This is a story about my OC and how things would've played out if he was involved in the story.
this is gonna be a more mature story so be warned for *Graphic fights, Dark themes, and others ;)*

Hell's Kitchen, New York City, Year 2021
A cell Phone alarm began blaring at 4'o clock in the morning in a beaten down apartment in Hell's Kitchen, one of New York's worst neighborhoods.
A young man at the age of eighteen suddenly opened his eyes and leaned over to his bedside table where he kept his phone and charger.
He grabbed the loud blaring device and hit the dismiss button before pulling his cheap blanket away and sitting up on the side of his bed.
He rubbed his face to get the sleep out of his eyes before he stood up showing he was shirtless while wearing a pair of black and red checkered Pajama bottoms.
The young man began to stretch showing he had developed some muscle but not to a noticeable degree.
Once he finished stretching, he started to make his body fall forward before he quickly caught himself on the ground in the Push-up position and started to count out his reps.
"One...two...three..."
This Teenager who was exercising so early in the morning was Garett Green. He was like most average teenagers with a few exceptions.
The first thing was he lived alone in one of New York's cities worse areas, second he worked a part-time job and was going to school just so he could afford rent and whatever small necessities he may need, and Third, he was technically an orphan since his mother had died two years ago from an unknown illness while he honestly had no Idea who his father was.
Garett paused in exercises as the thought of his father came to his mind and he suddenly grit his teeth angrily and began working out even harder determined to get stronger.
You see, there is one other thing that separates Garrett from other teenagers, and it is a very sad and tragic truth, Garrett Green was a rape baby.
His mother had told him when he was old enough to understand that his father had approached her on her way home one night and well the rest is history.
Despite everything, however, his mother still loved him unconditionally and made sure he grew up into a caring person and made sure he could take care of himself.
His mother was probably the smartest person he knew, and he wasn't exaggerating because it was his mom. She would tutor him in many different subjects with some that he didn't know even existed, so he made it a personal mission to do well in school.
His mother also knew how to defend herself and she made sure Garrett could also, teaching him various fighting skills to protect himself should the need arise.
Garrett Broke from his thoughts as he looked at his Phone's clock the time reading 5:30 AM.
He quickly finished up the sit-ups he was doing counting down his last reps, "Ninety-eight...Ninety-nine...One Hundred." He took a breath before heading to his bathroom, the floor of his beat down apartment creaking with his steps.
He turned on the bathroom light squinting at the sudden brightness before getting a good look at himself in the mirror.
He noticed he had grown a lot since his mother passed, his height being at an even 6 foot, he wasn't ripped but he didn't have any excess fat, His short brown hair was all scraggly right now instead of his usual Fringe up style, he saw his mother's green eyes looking back at him, and a somewhat rugged but still young face stared at him as well.
He went over to his shower and made a slightly disgusted face seeing the rust and other unmentionables around his tub.
He powered through it though and turned on the water before beginning to take his usual cold shower since his building didn't have Hot-water heaters.
He got dressed and started to make himself breakfast. It was simple, just some eggs, sausage, and toast. He finished up before getting dressed in his usual outfit, A pair of brown cargo pants, with a grey button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a pair of Red Rush branded sneakers.
He brushed his teeth, grabbed his phone, keys, and other essentials before walking out of his apartment, locking it and headed to his bus stop for school.

Garrett walked down the streets of Hell's Kitchen listening to the daily sounds of gunfire and angry shouts.
Now, Garrett was a supporter of the heroes in their world like The Guardians of the Globe and Omni-Man, but he still couldn't help but feel a little bitter of their little involvement in his neighborhood. Granted occasionally some freelance hero would show up to take care of a drug lord or some such but it never really fixed any long-lasting problems.
Either way Garrett was happy there were individuals out there at least trying to do the right thing.
Garrett noticed he made it to his stop and checked his phone the time saying 6:50 AM.
He sat down on the bus bench since he had ten minutes until it showed so he began scrolling through Instagram to check on the latest Hero news.
He saw a few posts about How the Mauler Twins, a pair a large hulking blue skinned identical men had attacked the White House but were stopped by the Guardians of the Globe with the help of Omni-Man.
Garrett looked at a couple photos of Omni-Man Saving some soldiers and the Guardian Hero Darkwing. The Dark themed Hero in his iconic winged cape and Midnight colored armor could be seen pinned under a tank before another photo showed Omni-Man lifting the Tank as if it was light as a feather.
Garrett had always been a fan of Omni-Man but for some reason his mother never liked that he was.
Garrett admired that Omni-Man would go to great lengths to defeat any foe he came across no matter what it took. He also admired that Omni-Man was so confident in his strength that he didn't bother wearing a mask and proudly wore his symbol in every fight. The Iconic Red cape and Giant red O on his chest have been the nightmare of many a villain not to mention he had the most awesome Mustache.
