One great ally of the Autobots . . Would be an ally entirely by surprise.

Washington DC. April.

The president of the United States was walking to his office. .

It was a nice warm spring day. He enjoyed it. . Nothing new. Nothing he had to handle. . Maybe he'd take the day off.

A general approached him, "MISTER PRESIDENT!"

He sighed, "Bob. . . Did you have to shout?"

This was general Bob Moroni. Head of the United States army.

(Yeah. Fictional president, fictional general. That's way, uh-huh, uh-huh I like it )

Moroni said, "Sir. . space Force found this. . . You're gonna wanna see it."

The president was shown the aubots' message. .

". . . Inform the media immediately."

New York City. Around the same time.

Six young people were running around the sewers. .

One sarcastically commented, "So what? Are we gonna meet the rat master and become mutant Ninja eagles or something?"

A blonde woman with brown eyes sighed, "Funny. I'm just told we're supposed to go here." she was wearing a black jacket over a striped black and white shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers.

This. . was Maximum "Max" Ride. She was currently following the voice that suddenly appeared in her head to find the "institute of higher living."

Yeah. Even SHE thought she was crazy by this point.

With her was her Flock. . Her family.

Her best friend, Fang. A young man with black hair and blue eyes. Dressed in an all black outfit.

Iggy. The middle boy. He had red hair and faded blue eyes. Dressed in a white shirt, plaid over shirt and jeans with tennis shoes.

Nudge. The middle girl. A young woman with dark skin, brown eyes and black hair. Dressed in a (those who have read volume 2. . . Please tell me how to describe her outfit after they got new clothes. I have no idea how to describe that )

Gazzy. The youngest boy. Dressed in a blue shirt, Navy camouflage vest and army camouflage shorts with sports shoes.

Angel. The youngest girl. Blonde hair, blue eyes dressed in a white button up skirt with a bow under her neck and little pink shorts with sensible shoes.

They got up to the institute and saw. . Other kids like them. Kids who'd been experimented. . Given animal DNA.

One kid with monkey hands and tail. . Another with bird wings. . Etc.

Gazzy said, "Whoa."

Max asked,"who are you?"

". . We don't know." The bird girl said, "We've been here. . Forever."

Fang asked,"Do you remember anything other than being in here?"

No one did

Max said, "Okay. We're getting you out of here. Now. . No more cruel scientists. No more painful experiments. Today you're being freed."

They smiled at that

They freed the experiments and headed outside. .

As they escaped they heard a loud explosion. .

(Switching perspective.)

The British SAS had been deployed to New York City. Special operation. Hunt down terrorist leader Vladimir Makarov. .

Leading the charge was Captain John price.

A gruff looking man looked at him,"you think that slimy bastard's in there?"

Price said,"I know he's in there woods,he's been running all his life but now he's trapped."

"Cool. Bastard slaughtered a lot of innocent Americans. Can't wait to return the fucking favor." Woods said.

Price said, "Then let's get into the city." He turned to a team of four, "You men are from this city. . show us around."

after blowing down a wall with c4.

The men rushed in with guns drawn checking every possible room.

A man with a Scottish accent said, "No sign of him yet sir."

"Keep looking, soap."

They checked the building from the bottom and eventually made their way to the top.

In the main conference room Vladimir Makarov had his men aiming at the doors and had an RPG waiting,"if these American bastards come in, shoot them to hell."

"Da, Makarov Tovarich."

What he didn't know. . outside. . Two other men had a view from a building across the way.

A friend of Woods said, "Hey Woods."

Woods replied,"yeah?"

"Got a visual on Makarov. Top floor conference room. . Holding an RPG. Me and ghost got clear shots."

"Remember. . Brass wants Makarov alive." Price said, "Don't know why but they do."

Ghost said,"no promises,"he then shot makarov in the ass.

Makarov pressed the trigger on the RPG. . Firing at his men.

It blew up and killed six of them.

Woods and the rest of the team came in

Woods radioed his friend, "thanks for the tip Mason."

Makarov went up to his chopper. Running like a BITCH as his men were gunned down by British and American men.

