the magic he wields."

Harry nodded at the professor's words and thanked him once again before departing the office and going to get some much needed sleep.

The next day, Harry woke up after one of the best night's sleep of his life. Who knew that talking about his past would relieve some unknown inner turmoil. He sighed and got out of bed to begin preparing for his day. He had his first official meeting with his new Advisory Council today, so he decided to dress the part. He wore custom tailored dragonhide pants made from shed Hebridean Black hide and a tailored silk shirt in a dark silver. Over that he fastened a matching Dragonhide waistcoat, with a mithril watch chain for his crystal timepiece. On his shoulders hung a regal cape, made from acromantula silk dyed deep purple. His crown rested gently on his brow and he strapped Excalibur to his waist. His wand was in a holster at his wrist, able to be drawn with just a flick. All in all, he was a picture of strength and regalness. With a final glance in his mirror, Harry left the room for breakfast.

After breakfast had ended, the students began to make their way to the waiting train. All of the students were required to go home for this break to give them a chance to address any problems with the wards around the school and the adjacent village of Hogsmeade. Harry would be inspecting the wards personally for issues. He had dozens of his ancestors journals describing how the wards should function. He knew how they should look. But first he had a meeting to attend. As the other students made their way to the Express, he made his way to the teacher's lounge on the third floor. He entered and saw everything was arranged to his specifications. There was a round, oak hewn table surrounded by eight cushioned armchairs. Against the rear wall sat an arrangement of finger foods and several pitchers of various wizarding beverages. He gave one final look around the room before sitting at the table facing the door to wait for his advisors.

Augusta Longbottom was the first to arrive. She entered the room with a courtly air and looked around before giving an approving nod and taking a seat at the table. Bloodclaw and Stinkblast were the next to arrive, closely followed by Lucius Malfoy. All surveyed the room in approval before sitting at the round table. Gavin Robards arrived next, dressed in worn dragonhide battle robes. He gave an approving grunt as he took his place. Finally Arthur Weasley and Remus Lupin arrived together, quietly discussing something between them. They finished their conversation as they took the remaining seats.

Harry surveyed his council as they in turn studied him. The people in this room were the most politically powerful people in Avalon as of this moment. Together they would lead Avalon into a time of Prosperity. And peace. With a deep breath to calm his nerves, Harry began the meeting.

They talked and planned for the rest of the day, The food and drink was emptied and replenished multiple times as they discussed everything needed to re-establish and strengthen the Kingdom of Avalon. Lucius was delegated to contacting the various ministers and leaders of the different magical nations that made up the kingdom. Augusta Longbottom volunteered to assist him in this. Arthur Weasley would handle contacting the non magical leaders. He would assure them that Harry had no intentions of trying to seize power over the muggles. They would be left alone unless provoked.

Stinkblast and Bloodclaw were going to audit the Royal Treasury, ensuring that there was money to maintain and even make some improvements to Avalon. They wore tooth filled smiles as they anticipated the riches now in their care.

Gavin Robards was placed in charge of forming and training a Royal Guard. He would be able to put his years of experience as an auror to good use as he led the newly formed legion. Once he whipped them into shape, Avalon's enemies would be hard pressed to gain any footholds in her borders.

Finally, Remus Lupin would reach out to the different magical creature species, informing them of the King's existence and inquiring after their needs or desires. His calm nature and general soothing aura would do well in comforting the more timid creatures. His werewolf ferocity and strength would ensure the more violence prone remained firmly in control.

They discussed what to do about Dumbledore and Fudge, as well as their various lackeys and stooges. They decided to hold a series of public trials over the course of the following year, beginning with Fudge and ending with the trial of Dumbledore. They wanted as many of Dumbledore's misdeeds to become public knowledge as possible, in hopes of firmly turning the population against him, as well as discovering any of his remaining allies who still walked free.

As they began to wrap up the meeting, Harry asked if there were any troubling situations that he needed to be made aware of. Lucius Malfoy cleared his throat and began to speak.