Garrett was broken from his thoughts again as the bus showed up before getting on and scanning his bus pass.
Thirty minutes later Garrett Got off the bus and began walking around the corner to his Highschool, Reginald Vel Johnson High.
As he was walking, he smiled and waved at one of his best friends he met in his freshman year.
Mark Grayson Waved back at him, he was a year younger than Garrett at seventeen, but Marks birthday was in a few months if he remembered right, he was about Garrett's height and he had his black hair combed back, he wore his usual outfit of a half-untucked under-shirt, a blue sweater, tan jeans, and sneakers.
One they were close enough Garrett clasped Mark's hand saying "Hey, Mark. What's up this morning?"
Mark Grabbed Garrett's hand before they bumped shoulders and separated while replying "Nothing much, just my folks grossing me out."
Garrett let out a chuckle before the two started heading into the school to grab the books needed for class from their lockers. Since they had about 20 minutes till the first bell, they had time to chat.
As the two approached their lockers which were luckily a few feet apart from one another, Garrett spoke up saying, "Did hear about the Mauler Twins attacking the White house?"
Mark Opened his locker saying, "Yeah, luckily no one got hurt."
Garrett responded saying "Yeah, I saw Omni-Man saved Darkwing from getting crushed in a post."
Mark was gonna say something else before Garrett's and Mark's friend William showed Up excitedly holding up his phone and shouting at them "Did you guy's see what happened at the White House this morning!"
William was the same age as Mark, only he was a couple feet shorter than the other two were, he had dirty blond hair in a Quiff hairstyle, he wore his usual attire that consisted of a red and pink t-shirt, skinny blue jeans and vans sneakers.
As Mark and Garrett finished getting their books William spoke to them saying, "I can't believe the Guardians let the Mauler Twins get that close to the President."
Mark spoke up in defense of his father not that the other two knew that saying "they didn't even get inside and Omni-Man was there."
Garrett agreed with Mark saying "Yeah."
William groaned annoyingly saying, you guys are such Omni-Maniacs, always routing for the underdog. Do you guys like the Yankee's too?"
William then gained a thoughtful look saying, "Although, I guess Omni-Man does have a rocking bod and that Mustache."
William smirked at the two causing Mark to groan and go "Dude!?"
William placed his hands up in a placating manner saying "Sorry, back to straight stuff."
Garrett didn't mind at all that William was openly gay, his belief was love was love and no one had the right to tell you who you can and cannot have feelings for.
However, the three friends suddenly heard a commotion down the hall and turned to look.
One of the school's well-known bullies named Todd was harassing a girl who the three recognized as Amber Bennett. She was an African American girl, her black hair was resting at her shoulders with a small ponytail pointing straight up, she wore a simple outfit being a red t-shirt, light blue jacket over the shirt, white capri jeans, and van sneakers.
Todd apparently had heard from somewhere that Amber had a crush on him and was now trying to basically get into her pants.
Todd gave Amber a perverted grin saying "Come on, Amber. I know you like me."
Amber looked at Todd disgusted while saying "well, you are strong."
Todd smirked saying, "You know it."
Amber quickly dashed his ego by shouting, "So, you think that's ok for you to harass me!?" Amber let out a disgusted sound before saying, "Now get out of my way. I gotta get to class."
Todd growled Angrily before grabbing Amber's arm forcefully and yanking her towards him saying, "Don't walk away from me! What? You a Lesbian or something?"
As the argument progressed Mark couldn't take what was happening and said, "I got to stop this."
William was about to tell Mark no, but Garrett placed a hand a Mark's shoulder saying, "Go ahead, I got you."
Mark nodded at Garrett before he gained a determined look and marched towards Todd while Garrett stayed a few steps back in case Mark couldn't handle the bully.
Back with Amber she shouted at Todd Saying "ugh, I wish I was! Now let me go so I can find a girl to kiss!"
Amber yanked her arm, but Todd wasn't letting go. However, Mark's voice suddenly interrupted them saying "Hey, Todd. I think Amber has made it clear how she feels."
Todd growled at Mark before letting Amber go and stomping over to him saying "Seriously? You want some of this Grayson?"
Mark was about to square up as he said, "Bri-" but he was cut off since Todd sucker punched him across the face before uppercutting him in the stomach.
Mark Let out a grunt of Pain and fell to his knees while was Amber shocked anyone would take a punch for her, and was about to retaliate in Mark's favor but was beaten to it by Mark's friend Garrett.
Garrett was on Todd as if he was the hero Red Rush, He quickly punched Todd across the face before hitting him in the chin with his elbow, next he hooked his arm around the back of Todd's head and started kneeing him in the stomach repeatedly.
Garret then threw Todd on the ground with angry look saying, "How does it feel fighting someone who fights back, bitch."
