A Japanese martial artist,Ryu was training with an American fighter,Ken. Later that night,an bunch of intruders broke in & killed his parents. He quickly escaped. He was later saved & raised by Gouken.
Many Years Later,Ryu was told about a world fighting tournament,hosted by Bison. He attends along with Ken & the 18 more fighters,including 3 Shadaloo members,F.A.N.G.,Balrog,& Vega. Ryu & Ken won against Birdie & Eagle from England. Retsu,Lee,& Joe gets beaten by Gen,Chun-Li,& F.A.N.G. Blanka,a Brazilian beast like mutant,has won against Zangief,a professional Soviet Wrestler. Guile,a U.S. Soldier,won against Honda,a Sumo,but his friend,Charlie gets beaten by Dhalsim,a Yoga Master from India. Mike gets beaten to death by Balrog & Geki gets slashed to death by Vega.
Chun-Li reveals to Ryu & Ken that her father was murdered. The Second Round begins. Gen gets beaten to death by Balrog. Ryu won against Guile,Ken won against Vega,Chun-Li won against Dhalsim,& F.A.N.G. won against Blanka. Bison scolded Vega for losing & orders F.A.N.G. & Balrog to keep killing their opponents. With 5 of them,Chun-Li earns a free pass for the Semi-Finals. Ryu,Ken,& Chun-Lu learned that Bison wants them dead.
Ken avoid Balrog's punches & defeats him. Ryu wrapped his legs around F.A.N.G.'s neck & kills him. The Tournament gets blown,rigged by Guile & Charlie. Chun-Li confronts Bison. It is revealed that Bison killed her father. The losers helped Ryu & Ken fought against the Shadaloo Troops. Ryu,Ken,Guile,& Charlie came to Chun-Li's aid,Bison sends in the drones with automatic weapons,shooting Charlie,& causing him to tumble into the ocean.
Ken,Guile,& Chun-Li gets overpowered. Ryu fought against Bison,using Hadoken move,obliterating Bison in the process. As Guile mourns for Nash,The Fighters celebrate. Ken tells Ryu that he'll be joining Guile as his partner. Chun-Li ask Ryu about what's gonna happen next,which he answers that he wasn't sure.
Mid-Credits: Balrog & Vega found Bison's burnt remains. Vega assures Balrog that they will bring him back.
