When Ravage and Thailog both came out of stone sleep, they found Demona sitting in the kitchen, having made them their evening breakfast, smiling serenely at Ravage, who sat down, wondering what his next assignment would be, hoping to kill more humans.

Thailog soon explained what Ravage would do. "My cherry, you've been working so hard for me. And for bringing me back the blood of humans on your hands, bet you wouldn't mind a lighter job like patrolling Central Park?" He asked in his gentle, but sinister voice.

Ravage gulped while eating his eggs, his eyes brightening at the thought of being able to see what Central Park looked like. He nodded eagerly. "Yeah, that would be great, Father. And you know I would do anything."

The dark clone chuckled softly. "Yes, I do. And you've been very obedient. Which is what I like from my son." He replied, ruffling Ravage's hair who smiled in shyness. But then he had another question. "Where's Angel, my mom? She doesn't seem to be anywhere."

Thailog thought for a time then knew that Demona had gone out to ensure that Goliath and the others wouldn't even find him. "She has just gone out for patrol. Nothing too serious, little cherry. But now, you should probably get going."

Ravage's eyes clouded as his head lowered in obedience. "Ok, Father. I'll see you later tonight before dawn." He went to the window, raising his wings and taking off into the night.

What Thailog had been doing to warp his brain was so far working immensely. Sevarius noticed this too. He grinned sadistically to his creation. "Oh, this has been so much fun. And the stupid little gargoyle doesn't even know he is being twisted. But… do you have any kind of plan in case his memory somehow comes back?"

It caused Thailog to grin back. "For sure. I even have an idea should the clan get him back. Let me tell you what it is…" He leaned in to whisper the plan to Sevarius.

….

Back at the clock tower, Lexington himself had been going through even more deep depression without his brother, not even wanting to play his video games or even eat.

Goliath decided Lexington deserved some fresh air since his sorrow had been getting to the others as well, pulling him to the side. "Lexington, perhaps you and Bronx should go on a patrol by yourselves. We really are doing our best to find Brooklyn. And you maybe could get some fresh air in the meantime."

Lexington flinched from when Goliath mentioned Brook's name, looking at him with tired eyes before soon nodding. "Uh, sure. Suppose it will be good…" He thought inside too he could keep his own eyes out for Brooklyn as well. The green gargoyle walked slowly over to Bronx, calling him over to venture outside, having Broadway carry Bronx for him.

The two brothers soared to Central Park while Brooklyn himself was crawling above the trees, sometimes taking out humans and hiding them in the bushes, wanting to practice his killing skills.

Lex did his best to enjoy himself, but also watching warily about for any trouble.

Ravage eventually hopped down from the trees, quickly going into the bushes when hearing some footsteps close by and smelling what was like gargoyles. His eyes widened in fright at the thought of his old clan close by until Bronx as well began to smell Brook's familiar scent.

Lexington saw how Bronx was sniffing. "What is it, boy?" Lexington asked in worry, noticing some rustling in the brush.

His eyes glowed, readying himself for danger that could come out of them, until Ravage charged out, roaring, tackling Bronx then throwing him against the tree in his fear. Bronx whined but wasn't hurt, tilting his head at who had attacked him.

Lex stared in disbelief, seeing what looked like his long-lost rookery brother there, eyes full of fear from the sight of Bronx. "Stay away from me, c-creature!" He heard Brooklyn gasp out in between growls, eyes bright and white.

The green gargoyle held out his hand. "Wait! Brooklyn? Is… that you?"

Hearing that voice caused Ravage's ears to twitch, somewhat from old memories resurfacing but then Thailog's brainwashing erased it, baring his fangs, crouched on all fours. He figured now that this was one of his old 'family' members. "You! You were the ones who kidnapped me!" He bellowed.

A hot, cold feeling sank into Lexington's stomach when hearing that, confusion making his brain swirl. "What? Brooklyn, don't you remember me? It's Lex! We've been looking everywhere for you!" He begged, backing away slowly while Brooklyn closed in on him, his face too feral to be recognizable.

Bronx woofed viciously, standing in front of Ravage who reacted fast, face changing to fright since in his amnesia state he had never seen a gar beast, swishing his talons.

"Bronx, wait, I'll be ok." Lexington pushed Bronx aside and tried to calm down the crazed red male who was breathing raspily, eyes still wild unlike anything Lex had seen. What did those armored men do to his brother? Lexington had a careful hand reach towards Brooklyn. "Whatever happened out there, bro, your family can help you. Just come with me. We'll—agh!"