"As I'm sure Your Majesty is aware, the gods are real and have been known to, put delicately, associate with mortal men and women from time to time. The product of these..hem..associations.. are demigods. Half mortal half divine children with a portion of their divine parents power. I myself am descended from a son of the Norse God Loki. For the last two hundred years, the gods have kept the vast majority of their ventures into the world in the Americas, where their seats of power currently reside. One of their children, though we do not know for certain which one, has stolen the symbol of the Greek God Zeus' power. His master lightning bolt. Zeus believes it was his brother, Poseidon's, youngest son. A boy named Perseus Jackson. I myself do not believe it was him. He is currently on a quest to recover the stolen relic and return it to Zeus before war is declared. I would advise that we do nothing at this time but that we monitor the situation and perhaps quietly gather our forces in preparation for the declaration of war. While demigods are not wizard kind, they are considered part of our world due to their parentage. We would be remiss not to offer them assistance when the time comes."

Harry groaned as Lucius finished speaking. He let his head fall on the table with a loud thud. Cursing whatever twist of fate decided he should be a king, he lifted his head and spoke.

"Do it. I may not have been aware of these people but I won't abandon them in a time of need. Someone should also reach out to them and inform them of my existence as well. I would like regular updates as this situation develops as well."

Remus, having always been fascinated by the stories of the gods' exploits, volunteered to reach out to the various pantheons' descendants. He would seek out the hidden camps he had heard of and meet with the leaders.

With that decided, and with nothing else being brought up, Harry dismissed the council and wished them a happy Yule. They would meet again in the new year to give updates on their various tasks as well as plan the first of the trials. The council stood and bowed before departing to begin the work of restoring Avalon to its rightful glory.

The next couple of days were peaceful for Harry. Something he thanked every god he could remember for. He was able to complete his various holiday assignments for his classes and indulged in some old fashioned relaxation. His council could deal with any troubling issues that cropped up. Finally, on the third day of break, he decided to inspect the wards around the school. He went to Professor Flitwick's office and together they made their way deep into the dungeons, where the ward stone was housed. It was embedded into the bedrock of the school, a massive gemstone engraved with runes to power and direct the wards of the school. Harry stepped in front of the stone, and with a clean silver potions knife, sliced his palms before grasping the stone with both hands and connecting to the wards. Magic formed an aura around him as he worked to correct centuries of damage from various Headmasters altering and adding to the wards. Some he kept, like an improvement on the anti apparition ward. Some he completely destroyed, like a ward that encouraged the animosity between the four houses, laid down by Headmaster Black. Useful wards, like an anti bullying ward were reactivated. He extended the wards to cover Hogsmeade as well as all of the numerous hidden passages in and around the school. He pushed them deep into the Forbidden Forest, purging the last of the dark miasma that hung over the trees and restoring it back to its true nature as more of an Enchanted Forest, full of various creatures and plants useful for a wide variety of potions, as well as offering an extra layer of protection for the school and its students and teachers. He located the curse on the Defense position, a hidden rune carved into the Professor's desk and annihilated it by burning the desk into ash and replacing it with a spare desk in the castle. Harry spent hours pouring over the wards, using every scrap of magic he could spare and drawing on the magic of Avalon to correct and strengthen them. As he worked, Professor Flitwick stood guard, wand drawn and poised to defend him from any would-be saboteurs. Finally, he disconnected from the wards with a gasp. He lifted his bloody hands and sagged as a wave of exhaustion hit him. With a wave of his wand, Flitwick healed and cleaned his hands before offering him Blood Replenishers and Pepper Up Potions. Downing one of each, Harry nodded and together the two made their way back into the castle proper and to the Headmaster's office to discuss what he had found.

Taking seats in front of the warm fire, Professor Flitwick called for refreshments and the two tired wizards ate in silence for nearly an hour before he banished the food and asked for two cups of tea with a splash of whiskey. Offering one to Harry, he doctered his own before settling back in the chair with a sigh.

"I take it that there were more problems than we anticipated, then?" he inquired, taking a sip of his tea.

Harry groaned as he settled with his own cup of tea and answered. "The wards were absolutely destroyed. It's a miracle they were even functioning with all the modifications that had been made. A single misfired spell could have caused a cataclysmic collapse and wiped out all life within a hundred kilometers of the castle."

Flitwick gasped as the severity of the danger was revealed. What had been done to cause the wards to be that dangerously close to a disastrous outcome?

Harry nodded as he saw the realization on the professor's face. "I was able to fix everything as well as add a few newer wards I have studied in preparation that should be very helpful in protecting the castle and its residents. I was able to extend them out over Hogsmeade and the forest as well as fully cleanse the darkness in the forest. It should be safe for students to enter without fear of encountering some nasty creature. Though I would caution them to avoid the centaur herd. They can be difficult on their best day."

