The New Goku

Hello everyone welcome I know that I have another fanfic that I should finish before starting another one but this one caught my attention and I didn't want to make its hope it doesn't bite me in the booty.

I don't own DBZ or any of its characters. I don't own the image used in the thumbnail and I give full credit to its creator.

Summary: An unfortunate training accident causes Goku's long-forgotten "Kakorot" to resurface permanently. Now his friends and family must learn to love and accept him. But can Chichi learn to love and accept the new Goku? And can the new Goku learn to love her back?

Chapter 1:A Bad Omen

The moonlight beamed over the sea's waves, along with side the stars and all of their constellations illuminated their path. The flying nimbus cast a shadow as Goku and Chichi approached the water beneath them. She held on tight to Goku as she dropped her hand to touch the cold salty water. Goku looked back at his wife, his smile nearly ear to ear. Chichi's eyes sparkled. ''Goku!'' she yelled out. ''Goku I Love you''. The wind made it hard for her to speak. ''What was that Chichi?'', Chichi leaned in closer to her husband, ''Goku! I said I-''. Chichi wasn't able to finish her words. The nimbus started losing control as it jerked all directions. It managed to throw them on a small patch of land where Kame house stood. Chichi rolled on the ground upon the small impact. As soon as she regained a sense of herself she looked all around for Goku. The moonlight fixed his silhouette to perfection. She ran towards him. His breathing changed, he was hyperventilating. Chichi noticed this and began to worry. ''Goku what's wrong?''. Chichi cupped his face into her hands. She looked up into his eyes and noticed his eyes had changed, a deep shade of crimson took over. His teeth began to sharpen into fangs.

The moonlight emerged through the bedroom's curtains. Chichi's eyes flung open. Cold sweat and a shiver ran down her spine. It was just a dream. The clock next to her bed marked four am. She looked towards her side and saw Goku sleeping soundly. The fresh winter's breeze made Chichi snuggle closer to her husband's warmth. She could feel Goku's arm pull her closer. Goku, being a Saiyan, made him a heat source that Chichi appreciated. She traced his well-toned abdomen with her fingertips. Goku opened slightly one of his eyes. He noticed his wife's worried look.

''Chichi it's the middle of the night. Why are you worried?''

''I'm not.''.

''You're doing that thing with your brow that gives you away''.

''It's nearly pitch black in here how could you possibly see that''.She pulled the covers up to her neck and turning her back towards Goku.

He hugged her. Embarrassing her hoping that she would open up. ''I'm here for you, I always will be''. He kissed the top of her head.

Once the sun had risen, Chichi had a full and busy morning. She had a planed visit and wanted to do her best in preparing every detail to perfection. Goku's appetite was once a challenge when they first got married but now over time, she had become a top-notch cook. Goten was not falling behind as he had an appetite the size of mars, he had grown so much and in just a few days he would become thirteen.

Gohan being kidnapped when he was four, the trip to Namek, Goku dying, coming back to life, dying again only to finally be revived again. All of the villains and dangers her family had constantly had to deal with.

Was that finally just the worst of the worst? Did her dream mean something more that she yet had to realize?

How did she put up with it all?

It was them, her sons, and her husband that keep her going all these years. Seeing Goku become the world's savior, watching Gohan grow up into the man he is today, and seeing Goten following their example brought tears of joy to her deep brown eyes.

She grabbed a few eggs and placed them on the countertop where she the first one a few taps by the rim of the bowl, she proceeded to crack it only to be stunned by its contents. Red. Blood along with some clots contrasted with the white bottom of the bowl. She stared at it. A sense of disgust hit her. Throwing it out and proceeding to rinse the bowl so she may start over with hopefully clean eggs.

She began beating eggs furiously, hoping it would distract her from the previous experience and the thoughts of her late-night dreams that crept up on her. She felt a presence make it way behind her form. This startled her, making her nearly drop the cooking chopsticks and bowl she held onto tightly in her arms. It was Goku's arms around her. Now in his usual gi, he nuzzled the space between her neck and shoulder. Giving her light pecks all over her cheek.

''Can you stop. Your son and his wife are about to be here and I haven't finished half of my chores!'' Chichi's strong housewife personality shined through. She was a perfect example of how to keep a tight household. Kids well dressed fed and kept their heads in the books, well when they could at least. Loving husband, sure he had to go and 'save the world' here and there but a loving husband never the less. A spotless house and incredible food were always on the table.

''Oh come on Chichi'' he whined. ''Take a break. Goten is fast asleep and Gohan won't be here for another hour or so. Hell, I'll do anything you say. I'm at your command.'' he formed a wolfish grin.

Chichi sighed. Slowly she changed her rock hard stern and softened up. ''Fine'' a smile crept up on her face nearly ear to ear. Goku grabbed his wife by the waist and brought her in closer. With her arms around his, stood up on her tiptoes so she would be able to face him a bit better. Felling their warm breath on one another. Her lips parted ever so slightly. He did the same. She was so close.

''Help me mop the floor''. She whispered as her lips nearly touched his. Chichi retried and went back to her cooking.

''God damn it Chichi you're cold''. Joking around she shook his head slowly. Goku obliged and grabbed the mop and bucket she stored in the closet, filled it up with some cleaning liquid. She didn't pay much attention to him. It wasn't that hard to mop the floor.

