Prologue
It was a normal Saturday morning in Canterlot City as it's citizens bustled about their daily routines.
However for a specific person it wasn't exactly normal,
Just outside of the city limits, on top of a cliff face a young man was bouncing on his feet as if psyching himself up.
He look to be about 18 with an athletic build underneath his red and gray hoodie with matching sweatpants and white sneakers.
He had spikey black hair, light tan skin, and piercing green eyes, he had a confident smirk playing on his lips.
"Okay, okay, it's go time, let's do this," he said to himself, his heart racing with excitement. The young man took a deep breath of the crisp mountain air and turned around so his back was facing the edge of the cliff.
Closing his eyes he did something only an idiot or an insane person would do.
He jumped.
"WHOOOO!" He yelled as the wind rushed past him, his stomach lurching as gravity took hold.
As he was getting closer to the ground, his eyes opened as they glowed and ethereal blue for a moment before he did something no normal human could possibly do.
He pushed himself upright before with a slight movement he flew into the sky defying gravity and logic all together.
With an excited glint in his eyes he began to ascend, the cityscape growing smaller beneath him as he climbed higher into the sky. The buildings looked like toys and the people mere ants, scurrying about their business, oblivious to the spectacle above them.
Once high enough he felt the thrill of the height, he smirked as he bent himself back before...
BOOOM!
A sonic boom echoed across the city as the young man broke the sound barrier. His smirk grew even wider as he felt the power surging through him, his arms now outstretched as if to embrace the sky itself. He streaked across the heavens like a meteor, leaving a trail of blue light in his wake.
The people below looked up, and smiled as if this was a normal occurrence, pointing and waving at him.
He waved back at the tiny figures below, reveling in their joy and the feeling of freedom that that flying always brought him before he flew forward with a big grin
And suddenly everything stopped as if somebody had paused a movie.
So I know what your all thinking why is that incredibly handsome guy flying like a superhero out of a comic book.
Well first, let me introduce myself my name is Miko Tsuburaya.
And if you guys really want to know my story, it all started around a year and a half ago began with strange a dream.
A year and a half ago.
A seventeen year old Miko Tsuburaya slowly opened his eyes and sat up to find himself in a white void.
He stood up while idly notice he was just in his pajamas.
"Where am I?" Miko whispered, his voice echoing eerily in the vast emptiness. The whiteness around him stretched out infinitely in every direction, making it difficult to discern up from down.
Miko looked around the white void, his heart racing as he tried to make sense of his new reality.
He'd had his fair share of bizarre dreams before, this one took the cake. The silence was unnerving, and the lack of anything tangible to hold onto made his knees feel weak.
He took a tentative step forward, and the ground beneath him felt firm despite its unnatural appearance.
"Hello!" Miko called out, his voice echoing into the vast emptiness. "Is there anyone here?"
He sighed in irritation as his voice echoes back at him, the only response to his question. "Well, that's not creepy at all..." He muttered to himself.
Suddenly he felt something gently land behind him making him jump before he turned around and he realized something.
It was big.
It was a fifty foot tall giant humanoid like being, it's entire body was emanating a bright white light.
But by the silhouette the giant had a dorsal fin on top top of it's head and it had glowing whit oval shaped eyes.
While it's presence was calming and peaceful Miko's eyes widen in shock as he knew what the being is. "M-masaka..." He said in Japanese "Hikari...no...Kyojin...?" He asked in wonder.
The Giant Looked into his Eyes as if it knew him personally, and Miko looked at the giant in awe and wonder
The Giant slowly outstretched his left arm as if reaching for Miko before everything went white.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Miko's eyes groggily opened to the persistent beeping sound of his alarm clock. He sat up in his bed, the vivid dream of the Giant of Light fading into the early morning light that filtered through his window.
'It's got to be a coincidence' he thought to himself as he swung his legs over the side of the bed and planted them firmly on the floor. He put the dream at the back burner for now, he had to get ready for school.
As he moved through his morning routine, the image of the Giant of Light remained etched in his mind, a silent reminder of the surreal encounter.
After a shower and brushing his teeth he got dressed in a grey hoodie over a blue shirt and grey pants with plain white sneakers, trying to shake off the eerie feeling that clung to him from his dream.
He grabbed his backpack and headed downstairs for breakfast. He made himself breakfast before he got out and locked the door of his house.
He stared into the horizon, at the city with a look of melancholy.
'Just another day in Canterlot City' he thought to himself with a sigh before he walked to the bus stop, as he waited for the school bus to arrive his mind lingered to his dream of the Giant of Light
Now I know I said that my name is Miko Tsuburaya, but in truth that's the name I go by in this world.
Because well...to put it basically...and bluntly, I died and got reincarnated into another universe.
I woke up outside of an orphanage in a baby basket wrapped in blankets on a cold winter as a baby, With small note that said 'please take good care of young Miko Tsuburaya'.
Also i still had all of my memories of my past life so i was still conscious about everything, you would not believe the shock i had when i saw my little baby hands
in that moment i realized one thing not only do i get a second chance, but i also realized something terrifying.
.
.
.
.
I was going to go through puberty again...
.
.
.
.
I could do nothing but cry like a baby, Literally.
