Chapter 6: Joker and Luthor
We get a scene from the movie while Clark was making breakfast he hears on the news of the man Robin stopped the other night the report was different from the current one of Batman branding him just Robin beating him to a pulp…
This was to draw Clark first interest in Gotham which later he began his first research on the Batman… He reads about the latest Batman activities over the years.
The fear of toxin plague by Ra's Al Ghul. The murder spree of the Joker. And the terrorist attack of Bane.
Unlike in the actual story Clark was amazed there was someone out there before him trying to make a difference but also he heard the false story of the Batman murdering Harvey Dent to cover his own crimes to insure hope of Gotham.
Next thing Clark discovers is Batman's sacrifice to save the city ending Bane's reign of terror so Clark assumes Batman is dead but this Robin guy took his interest.
Are his interests the same as Batman's?
Or someone forcing Gotham to live in fear?
Later we come to Lex Luthor only in this version Senator Finch doesn't visit him.
No its…its…
"Hello there." Joker said.
"And how may I ask, did you get pass my security?" Luthor asked.
"Oh they seemed mopy so…I just carved a smile on their faces." Joker said.
Lex couldn't help but to chuckle, bringing Nolan's Joker and Snyder's Luthor together they…could get along well…
Lex traps his glass as he does in the movie giving us his red capes are coming song.
Joker looked at him oddly.
"You know the funniest truth in the world? You might find this as just a joke but the truth about it is actually what makes it funnier. You see, the devil's don't really come from hell below us. Oh no my friend they come…they come from…they come from the sky." Luthor explained.
"Hmm." Joker said.
"My father never even actually changed anything in this room. I might change that painting up there." Luthor said.
Joker grew a grin under his lipstick grin.
"Think about it Bats fly in the night and are resembled as demons." Luthor said.
"Hehehe you drive a hard bargain Lexie. What's your take?" Joker asked.
"I just need you to be my eyes and ears in Gotham. Cause it'll only be a matter of time before…your friend returns." Luthor said.
"You really believe he's still out there? Especially what everyone says?" Joker asked.
"I'm certain of it. You just had to…hire a cat off his back." Luthor said.
Luthor just stated he drew Catwoman away from Bruce just by offering…enough money something she never refuses.
Joker then chuckled, liking what he stated.
"Now the black capes are coming too. Black and Red…soon to collide…your own…agent of chaos." Luthor said.
"You just said the magic word. You know when I first came to Gotham I was ripping off mob bosses. But…my friend…changed my life. I mean I wanted to kill him at first but…it got too fun just to let something…go to waste." Joker explained.
"My thoughts exactly." Luthor said.
Joker laughs as the camera zooms at the painting.
That next day we get to where that same man Bruce saved in Metropolis but coats his legs spray paints on the Superman statue.
When he was arrested it's all over the news with him yelling he works for Bruce Wayne which drew everyone's confusion at the Daily Planet.
Especially Clark.
He and Lois went on the internet just to make sure if he really is…
And it turns out…Waller paid off Bruce Wayne's death as a cover by the Agency to protect him from Bane and his family wealth…was restored.
"This can't be right. Everything Bruce Wayne is all reinstated." Lois said.
"Something must have been pulled." Clark said.
Clark then began his suspension of Bruce Wayne…
To Be Continued…
