Thailog had ordered Sevarius to create a branding iron that would have his own little symbol to show others that Brooklyn/Ravage belonged to him, which would appear on his chest.

But with Demona's expertise in magic, Thailog would make sure the branding didn't hurt his 'son', only for it to feel exciting to the red gargoyle.

Sevarius smiled after they were finished, revealing the stylish T symbol with on the bottom that looked like roots. It would go along Brooklyn's throat and collarbone. And the magic from Demona would prevent Ravage's stone sleep from removing it for good.

Demona looked at the design in excitement, eager to get it done on her rival. "You think he is ready, love?" She asked Thailog, rubbing a hand along his arm.

Thailog grinned smugly back at her. "I know he is. He will soon be mine forever, and not even the powerful father of mine, Goliath will be able to save Ravage, even if they snap him out of his amnesia."

He gave a chuckle, striding out of the room to go and get Ravage, who was waiting in his own room for his father to come, a little nervous about the branding but also eager, wondering if it would even hurt at all.

A knock was soon heard, Ravage looking up in nervousness, seeing his father arrive with a soft smile on his face. "Hello, my son." He greeted gently but sinisterly.

Ravage smiled back, standing up. "Is my reward ready, Father? I want to get it!" He pleaded eagerly, flapping his wings from his excitement. Thailog took his taloned hand. "It is, dear cherry. Come along now."

Thailog gave a small tug on Brooklyn's hand, the red gargoyle following behind, his eyes having glazed a little from feeling the effects of the trigger, still under Thailog's demonic control.

The two of them entered the lab room where Demona and Sevarius waited, Demona going to hug her 'son'. "I'm proud of you, little one. You're taking a big step in bringing our new clan together."

Ravage smiled while hugging until Thailog pulled out the branding iron. Ravage glanced at it, ears flattened but mostly from excitement and light nerves.

"Are you willing to serve your new clan, son?" Thailog asked, Ravage sitting down in the chair, his heart thumping. He nodded, the smile still on his beak.

Thailog bowed his head, moving the branding close to Ravage's collarbone, Ravage's heart thudding greatly while Demona held his hand.

It made contact with his skin, Ravage cringing from the feeling of the ironing hitting his collarbone and neck, Thailog leaving it there for a while. "You're doing great, sweet Ravage." Purred Thailog softly, the sizzling being known but Ravage couldn't feel any intense agony, only a thrilling tingling on his body, skin feeling pleasant.

After a few minutes, Thailog removed the branding iron, Ravage's whole body trembling from the experience, a pleasured smile on his beak, looking down at the symbol. He really was a member of his true clan now. "Thanks… Father." Ravage said softly, tracing his hand along the brand design.

Demona put a wing around him. "I added some of my own magic so that mark will never go away, little one. We never want you forget that you are one of us." She said in a sick, sweet manner to lure Brooklyn to being evil.

Ravage smiled, his eyes looking rather dark now, looking forward to killing more humans and anybody who stood in their way to let out all the pain of being held by Goliath's clan built inside. This was going to be really great.

Back at the clock tower, Lexington himself was on the parapets, staring out into the distance, wondering where Brooklyn was now, wanting to find him again.

Broadway came out carefully, noting the saddened look on his face. "Uh, hi. Are you alright, Lex?"

The green gargoyle tensed from his brother's voice, turning about in an awkward way, rubbing his shoulder. "Doing fine. Why do you ask?" He muttered in sarcasm.

Broadway flinched but kept his cool. "Well, uh, Goliath has been thinking that maybe… maybe all of us can probably go and find Brooklyn to heal him of his amnesia if you're feeling better from his… attack…"

Lex felt stunned that his brother had actually spoken up about it, and his eyes were excited for a minute before it left, remembering how Brooklyn had hurt him and Bronx, lowering his ears. "Dunno if I want to. I tried getting him to remember us but it was impossible, like someone messed with his head." He said softly.

It made Broadway put his arm around his little brother. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out. Let's go meet Goliath." Lex wound up nodding, walking with his brother into in the clock tower living room, Elisa there as well.