As they chased him. .

They saw. . the explosion.

In the middle of the Atlantic.

Soap asked, "What was that?!"

Makarov used it as a distraction to get away.

Price tuned his radio, "Command?! What the hell was that?!"

"Congrats Captain. . You get to be the first. . go make contact. . With aliens."

Price sighed, "Bloody Hell. . For the first time in a long time you throw me something I have no idea what to do with."

As they headed to the crash site makarov was flying away in a chopper,he smirked,"they will never catch me, I will win this war in the end."

"Makarov takes second priority now. Right now I need you to make sure that whatever is inside that spaceship is not hostile to the fucking people of New York." command shouted in price's ear.

Price sighed, "Acknowledged." He turned to the others, "off to the coastline boys. . Time to show the aliens we mean no harm. . And hope they do the same."

They headed down and got in vehicles,headed straight for the coastline.

They saw a ship. . Alien in nature.

People of New York taking pictures of it every 5 seconds.

A cop shouted, "Hey! Back up you rubes! Wait till the professionals finish their work!"

Soon a hatch opened up.

And out came giant robots.

The people were shocked and rapidly fired pictures and shot videos of them.

One Said in and older redneck voice, "Oh turn the flashing lights off will you?! Just spent megacycles coming to this planet!"

Price shouted, "Good. You speak English! My name is Captain John Price. British SAS. . Welcome to Earth."

The red one with the redneck voice replied, "Ironhide. Commander of the ground forces of the Autobot armies."

Price asked,"why are you here?Do you intend to make peace?…..or war?"

Ironhide said, "Sorry to say but. . We sent out a message into space. . Our second in command, Optimus. . Sent out a message into space. Asking for help with our own civil war. . The Decepticons, enemies of the Autobots. . Have waged war on us for decacycles. . And now. . we ask for help from any planet willing. . I would like to speak to your planet's leadership. . Ask if they would be interested in helping out. . If they agree. . we can give your planet. . Anything you want."

There were a lot of shocked faces from that response.

Price said,"we'll inform our superiors."

They took the time to respond to their commanders.

Price said,"well sir….how can you turn down an offer like that?"

The British prime Minister said, "Captain. . Tomorrow I will be flying to the United States to meet these Autobots. . In the meantime. . I want you to make sure. . That nothing is out of the ordinary. Am I understood?"

"Yes sir."

"Thank you. I should be there tomorrow."

Woods contacted his superiors as well and they basically said the same thing.

Mason said, "Something's not right."

Hudson, their CIA handler, asked, "What do you mean?"

"When we talked to the director. . He hinted at something. . And the president sounded like. . He already KNEW about the aliens." Mason explained

Hudson said,"well the president has access to every known classified information so that shouldn't come up as a surprise."

Mason asked, "how come he wouldn't tell us?"

Hudson replied, "We didn't need to know." He picked up a gun, "Now come on. . got to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary."

They did a patrol around the area.

Back with the Flock. .

Once the other kids were free and flying. .

Max ran into. .

"Ari." She stood her ground, "Why. Can't. You. Leave us. Alone?"

". . My father treats YOU like you're everything. You. Some kids he did science on. But NO consideration for ME. His own SON!" He sharpened his claws, "And now. . I'm going to show him. . How worthless you ARE!" He charged. .

Only to be shot. . by three men.

As Ari fell to the ground. . Max saw the three men.

A young average man with a short beard in combat uniform(Mason)

A rough angry looking with a similar outfit to the man next to him(woods)

An older gentleman with a shaved head and face with glasses in full tactical gear stood on the other side of the men(Hudson)

Max asked, "Who. . are you guys?"

Hudson said, "Question is. . who are you?"

"And why the fuck do you have wings? Angels. . Real or some shit?" Woods asked

(Spoiler: in this story they are but she's not one of them)

Max asked, "Even if they are. . I ain't one of them. . My name is Max. . . And my family and I are just. . trying to find a place to call home."

Mason said,"well kiddo,let's get you a home."

Woods asked, "Where's this family of yours?"