The whole hallway erupted in laughter at how Garrett humiliated Todd while said bully got up and ran away holding his stomach and shouting "What are you assholes laughing at!"
Suddenly the bell rang causing everyone to start to clear the hallway. As Garrett and William helped Mark up and grab his things William asked, "Hey, you guy's down for 'Warrior Clash' tonight. I'm hoping for a level forty armor grab."
Garrett replied with, "Two things. One, I can only play when I'm at Mark's house and even then, that's rare. Two, I have work tonight."
William groaned as the three began making their way to homeroom while saying "Seriously I understand why you need to work but Mark's dad is an author he shouldn't have to worry about a job for a while."
Mark glared at William slightly saying "Hey, my dad only makes enough so we're comfortable and I have the job so I can keep my 'Science Dog' subscription at the comic store. Don't you realize how much comics cost these days?"
William sighed at Mark saying sarcastically, "How am I ever gonna get you a girlfriend if you keep saying nerdy stuff like that." William then let out a laugh showing he was kidding.
The other two laughed as well before entering their class and starting the school day.

BurgerMart: 9:30 PM
Mark and Garrett were working their shifts at the Local fast-food joint and getting ready to close the restaurant. Garrett was mopping up the floor and tables while Mark went outside to take out the day's collected garbage.
Once Garrett finished Mopping The manager Mr. Sayer Approached him with a huge smile saying "Great Job today, Green. As usual." Mr. Sayer pulled out an envelope and handed it to Garrett saying "Here's your Pay. It's in cash like you requested." Mr. Sayer leaned in close saying "I put in a little extra for all the extra shifts you picked up." Garrett smiled saying "Thank you, sir. That helps more than you think."
Mr. Sayer just slapped his back saying "Of course! You're my best worker, your never late, you do your job plus other things you don't have to, and even pick extra shifts when I need it."
Garrett smiled again saying "Thanks again, Mr. Sayer" The manager just waved him off like it wasn't a big deal before Mr. Sayer walked over to Mark since he had just come back in and handed him his pay as well.
A little while later Mark and Garrett could be seen walking down the street together with Mark having a shit eating grin on his face.
Garrett looked at his friend curiously saying, "What's got you so happy?"
Mark suddenly schooled his features saying, "Nothing big, just found out that 'Science Dog' has a Movie coming out."
Garrett didn't think that was that exciting but then again, he wasn't as much of a fan of 'Science Dog' as Mark was.
They came across the fork in the road that led to their respected homes. The two grasped hands and bumped shoulders, each saying goodbye before they went their separate ways.
It didn't take Garrett Long to reach his neighborhood from his work and was almost home before sadly he ran into trouble.
Four men dressed like gang members circled him before one man to his right pulled out a knife a growled out "Empty your pockets! Now!"
Garret just frowned and squared up to fight, this type of occurrence wasn't anything new to him and if he took care of the knife first, he was confident he could take them down.
But he was suddenly worried when he saw the guy to his left pull out a .32 revolver with the hammer cocked saying "uh uh uh. We know about you; other guys around here have said you're known to put up fights. So, unless you want lead for dinner, Empty. You're. Pockets."
Garrett was very nervous, he was a good fighter, but he knew he couldn't out move a bullet. So, Garrett did something he never thought he would do, He begged. he placed his hands up in surrender while saying, "Please, guys. If you do this, I'll be Homeless in week. Can't you just settle for someone else tonight?" Garret hated himself for even having to say that, but he wasn't a hero.
The thug just grinned evilly before saying "Sorry not sorry pal, should've gone a different route."
The thug began digging through Garret's stuff before his hand grasped his paycheck, he had stuffed in his breast pocket. Garrett, despite knowing about the gun, couldn't just let this thug take everything he had to live on.
So, Garrett quickly grabbed the thugs hand saying "NO!" However, Garrett and the Thug were shocked When instead of grabbing the thug's hand, Garrett had completely crushed it, the man's bones sticking out while his hand just looked like paste.
Garrett let go still shocked before the man Screamed "AHHHHHHHH MY FUCKING HAND! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAND!" The thug roared angrily at Garrett and took aim with his gun.
Garrett shouted "Wait! I didn't Mean T-"
But the thug opened fire with only three rounds discharging before the gun clicked empty.
However instead of Garrett feeling intense pain he was shocked to see the three bullets clink against the ground, the front ends completely smooshed.
Garrett After remaining shocked for few more seconds suddenly smirked at the thugs and ominously said "My Turn."
Garrett then simply pushed the thug who had shot him to the left sending him flying and smashing into an abandoned car, the car door and windows getting completely smashed in.
The thug with the Knife was just stupid and tried to stab Garrett but the blade broke off completely from the handle as soon as it touched Garrett and fell to the ground.
The thug could only say "What the Fu-" Before Garrett grabbed the side of his head and simply pushed him through the wall of building next to him.