The group went on to discuss their plans on what they would do when finding Brooklyn, Goliath speaking his main plan. "We'll need to corner him so Broadway can grab his arms, and Elisa can get him with a sleeping dart." Goliath said, looking at their detective friend, who was a little unsure about hitting Brooklyn with one but now she was willing to do anything.

"And then what, Lad? He'll still have no memories." Hudson asked, having been feeling stressed about Brooklyn out there all alone and not remembering his life at all.

Goliath rubbed his neck. "That will be a hard one." He murmured, eventually making the call to move out, Elisa giving Goliath a hug before they all left.

Lexington glided with the others as they were to meet near an alley after finding Brooklyn, who at the moment was out on his patrols for Thailog, looking for humans to kill too. Goliath told them to split up and to find him.

….

Ravage soared into the night, his eyes glowing from feeling adrenaline on his killing escapades. He had already killed two humans, including a police officer which Thailog was immensely proud of.

But onthis night, Ravage's ears twitched and his nose picked up the smell of a nearby human, grinning. Perfect. He glided down to the ground, spotting a homeless man from afar, trying to keep warm.

The man heard the sound of wings near him, jerking up. He gasped in fright when spotting what looked like a shadowy figure with wings, terrified of it being the Red Menace he heard about on the TVs, the creature stalking closer. "G-get away!" Screamed the man, throwing a rock, the creature dodging, and laughing sinisterly.

"It is too late for you, human…" snarled the Menace, getting closer, the man screaming.

From above, Lexington's sharp ears caught the sound of the screams, knowing it could be Brooklyn, gliding onto a building close to the sounds, looking down, his eyes widened. Brooklyn was holding the man by his neck, snarling viciously, Lex rushing in.

"Stop!" Screamed Lex in desperation, trying to reach out for his brother while the rest of the clan began to come in as well. Ravage heard the voice from behind, making him jump and drop the man, who scrambled away.

Ravage gulped in fright at the sight of the green gargoyle he fought off before, never wanting to see him again, backing away, and his eyes widened more when more like him appeared.

Lexington had a pleading look in his eyes, desperate to get through to Brooklyn and have him come home. "Brooklyn, you don't have to do this. I know you can't remember me, but I'm your brother. And the rest of us are your family."

The red gargoyle shook all over, looking in a panicked way over to the one who looked like it could be the one called Goliath. Despite the colors being different, what freaked Ravage out the most was that Goliath looked like his father.

Goliath had Lex stand down, wanting to try his luck into snapping Brooklyn out of his amnesia, who looked very scared and angry, backing into the wall. He held out his hand. "Easy, Brooklyn. You're among friends. Please come home with us."

Ravage felt his eyes glow as he growled. "No, s-stay away! I don't know why you look like my father, but I won't be tricked! My name is Ravage, not Brooklyn!"

It caused Goliath's eyes to look saddened, knowing that someone must've really hated gargoyles to twist Brooklyn's mindset in this direction. He came closer carefully. "We can help you, Brooklyn. You must remember who you are. Please…" He reached out gently to try and put his hand on Brooklyn's shoulder and saw a strange marking on his neck and collarbone.

Ravage tensed, gasping. "NO!" He shrieked, slashing out with his talons, suddenly scratching Goliath across the chest which made him yell out, falling to the ground, making the other males stare in shock. Ravage stared at the blood of Goliath on his talons, looking down at what he did, not feeling happy he had to hurt a gargoyle. Humans he was fine with but not gargoyles. Tears in his eyes, Brooklyn made a run for it until Goliath called to Elisa to shoot him.

Elisa ran out from her hiding place, firing off the sleeping dart which wound up striking Brooklyn in his shoulder, causing the red gargoyle to stagger unsteadily on his feet. But to everybody's surprise; another figure appeared who looked terribly familiar, snatching up Brooklyn in his muscled arms, taking to the sky with him. Elisa saw that it looked like Goliath, which had a horrible feeling go through her veins.

The clan stared, unable to fathom that they lost their chance of getting Brooklyn back, again, while Goliath panted heavily, blood dripping down his scratches, his face disheartened and defeated, feeling like he failed Brooklyn. Hudson supported him, praying to any god out there to help their lost member come back.
