"Wait what? Nojiko what did you say?"
It has been 3 days since the death of Arong. Nami and I had spent a lot of that in a nice long taming session. Nami had also gotten her signature pinwheel tattoo to cover up the scarring from her stab wound. The partying had subsided and we were ready to depart, Nojiko was hanging all over Zoro. He had followed her to Nami and Nojiko's house.
"I said that I'm coming with you and that I have become Zoro-Sama's pokegirl."
That was definitely a twist that I didn't see coming, though given the fact that Nojiko is a Brewmistress it doesn't surprise me that Zoro managed to tame her.
Nami looks at Zoro with a slightly annoyed look." I can't say that I am 100% happy that you managed to tame my older sister, but I suppose it would be fun to have her along on this great adventure. However, you better take good care of her, Zoro or I will kill you."
She lets out a large amount of ghostly malice directed right at Zoro, which causes him to falter just slightly. Earning a laugh from everyone but him, and after everyone had finished laughing Nami looks up to the sky. " Nojiko?"
"Yes Nami?"
"Do you think Bellemere would be proud of the women we have become? Would she approve of us going off and becoming pirates?"
"Yes Nami, she would be proud. She always wanted us to live our lives to the fullest, if we had expressed interest in becoming pirates then, I'm sure she would tell us to go follow our dreams."
"Yea I suppose you're right." Nami sits there in silence for a few minutes more, before turning to look at everyone. " You all go on ahead, I'll be along shortly!"
I nod and walk out the door followed by Zoro and Nojiko. "So Zoro what happened between you and Nojiko?"
"Well she is a Brewmistress, and I have always wanted one. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get one, so I asked her if she wanted to spend the night partying with me. After a long night of partying and copious amounts of alcohol, we ended up succumbing to our baser instincts and taming!"
"I see well, at least tell me what type of sake does she- "
His voice is cut off by Nojiko's own voice, "My specialty is Mikan flavored sake!"
Mikan flavored sake sounded amazing, although I doubt I would get to try any if Zoro had his way.
We walked through the ship mostly in silence after that, only stopping when villagers expressed their gratitude towards me. The Going Merry was docked against the shores of the village. Ussop, Sanji, Kaya and Uta were on the ship getting ready for departure, Shimo was nowhere to be found.
"Zoro, where is Shimo?"
He doesn't look at me but replies," she is resting inside of her pokeball."
Nojiko stops to save her goodbyes to all of her loved ones in the village, Genzo stops her. "Are you really leaving too, Nojiko?"
"Yes Genzo I am! Zoro-sama is actually quite the Charming person, if you can get around his rough edges."
Genzo turns to Zoro and gives him a look almost as if he didn't quite approve of him. "You! You better make sure that she stays happy!" I chuckle a bit as Zoro gets lectured by Genzo!" And same goes for you boy! If I find out that either of you failed to protect the fine young women, then so help me I will….! "
Even if he was just a civilian, something about the man's words struck fear into me. "You have my word, Genzo!"
I quietly step on board the Going Merry.
We wait five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes and Nami doesn't show up. Then suddenly her voice yells from out in the distance, "SET SAIL!"
She's still intended to leave in the same way that she did in canon! I nod in acknowledgment, even though I knew she couldn't really see me. I turned to Usopp and Kaya, "raise anchor!"
They give me a slightly puzzled look as if asking why but comply anyway. Once the anchor is almost up, Nami begins to take off running. She runs through the crowd of people on the docks nudging and pushing them aside as she does. The Going Merry starts to slowly inch away from Shore, and Nami jumps. The time that she was in the air was the briefest of moments; but it felt like an eternity as she sailed through the air

The sound of her foot hitting the deck of the ship, almost bellows out. She stands there in silence until everyone on the dock starts yelling stuff about their wallets. That's when Nami lifts her shirt up slightly allowing a slew of wallets and random cash to fall from under her shirt.
"Why you?! Come back here you little thief! Give us back our wallets!" Nojiko's just laughs.
A couple more minutes, she just smiles and yells back to them." Goodbye everyone! I'll be back someday and be sure to check the bags I left in my house. "

The next few days of sailing go by with relative ease. No Marine attacks, no unexpected weather, just smooth sailing all the way. In that time I had been making the crew train and they had all improved. Nojiko was lvl 12, Nami 18, Zoro 21, Sanji 19, Usopp 19, kaya 12, Shimo 16, and Uta 22. My own level had gone up 29. I make a note to give Nojiko and Kaya a bit of extra training.
I move to sit on the figurehead of the Merry, no wonder Luffy liked just sitting here. The feeling of the wind as it hits my face, the feeling prue exhilaration was something that was almost addicting. I look back to see Nami arguing with the News Coo about the paper price. Nami takes the paper from the bird and then gives it some money. I get excited, if this was the same moment from the anime then this paper should have my wanted poster in it.