The remaining two thought they would be smart if they attacked together and tried to punch Garrett at the same time.
Garrett just simply caught their fists and squeezed crushing their hands making them scream before he grabbed their heads and slammed them together with both men's faces getting crushed.
Garrett felt the adrenaline wear down and saw what he did before he dashed down the street in a panic trying to get home, but as he was running something weird happened. He was moving forward but he felt like his feet weren't touching the ground.
Garrett glanced down and saw he was floating in the air! Garrett shocked said questioningly "I have powers?" Garrett suddenly gained a wicked grin before he reeled his body back and shot up into sky while screaming in Joy "I have Powers!"
Garrett continued to fly around testing his new ability of flight. It took him a few minutes to figure out how to fly in the direction he wanted. So, when he got it down, he went to find somewhere secluded before he tried to land.
He started to will his body downwards feet first, but he started to panic as he picked up speed and despite himself trying to force his body to slow down, he ended up slamming into the secluded field he found making a huge crater.
Garrett was faced down in the dirt twitching in slight pain before he sat up showing he wasn't hurt at all. Garrett brushed himself off and stood up before saying to himself, "Ok, first order of business, learn how to land."
Garrett gained a determined look before squatting down and shooting into the sky again. Once he was at a satisfying height, he began to lower himself again but sadly he picked up speed quickly and made another crater.
Garrett just kept repeating this process until he got it, luckily, he was able to figure it out after only making five craters.
Garrett Shot up into the sky one more time before lowering himself this time being able to slow his descent till, he landed with both his feet on the ground making a small thud.
Garrett suddenly yawned before he looked at his phone and saw the time read 2:30 AM.
Garrett Yawned again before he looked around the area and quickly filled the craters the best he could before taking off into the sky with a much better understanding of flying and headed for his cruddy apartment.
He landed in the alley by his building so no one would see him before making his way to his apartment.
Once he was inside, he locked his door, took off his shirt and shoes, and fell into bed not bothering to set his alarm.

Garrett woke up late the next morning, now he normally wouldn't do this. As he mentioned before, he made it a personal mission to do well in school. In fact, Garrett had a 4.0 GPA with A's in all his subjects, even ones he had difficulty with at first.
That was another thing Garrett wondered from time to time, no matter what subject he studied, even one he didn't understand, after studying for a while he was able to understand said subject as if he had known it all along.
However, after the discovery of his powers last night his goals have made a slight alteration. So, Garrett was taking the day off to study his powers and find out what he could do. He had earned enough credits in school to be able to skip a couple days if he wanted to anyway. He grabbed his phone and called Mr. Sayer letting him know he couldn't work that day.
After the shocked rant from his boss, he was given the ok before he hung up. Garrett quickly got dressed in some work-out clothes, a pair of gym shorts, a tank top, and his sneakers. He ate a quick breakfast before leaving his apartment and finding a place outside to take off.
Once it was clear, he shot up into the sky and dashed forward flying at a fast speed. He looked around for somewhere he might be able to train where no one could see him.
Ironically, about a hundred miles outside the city was an abandoned train yard with many large but intact trains and a certain number of usable tracks.
Garrett smirked saying, "That'll work." Garrett landed in the middle of the train yard and glanced at everything before setting up his new training ground.
He first tested if he could lift the train cars and he could with effort. So, he set some train cars to use as a bench press, then he hooked two cars to a pair of huge and long chains to do arm lifts, and finally he set up a line of train cars on the usable track to push them back and forth.
Now, Garrett's reasoning for doing all this was simple. After figuring out flying the previous night he believed his powers were like any other muscle in his body. So, the more he used them and taxed them the better and stronger he would be at using them.
After his fight with the thugs, he figured he had at least four powers, Super strength, Super speed, Flying, and he was Durable. He wasn't sure if he had healing power yet until he could test it out and honestly, he wasn't too eager to try that theory out.
He started his workout by starting on his flying speed to warm up, he floated in the air so he was mid-level with the line of train cars he made and placed his hands against the starting car.
He then positioned himself so he was flying straight and started pushing against the trains increasing his speed as much as he could before the cars hit the barrier at the end of the tracks.
Garrett continued this for about an hour, constantly increasing his flying speed with each pass before he took a quick break.
Garret bent over and placed his hands on his knees as he took deeply controlled breaths, his face covered in sweat from the excursion.
However, despite the exhaustion he felt Garrett could feel that his flying speed had increased. So, he stood up and looked at his hands before he clenched them into fists saying to himself, "All right! Let's keep going!"
Next, he started his arm lifts, grasping the chains with the cars, he lifted each car one at a time by pulling the chains and after he pulled both chains, he counted his reps out. "One...Two...Three..."
After doing a hundred reps he knew he had increased his strength since by the end of his reps the cars had started to become lighter.
