"There's a small sailboat adrift in the ocean up ahead." Shimo says looking out from the south of our boat.

"Could be a trap!" Zoro says, turning towards the boat's direction.

The person in the boat looks up at us before they start weaving and yelling.

Upon closer inspection they appear to be female. "Help my Admiral is dying!"

Zoro seems to be staring more intently than I am, almost like something was off about this girl. After a couple of minutes Shimo says, "wait! Is that Johnnie?"

"Johnnie?!" Zoro says as the name piques my interest." Quick Luffy, sail towards them, I know them!" As our boat moves closer, I quickly use deep observe.

Wow, even Johnny and Yosaku weren't safe from being messed with. Johnny was now a pokegirl and the spelling of his or should I say her name was changed to end with ie instead of y. Things were definitely progressing differently than in canon. As Luffy and the crew didn't run into Johnny and Yosaku till after they recruited Usopp . Though it was ironic that Johnnie was a pirate breed, despite being a bounty hunter.

"Help!" Johnnie says, before catching sight of Zoro and Shimo. "Zoro-Anaki, Shimo-ane, help Admiral Yosaku is really sick!"

I take in Johnnie's appearance. She has on a crop top, short denim jacket that only reaches her waist and black booty shorts. The sunglasses, arm band and watch are still present, but the watch is bedazzled. Her figure is shapely and curvaceous, with if I had to guess a B almost C-cup chest.

Shimo and Zorro turn the boat towards Johnnie, and as we approach I see the familiar scene from the anime. Yosaku was lying in the boat looking as pale as a ghost, blood slowly dripping from his mouth.

"I don't know what to do!!! I can't lose Admiral Yosaku!"

Nami quickly speaks up, " How the hell are you sailing around when you have no clue what scurvy is? Shimo, do we have citrus fruit?"

"No, unfortunately we don't!" Shimo replies with her head down.

"Damn it!" Nami replies looking down at her map of the surrounding islands. She looks up, before turning to me. " "Luffy turn the boat to port side, see the seagulls over there. That means land is close and it should be the Gecko Islands where you need to go. Johnnie was it? I need you to trust us. We will make sure that your Tamer is safe."

Johnnie nods as Nami summons a rope made out of the sea water. She quickly wraps water rope around the stern of our boat and the bow of Johnnie's. Even though water should not have been able to hold the boat like that it does. Nami starts pulling Johnnie's boat behind us. However her water quickly starts losing its grip, but it is quickly rectified by Shimo who uses her own abilities to strengthen the water.

After about twenty minutes we finally reached the shore of the Gecko Islands. Nami ties her bandana back on head once again covering her ears. "Luffy, this is the Gecko Islands and according to the map I have, there should be a small village named Syrup Village around here. Johnnie, we should be able to for your Ta-"

"SSSHHHH!!!! We are being watched!" Zoro says before pointing to the cliffside that Usopp was on."You four, what are you doing watching us?"

"Shit! We have been found out!" yell Carrot, Onion, and Pepper before running away.

"Hey! Don't run away!" Usopp yells after them. He quickly turns to us with a worried look on his face before delivering his first lie of the series. " I am the commander of a pirate fleet of over eight thousand men, and the ruler of this village. Perhaps you have heard of me, I'm the great Captain Usopp!"

"Shut up! I don't have time for your lies, my Admiral is dying!" Johnnie yells.

"We just need some citrus fruit!" Shimo yells." He has scurvy!"

Usopp quickly runs down, before looking over the edge of Johnnie's boat. "He doesn't look so good! We can take him to my house! You said all he needs is citrus. I have some limes at my house. Will those do?

"Yes those should!" Nami replies as Johnnie and Shimo carefully lift Yosaku out of the boat.

"Where is your house?" Johnnie asks swinging Yosaku over her shoulders piggyback style.

"It's on the edge of town, just follow me!" Usopp replies as he starts running up the hill leading towards the village. As he runs to his house I catch up to him," by the way! You're Yasopp's kid right?!"

"You know my father!" Usopp says, turning to me with excitement in his eyes.

"Yea," I say, deciding to give how canon Luffy knew him, rather than myself. "Though the last time I saw him was about 10 years ago. Last I heard he is an executive and Sharpshooter for the Red Hair Pirates. He is a powerful and infamous pirate in the Grand line."