The Caretakers thought i was just hungry after they took me in
by the time i was three i wondered what universe i was reincarnated in i had my suspicions as everyone was technicolored from their skin, hair, and eyes.
but overhearing the caretakers just confirmed it,
The Orphanage i lived in was located in Canterlot City
That's when I realized what where in the multiverse I was. I got reincarnated to My Little Pony Equestria girls.
as years pass by I grew up fast, hiding my knowledge of future events from everyone, my mind was racing with a crap ton of questions. How did I get here? Why am i here?
However i was not wasting this second chance in life given to me, I studied hard, worked hard, be kind and considerate to others, had friends here and there, but no matter what I do i still felt like an outsider.
Years passed and I'm in my early teens i got lucky and made a big fortune, i spent half to the orphanage that took me in and raised, and using what was left i decided to live by myself it was hard at first but i eventually got use to it,
Soon I found myself Enrolling in high school, Canterlot High School to be specific
But for reasons I kept my distance from other students, because I discovered during the near end of my freshman year I was strong, ridiculously strong.
I discovered it one night as I was buying groceries and heading home when I was grabbed and pulled into an alley by a couple of thugs and they had no plans to mug me
Scared as Hell...I thought I would die again, but before they coud do anything else, My body reacted before my mind could process it.
And in that moment, something strange happened, Something that changed my life forever,
I felt a surge of power, and the next thing I knew, the thugs were flying backward, hitting the alley walls with a thud. They didn't get up.
I was shocked by my newfound strength, but the reality of the situation set in quickly. The thugs weren't moving, and fear grew in the pit of my stomach.
I rushed to check on them, only to find they were unconscious, but alive. I didn't know what to do, so I left them there and ran home, adrenaline still pumping through my veins.
Fearing that I might accidentally hurt someone I kept my distance from the others. I had to figure out what was happening to me.
I had watched My Little Pony Friendship is Magic many times Especially the Equestria Girls Movies and Specials and I knew of the Magic will that will Appear in this world sometime in the future, but I knew this wasn't magic.
It was something more, i felt like it was something unique only to me.
And it scared me,
The power that i now posses. I knew I couldn't tell anyone about it, so I practiced in secret, learning to control the strength that surged through my body whenever I was threatened or scared. I pushed myself to the limits, breaking things unintentionally at first, until I could rein it in.
During training I also discovered I had enhanced speed, durability, and endurance, abilities that seemed to stem from my human body. I knew that I had to be careful, not only to keep my secret but to understand it.
Eventually I learned how to control it, And through strong and harsh meditation I learned how to turn my powers on and off with just a thought.
i thought maybe i could use my powers for good be a superhero like i always dreamed to be, maybe even help the Rainbooms in their adventures.
But in my Sophomore Year the thought of causing butterfly effect occurred to me
Fear and Doubt of What Ifs Started Going over my mind, What if i made things worse, what if i end up getting the Rainbooms killed by Midnight Sparkle or Gaia Gloriosa
what if even more worse and powerful enemies appear,
'what if i got my best friend killed'
that thought, that single thought made me realize I can't risk it, it was too dangerous,
and i kept my distance, never interact with anybody or make contact in CHS only when needed.
i even regretfully broke ties and kept my distance from my best friend.
from Dash
Because i realized i don't belong here hell for all intentions and purposes i shouldn't even exist in this universe...
and yet I am here.
But even so, I still had a lot of unanswered questions why am I in this universe, why do I have these powers?
and even though i have all these questions and my Powers
i chose to stay in the shadows.
be a thought back in people's heads.
a person not worth remembering.
A Phantom.
The bus arrived with a hiss of its brakes, and Miko climbed aboard, swiping his student ID card. The bus was mostly empty at this early hour, and he found a seat near the back, where he could be alone with his thoughts. He pulled out his phone to check the time before he put it back in his pocket
'the phantom of CHS' as he was known not because he was unpopular or bullied or anything like that but he simply avoided interacting with others in school and tends to vanish when nobody is looking.
As the bus pulled into the school parking lot, Miko felt a strange sense of déjà vu. The dream of the Giant of Light had been so vivid, it was as if he had actually been in that void. He took a deep breath and stepped off the bus, trying to shake off the feeling as he headed towards the school's entrance.
The front exterior of the school. It contains a statue of a horse, referred to as the Wondercolts statue, A sign consisting of two horseshoes, with the center horseshoe placed on its side to resemble the letter C, is placed just at the sidewalk.
Once he entered the school the hustle and bustle of students greeted him as he entered the school, their laughter and chatter a stark contrast to the quiet of his morning.
Miko made his way through the crowded hallways, keeping his eyes on the floor to avoid any unnecessary interactions. His heart was still racing, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something significant had happened in his dream.
Soon he reached his locker and opened it with a metallic clang, the sound echoing through the corridor. As he grabbed his books for first period, He looked at the calendar on his locker to see the date for the Fall Formal dance was Four days from now.
He frowned as he knew the events that would take place during the fall formal soon 'should I get involved?' he thought.
Before he could think more the bell rung putting that thought in the back of his mind He closed his Locker pulled his hoodie over his head and head to his first class.
Okay so this has been on my head for awhile now and i thought why not post it hear my first story please comment
