Elisa was returning home from her shopping after Brooklyn's small panic attack happened. He hadn't come out of his room since the incident, having the detective tell Goliath and Hudson to leave so she could help Brooklyn further. She had bought some small treats for Brooklyn.

After going back into the apartment, Elisa carried her bags into the kitchen, pulling out certain items, including cherries and other nice foods she figured Brooklyn would like. Eventually, Elisa went over to Brooklyn's room, knocking on the door since he had woken up from his stone sleep by now.

Brooklyn blinked his eyes open, turning at the sight of the door in small fear but had calmed down since his panic attack. "Hey, buddy, come on out, I got some things for you."

Tensing up, small shivers going down his spine, Brooklyn eventually reluctantly agreed, getting off the bed, opening the door, leaving his wings wrapped tight around his shoulders. His ears were quite flat on his head as Elisa gave him a gentle smile, holding his hand and taking him over to the kitchen, noting the ghostly stare on his face.

Elisa eventually poured Brooklyn a glass of milk and placed a few of the cherries into a bowl for the red gargoyle to eat, giving him another smile but then, she saw Brooklyn's eyes trail over to the cherries there, and suddenly his body became rigid. "What's wrong?" Elisa asked in worry.

Brooklyn trembled and shook all over from the sight of the fruit that caused him to fall into Thailog's control, now even thinking he was hearing Thailog in his mind. "You'll never be free, my sweet cherry... I'll always have you in my power..."

The beaked gargoyle let out a small keen noise, his breathing going really fast, as the word cherry kept being repeated in his head just from looking at them.

Elisa was still confused until she remembered how Thailog had wound up calling Brooklyn his 'cherry' back at the castle which rather disgusted her, quickly grabbing a towel and covering them up for later but it still wasn't doing any good, seeing the poor gargoyle now making whimpering sounds, his knees sagging. Taking action, Elisa pressed a button on her mic.

"Goliath, something's wrong with Brooklyn, I don't know what it is but you need to come over quick!" Elisa exclaimed in a panicked manner, running to grab Brooklyn, whose vision was spinning, and letting loose a heart shattering screech, like something was being pulled out of his mind while fighting against the cold grip Goliath's evil clone had on him, suddenly seeing small familiar memories slowly coming into his brain.

The detective then guided Brooklyn to the couch but to her fear, she felt Brooklyn collapse halfway there, sobbing and gripping his head, Thailog's voice growing louder and louder until he eventually shouts "NO! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

Elisa felt her own eyes water while stroking Brooklyn's back. "If you're thinking about Thailog honey, he isn't anywhere nearby. You're in my apartment; nobody is going to attack you... Brooklyn!" For her friend had eventually let out small choking sounds then eventually fainted, slumping hard on the floor right as Goliath glided in with Hudson, gasping at the sight of his second, who still had that awful branding on his chest, out cold.

Hudson raced over, a hand on Brooklyn's forehead that was rather hot. "Lass, what has happened?"

Feeling really worried, Elisa watched Goliath pick up Brooklyn. "He-he had some kind of mental breakdown just from seeing some cherries I put out." Brooklyn's unconscious form had twitched as soon as she spoke those words then backtracked herself. After making sure the red gargoyle was comfortable, Goliath had a chair next to him, stroking his snowy white mane of hair.

Hudson didn't have a clear answer on how they could fix Brooklyn's mental disease, but he just hoped if Brooklyn woke up again, he would remember them all. But that was just a wild thought, placing a careful hand on Brooklyn's chest, rubbing it soothingly, wishing to pull that branding off of him. "The best we can do is to wait for him is to snap out of this."

Elisa didn't like that but nodded, sitting down as well, the three of them waiting, knowing it was at least 5 hours until sunrise.

Brooklyn felt lost in a sea of fog and darkness, hearing familiar voices of his past slowly returning, his body floating in midair. He looked around, the voices whispering his name. It was Brooklyn over and over. He trembled, realizing that it really was his name, but could hardly recall anything except getting hit on the head facing those armored men.

Suddenly, a vision of one of his mothers appeared in front of him, which wasn't Demona. Brooklyn felt tears in his eyes at the sight of her, going to hug the gargess who gave him shushes of comfort. "Remember who you are, my son. You are a gargoyle of Wyvern. You are Brooklyn." She gives him a small kiss on his forehead as she began to fade away, Brooklyn trying to reach out to her. "Don't leave me..." He begged, until eventually, the waking world began to come back to him.

The voices of shadows above Brooklyn greeted his vision upon awakening. He groaned, rubbing his head. "Brooklyn? Are you alright?" Goliath asked softly, seeing his second finally coming toaround 4:00 am.

Brooklyn's vision cleared a bit more, staring around at what looked like Elisa's apartment that he usually visited, even if not as much as Broadway and was lying down on a couch. His head hurt like the dickens too, like he had been unconscious for weeks. "Ugh... Elisa? W-why am I at your apartment?" He croaked.

Elisa had a hand over her mouth, her eyes beginning to look happy. "You remember me?" She questioned, a hand on his.

Brooklyn tilted his head. "Uh, of course, I remember you. You were the first human in this time era to be our friend, right?"

Hudson felt his breath hitch out of happiness that Brooklyn was remembering himself again, holding Brooklyn's hand tight. "Ye weren't yourself for a while, Laddie."

Brooklyn froze up from those words at the idea of him not having his memories. "Hudson? What-what have I been doing? Where are those men in the stolen armor?"

Goliath and Hudson both looked at each other in sorrow before Hudson answered. "Those men ye speak of are long gone. Someone worse than them had taken advantage of ye losing your memories. It was Thailog."

That caused the red gargoyle to shake slightly when hearing that name, his mind now feeling terribly violated at the idea of someone like Thailog using his memory loss for his own gain, tears beginning to fall down his face. Hudson soon gave Brooklyn a gentle hug, knowing it was going to take a lot of healing for Brooklyn now that he remembered himself once more.