I jump off of the figurehead and rush over to her. "Nami, is there anything in the paper? Like say wanted posters! "
Nami looks through the newspaper to find a stack of papers in it. She hands them to me, as I look through them. Let's see here, ' one-leg Larry 5.5 million, Hanabi Hanyu 3.8 million,' then there was the one I was looking for.
' Monkey D Luffy 50 million' nice! That's already a change from Canon. Because the first bounty should be 30 million. I wonder if it has to do with Nezumi seeing Arlong's decapitated corpse?
"Ohh cool luffy you're worth 50 million! " Ussop yells from over my shoulder.
"There's an article about Luffy in the paper!" Nami says, showing me and everyone else a page of the paper.
It read 'Monkey D Luffy wanted for murder, piracy and for the kidnapping of the upcoming pop sensation Uta. The paper goes into details about how I was the last person seen with her before she disappeared according to a video surveillance from video transponder sales.
The entire crew looks at me and then at Uta. She puts hand up," oh no! I came with Luffy willingly. He is an old friend after all."
"Laaaand!!!" Yells Shimo, the only one who hadn't looked at me.
Nami turns to look at the direction that Shimo is pointing," Ah that must be Polestar Island, which means we are close to the Grand line! The town on that island is known as Loguetown, the town of the beginning and the end. The town where the pirate king Gold Roger was born and executed!"
A good place to stop and buy supplies, and wouldn't mind seeing where the pirate met his end." I say looking at Nami.
"Shall we go then, Luffy?" She asks as I nod. "Right, everyone prepare to make port!"
Everyone rushes around the ship, preparing to dock until we slowly pull up the edge of . The canon Luffy rushed directly to the execution platform where Roger was killed, however I am in no hurry to arrive there. The first place I wanted to go was to find a place to buy and sell pokegirl related products.
Upon making port we disembark from the Going Merry, and approach the large wooden archway with the word "Loguetown" painted on it in large black letters. " OK everyone, look around, grab whatever supplies you need and meet back here in about 6 hours. "
Zoro nods and then turns to ask Nami for some money to buy new swords. She gives him a look of happiness, "Sure I can lend you some money, at 300% interest."
What?! That way too much can't you give it to me for free."
"Nope!"
Zoro turns to his newest pokegirl," Nojiko reason with your sister, get her to give it to me for free or at least with less interest!"
"Sorry Zoro-Sama, but I'm not stupid enough to get in the way of Nami and her money."
He turns to Shimo," help me out Shimo!"
"Sorry Master, but I'm with Nojiko on this one!"
"Some pokegirl you are not even helping you master!"
It was hilarious to watch both of Zoro's pokegirls throw him under the bus like that.
"Nami," I say. "I might need some money too!"
"Sure Luffy!" She says handing me 75,000 beli."
"How come he gets money without all of the interest?"
Nami just smacks a Zoro on the head," because he's our captain idiot!"
Zoro just grumbles to himself as he hands me a pokeball. "That is the pokeball containing that catgirl I caught, sell her for me will you?"
I nod as the crew splits up to go look around the town. The groups Nami Nojiko, Zoro and Shimo, Ussop rushed off on his own, and Sanji ran off to the marketplace. That left Uta, Kaya and myself.
"Uta, I say, " it's probably better that you stay on the ship. You and Kaya can watch over it while we are gone."
Right they both say as I step off the ship and head off into town. The town looked very similar to how it did in the anime and magna. Buildings that are two to three stories line the sides of the street, and the streets are bustling with people and pokegirls. Of course the place I wanted to go was the pokegirl supply shop. I look around but don't see one, I turn to ask someone. "Excuse me but do you know where I can find the pokegirl related stores?"
The man doesn't turn right away, but says yeah it's just down the street a bit, around the town square where the execution platform is. I just came from there. I can take you if you'd like."
It's that the man turns and I recognize him, it was Gin. This was a definite change Luffy had never run into after the Baratie arc. Since he had been affected by the poison from the gas weapon his captain had forced upon him, I always assumed that he had died somewhere but that guess that won't happen since I changed things.
"Gin what are you doing here?"
"Gathering supplies, I plan to head into the grand line. But this time I'm going to be far more cautious than my old Captain ever was. Speaking of that," he pulls a pokeball off of his belt, "would like to meet my pokegirl!"
I knew full well he was speaking of his old captain Don Krieg. I smile and say, "of course."
He presses the button on the pokeball and releases the girl inside." Luffy meet Katrina the slicer!"
The girl that appear was wearing a blue and pink floral pattern mini skirt that was so that it just barely covered her ass. She had on a modified version of her golden armor, which showed off much of her large chest. Her hair was the same light blueish gray that it had been during her time as Don Krieg, though it was now starting to grow out just past her shoulders. On her back is a weapon that looks very much like the exploding spear.