Until she felt a thud on her back. She turned her head swiftly and saw a tough pillow on the floor behind her. Goku whistled playfully, continuing to mop. Her eyebrows arched inwards and her mouth twisted. ''Don't think I didn't feel that.'' Her hands now on her hips. Goku didn't care. He threw another one in her direction hitting her dead in the face. Now she was annoyed. Leaving the bowl on her countertop. She made a run towards Goku's way. He quickly took notice of his and dropped what he was doing and they bough ran across the wet floor.

''I'll get you Saiyan!'' she yelled out.

In the blink of an eye, Chichi was next to him. She reached out and attempted to grab him by the collar of his shirt only to miss as Goku made a run for it. Goku took this as a joke. It was nice to get his wife to forget her household duties and kick back a little to have some fun. She didn't think the same, however. Her brows formed a deep eleven and her cheeks flared up in a brighter rosy color. Making another attempt to get a hold of him, only this time successful. She caught a hand full of his jet black hair. This, along with the previously wet floor made him lose his balance and flung him backward. A thud broke through the air. Chichi felt suffocated under the well-built Saiyan.

''Okay then. Get off!''

''I can't Chichi, you have defeated me without any hesitation. You're obviously stronger than any opponent I have ever faced.'' He threw his head aside and stuck his tongue out symbolizing his demise towards her.

''I'm not kidding. Your heavyGoku''. Worming her body under his hoping to find an escape.

''Okay okay''. Slowly rising, permitting enough release for Chichi to get out from under him. With a swift move, the tables had turned. Chichi had gotten the upper hand and used her body to pin his down. Placing her knee on his chest and using her forearm to keep his neck pinned down.

''I see what you did there''. He arched a brow.

Chichi scowl became a dominant grin. Relaxing her facial muscle as she now in control. ''You got distracted''. Her whisper hit his face like a feather brushing against skin. Their faces are once again so close to one another. Chichi leaned down further and brushed her lips against her husband.

''Wow dad, If mom was able to get the best of you I guess she should be the one training me''.

Goten stood arms crossed leaning against the frame of the door.

A drop sweet formed on both of their brows and conjured up a nervous giggle.

''Well, son you now your mother. It may not be such a bad idea!''. Goku scratched his head.

The table was now filled with plates of rice, tamagoyaki, fermented soybeans, miso soup, bread, vegetables, and fish.

A knocking at the door was heard. ''I got it''. Goten made his way towards the front door. Gohan entered accompanied by Videl who was holding on to a coffee cake. Chichi's face brightened up as she saw her son enter the room. The newlyweds greeted everyone with an array of hugs and kisses. The cake was placed in the center of the table and everyone took their rightful place.

''Itadakimasu!'' The family cheered in symfony.

Chichi and Videl were barely able to bring a bite of food towards their mouths when Goku, Gohan, and Goten had managed to devour nearly everything on their plate.

''Boys!'' Chichi yelled out. The three with their cheeks puffed from the food stopped almost immediately and slowly turned her heads towards her direction. To where they saw her flared nostrils inflamed eyes and hands of hips. ''Goku you should give your sons a good example! Not show them how to behave like pigs! And you Gohan!'' She pointed her finger towards her eldest son. ''You should be ashamed of acting this way in front of you is going to think that I brought you up poorly.''

Videl looked up at her mother in law. ''Oh no-no.'', shaking her hands along with her words. ''I would never think of you in such a way.''

After the scolding, the trio of Saiyans apologized. Everyone now more at peace, they began to enjoy their meal as they shared a pleasant conversation. Different types of topics ran through them, everything from how to keep their Saiyan appetites at bay to the different ways to prepare bento had a lot to say when it came to keeping the men in her life happy.

''Well, everything was great mom''. Goten pushed himself further away from the table. ''Mom I'm going over to Trunks''. Jumping off his seat he began to slightly over when his mom grabbed his sleeve bringing him back down. ''Aren't you forgetting something''. She had an emphasis on her cheek. Goten took notice and kissed his mom goodbye once again making his form levitate.

''Hey, I should probably go and see what Vegeta is up to. Hey, Goten wait for me!'' Goku ran after his son. Only he was surprised by Chichi's body blocking his way.

''Where do you think you're going!'' she placed her hand on his chest. ''Your son and his wife came all this way to see us and spend a family day together. It's not every day he is here with us. You're not going to run to go horse around with Vegeta. Do you hear me Goku!''

''Oh come on Chichi just-''.

''No.''

''Just a little'''.

''I said no Goku and that means NO''. She stopped her boot on the floor balling her first.

''Er, I got to run Chichi. Goten is waiting for me. Gotta go!'' Goku managed to yell off as he sprinted ways catching up to Goten in the clear sky.

''Goku as soon as I get my hands on you you'll see!'' She screamed at the top of her lungs towards the flaying away forms.

''I just wish one day you could spend it with didn't even say 'I love you.'' Her lip quivered ever so slightly. A small tear started forming only she held it back as much as she could.

''Come on mom, let's go inside.'' Gohan grabbed his mother's hand and guided her back into the house.

Chichi being a strong-willed woman she still had the most sensitive feeling and needs.

Hello everyone! Hopefully, you enjoyed the beginning of our story. Now some explanations as to the bad omens I used in this chapter.

In Japanese culture, the number 4 is consider's unlucky since it's pronunciations resemble the word for death.

Now in my culture, anything revolving eggs and blood is considered bad luck since it had a tie to negative energy. These can be sent to you like a jinx or because something bad is waiting in the near future.

I'll be glad and excited to read and receive you guy's comments and reviews. :) See you soon.