He finished his weightlifting by doing bench presses on the other Train cars and after a hundred reps of those he was shocked to see that the single train cars weight had almost completely vanished.
Garrett tossed the car upwards and moved away before it landed in a huge crash. Garrett looked at his hands again in wonder before shaking himself out of his stupor.
Garrett then took to the sky before pulling out his ear buds and putting one in his ear, next he pulled out his phone and opened his Tonify App and selected a song from one of his playlists. Suddenly The sound of the rap artist M&M started playing and the song 'Godzilla' was on blast.
As soon as the beat started Garrett took off through sky practicing maneuvers and how to accelerate and decelerate better. After training for another hour Garrett noticed, it was starting to get late. So, he made his way back towards his home but not before he made a quick stop at a thrift store he knew about.
Garret had made it to the store before they closed and was happy to find the items he needed.
He placed the items he grabbed on the counter, the clerk giving him a weird look. Garret just shrugged since the items were a little odd, A black long-sleeve shirt with red and white bolt designs, a pair of donated military pants, a pair of black fingerless gloves, a pair of steel toed boots, a black anime lower face mask, and a pair of red tinted aviator goggles.
Garrett paid for the items and left for home. Since he could fly now, getting home was now super easy for Garrett. Once he was home, he placed his items on his coffee table and went to the bathroom to shower.
He turned on the light and was shocked at what he saw in the mirror. Instead of an average frame Garrett now had muscles befitting a mid-weight boxer. Garrett couldn't help but flex his new muscles in awe before he shook the shock off and took a shower.
He decided he'd skip school one more day but couldn't afford to skip work. So, he took his phone and set his alarm for the morning so he could work out his powers more and try his hand at using them in an actual situation now that he had a better understanding of them.
He placed his phone on its charger, and he got into his nightclothes before going to bed.

Garrett did his work out the next morning and kept at it till the early afternoon before heading home and getting ready for what he had planned.
Downtown New York, Near the Docks
Garrett suddenly landed on the roof of a random building as he looked around for any signs of trouble. He was wearing the outfit he bought consisting of the shirt, pants, boots, mask, and goggles.
He luckily didn't have to wait long as a group of Humanoid creatures suddenly busted out of the sea and landed on the nearby docks.
The leader of the creatures was colored bright red with the head of an octopus but the body of a man while his followers looked like giant blue and white squids with human appendages.
The leader began Firing some gun wildly at random Dock workers, its ammunition being a combination of water and energy. The Dock workers sadly stood no chance as they were sliced into pieces from the creatures' bizarre weapons.
The leader began to cackle evilly and spoke in broken English saying "Conquer you all we shall! Can't fight us, you can't. Surrender!"
Garrett seeing enough, shot forward like a bullet and quickly punched the leader across the face while shouting "That's Enough!"
The leader fell to the ground dazed while Garrett quickly flew into the group of followers plowing through them. He quickly grabbed two and flew into the air before twirling around fast and tossing them back into the water with them skipping far away like stones.
The leader recovered and aimed his weapon at Garrett along with any of his followers who had recovered as he shouted "Stop Us You Won't! Die You Shall!" The whole lot opened fire upon Garret who just crossed his arms to block the barrage.
The squid people kept firing until their weapons overheated and there was a cloud of smoke surrounding Garrett. But suddenly the smoke cleared away with a flex of Garretts strength showing he was unharmed.
He then started plowing into the squid people again while grabbing them and throwing them in an empty container. He quickly punched out the leader by ramming into him full force knocking him into the container with the rest of his people. Garrett then quickly sealed them in the container and flew around while gathering their weapons before crushing them.
He grabbed the container full of squid people and twirled around a couple times in the air before tossing it far out into the ocean out of sight.
The remaining Dock workers started cheering at Garrett for saving them while he gave a simple salute and took off into the sky.
As he flew above ethe the city he couldn't help but flip in the air while shouting "That was great!" But his celebration was cut short when he heard a crash below him.
Garrett looked down and saw a man half covered in concrete go flying through a building and across the street followed by what looked like an amateur hero like himself wearing a red and yellow outfit.
Garrett figuring, he would help a fellow amateur dove down to see if the hero needed the help.
Mark Grayson in his put together outfit had just knocked out his first villain before he heard a familiar voice speak up from above him saying, "need any help?"
Mark looked up and saw Garrett in his own put together outfit and after hearing his friends voice despite the mask said questioningly, "Garrett?"
Garrett was surprised the hero knew him and suddenly got a closer look then saw the familiar head of black hair and young face since the hero's goggles had been broken in his fight.
Garrett couldn't help himself as he questioned his fellow hero saying, "Mark?"
Garrett suddenly landed in front of his friend before they pointed at each other and shouted at the same time "You have powers!"
Before they could question each other further a sudden gruff and mature voice spoke saying, "You two look ridiculous."
