Chapter 1: Falling Asleep Driving
We open to an empty road in Springwood, Ohio.
At least it was empty till a pickup truck came driving up the highway.
A man was on his way home from work but given it was a late shift he was too tired and tried to stay awake as hard as he could.
He tried to play some music to distract himself but even that seemed hard.
He was even aware that four pairs of razor knives cut through the seat towards the man…
He shakes himself to stay awake and the claws are gone.
He turns out the volume but he still couldn't keep himself awake and then all of sudden…
The razors cut out revealing they're on a gloved hand and cut through him.
The man screamed in terror and pain from the scratches inflicted on him.
The man bleeds out screaming, losing control of his car and then…
*CRASH!*
"Hahahahahahahahahahaha!" A voice came…
We roll to the opening title card and credits.
Wolverine vs Freddy Krueger
After the opening credits close we open back to The Xavier's School for gifted youngsters.
Where Logan walks into Charles Xavier's office.
"You wanted to see me Charles?" Logan asked.
"Yes Logan. Come in. I have a task for you." Xavier said.
"Whatever it is better, have cheap beer." Logan said.
He sat in front of his desk throwing away his used up cigar.
"Cerebro had detected another mutant in Springwood, Ohio. I wasn't able to learn who it was because his or her powers only seemed active when the mutant is asleep for some reason. I believe it's young but very rash. Their thoughts block me out by some force I can't foresee. So I need someone to go there and find out who it is…and offer them a place with us." Xavier explained.
"What do you need me to do it for?" Logan asked.
"Because Storm is away on another recruitment mission. Scott and Jean are away in Europe leading a field trip for some of the students." Xavier said.
"Why didn't I go with them?" Logan asked.
"Apparently Scott worried you'd try to make a secret movie on Jean again." Xavier said.
"Heh paranoid ass. Alright fine go. But I may need the Black Bird. And I also need a pilot." Logan said.
"Let me worry about that." Xavier said.
"Oh and…I'll need Scott's bike." Logan said.
That's when we cut to later when the Blackbird takes off.
Logan sat there with a case and he opened it revealing…
…the Wolverine suit.
Logan was in for another dangerous mission and this one…
…would be none like any other.
