Something In The Air

Several days later, on a cloudy day, Spike was home all by himself while Twilight Sparkle was on one of her important studies. "Well it is inside an important building," Spike explained, "That is, well, important. Yeah, I knew that. Ok then."

Right now, Spike is just minding his own business while sorting out some book for Twilight Sparkle. Things were going along just fine for spike. That was until something caught his attention. "What's that?" Spike asked to himself, looking out a window, "Something else. And I know it's cloudy out now."

He decided to stop what he's doing, go outside and explore. At first, he thought what he saw was a bird, but it didn't look like any kind of birds that he'd seen before. "So what's going on?" Spike wondered, "I mean what was that? Asides from the clouds. Not on the schedule today. Guess the pegasi had forgotten to do something about them today. Oh well."

It is true that it was supposed to be sunny outside today. And the Pegasus ponies had forgotten to do something about the gray clouds hanging over Canterlot. Then something flew by Spike again. "What IS going on?" Spike wondered, "I mean what are they?" He knew what he'd seen wasn't a bird.

Spike decided to get a closer look, but that nearly impossible. So Spike climbed up a nearby tree to get a better look. "All right," Spike said, "What do we have here? I mean there? Wherever?" Spike managed to get a better view and he finally saw the strange flying things.

"Are they ghosts?" Spike asked himself, "They may be ghost. And they may look like ghost, but they're not so scary at all. Ok, they're not ghosts." Turns out that Spike is now witnessing strange, transparent beings flying through the skies above Canterlot. Right now, there were about 50 of them.

No pony knows what they are. But they are mystical. What's more is that when they flew by, the clouds had mysteriously disappeared. "Wow," Spike said in amazement, "That was strange. Is strange! What are they?"

After the mysterious beings flew past, Spike stared out for a while. He was amazed. After a while, he decided to climb down the tree, only to get down to the ground faster when the tree branch snapped and fell to the ground.

Fortunately, Spike wasn't hurt. He managed to get back up and head on back home before Twilight Sparkle returned. When spike got back home, he resumed his book organization activity.

Later that day, Twilight Sparkle finally returned from her important studies. When she returned, she was surprised to see Spike sleeping happily. "So, Spike," Twilight Sparkle said, "What have you been doing while I was gone all day?"

"Well," Spike began, "Let's just say I didn't have an adventure." "What?" Twilight Sparkle replied, confused. "That's the point," Spike said. "Confusing?" Twilight sparkle asked. "Yes," Spike answered. "Wait," Twilight Sparkle said, "Did you hurt yourself?"

"What makes you say that?" Spike asked, innocently. It was a unique day for Spike. But there will be more for both Spike and Twilight Sparkle in the near future. "Well," Spike said, "It's not going to be ghostly."

However, the Pegasus ponies were in for a surprise. And confusion.
