The Perfect Overlord

Somewhere in a town called Blazewood, highlighted by its country feels and its slightly drier atmosphere, Cell and Cy Yu were at a bus stop, with the bus driving away.

"So why did you bring me out here Cy Yu?" Cell asked, starting to get Cy Yu's identification correct.

"I'm glad you asked!" Cy Yu said with a smile. "We're here to see the Sons of Calydon!"

"Who's Calydon?" Cell asked.

"Oh no, that's just their gang name," Cy Yu explained. "They're bikers, and their leader is the current Overlord of the Outer Ring Motor League!" Cell raised an eyebrow, the words failing to make much of an impact. The VTuber sighed, before saying, "They basically run how things go around here in this wasteland of an area."

"So what, are we in California or Nevada?" Cell questioned, seeing a tumbleweed blow through the town.

"Why, you'd be in New Eridu," a man said from down the street, causing Cell and Cy Yu to look to see a man with green hair, who wore a red scarf and a leather jacket, while also wearing an intimidating pair of sunglasses. This was a man of confidence and violence just from his aura alone. "The one place faced with Hollow disasters… among other things."

"That, Cell, is Lighter," Cy Yu said, pointing at the identified Lighter. "He knows not only how to box, but kick some serious ass!"

"How do you know this?" Cell asked.

"He's a member of the Sons of Calydon," Cy Yu explained.

"You are… KaggyFilms?" Lighter asked as he adjusted his glasses, keeping his eyes well hidden.

"Motherfucker, it's Cy Yu now!" Cy Yu exclaimed, clearly not amused at this recurring trend.

Lighter merely showed his phone and said, "Your… Inter-Knot username?"

Cy Yu blinked. "I don't- what the fuck?!"

Suddenly from out of the sky, Shallot landed on the ground. "Hey, I'm looking for a guy named Light-" Shallot stopped when he saw Cell, Cy Yu, and Lighter having their conversation that looked like it was going to start a fight based on Lighter's posture. "...yo, is now a bad time?" Shallot asked.

"Quickly Shallot, bail us out of this!" Cell pleaded. Shallot merely gave a deadpan stare, before suddenly flying away. "You damn son of a bitch!"

"Lighter, what the hell is the problem?" A blond biker girl said as she walked up to Lighter, holding a baseball bat.

"Ah, Lucy," Lighter began. "These two are here to meet us. Probably unrelated to what 'KaggyFilms' wanted."

"Someone's using my original goddamn name in this universe?!" Cy Yu shouted. "Why?!"

"So you're KaggyFilms?" Lucy asked.

"I mean, I was and technically still am!" Cy Yu replied. "But I rebranded. I am Cy Yu VTuber now!" Looking at Lighter and Lucy, Cy Yu said, "But listen, I'm here because I wish to recruit you guys to escort me and Cell all the way over to the ferry to Teyvat."

"Oh great, I can only imagine how horrible this will be," Lucy remarked, clearly not amused by this request, and also seemingly annoyed.

"Teyvat, huh?" Lighter was more or less indifferent. "Why there?"

"Yeah, why ARE we going to Teyvat?" Cell asked Cy Yu.

"Because what better place to vacation than there? They got some pretty gorgeous landscapes and fantastic cities!" Cy Yu revealed, clearly intending to surprise Cell with a vacation.

"Can't wait to see how you fuck this up," Lucy commented.

"What was that?" Cy Yu asked.

"Nothing," Lucy replied, looking to the side with her eyes closed and chin up.

Cell crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the ground. "Look, are you going to do it or not?"

"Well pay up fucker," Lucy retorted. "Or Lighter will kick your ass."

"Not how this works but okay," Lighter replied with a shrug.

"...Cy Yu, where's the money?" Cell asked.

"I have the payment alright, and a bonus for Caesar specifically," Cy Yu said.

"Caesar?" Cell asked. "Is he their leader?"

"Burnice owes me now," Lucy said with a haughty smile on her face.

Cy Yu sighed. "She is their leader, yes."

"...I'm sorry, she?" Cell asked, surprised.

"She?!" A voice called out, before suddenly another woman with a sizeable chest dashed forward from behind Lucy and Lighter, looking at the two of them expectedly. "Where?!"

"There's not a woman here Caesar!" Lucy shouted at Caesar, before bonking her on the head with her baseball bat. "Rein it in damn it!"

"Not even Belle?" Caesar asked, before Lucy started to shout at Caesar.

As this occurred, Lighter looked at Cy Yu and Cell, saying, "Caesar's a lesbian."

