"How I Met Your Mother" Death Note Edition
Five years ago, a criminal at large, has taken many lives all over the United Kingdom and Ireland. They were elusive, covering all tracks and traces of their true identity. The case, however, was so severe that the Scotland Yard had to resort to contacting L. Unsurprisingly, L was already aware and several steps ahead on working on the case. However, as weeks go by, L became more and more invested in the case the harder and harder it gets to catch the culprit. At that point, both L and Scotland Yard contacted another, yet reliable private investigator by the name of Larcy Watson who is also fascinated with this case.
Guess this is the hotel where I'll meet L at. Not bad.
A woman with long, white shimmering hair enters the building. She pulls her sunglasses up revealing her light, crystal blue eyes. Scanning the hotel, she enters its empty restaurant as instructed in her text message. There she finds a black-hair man sitting on the chair hunched over munching on sweets presented on the table. The man tuns around in a swift staring at her.
Larcy silently sits on the opposite side of the table. A moment of awkward silence fills the air.
"Not hungry? I ordered more than enough for the both of us to eat," L said with his mouth full.
"Thank you," she takes a sip of Earl Grey, "this is a rather interesting predicament. People dropping like flies here and there. Left and right. You made the right decision to call me here since we're both interested, L."
"It's funny how you are a literal Watson to my Sherlock Holmes," he pours a disgustingly amount of sugar in his tea.
"I'm not surprised. Life sure is funny and unpredictable. You even book a room for us. Me and you in the same room," she takes a bite on a mini fruit tart.
"I wanted to be with my partner," L said bluntly.
Larcy giggles, knowing one of his reasons to keep an eye on her. Not because of any romantic feelings (since he is married to the job), but she already knew L has a gut feeling about her. The woman he is sitting across from may not be human no matter how human she looks. There is nothing unusual about her appearance, but beyond the deadly combination of beauty and brains lies a secret that he may not believe is possible.
As the two were discussing the case, a woman with blonde hair and ruby red eyes listens to them from a distance in the shadows.
So, this is the man my daughter is meeting with, the worldwide famous detective, L. Well, he isn't bad looking and he's quite smart too. Smart enough to have a conversation with Larcy and at least matches with her intellectual level. I like the fact that he never goes gaga for her looks. An interesting human indeed.
The blonde woman quietly leaves with a sinister smile on her face.
