Thinking About The Destiny And Special

Later that day, Spike was at Twilight Sparkle's home in Canterlot. He was thinking on what the Pegasus pony, Hornet Advancing had told him earlier that day. "Well," he thought, "I guess, no, it is my choice. He's right about one thing. It is my choice and I must follow my own path."

Spike thought about another thing, too. "But as a dragon," he went on, "I am loyal to Twilight Sparkle. After all, she released me from my egg and I had no idea where the lava I came from. And Twilight Sparkle has been taking care of me ever since."

He then sat down on a chair. "Maybe I'll give it some more time," Spike went on, "Who knows what would have happened if I went off in the wrong direction."

And Spike thought about it no more for that moment.

Later that day, Twilight Sparkle returned home. "Spike," she called out, "I know it." "Ok, Twilight," Spike replied and the little dragon appeared right in front of his unicorn friend. "I'm right here," Spike replied happily.

"Ok," Twilight Sparkle replied, "Therefore, I got some special treats for you." And she used her unicorn magic to hold out a set of sapphires right in front of Spike. This made Spike really happy and immediately hungry.

"I had to go past an angry beaver just to get them," Twilight Sparkle explained, "I don't know what it was doing with them, but who cares?" Immediately, the sapphire-hungry dragon gobbled down the sapphires like there was no next minute.

"Thank you, Twilight!" Spike called out. "Ok," said Twilight Sparkle, "That was unique and typical." "If you say so, Twilight," Spike replied, "Thank you."

"No problem," said Twilight Sparkle, "I thought you deserved them." "Thanks," said Spike, now with a fully belly. "We'll think about that later," Twilight Sparkle said to herself. And so, the two settle down for the night.