Max led them to the meeting spot her and the Flock agreed upon.

They talked about a dog angel had found. . .

They ended up keeping the dog.

Hudson whispered to Mason, "Call the president again. .. . He's gonna wanna see this."

Mason said,"Sure,but If you try anything Hudson,remember that you're gonna have to deal with the two of us."

Hudson said, "If I do something that gets these kids hurt? Kill me."

Woods said, "Don't tempt me."

They got the kids loaded into a chinook where they got to rest as they traveled to meet up with the president.

As they did that. .

Makarov's chopper landed. . Not where it was supposed to.

He was greeted by a woman. . With long blonde hair and wearing. . Scientist clothes (I'll describe her wardrobe properly later)

She asked, "Vladimir Makarov?"

"Da."

She reached out her hand, "Doctor Marian Janessen. Director of the itex corporation. . I brought you here. . To discuss something."

"My time is limited, Doctor. If I am to make mother Russia dominate the West, I can not waste it talking with American corporations."

She said, "You misunderstand. . We're not your average corporation."

She led him to where. . Another ship was.

She said, "These. . Are Decepticons."

Starscream said, "Humans. . I am starscream of the Deceptions."

Makarov asked, "I take it you are also here to ask for help. . I have no need for alliances. I only need my fellow Russians."

Starscream laughed,"of course you do,not acknowledging the fact that standing before you is a far superior race,one that can squash you like the tiny insect you are."

Makarov said, "You sound just like the Americans. Arrogant. Self absorbed. . But unlike them, your voice suggests a level of cowardice.. . Any of these things would be your end."

Marian said, "Your Master is the one who sent a message into space, just as his rival did." As she looked at starscream, "and if you are so Superior to him. . How come he is leader. .and you're not?"

Starscream growled.

Marian said, "Mister Makarov. . . The technology they have at their disposal is amazing. Their technology, our human animal crossbreeds. . And your proud Russians. . Could make our world so much better."

Makarov said, "I act only in the interest of mother Russia. Her power must be secured."

Starscream showed a bit of the technology of Cybertron. . Namely? The weapons.

He smirked, "Now tell me. . Vladimir. . . What do you think these will do. . For Mother Russia?"

Makarov said,"I will admit,these will ensure victory for Russia."

Marian showed her science. .

Makarov said, "Almost like Stalin's great dream."

She shrugged, "well we haven't done much with gorillas yet but we have with pretty much every other animal on Earth."

Starscream said, "As much as I talk trash about you organics. . I can easily say your science is. . mildly amusing."

Marian said, "So. . working with the ultra-nationalists. . And with us. . . We could conquer this whole planet."

Makarov thought about it. . "So long as Russia is at the top when this war is over. . . We have a deal."

Starscream. . Finally had news to deliver to Megatron.

Back with our heroes.

The six kids woke up in. . an admittedly nice room.

Hudson came in, "Freshen up. We meet the president in two hours."

Gazzy asked,"who?"he rubbed his eyes.

Hudson asked, "You kids are so secluded from the world. . . You don't know who the president of the United States is?"

Max said, "We do. . . He's just tired."

Hudson sighed, "Okay. Breakfast is on the table whenever you want it. Shower, shave if you have to, get dressed. . Do whatever you need to do to get yourselves ready."

They immediately rushed to the table and started devouring it.

Hudson said, "Holy shit. . Okay. I'll keep in mind you guys need a lot of calories."

Max said,"yeah….we eat a lot,"she kept eating.

Woods muttered,"maybe we should bring in thirds for them?"

Mason said, "Let's not do anything TOO rash."

Hudson said, "Agreed. Especially since it would mean cleaning staff would have to put in some overtime."

When the kids were done they did everything else they were instructed.

Mason looked at the kids,"remember best behavior."

They even got new outfits. Namely the boys got suits that were tailored to their sizes and the girls got pretty dresses.

The president and his entourage came in.

Max said showing nervousness through her smile, "Mister president. . Great honor."

The president said with a confident smile on his face, "Honor is all mine." He shook her hand, "Nice to meet some triple Ms ."