Garret and Mark looked up to their left and Garrett was shocked to see Omni-Man in the flesh. Omni-Man gave Garrett a quick glance before he turned around and said, "Follow me, you two."
Garrett and Mark knew better than to question the man and quickly followed.
Omni-Man took them to a tall building's roof where all three touched down. Omni-Man gave the two new hero's a stare before he focused on his son Saying, "You may have taken out the Bad Guy, but you caused far more damage than you should've."
Mark Just gained a determined look saying, "Hit me." Garrett and Omni-Man were shocked by the statement before Mark spoke again saying "Come on Dad Hit me! I'm ready this time, you've never hit me before, it scared me but I'm Strong!"
Omni-Man looked at his son in slight concern saying "Oh... Mark."
Mark then looked upset saying "I know you think I can't do this but it's everything I've ever wanted. Dad, I wanna do what you do. I wanna be just like you."
Omni-Man placed a hand on his son shoulder with a smile and said with confidence "You Will." Omni-Man gave Mark a quick hug before he turned to Garrett saying, "And you Garrett, when did you develop powers?"
Garrett was a little curious as to why Omni-Man wanted to know about his powers, but he ignored the feeling and answered the Hero saying, "I honestly got them two days ago and I'm still figuring them out."
Omni-Man realizing what Garrett was considering the timing of both his and Mark's powers coming out asked him, "Who were your parent's?"
Mark suddenly interrupted shouting, "Dad! That's not cool." Mark knew Garrett's mother was a touchy subject, he had told his family such, but he guessed his dad must not have been paying attention at the time.
Garrett waved Mark off saying, "It's fine, Mark." Garrett looked at Omni-Man and said, "My Mother was Leah Green and she died about two years ago and I don't know who my father is because he..." Garrett paused making Omni-Man curious Before Garrett continued saying quietly, "Forced himself on my mother, but I'm also guessing that's where I got my powers from since my mom was human."
Omni-Man Had a calm demeaner but on the inside he was pissed and worried. First of all, unlike some other Viltrumites Nolan considered it a major sin among his people to take an unwilling mate, and second, He thought his son getting powers was going to be an issue and was about to start training him to help him understand what's at stake, but now, he has just found out another Viltrumite had come here about a year or so before he did and sired a child.
Nolan filed this information away for later before he decided to get the boys' thoughts on something else.
While Omni-Man was in his own thoughts Garrett took the chance to look at Mark saying, "So, when were you gonna tell me your dad was Omni-Man?"
Mark frowned and replied, "I don't know, when were you gonna tell me you had powers?"
Garrett defensively said, "hey, I said I only got them two days ago!"
Omni-Man Spoke up since the boys had started chatting saying, "All right you two, you want to be like me and be Hero's?"
Both quickly forgot their argument and without hesitation said, "Yes!"
Omni-man began floating into the sky while saying, "Then follow me, I've got someplace in mind to show you."
Omni-Man then took off followed by the two teenagers.

Omni-man took the two to a small strip mall in one of the smaller parts of the city.
Omni-Man and the two rookies landed in front of a tailor shop but there was a closed sign on the door. However, Omni-Man walked into the store without a care making the other two forced to follow.
Omni-Man walked with a sure step before bending down and sliding a section of the floor away revealing a Trap Door. He opened it and motioned for the boys to follow.
The boys complied and floated down a shaft with a ladder before landing in a secret bunker full of rare materials and fabrics and state of the art sewing machines and other advanced tailoring equipment.
The boys' gazes fixed on Omni-Man as he made was way towards an old man with balding white hair, wrinkled skin, a white dress shirt with a vest, grey slacks, and black dress shoes.
The old man was sewing two fabrics together under a magnifying glass before he turned around after hearing Omni-Man approach. The man smiled at the sight of the popular hero before saying in gruff raspy voice, "Were you followed?"
Omni-Man just seemed insulted saying, "Please, look who're talking to."
The man just smiled and said "Sorry, just gotta ask."
Mark and Garrett were staring at all the different outfits on display. Now, these weren't your average outfits, many were colored in a variety of ways and made of different types of materials to fit certain hero's needs. Yes, these outfits were Super-Suits.
The old man spoke up again after seeing the two boy's look around saying, "prom dresses by day, Indestructible Super-Suits by night." the man walked up to the new rookies and shook their hands introducing himself saying, "Art Rosenbaum kids nice to meet ya."
Art looked at Garrett saying, "I know about Mark thanks to Omni-Man here." Art pointed his thumb at the hero before saying, "But I think you're the newest face I've had in here."
Before Garrett could answer Omni-Man placed a hand on his shoulder saying, "he's a new hero like Mark, Art, got his powers same time as him too, so hook them both up on me."