"Katrina huh? Is that your new name Krieg? It suits you. "
"YOU! It's your fault I'm this way in the first place! If you hadn't inspired Gin to turn ag- "
" Katrina quiet!" Gin snaps as he gives Katrina a look of slight anger. " Stop harassing this nice man or you will receive punishment. "
Katrina shuts her mouth, and turns to Gin giving him a slight bow. "Yes Master Gin! Sorry for speaking out of turn."
"Sorry about that Luffy!" Gin says returning Katrina to her pokeball. "She is still learning. I know I could have just given Katrina a level five taming cycle at the pokecenter, but that's not very fun. I think it's better if I break her pride myself."
So taming cycles are also a thing in this world. They were basically a way to subdue and pacify wild pokegirl for taming the level of complexity went up with each level all the way up to level five. Level one would simply calm a girl, though it might not work on some of the more aggressive breeds. Level five is the extreme case that not only makes the girls subdued, but it's suppressed everything including the personality of girls that may have become pokegirls through threshold or loveballs.
"It's ok Gin," I say as he leads me towards the pokegirl store. Much to my disappointment it wasn't called a pokemart, but called Peter's pokegirl Emporium.
I thank Gin and wish him luck out on the Grand Line and he replies in turn with the same thing before walking off. I turn to look at the shop door and walk in. The counter was manned by a girl who looked human, except for rabbit ears on her protruding from the top of her head. A quick scan reveals that she was a level five bunny girl that belongs to the shop owner.
"Hi customer!" She says with Incredible enthusiasm." Welcome to Peter's Pokegirl Emporium. Master Peter is in the office, if you need him let me know. I however will be happy to help, my name is Kirara"
" I'll let you know if I need him, however I would like to buy a few pokeballs and would like to sell a couple of pokegirls."
"Of course!" Kirara says with an excited joy about her." Let's take care of the pokegirl sales first. Well let's see what they are?"
"I would rather not release them as they might be kind of hostile. "
"Oh no that's fine I have a device to scan pokeballs." She says grabbing the pokeballs from my hands. She puts them into small dips on the surface beside her." Let's see here, two cat girls! I can buy them both from you for 100,000 beli."
One hundred thousand would give me One hundred and seventy-five thousand. I wondered if that was enough to get myself a new pokegirl and a few pokeballs. "Say Kirara, I don't suppose you have any pokegirls for sale do you?"
"Oh of course, we have plenty of breeds available, if you're looking for something along the domesticated pet variety like a girl or cat girl then you have come to the right place. Unfortunately according to marine regulations we cannot sell anything beyond cat girls, dog girls and of course bunny girls like myself."
" Let me handle this, Kirara." A voice says as the bunny girl disappears in a flash of red light. In her place is a man with dark hair and dark eyes. "My name is Peter and I can tell that you are the kind of man who would like to see the special stock! "
"And what might make you think of that kind of person?"
" I saw you in the paper earlier this morning quite the impressive bounty you've got there. You don't see too many pirates with bounties that high in these parts, Monkey D Luffy!"
I tense up, was this somehow a trap, was this guy a bounty hunter, was this guy just a random civilian who was going to turn me into the Marines. The man must have sensed my concern as he says.
"Relax young man, I have no interest in turning you in. But rather thought you might be interested in a rather special breed that I have acquired. This is a rare breed however, and I cannot part with her for cheap."
This man had a rare breed for sale. The man could have still been tricking me. I wouldn't put it past anyone in this town, however I feel a sense of curiosity. "Let me see the breed in question before I make my choice, if you please?"
The man nods before pulling a pokeball from behind the counter. " This is a rare breed, said to have come from a winter Island in the Grand Line!"
The man throws the Pokeball in front of me and the girl appears in a flash of red light. She wears a pink tank top, white frilly mini skirt, and a pair of sandals. She had a chest that was at least a B-cup. Her long hair is white and tied and part of it is tied into long ponytails in the back, held together with blue ribbons and her eyes are a beautiful solid blue color.
She was beautiful, and she looked just like… no it couldn't be… could it? She looked just like one of my favorite anime girls, Nao Tomori from Charlotte. I had you know if that god that had sent me here was playing with me at this point. I stare at the Nao look alike for a good few minutes, 'system deep observe'

"She is a Yuki-onna, a breed that is rarely seen outside of the Grand Line. I acquired her through certain means, and can part with her for no less than 200,000 beli." Peter says as he quickly recalls Nao.
In all honesty I couldn't believe this luck, a girl that looks exactly like Nao Tomori and he was a yuki-onna, I had to have her. Though I only had 175,000, time to do a little bit of negotiating. " 200,000 seems a little bit steep don't you think? I mean I'm heading into the Grand Line myself. I could easily just catch one there.