Usopp looks at me with a look of amazement in his eyes as I continue."By the way, I'm Luffy, captain of the Straw Hat pirates."

As we approach Usopp's house, he quickly turns to Johnnie " Quickly lay him on my bed!"

Johnnie complies and lays her master down gently on the bed. Usopp runs outside and comes back in a couple of moments with a barrel. He takes the top of the barrel revealing it to be half full of limes. Johnnie quickly rushes over to the barrel, as she and Usopp proceed to shove whole limes in Yosaku's mouth. A feat that Canon Luffy would have probably joined them on.

Nami walks up behind the two smacking them both in the back of the head." Idiots! We're trying to save him, not kill him!"

I quickly grab some limes and a knife from the knife rack. I cut ten limes in and squeeze the juice into a cup, before handing it to Nami. "Here give him this."

She graciously takes the cup before saying," thank you, Luffy. At least someone here is sensible."

Wow! Those are two words that would never be said to Luffy in canon. "You're welcome Nami. "

After pulling the limes out of his mouth, Nami pours the lime juice into Yosaku's mouth. After about ten minutes of waiting he jumps up with his hands in the air." I'm cured!!!"

Normal logic says scurvy is not as easily recovered from, but this an anime world logic does not always apply. This is especially the case for One Piece where milk instantly regrows bones, and cola can power advanced machinery.

Nevertheless, while he is jumping around with Johnnie, I quickly take the time to use my observe skill on him.

"Glad to see you're doing okay!" Comes the voice of Zoro who had been silently leaning against the wall up until this point.

"Yea we were incredibly worried about you." Shimo says as she leans against the same wall that Zoro was leaning against.

As they jump around a stack of wanted posters fall from Johnnie's bag, which is still on her back. I glance down at the posters, noticing a few names from the manga Buggy the Clown 15 million, Don Krieg 17 million, Arlong 20 million, Kuro of a thousand plans 16 million.

Seeing Kuro's wanted poster gave me an idea. I could potentially expedite the syrup Village Arc. "Johnnie, Yosaku, do either of you mind if I take one of these wanted posters?"

"Umm yea sure, go right ahead!" They reply together.

"Thanks," I say, grabbing Kuro's wanted poster. I fold it in half then shove it into the pocket of my shorts, before turning Usopp." Say, do you know anywhere where we can get a better ship?"

"Yea! A friend of mine lives in the big mansion on the edge of the village. You can see it no matter where you are in the village, so you can't miss it. I'm sure the mistress of the mansion can help. Anyway she has a ship that she is not using. Maybe she will let you have it?

"Yea I'll check into it! You said she was your friend, can you introduce us?" I ask knowing full well that Kaya and Usopp were close.

"I sure can!" Usopp replies. "Quickly, follow me!"

Usopp runs out the door as myself, Nami, Zoro, Shimo follow, as do Johnnie and Yosaku. With great speed Usopp runs towards Kaya's mansion, when we finally arrive. Usopp starts

climbing over the hedges but I stop him.

"I can get you over the fence easier." Usopp looks at me with a slightly puzzled look. I stretch my right arm out wrapping it around everybody that is present. With my left hand I grabbed the edge of the hedges."Gomu Gomu no: Rocket!"

I shoot through the air dragging everyone in tow, as they scream. When we will land on the other side of the fence Nami punches me straight in the top of the head." What the fuck?! Luffy, are you trying to kill us?"

Damn Nami's punch's hurt!

After recovering from my Gomu Gomu no: Rocket. Usopp looks at me with a weird look, " your body stretched like rubber. What kind of monster are you? That's not normal even for blood gifts!"

"Oh I ate a Devil fruit, the Gomu Gomu no Mi to be precise, I am a rubber man. " I say as I put a finger in my mouth and stretch out my jaw a little bit.

Usopp stares at me with a blank expression, just as the window to the mansion swings open." Usopp!!!"

Everyone's gaze immediately turns to the window. As I catch notice of an incredibly beautiful girl with brown eyes and blonde hair. While I couldn't see her from the waist down she was wearing a simple white dress. She was just as gorgeous as I imagined she would be.

"Kaya!" Usopp says with a large smile plastered across this face.

"Oh! You brought friends Usopp ?" Kaya asks, staring at myself and everyone else.

