This is a total reimagining of 2018's "Darling in the FranXX".

But it comes to the point that: Whether you know or don't know the original Darling in the FranXX, it doesn't matter: Everyone is welcome.

That's the best way I can put it. Much of the lore is inspired by the original, such as the characters and the titular FranXXs. But everything else from here is reshaped into my own personal touches.

This is something I'd call, a "mentally tactile and visceral" interpretation of the story. If you expect something based on the original? Well, I'd frankly apologize that this isn't the one.

I've been wanting to do some original stories lately, although if I had to admit, I don't feel close to it yet. But this story shows that it (as I believe) would be about "90%" original. This one is as much a passion project as it is to all my other few works.