Fang asked, "Triple Ms?" S

"Man made mutants. . Mutants that are created by humans. . Don't know who made you. . But you can move on from that."

Iggy asked,"uh….sir….i mean no offense but…..why don't you just call us people? We're no different from you."

The president chuckled, "Sorry son. That's just what those CIA folks like Mister Hudson have designated you as. I know that. . aside from the wings. . . And the bizarre incredible super powers. . You're the same as normal people."

Max asked, "But. . you wanted to meet us in particular?"

"Because you're not the first ones we've found. . but you are the first ones with human mental capacity. . And we're proud to have you here."

Fang said,"thank you sir but I have a feeling you didn't just want to see us,you must have other reasons?"

". .. whether you be humans with animal features or animals with human DNA. . " He had the reporters shown out.

"I know itex is dirty. . And if I'm gonna prove that. . Get every American who's been through the hell that you have the same rights as any other. . I need help."

Hudson said, "and given the fact that he also has to meet those aliens to discuss whether or not we join their War. . We could use help keeping things orderly here on Earth."

The president sighed,"never a dull day in the office."

Hudson asked,"shall I start up the investigation team for itex sir?"

"Yes. . But don't neglect your other duties." He looked at Mason and woods, "Especially knowing Makarov is still out there."

"All due respect Mister president. . He's Price's problem now." Woods said

The president looked at him,"you do have a point,but he's still a danger to us all,he needs to be taken out."

Mason said, "I've known Captain Price a while. . If anyone can kill Makarov. .it's him."

The president said, "I'll put General Shepherd in charge of the Makarov case. For now. . I got a lot of shit I need to deal with." He looked at Max, "You? Just keep protecting your siblings and. . . Hopefully one day. . You can find a proper home."

She smiled,"thank you sir."then shook his hand.

He left. .

Max asked, "So. . Who is Makarov?"

"Terrorist. Not your problem." Hudson said.

And as they moved on with their day…

The Decepticons attacked DC. . With aid from the ultranationalists.

The Air Force was quick to react with fighter jets while the rest of the US military was gearing up.

And thankfully. . Both Autobots and Mutants helped ouf.

Starscream looked out,"what?! The autobots are here already?!"he growled,"FINE! He changed into his jet and started attacking.

Ironhide spotted him, "There's that yellow plated coward." He changed his hand into a blaster and aimed. . Firing on starscream's thrusters

Meanwhile. . The Flock flew into the sky and ripped enemy pilots out from their planes.

Often descending to kick some ass on the ground.

Max kicked one of Makarov's men in the back of the head and grabbed another by his shoulders. Lifting him in the air and tossing him away

Fang punched one in a few different places. His final punch knocked him down.

Iggy and Gazzy threw some homemade bombs. . With incredible effect.

Nudge used her control over magnetism to smash some Decepticons into each other.

Angel used her mind control powers to make the ultranationalists fight each other. . Overriding any commands from Makarov.

The US military was kicking ass. Both human and Decepticon. Especially with help from Autobot soldiers.

Ironhide eventually managed to grab a hold of starscream. . And rode him.

"GET OFF!" Starscream shouted.

Ironhide steered him while grabbing onto his wings

"Not on this world, screamer!"

Once they were close to the ground. . Ironhide jumped off and landed. .

Starscream crashed into an open crater. Wounded but not dead.

Within hours. .

The enemy attempted to retreat. . Only their leadership managed to.

The President approached Ironhide.

"Get a hold of this Optimus. . And tell him he has the full support of the United States."

Max said, determines look on her face, "And. . Any man made mutants on this earth."

The president was confused,"I thought you didn't like that term?"

She smiled, "If we're going to join , we're going to need a faction name."

He smiled back, "Okay then."

It took only hours for various mutants to actually come out of the woodwork and show support. .

As well as also the Nations that were allies of the United States joined the war effort. .

Autobots now had most of Earth on their side.

While the Decepticons. . Had few human allies. . But enough to make a difference on Earth.

Now . . A whole new chapter added to the war.