"Yea, they are a real live pirate crew! They are looking for a ship and I thought th-"

"That you and your new pirate friends could take advantage of Mistress Kaya, by stealing her personal ship."

I look towards the direction of the voice to a man with big round glasses walking towards us. He has slicked back dark green hair and is wearing a black suit and tie with a white dress shirt. There was no mistaking it, this man was Captain Kuro.

I quickly use the observe skill on him revealing his stats.

"Klahadore stop! Leave Usopp alone! Apologize to him right now!"

"Why should I apologize to him? He's uncivilized, besides my words are the truth. "He turns his gaze from Kaya back to Usopp. "I feel sorry for you… you hate your father don't you? Because he was a stupid worthless treasure hunter who abandoned his family."

" Don't you say another word about my father!"

"Or what? You are not very smart are you? You should have just told your usual lies and said that your father was just a traveling Merchant or that you're not even blood related."

" Shut the fuck up!!!" Usopp yells as he punches Kuro straight in the face. "I'm proud of my father! He is a brave warrior of the sea! Yeah maybe I like to lie, but I'm proud to have a pirate's blood coursing to my veins! And I won't pretend that I'm not, I'm proud to be the son of a pirate!"

Kuro and Usopp argue back and forth until Kaya interjects," stop it Usopp! Klahadore is only this way because he cares so much about me, he may seem mean but he's not a bad person."

Time to make my move, "Sorry miss Kaya was it? But I beg to differ, your sweet butler is not the man you think he is. Tell me, have you heard of the Infamous captain of the Black Cat Pirates, Kuro of a thousand plans?"

I say it loud enough that everyone turns their attention to me, Kaya simply stares at me before responding. "Yea, but what does that have to do with Klahadore?"

"Well, according to the official reports Captain Kuro was captured by Chief Petty Officer Ax hand Morgan three years ago. He was later executed and Morgan was promoted to Captain for his valiant efforts. But…" I pull Kuro's wanted poster from my pocket and hand it to Kaya. " … that's not what really happened."

Kaya's face turns to a look of horror." This… this is… Klahadore!" She turns to look at her butler. "Is it true Klahadore? Are you really Captain Kuro?"

" They're obviously lying, it is what pirates do!"

Then she holds up his wanted poster, "then how do you explain your picture on this wanted poster?"

"It's no lie, that is indeed your butler."

"Hahaha! I applaud you boy, you figured me out. However I am Kuro of a thousand plans, you don't think I prepared for this possibility."

Kuro pulls a pink Pokéball with a heart design on it, he chucks it at Kaya. The ball shakes for a few moments before stopping effectively trapping Kaya inside of the Pokéball. "Go ahead, reveal me to the village. I doubt anyone will believe you, you don't have the best reputation in this village. If you want to challenge me then meet me on the Northern shore at sunrise"

I had hoped to be able to take him down here, but I hadn't expected him to trap Kaya in pokeball. Was she a pokegirl? No she didn't have any animalistic features or nor did she have the body for one of the human looking breeds? The ball itself didn't even look like a standard pokeball, it was a dark pink with a lighter pink heart on it. No it couldn't be… a loveball.

In Pokémon canon love ball simply helped a Pokémon become friendly fast, but in pokegirl canon they served a very different purpose. To put it in simple terms: forced threshold.

Threshold was normally a natural occurrence, in which girls with pokegirl dna would have to deal with the chance of becoming a pokegirl. This was usually around their 16th birthday, though in some cases it could happen earlier, later or not all. Loveballs however changed that.

They could force the change of threshold onto others, forcing them to become pokegirls whether they would have become one naturally to or not. If Kuro had indeed used one on Kaya, then she was now a pokegirl. What breed however would depend on whatever typing had the strongest presence in her dna.

" Very well," I say knowing full well that he had the advantage here. He wasn't called Kuro of a thousand plans for nothing.

"Good, now that we are in agreement may I kindly ask you to remove yourself from the premises?"

With that, I quickly leave the grounds of the mansion followed by everyone. Usopp reluctantly leaves as well, but as we reach the gates his anger reaches its limit. "Damn him, that stupid pirate pretending to be a butler all this time. His actions not only bring shame to people like my father, but also put people in danger. He needs to be stopped and how the hell did he put Kaya in Pokéball? She is not a pokegirl, she is human.