"Okay, I'm definitely being thrown for a loop here," Cell said. "First, Caesar is a chick. What the fuck. Second, she's a lesbian?"

"Yep," Lighter replied, adjusting his glasses coolly as he added, "And that's not probably not lore accurate."

"Oh right, this is still the DAU," Cy Yu remarked, suddenly having second thoughts about recruiting the Sons of Calydon for this. "...oh god, what's Burnice like?!"

"On her 18th bottle," Lighter answered.

"Oh my god, how high is her blood alcohol level?" Cell asked. "...and why do I smell fire?" At the mention of fire, Lighter looked down the street and towards the massive pillar of fire that suddenly appeared.

"...that might be why," Lighter answered.

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'M ON FIRE~!" Burnice shouted as she shot her handheld flamethrowers into the air absently. "I'MMA LIVE FOREVER~!"

"Damn it!" Lucy shouted. "PIPER! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO GUARD THE NITRO-FUEL!"

Turning to Cell and Cy Yu, Lighter coolly explained, "Nitro-Fuel is basically alcohol in these parts." He then pushed up his glasses with his fingers again.

"Why are you still doing that?" Cell questioned, getting tired of seeing Lighter trying to act cool.

"My eyes are sensitive to light due to an injury I got a long time ago," Lighter explained. "And I suffer from hemophobia." Cell raised an eyebrow, clearly not sure what to do with that information.

"Caesar," Cy Yu began, taking the opportunity to speak with the leader of the Sons of Calydon. "I would like to humbly request that your gang escorts me and Cell to the port on the opposite end of the Outer Ring so we can travel to Teyvat via a cruise."

"Well pay up then," Caesar replied with a hand on her hip. "Money makes the world go square."

"IT'S 'MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND'! NOT SQUARE!" Lucy shouted at Caesar, before trying to hit Caesar with her baseball bat, but the leader of the biker gang blocked it with her round shield. "THIS IS THE UMPTEENTH TIME ALREADY!"

Cy Yu then pulled out a bag of coins, showing it to Caesar. As Caesar pushed Lucy to the side, she inspected the bag. "Seems a little bit light," Caesar remarked dryly. Cy Yu then pulled out a magazine titled 'Sorcerer's Magazine'. The leader of the Sons of Calydon was skeptical of the contents, but upon flipping through a couple of pages suddenly started blushing and whistling. "Damn… Mirajane is fiiiiiiiine." Closing the magazine and coughing into her left hand which was a prosthetic, she said, "Alright, deal's a deal. We'll escort you."

"I…" Cell looked between Cy Yu and Caesar. "...I'm not gonna question it."

"Good," Cy Yu replied as he crossed his arms. "Anyways, when do we head out?"

"When evening falls," Caesar answered. "I swear it on my duty as the one and only Overlord to escort you to safety!"

"Hmm?"

In the Evil Capital, Ainz Ooal Gown suddenly perked up from the paperwork he was reading in the office he was granted by Evil.

"Is something the matter, Lord Ainz?" Demiurge asked Ainz, also assisting with the paperwork. "Do you require the death of a bipedal sheep?"

"No Demiurge," Ainz said with a soft sigh. "But I did get the feeling someone mentioned my Class..."

Demiurge stared at Ainz for a moment in silence. When Demiurge finished, he said, "Perhaps you should take a break Lord Ainz and allow me to take over the workload."

"Do you swear to be unbiased in approving these applications for Evil's army?" Ainz questioned. Seeing even the slightest hesitation, Ainz wasn't amused. "I'll finish this, do not worry." As Ainz looked back down at the many applications of criminals, Ainz thought to himself, 'Thank the heavens I know how to manage a business.'

"Alright, what should I expect?" Cell asked Cy Yu as they sat in the back of a truck when evening struck.

"Probably car sickness," Cy Yu said as he prayed to the heavens suddenly, confusing Cell.

"...why?" Cell asked, concerned.

"Alright Piper, let's go!" Caesar shouted outside of the truck, banging the side of it. With no warning, the truck instantly started speeding at over 100 miles per hour.

"That's why!" Cy Yu shouted as he and Cell were thrown to and fro in the back of the semi-truck.

"Fucking kill me!" Cell shouted as the Sons of Calydon escorted Cell and Cy Yu with a need for speed.

The biker gang definitely knew something about thrills.

Definitely setting up another side plot, but hey, I love the Hoyoverse games! And Zenless Zone Zero just got their version 1.4 update, so what better way to celebrate than to make a chapter with all the wrong characters! These guys aren't even the main focus of this update!