Mark and Garrett were stunned by the news before everything finally clicked in Mark's head. The young hero quickly shouted out, "Wait! You make dad's Super-Suits? Am I getting a Super-Suit?"
Art just laughed at Mark's excitement saying, "He's a quick one, this guy." Art then waved the boy's over saying, "here I've got some pre-tailored suits you might like."
A few minutes later Mark could be seen in a red and orange outfit that had discs lining the arms and legs. While Garrett still wore his put together outfit since none of the pre-made options caught his interest.
Garrett stared at the discs on Mark's outfit and asked, "What are the discs for?"
Art gained an embarrassed look saying, "well, I originally made the suit for Omni-Man and the discs were supposed to absorb solar radiation but that was when people thought Omni-Man's powers came from the sun."
Omni-Man let out a cackle saying, "Whatever made them think that in the first place?"
Art shrugged his shoulders saying, "I don't know."
Mark brought the conversation back to him saying, "Well, I like the goggles they keep the wind out of my eyes when I fly but the red and yellow aren't really doing it for me and the outfit overall is a bit... Flashy? I was thinking of something I don't know... Iconic?"
Art just smiled saying, "Of course! That's what every new hero wants, Iconic. But you gotta help me with something for that kid, I'm gonna need a name."
Mark suddenly deflated saying, "I haven't really thought about it."
Art just smiled reassuringly saying, "Don't worry about. It's a big deal and not an easy thing to figure out. Red Rush is a red rush when he goes by you, Darkwing has Dark Wings. When you figure it out, I got just the right stuff for ya, ok?"
Mark smiled at the friendly tailor saying, "Thanks."
While Mark went to change Art turned to Garrett and asked, "What about you, bud? You got a name yet?"
Garrett took a second to think and he thought back to the last time he saw his mother alive.
xxFlashback Two years ago, New York City, General Hospital.
Garrett Green could be seen sitting next to his mother who was in a hospital bed hooked up to multiple machines that were keeping her alive if barely.
Garrett had his head down unable to look at his mother in her condition while she spoke to him weakly saying, "Garrett, My baby. I'm so sorry I can't be with you any longer but no matter the circumstances, I love you with everything I have. I know life is going to be even harder for you now and I won't be able to help you but... Garrett, Look at me."
Garrett slowly raised his head showing the tears streaming down his face as he looked at his dying mother.
Leah raised her arm and placed her hand against her son's cheek as he leaned closer. She then spoke as seriously as she could in her condition, "You are MY son." His mother emphasizing the word my. "No matter what happens from here on, no matter what this cruel world throws at you, I want you to know, you are Unbreakable, Garrett. You can't be told what to do." his mother laughed slightly before saying, "Well, not anymore."
Garrett despite himself laughed with tear filled eyes at his mother, no matter what she always found a way to make him smile.
Leah got serious again and said, "promise me, you'll you live a full life. Have a big family and live your life your way. Don't let me leaving stop you from anything. Promise me Garrett."
Garrett clasped his mother hand that was on his cheek as he closed eyes with tears still coming down like rivers before he brokenly said, "I promise, Mom. I promise."
Leah smiled at her son before saying, "Good Boy, I love you so...much."
Suddenly his mother's hand fell from his grasp as the machines in her room began blaring.
Garrett shouted out with all his might "NURSE!"
xxPresent day, Art's Super-Suit bunkerxx
Garrett shook himself from his thoughts before he looked at Art seriously and said, "I have a name."
Art smiled wide saying, "Great, let's hear it."
Garrett looked at Art and said with confidence, "Unbreakable."
It was as if a light went off in Art's head as he instantly began sketching a design saying, "Now, that's what I call Iconic."
Since Art was a master at his craft, he had Garrett's suit sketched and fully made up in less than an hour.
Mark and Omni-Man stuck around to see the rookie hero's new look and they weren't disappointed.
Garrett came walking out wearing a full bodysuit that had knee and elbow pads, the arms of the suit ended in built in fingerless gloves, and it had a pair of boots.
The suit was black in color from the boots up to his waist, From the waist then going up and under his arms to his palms the suit was fire red. From the shoulders to the back of his hands was black as well, there was a white outlining when the black met the red on the suit, His mask covered his whole head save for his ears, the mask being black as well with two red stripes going down the eyes where two small red tinted goggles rested before the stripes moved down connecting over his mouth forming a U shape.
Omni-Man had an appraising look on his face while Mark looked at Garrett's mask and asked, "Why is your mouth covered?"
Garrett pulled his mask off before saying awkwardly, "When I was practicing flying, I had a little trouble keeping bugs out of my mouth."
Mark, Omni-Man, and even Art all looked at him owlishly for a second before all three busted out laughing with Mark holding his stomach and pointing at his friend saying, "Are you hahaha, are you serious? hahahaha Can't you close your mouth? Hahahahahha."
