Total Drama: A New Start

A new season of Total Drama has started. Chris McLean has chosen the new contestants for the season. These are the competing contestants:

Tyler

Beth

Katie

Sadie

Bridgette

Sierra

Duncan

Courtney

Harold

This season will take place on camp Wawanakwa, just like many other seasons did.

''It's time to introduce the contestants for this brand new season!'' Chris said clapping.

A big boat has arrived to the island. All of the contestants were on it.

The door of the boat opened and the first people came out. It were Geoff and Bridgette, looking over on the island.

''Nothing has changed here, has it?'' Bridgette asked Chris. ''Nope. Not at all'', he answered. Then the rest of them came walking out of the boat along with their luggage.

''Okay!'' Chris said, clapping his hands. ''Everyone meet at the campfire!''

Everyone was walking to the campfire. It seemed just like it did 17 years ago. Only thing the island looked a little dead with all that yellow and brown grass.

Once everyone has arrived Chris started explaining this season. ''So, you will get a marshmallow like you always did…'' He started. ''Most of the things will stay the same, only thing we have upgraded the ugly old cabins to… well…''

The campers looked surprised and excited to see what Chris would say.

''Tents!'' He exclaimed. It was quiet.

''Can we see them?'' Courtney asked. ''Of course!'' And they walked over to the place where the cabins were 17 years ago. There we 7 pairs of tents, each a different color. ''So this season you will compete as couples,'' Chris explained. ''Each couple will get their own tent. But if you break it, you make it!'' He said laughing.

''So, go ahead and make couples yourselves.'' He said.

Katie and Sadie looked at each other immediately. They chose the hot pink tent.

Geoff and Bridgette also went together.

Sierra was looking at Cody. Well… STARING at Cody like she always does.

''Wanna go get a tent?'' She asked mysteriously. ''Uh…'' Cody replied, looking at Gwen. ''Fine…'' Cody sighed. ''Yay!'' Sierra ran to pick out a tent. ''What about this one?'' Cody looked at the green tent Sierra pointed at. ''Okay.''

Meanwhile Duncan gave Courtney the 'please?' stare. Courtney rolled her eyes and accepted it. They chose the black tent.

Harold didn't really know what to do. He didn't have anyone he really liked on this island, as Leshawna wasn't competing this season.

Lindsay asked Tyler to share a tent. ''Want to share a tent, Taylor?'' She asked, like always, forgetting Tyler's name. ''Of course, but it's Tyler'', he answered. They chose the yellow tent.

Gwen and Trent took it easy and chose the blue tent.

As Harold and Beth were the only ones left, they had to go together. They chose the last tent, a red one.

Now that everyone has a duo, they got their luggage and put it in their tents. Lindsay for some reason also brought some fairy lights she put around her tent. Bridgette thought it was a cute idea.

Some of the people realized Heather wasn't competing this season, and they were very relieved.

Really, there wasn't much different about the rest of the competitors. They were just like they were 17 years ago. Only a little bit older, being about 33 years old now.

Also some had kids. Like Geoff and Bridgette. But that will come in a specific chapter.

Everyone had their tents ready for the first night, as they arrived pretty late. But first it was time for some… ''DINNER!'' Owen screamed. They were all sat at the cafeteria, waiting for their food to be served to them. This was one of the most scary parts to them, as last time the food was literal trash. However, this time looked different…

''Turkey?!'' Owen said, as Chef Hatchet gave everyone a chicken leg. ''No, it's chicken legs today,'' Chef answered. And did they enjoy it? Oh yes, they did! Everyone was talking about how amazing the chicken was.

CONFESSION

Owen: ''I loved todays dinner! WOO!''

Gwen: ''Who knew Chef COULD actually cook good? Wow.''

After eating dinner it was a pretty chill night. Chris set up a horror movie for the contestants to watch. Gwen obviously loved it, so did Duncan. But Lindsay absolutely hates it, and started crying when they were killing people in the movie. Tyler comforted her. After the movie the contestants went to their tents to catch some shut-eye. Geoff didn't fall asleep anytime soon. He wanted to party all night, now no one could sleep because of his screaming and the loud boomboxes playing hardcore music. Chris needed him to stop, so he took the boomboxes away into his own studio. After they all slept well.