Flitwick gave an understanding nod and the two wizards sat together for a while longer, silently enjoying their tea as they pondered the danger that had thankfully been averted.

A few days later, well rested and recovered, Harry arrived for his meeting with Queen Elizabeth. They were meeting at Balmoral Castle, as Elizabeth preferred to spend a peaceful holiday in the country with her closest family around her. He was once again dressed in his best clothes but he had forgone wearing Excalibur so as not to appear threatening to her security team. No need to cause problems where there weren't any. He had his wand and could summon the sword to him if needed with just a thought. After passing through the rigorous security around the queen, Harry was led to a small parlour where the Royal family was gathered together, enjoying the break from public eyes. With a nod of thanks to the page who led him, Harry stepped forward and gave a regal bow to the queen. They were technically on equal standing, but he had spent his entire life being taught that no one was more important than the Queen of England.

"Good morning, Your Majesty, I hope today finds you well."

Queen Elizabeth watched the young, newly invested monarch in front of her with a gleam in her eye.

" I do believe I instructed you to call me Grandmother at the close of our last meeting. Now please stop the ridiculous bowing and come give me a hug, young man."

Harry grinned sheepishly as the rest of the Royal family laughed in joy. He stood and stepped over to where Elizabeth sat before being warmly embraced in the stately arms of the monarch. Stepping out of the embrace, he sat in a nearby chair and spent time catching up with the royal family over an excellent tea. They spoke of events within each of their Kingdoms and Elizabeth offered him advice on how to deal with the other mundane leaders in his various territories. Finally they spoke about the reason he was at Balmoral. The attempted attack on the Royal Family and what to do with the perpetrators.

"I must admit I was quite surprised by the attempt. If not for the wards you secretly had erected, I fear the attackers would have been successful in eliminating myself as well as the majority of my immediate family." Queen Elizabeth began, holding her two grandsons tightly as she thought of the danger they were nearly put in.

"I can only offer the most humble and sincere of apologies for the peril you all faced. This attack was planned and carried out by members of the now defunct Wizengamot, a kind of Magical Parliament, hoping to regain some of their former prestige by essentially gifting me the nation on a silver platter. I had no knowledge of their plans until the wards alerted me to the attack." Harry explained, anger at the attackers obvious in his voice.

"I never believed otherwise, dear. And those wards you had put up made apprehending them a mere trifle. The question remains however, what are we to do with them?" Elizabeth responded kindly, taking Harry's hand in a gentle grasp.

"I must confess, I am uncertain." he began, hesitantly, "I am aware that were they non magical the penalty would be a swift and likely painful execution, but I am reluctant to condemn them to such a fate. I dislike the thought of being responsible for such a bloodbath, especially so soon in my reign. They deserve a fittingly harsh punishment however. One that will discourage others from making any similar attempts. Mere imprisonment would not be enough."

"I share your disdain for bloodshed, Hadrian. I find the death penalty to be a rather barbaric practice and would not have it in my kingdom." Elizabeth spoke firmly, but with gentility in her voice, "However, I also agree that mere imprisonment is not a sufficient punishment. We must find a solution that is strong enough to discourage future attempts as well as show that we rule with mercy. Have you any ideas you feel might work, my dear?"

"One of my roles as the King of Avalon is Protector and Guardian of Magic. I believe, if I were to call upon the realm, I can remove their magic completely, leaving them as simple mundane men and women. I feel that this as well as being paraded through the streets and publicly flogged before being imprisoned for the remaining years of their life would send the appropriate message to people of both our respective nations, Your Majesty." Harry answered after a moment.

Queen Elizabeth considered the boy king in front of her with a heavy, penetrating gaze before nodding at some unseen answer. "I do believe that will be a most fitting and just solution. Harsh, to be sure. But merciful in that they will be allowed to live out their remaining years in relative peace, provided they behave appropriately. Well reasoned, young man. We shall send out a notice to the press informing the public of the attack and the subsequent punishment. Shall we say next week, perhaps the Second of January?"

Agreeing, Harry once more relaxed in his seat, relieved to have the attack and its subsequent conversation behind him. The Hogwarts Express would return to the castle on the fifth, giving him two days to weather any fallout from his judgement before returning to school for his first year.