Garrett gained an embarrassed blush as the two other flyers and costume maker made fun of him. He just put his new mask on and got ready to leave but Art stopped him saying, "Hold on a sec kid, remember what I said about being Iconic?"
Garrett nodded saying, "Yeah."
Art smirked and said, "why don't you flex in that mirror and tell me what you see."
Garrett did as Art said and raised his arms in front of the Mirror. Garret was surprised to see that when he held his arms up at the right angle, his costume formed his symbol.
Garrett smiled under his mask and looked at Art saying, "Thanks."
Art just waved him off while saying, "think nothing of it, kid."
Omni-Man motioned it was time to leave as the rookies and pro left the secret tailor shop before going their separate ways. But before Garrett left, Omni-Man told him if he had any questions about his powers, he could come see him and Mark if they were available.
Garrett was starting to think Omni-Man knew more than he was telling him, but he figured a famous hero like him has secrets for a reason, so he didn't dwell on it.
Garrett flew home and stashed his new costume somewhere safe in his apartment. Once that was done, he got ready for work, he was running a little late since he didn't expect to be at Art's shop as long as he was. But it didn't matter to him right now, he had a Super-Suit now and a name.
Now, all he had to do was make his intro into the hero community and since the next day was Saturday, he would have plenty of opportunities to plan it out.
Once he was changed, He checked his surroundings before jumping out his window and closing it then fly up above the city and headed towards BurgerMart.

Omni-Man could be seen hovering above planet earth in space with his arms crossed and a small device in his hand.
He had made sure his family was asleep before he left and none of Cecil's infernal drones had been able to spot him.
So, he placed the device near his mouth and pressed a button before speaking in a coded language known only to Viltrumites. "Update on Mission status of earth. I have encountered a Viltrumite Hybrid offspring that is not mine. Asking if any other agents have been to planet."
Nolan waited for a reply for only about a minute before a male voice responded saying, "Sighting of other Viltrumite offspring acknowledged. Last known Pureblood on planet, Conquest."
Nolan's eyes winded in shock at that news's, Conquest, was one of Viltrum's most sadistic and brutal soldiers. Whenever the empire had a planet that resisted their rule, it was Conquest and only Conquest they sent to destroy the population.
Nolan was now even more worried about his mission, because it was one thing if he couldn't convince his son to help him have Earth join Viltrum. But to add another possible Viltrumite hybrid to get in his way, not to mention if he had the same personality as his father.
So, Nolan spoke into the communicator again saying, "Send agent to assess the Son of Conquest, make sure he won't interfere with mission." Nolan then thought back at how Garrett's demeaner entirely changed when his mother was mentioned. So, Nolan added one more thing saying, "Send a female agent, Conquest's son may be persuaded if he is manipulated or seduced."
This time a female voice answered him saying, "Acknowledged. Sounds like fun."
Nolan sighed before crushing the device and flew back down to earth and prepared to start phase 1 of his mission.

The Next day, Garrett was crouched on the top of the empire state building in costume, holding onto its large antenna with one hand.
He scanned the city for anything happening before he kicked his legs up and pushed off the grand building launching himself through the sky.
He began flying through the city doing dives, flips, and flying through narrow gaps of buildings.
People below who saw him either took photos or videos before posting them on whatever social media they had.
Garrett began flying on his back casually with his arms and legs crossed, having gotten his flying down to an absurd degree.
His fly time was interrupted though when he heard gunfire and a bank alarm.
He quickly flew towards the sounds finding two villains attempting to escape police after they just robbed one of New York's many banks.
One villain was made entirely out of magma while the other was human but wore a beanie cap and had some weird elastic chest plate with rubber tongues coming out of it.
The magma villain was about to melt some of the police, but Garrett flew down like a bullet before kicking up one of the cop cars and grabbing it.
He then placed the car on its side in front of the officers blocking the villain's attack. Garrett looked at the cops while he floated for second saying, "Stay back, I got these guys."
The Magma villain Just yelled, "we'll see about that, hero!" the magma man went to attack but Garrett flew past him quickly grabbing onto his partner before he launched them both in air.
The beanie caped villain punched Garrett multiple times making Garret's head move but he barely felt the hits.
Garret quickly changed direction and started to dive towards the magma villain using his partner as a rocket powered battering ram.
The magma villain panicked and tried to run But Garrett just adjusted his flight path until the two villains collided sending magma everywhere and taking out both the magma man and his partner.
A little bit later, the two villains were in power-nulling handcuffs while the elastic man looked at Garrett weakly and said, "Who...are...you?"
Garret just smirked under his mask and raised his arms in a pose, so his costume showed his symbol and said proudly, "I am Unbreakable."
Meanwhile, A crowd had gathered by now to see the new hero in action and cheered at the reveal of his name and many in the crowd got photos and videos of his soon to be infamous pose.