"Come on Usopp, we will crash at your place for the night. I promise you I will do everything I can to save Kaya, but in the meantime, we should rest up and be prepared for a fight tomorrow. When we get there I will tell you about how he was able to trap her in a pokeball."

I could tell that Usopp was not one hundred percent okay with leaving Kaya in the hands of Kuro, but was also not stupid. He probably figured we would need some kind of plan to take him out. He agrees to waiting until tomorrow to take out Kuro.

After a restless night the seven of us wake up to the sound of the alarm clock going off. Usopp had said it last night to make sure that we would be up just before sunrise. As we walk to the northern Shore I say, "Ok so he has probably brought his old crew along and will be planning to ambush us when we get there."

I had consulted Johnnie and Yosuke the night before to get any information on his crew. They said that after his apparent death, his first mate took over as captain. A man by the name of Jango the Hypnotist. Other notable members included two catgirls named Bersaba and Shamir.

Kuro's crew was pretty much the same, the only difference being that the Nyaban brothers were now the Nyaban sisters. With this knowledge I formulated a plan and told it to our group.

We wait at the shore and sure enough Kuro shows up just as the Black Cat pirate ship reaches the shore. Decided to show up." You decided to show up?

"Of course Kuro! I'm here to kick your ass!" I say as I stare up at him while cracking my knuckles.

"That's a pretty bold statement kid!" Cora says before reaching into a large bag on his back and pulling out his signature cat claws. He puts them on before pushing up his glasses, with his palm. " However, I would much rather avoid conflict so defeat my men first and just maybe you can have a crack at me."

As he says that there is laughing from behind us, signaling that the Black Cat Pirates had come ashore. I look at Zoro and Shimo who nod, as they turn and start tearing through the Black Cat mooks, before eventually settling on their opponents, the Nyaban sisters. Shimo attacks Bersaba, while Zoro takes on Shamir.

While not officially part of my crew Johnnie and Yosaku who had agreed to follow my orders for the battle. They had been assigned to clean up duty and taking care of the many random Black Cat Pirates. That left Jango to Usopp and Nami, they had only one goal to prevent him from hypnotizing the Black Cat Pirates to go beyond their limits like he had done in canon.

I look at Kuro," I think my crew has that covered. Now… Gomu Gomu no: Pistol!"

I shoot my fist forward, quickly making contact with Kuro's face. After a couple of moments he gets back up. "What an interesting power! You've eaten one of the devil's fruits haven't you? Interesting."

Koro charges at ready to swipe at me with his cat claws. As he does so he vanishes from sight, but I knew he was going to come behind me. I turn just in time to see him appear behind, I duck down before delivering an uppercut punch straight to the jaw.

Kuro regains his composure before asking, "Why are you even doing this? Why do you care so much about this Village?"

"Because you plan to kill a few of its residents and life is precious, I won't allow innocent people to die on my watch."

"And that is the reason that you chose to die? To protect a spoiled rich girl and a worthless liar?"

I don't respond and instead throw another punch straight at Kuro's face. " and now you're going to die here! The plan you've been working on for 3 years is about to come crashing down."

Kuro cringes slightly at my words, before charging at me again stabbing forward with one of his hands. I side step the attack and punch down one the back of Kuro's head. The impact causes him to fall face first into the ground.

As he makes contact three Pokéballs fall from his jacket, all of them open and one of them releases Kaya from within. She looked pretty much the same but now had fox-like ears and a tail. She screams as she sees Kuro and I fighting before running off. Usopp see her and runs after her

Kuro dives for her pokeball because, but I also dive for the pokeballs. I manage to swipe one of them before he grabs one thanks to my devil fruit. Thinking quickly, I throw the pokeball at Kuro's head. As the ball smacks him disappears in a flash of red light, before it falls to the ground.

The ball shakes, once, twice, three times, before stopping revealing Kuro's successful capture in a loveball. I walk over to the ball and pick it up before turning to the Black Cat Pirates. I notice Bersaba laying on the ground unconscious, and Shamir is missing. Zoro holding a pokeball in his hand.

"Listen up Black Cat Pirates!" I say holding up the loveball containing Kuro," I have captured your captain in a loveball. Get out of here while you still can or suffer the same fate!"