"She is a rare specimen of beauty, surely a beauty like her would be far more expensive anywhere else. If anything I'm cutting you a deal selling her for so cheap.
"Maybe so but 200,000 is still a little bit more than I'm willing to pay. How about 150,000?

I hand the man his money with a smile on my face. I leave the shop, and immediately release her from pokeball. Nao appears in front of me. " So I see that you bought me!"
"Yes!"
" And what might I ask for your intentions? Am I to be a combatant on your pirate crew? Am I to be nothing but a toy for your pleasure and amusement? Am I to spend the rest of my days servicing you in bed? Or did you find me as a trophy just to say you have a yuki-onna?"
"Well I'm not going to lie and say that I don't find you attractive. I think that you are incredibly beautiful."
"Flattery will get you nowhere. "
"Right, well anyway I did essentially buy you hoping that you would join my pirate crew, however I won't force you into it. If you don't want to be a pirate, then I will release you. I would however really like it if you said yes. "
"You'll release me? How do I know that you won't just return me to my ball and level five me. Then I would have no choice but to follow you, because everything I am would be reduced to nothing. All I would have left would be my base instincts as a pokegirl.
"I promise that I won't Force anything upon you that you don't want. I'm not like those perverts that would take advantage of you because of your status as a pokegirl. Instead I offer you protection from perverts like that. If you were caught Farel and didn't have this life forced upon you, things may have been different but I will not rob an innocent girl of her identity and freedom. I also won't force you into a taming with me if you don't want to. "
"Ha! You're not what I expected! But you intrigue me, I will join you for now. I'm Tomori, Nao Tomori. "
"Monkey D. Luffy, captain of the Straw Hat Pirates! It's a pleasure to meet you, Nao! " Even though I already knew the answer I figured I would ask anyway." Considering that you have a first and last name, I take it you are a threshold."
"Yes, though I wasn't a pokegirl until a few days ago. "
"But normally isn't the process a gradual change?"
"Under normal circumstances yes but not when you are loveballed. They force transformation upon someone whether they are female or not!
"You were loveballed?"
"Yes, though I probably would have started to go through my threshold naturally soon anyway. That old bastard was just lucky I had some ice type ancestry. "
"Don't you have a family? Why didn't they stop him from doing that atrocity?"
"My family is gone, and that is all I am going to say on that."
While curious as to what happened to her family, but decide not to press her on the issue. She would open up to me only if I let her be, and I wasn't going to force her to open up before she was ready.
"Okay, I won't force you to talk about your family if you don't want to, but anyway welcome to the Straw Hat Pirates, Nao!"
"Thank you ,Luffy. As your new pokegirl it's an honor to be part of your crew."
"You are very welcome, and the honor is mine to have such a lovely and beautiful lady such as yourself on my crew. Say I'm about to go see the execution platform, before I leave. Would you like to join me?"
Nao nods and I grab her hand. I start pulling her towards the center of the town where the execution platform would be. Then suddenly a voice sounds from behind me.
"Well, well, well, you've made quite the reputation for yourself since you defeated little old me, haven't you? 50 million is quite uncommon for the East Blue."
The voice was sultry and slightly raspy, but it had a sweet almost melodious tone to it. It was definitely female, that much was certain. The only girl I had beaten up until this point was… I turn to face the source of the voice, "Alvida!"
And there she was standing behind me, a beautiful woman with raven colored hair. She is wearing a white cowboy hat, with thick red feathered plume coming out of the back. She dressed in a pearl necklace, a white bikini top, and tight pink and white striped capri pants. She has on a purple overcoat and white sandals revealing her toenails which are painted red
"Oh, so you remember me? I'm flattered!"
"Of course I remember you Alvida, you may look a little bit different but I know it's still you. Say you didn't travel here with a clown did you?"
"What?! Why the hell would I be with some clown? Are you trying to insult me?"
So she hadn't come here with a buggy, like she had in canon. She had, however, still eaten a devil fruit!
"Never mind that, Alvida! I'm more curious as to how and why you have changed since I last met you."
"Ahh yes! After you sent me flying I managed to wash up on the shores of an island. I waited days and weeks for my crew to come save me, but they didn't come. I spent that time in anger towards you, and then everything changed when a mysterious orange fruit washed up on the shores of the island. It was unlike any food I'd ever seen, I figured it was one of them devil fruits like you've eaten. I took a bite and didn't really feel too much of a change in my body, eventually I realized that all that fat was practically melting off my body."
"So you ate a devil fruit?" I asked her even though I already knew the answer.
"Yes, my only regret is that the devil fruit melted off my freckles as well, but I guess there's not really much I can do about it now and the trade-off is worth it I think." She says as she does something that I did not expect at all, the ignites her arm causing it to burst into flames.
