Snow. Ice. Two very dangerous elements. Why did I decide to climb this treacherous mountain? To find the supposed monster that lives up here. I need to protect my people from it; though, this may have been a mistake. Even my flames aren't enough for me to survive. I slowly lose my ability to move as my vision blurs. The last thing I see is a pair of boots walking up to me.
I wake up on a couch. I look around and see that I am in some sort of a log cabin. Someone walks into the room. It's an ice blue wolf. Her fur looks incredibly soft. She wears a pair of boots and a purple winter coat without sleeves. I can't make out her face, as she wears a mask. She holds a mug in her hand.
"Oh, good. You're awake."
She hands the mug to me.
"Drink this. It should warm you up."
I cautiously take the mug from her hand. It has hot chocolate in it, with a few marshmallows. What if it's poisoned? I just stare at the mug. The wolf leaves the room. She comes back with a mug of her own and sits down next to me on the couch. She takes sips from her own drink. Realizing it would be rude not to, I take a sip of my drink.
"Thank you."
The wolf gives me a light smile.
"You're welcome."
We sat on the couch, taking sips of our drinks, for quite a while. It was peaceful. I finished my drink and set the mug on the coffee table. I yawned as I fell asleep.