What pirate mooks aren't dead look at me with looks that almost show fear. We had defeated their strongest fighters and captured them so easily.

'Defeated Captain Kuro and the Black Cat Pirates exp gained, level up gained.'

Wow actually went up two levels for that.

'Bonus objective completed capture Captain Kuro in his own loveballs bonus exp gained'

Thinking back to when the system told me I could check a person's skills using observe when my intelligence was at 50 I decide to sink all 10 points into intelligence.

I look back up to see the black cat Pirates staring back at me, before they start scrambling back to their ship and sailing away. Once they are a good distance away I turn to Zoro, "did u catch one of the Nyaban sisters?"

"Yea," he replies." I caught the green haired one"

"Are you gonna keep her?"

"I don't know yet! I've only ever really needed Shimo!"

"It's ok, master," Shimo says, turning to Zoro." I don't mind if I get a few Harem sisters, I mean know that you have always wanted a Brewmistress because of what she can do with alcohol."

Given Zoro's love for alcohol, a desire to get a Brewmistress came as no surprise. They were a pretty sought after breed due to their rather unique body. They are essentially an alchemist's wet dream. The ability to eat various ingredients and then lactate the combination of them from their breasts. According to the pokegirls lore, this made them popular with bars due to the fact that they were essentially a beer keg and a tavern wench at the same time.

"Zoro, give yourself some time to think on whether or not you want to keep Shamir. In the meantime can you do me a favor and also catch Bersaba, even if you don't want her we can sell her and we can use the money to buy more pokeballs."

Zoro nods as throws another Pokeball at the unconscious Bersaba. She instantly gets captured with no fight whatsoever. Then after a couple of minutes Usopp returns with Kaya. I now get a closer look at her as stated he looks the exact same but had fox ears and a tail. 'System deep observe Kaya'

"It's not your fault Kaya. Kuro was an evil man and I was happy to free you from him. Considering he trapped you in a loveball, I don't need to tell you what he was probably going to do with you afterwards."

"Yea, I don't want to think about that!" She says." But whether I like it or not I am now a pokegirl. I'm gonna start having urges eventually, I'll eventually go feral and become nothing but a mindless animal. I… I don't want that."

Usopp grabs her hand, "K-Kaya it's my fault. It's all my fault, I failed to protect you and now you are a pokegirl because of it. I… I… don't know what to say."

Kaya turns to Usopp and grabs his chin. She looks him straight in the eyes, before kissing him. I notice Usopp's eyes widen, before he closes them and just lets it happen. After a moment or two she breaks away from the kiss, and says" Say that you'll be my tamer. If I'm going to be spending the rest of my life this way, then I want it to be with you."

"But… but I was going to go out to be a pirate. Luffy and his friends inspired me to do so and I don't want to see you hurt."

"Usopp I figured you were going to say that, and I'm fully prepared to go out to sea with you. Even more so now that I have the power to defend myself. I've made up my mind and you're not leaving without me." Kaya turns to me," now I remember you saying something about needing a ship before Kuro balled me."

"Yes, I was hoping you could help with that. I can't be a proper pirate without a ship, now can I?"

Right, I Suppose not! By the way, you must be tired from fighting Kuro. Please rest up in my mansion for a few hours and then we can set out this evening."

"Sure thing" I say happily, agreeing to the offer, figuring she probably also wanted to let Usopp officially give her a good taming and claim her as his.

She silently turns and leads us to the mansion. Getting a few stairs as the people notice her new animal features. She just Ignores the stares and whispers till we reach the gate.

It had one person standing guard at the gate. He notices us approaching, and looks up and down Kaya." Kaya-sama! What… What happened? Why are you a…"

"Klahadore turned out to be evil, he was really a pirate trying to steal my fortune. He loveballed me and that's why I look this way. But the ones behind me saved me. Now please let us in, Frederick."

"Right away Kaya-sama!"

As we walk into the mansion we are greeted by a familiar face. The face of Kaya's other butler Merry. He welcomes us in, briefly questioning Kaya's new appearance. She gives him a quick explanation. she also mentions that she was giving us her ship as a thank you and going to set sail to become a pirate with Usopp as her tamer.

Merry nods as she finishes." Well Kaya-sama if this is what you want, then who am I to stop you? If you plan on leaving later today, then rest up. When you are ready to set sail, I will take you to the Going Merry."