Seeing Harry agree, Elizabeth turned her attention to holiday plans. After learning that he had no prior plans, save for visiting his godfathers, She invited Harry to spend his remaining break with her family, offering him a suite of rooms for him as well as Sirius and Remus to stay in for the holiday season.

Harry graciously agreed and sent word to his godfathers both official and honorary to join him.

The three wizards spent a quiet holiday among the Royal family at Balmoral, laughing happily and holding a miniature prank war with the two young princes. It was during this they discovered that William had magic. His grandmother and parents were informed of the news and arrangements were being made for his education in two years. He would attend Hogwarts under his mother's maiden name of Spencer and a young squib child would be found to take his place at Eton, under polyjuice potion. His brother would be watched and if he showed signs of magic would join him at Hogwarts in time. Diana and Charles were overjoyed at the news and began to regain some of their former closeness as they celebrated together.

All good things must sadly end however, and as the morning of January second dawned, Harry felt his short lived peace come to an end. It was a dreary, wet morning. Fitting if one considered what was about to happen. He had returned to Buckingham Palace with the Royal Family yesterday and had spent a sleepless night staring into the fire as he prepared to deliver his first judgement as King. He had arranged for Amelia Bones and a reporter for the Daily Prophet to meet him and Queen Elizabeth at the Tower of London. They would witness and report the punishment to the rest of the magical world.

Harry and Elizabeth met for a light breakfast in the early hours of the morning, around six o'clock, before departing together, with their respective security details for the Tower. Harry once more was dressed in his kingly attire and had Excalibur at his side, having summoned it to him last night. They arrived to see crowds already gathered outside, with some enterprising merchants selling rotten fruit and vegetables for the crowd to throw at the soon to be revealed prisoners. Elizabeth was a much beloved ruler. Together, the two monarchs entered the Tower and were led deep inside to hidden and heavily warded cells were guarded by a regiment of Queens Guards, who snapped to attention at the sight of Elizabeth. Each of the large cells held ten witches and wizards, who glared at Elizabeth before turning to looks of fear when they saw Harry. Harry waited while the Royal Writ was read out to them, before stepping forward and silencing them all with a word. Drawing Excalibur, he raised the sword above his head and began to speak:

Magicam Avalonis iudicium appello. Isti ante me abusi sunt dono eis dato, et maleficis suis ad nocendum usi sunt. Retrahe donum, et redde magicam in terram, ut emundetur et adhibeatur ad meliorationem filiorum Avalon. Sic ego dico, sic fiat fiat.

Harry spoke in a strong voice, echoing with power. Magic built as he spoke, surrounding everyone and pressing down on them as they were judged. It swelled as he recited the spell he had spent days developing before flooding out of the Tower as he finished, swinging Excalibur down through the air in front of him. He staggered as a portion of the magic flowed into him, revitalizing his weary arms and expanding his own core just a little more.

Inside the cells, the imprisoned witches and wizard shrieked under the silencing charm as their magic was violently ripped from them and returned to Avalon. They stood gasping and shaking, completely broken, when it was over. Not being given any time to recover, they were each manacled and led out behind the two monarchs, the silencing charm lifted from them by Amelia Bones as she followed behind them. They squinted as the newly risen sun hit their faces, the first daylight they had seen since they attacked the palace. Harry assisted Elizabeth into the waiting car before joining her and being driven back to Buckingham. The prisoners would be made to walk, as the gathered crowds hurled abuse and rotted food at them. Once they arrived they were chained to posts that had been erected in the courtyard in front of the castle. A separate writ was read out for the public, omitting any mention of magic. They would each receive sixty lashes from a nine tailed flogger, imbued with stinging and low-level cutting spells for extra punishment. Two lashes for each person who had attempted to attack and kill the Royal Family. Harry and Elizabeth watched silently from a balcony overlooking the courtyard as the punishment was carried out. After the last strike was laid, the prisoners were released from the posts and taken to receive medical care before being shipped to different high security prisons around the United Kingdom. Harry and Elizabeth nodded once before turning to re-enter the palace and have a silent, reflective tea together before Harry departed to return to his duties to the magical world.

Spell translation:

I call upon the magic of Avalon for judgement. Those before me have abused the gift given them and used their magic to do harm. Take back the gift and return the magic to the land, so that it may be cleansed and used for the betterment of the children of Avalon. So i say, so mote it be.