He gasped out when Brooklyn viciously snatched his arm, lifting him into the air. Ravage bared his fangs, looking villainous. "Keep the hell away from me, and tell Goliath, I am Ravage now, not that stupid name you all gave me, get it?!" Before Lexington could say anything more, Ravage tossed his enemy at a tree, then grabbed Bronx and did that with him too.

His body shook from the stress and anger, eager to get back home, watching the unconscious form of the small gargoyle for a bit then running off, climbing a tree and gliding away back into the city, his heart beating a million miles an hour.

After a few moments, Lexington eventually came to, groaning and rubbing his head. "Uh, my head…" He grunted, looking to see Bronx there with a couple scratches on his side, unconscious. Lex gasped, weakly walking over to the gar beast, rubbing his head to wake him. "Bronx, boy, are you alright?"

While Bronx woke up, woofing weakly, Lexington's head was buzzing with a thousand questions. Why was Brooklyn attacking them and looking so angry, calling himself Ravage? That wasn't his name! Sorrow flowed inside his chest, now wondering if Brooklyn had somehow hit his head really hard and forgotten who he was.

Whatever the case was, Lex knew he and his clan had to bring Brooklyn back home and cure him of the memory loss, signaling to Broadway to come pick them all up. Broadway arrived at the park, seeing how beat up his brother looked and Bronx.

"Whoa, what on Earth happened, bro?" He asked in shock, a bruise on Lexington's side from when Ravage tossed him to the wall. The look in his little brother's eyes was pretty sorrowful and scared. "Brooklyn." Lex responded softly, before soon feeling himself passing out from all the events that happened.

Broadway's ears fell from that, finding it hard to believe it was Brooklyn. He took both Lexington and Bronx into his strong arms, climbing a rock and taking off, praying they would find Brooklyn and rescue him.

….

Ravage's wings were feeling shaky, struggling to make his way back to Gen U Tech, still scared of how he encountered the family who kidnapped him in the first place, wondering what Thailog would say about that. Landing on the windowsill, he found Thailog there, shaking all over before soon collapsing on the floor.

Thailog, startled, ran down to his pet, lifting him up carefully. "Now, what happened?" He asked gently.

Ravage winced from the harshness even though the voice was gentle. Shaking, Ravage managed to get himself to speak. "I-I encountered… another gargoyle. Two." He revealed.

"Gargoyles, my cherry? And did they recognize you?" Thailog murmured, stroking Ravage's face in a hypnotic manner, making Ravage moan from the touches. "Yeah… they kept calling me Brooklyn. Was that… the name they tried weakening me with?"

For a moment, Thailog wracked his brain for a lie then grinned, remembering what he claimed from before. "Yes, but that name was much too feminine for you. Because of your lean body structure, Goliath declared you the runt after your kidnapping and entire clan being sent to this time, giving you the most feminine name. But you like Ravage more, don't you?"

Ravage's heart fluttered, his father's voice so soothing, his head nodding. "Uh-uh. It makes… me feel stronger. I don't want them to find me here, Father. They might try to abuse me again."

More flapping of wings came soon, the duo glancing at the sight of Demona's return. She had some food bags in her hands since Sevarius had her go out to restock his fridge along with ensuring Goliath never found any leads to where Brooklyn would be. She noticed her 'son' all frazzled, raising her brow at Thailog.

"Our little one ran into trouble, with his old abusers. He just managed to make it out of there alive. You were lucky it wasn't that Goliath who saw you." Thailog informed Demona, next glancing down at Ravage, who swallowed at the idea of facing that larger gargoyle.

Demona gave a fake sympathetic smile, welcoming Ravage into her arm and wing hug who was still shaking all over. "It is alright, sweetie. You're home, safe with us. But never let them see you again." She said firmly, taking Ravage's beak somewhat harshly but not to hurt him.

Ravage nodded, licking his lips, hoping he could make up for his new mistake. Thailog then thought of a reward for his little prize. "If you keep up avoiding your old family Ravage, I have a little reward for you. Once you liberate something from my old rival called David Xanatos. I encountered him when entering this time, who threatened to do away with me if I didn't follow his orders. Now it is payback. Could you do this for me, little cherry?"

His head began to grow dizzy again, Ravage bowing. "I… will… as long as it keeps me from seeing those…" Tears came down his face as fake memories of his old life came up again, Thailog rubbing his back while Demona kept hugging him. Thailog knew that a branding on his pet would seal the ownership of this red one for himself, that not even stone sleep could remove.
