75 Years Chapter 7

Author's Note: I do not own The Hunger Games

Due to the damage caused to the Stables prior to the Sixth Hunger Games, it was decided the Tributes of the Seventh Hunger Games should stay in a long-abandoned warehouse near the Arena. Meanwhile, the Gamemakers have decided to revive the concept of different arenas for different Games, and have sent a note to Dr. Gaul to ask permission in order to start greenlighting construction of an arena for the 10th Hunger Games.

The Games:

With sixteen Tributes left, the District 1 Tributes, Crystal Aramani and Hermes Steenson, turned their attention away from the Weapons Pile, while District 2's Alastor Harris managed to pick up a sword and started cleaving through Tributes brave enough to go near the Weapons Pile, with the District 10 girl swiftly decapitated as she attempted to pick up a knife

16th: Venetia Conrad, District 10. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

A boy from District 4 was cleaved through the chest as he attempted to flee

15th: Rafferty McAuley, District 4. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

Meanwhile, in a corner of the field, a girl froze to death, her clothes drenched with the water from the broken water pipe

14th: Alexa Thompson, District 3. Seventh Hunger Games. Froze to death

Still drenched, Ross Butt of District 8 huddled into a corner in an attempt to get away from the fighting. Within hours he would develop pneumonia. The rest of Day 1 passed by without any deaths, and on Day 2 three more deaths occurred as a result of the burst pipe

13th: Cordelia Barett, District 4. Seventh Hunger Games. Flu

12th: Gwen Maxwell, District 5. Seventh Hunger Games. Flu

11th: Sarah Glosswill, District 6. Seventh Hunger Games. Flu

Meanwhile Dallas Gill formed an Alliance with District 9's Chive Carmichael and District 6's Vladimir Gagarin. The three Tributes stuck close together until Day 4.

On the other side of the Arena, Alastor made his third kill of the Games, striking down a boy from District 5 that happened to cross his path. Malnourished, Xavier Daniels collapsed as soon as the blade hit his neck

10th: Xavier Daniels, District 5. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

Early on Day 3, the malnourished District 1 Tributes starved to death

9th: Hermes Steenson, District 1. Seventh Hunger Games. Starvation

8th: Crystal Aramani, District 1. Seventh Hunger Games. Starvation

Several hours later, Ross Butt would soon perish

7th: Ross Butt, District 8. Seventh Hunger Games. Pneumonia

On Day 4, Alastor Harris made his fourth and fifth kills of the Games, striking down two small boys.

6th: Fredrick Hardman, District 11. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

5th: Edmund Hartley, District 10. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

After the break up of the Alliance between the District 6, 9 and 12 Tributes, the three Tributes went different directions. Alastor ran into Dallas, and despite overpowering the District 12 boy, Dallas cut off Alastor's arm with the latter's own sword

4th: Dallas Gill, District 12. Seventh Hunger Games. Killed by Alastor

By afternoon, two more Tribute deaths would occur

3rd: Vladimir Gagarin, District 6. Seventh Hunger Games. Starvation

2nd: Alastor Harris, District 2. Seventh Hunger Games. Blood loss.

1st: Chive Carmichael, District 9. Seventh Hunger Games. VICTOR.

Chive struggled to get herself up.

Aftermath:

Chive's victory was celebrated in District 9, as three years earlier, they had to bury her sister. Chive vowed to win for Ginger, and she did. Despite being on the brink of death, Chive soon regained weight and returned to live a peaceful life in District 9. Chive would die before the 69th Hunger Games, dying five years before her great-niece Rosie. By coincidence, the District 6 female in the Seventh Hunger Games had a sister who too participated in the Fourth Hunger Games; even spookier, both Sarah Glosswill's relative Penelope Roosa and Rosie Carmichael would end up as Tributes in the 74th Hunger Games sixty seven years later. After the 10th Hunger Games, all remaining copies of this Games was destroyed expect for the "Master Tapes". Below is Dr. Gaul's thoughts on the Seventh Hunger Games:

The Gamemakers have submitted a proposal for an Arena design, but I won't approve yet.

Trivia:

Chive Carmichael is the first Tribute related to another Tribute to win the Hunger Games

So we are heading towards the end of the first Hunger Games decade. Of course, we'll see the 11th Hunger Games Arena soon
