Izuku runs into the center to get Lampent and Jangmo-o healed up and as he's sitting there he sees his Dad and Papa walk in.
"Dad, Papa over here!" Izuku yells while waving his hand. Dad and Papa walk up before taking a seat on either side of Izuku. "I didn't know you two were off today, why didn't you tell me you were going to watch me battle the Gym?" Izuku questions while straightening the cuff of his coat nervously.
"We know how much hard work you put into training and wanting to become a Subway Boss. So we talked and agreed it would be verrrry good idea that we arrived at the station at different times so we wouldn't make you more nervous that we were watching, " Papa says smiling gently while Dad nods along. Izuku gets tears in his eyes while a wobbly smile pulls at his lips before hugging them and saying, "You two are the best parents ever." They gently hug back and reply, " Well you're the best son anyone could have, just by being you." As Izuku is talking with his Dad and Papa the door to the Pokémon Center slides open and Hilbert walks in. Hilbert sees Izuku first and walks over, gets Izuku's attention and asks, " How have you been Izuku?" "I've been doing great. I just earned the Bolt Badge. What about you how have you been?," Izuku responds, smiling big.
"That's great I have earned my Volt Badge a few days ago, but there is so much to do in Nimbasa City I just had to stay and explore, tomorrow is the start of the Stamp Rally, but I bet you already know that as your Dads are the Subway Bosses," Hilbert says excitedly.
Ingo and Emmet smile seeing the excitement from a possible challenger and their little passenger's eyes lighting up. They share a look before nodding and Ingo says, " How about a challenge Izuku and Hilbert. Usually even if more than one person completes the Stamp Rally it's still just one on one, but if you and Hilbert can complete the whole Stamp rally in one day instead of three we will have a double battle with you two." Ingo and Emmet watch as Hilbert and Izuku's eyes light up again and Hilbert says, " This is too good of an opportunity for a great battle to pass on, I'm in." "Indeed full speed ahead to victory," their little passenger's says happily. Ingo and Emmet look on happily to see the two so excited.
" Alright then I will meet you tomorrow morning at eight. We should meet at the Pokémon Center Subway entrance because that is the closest entrance to both my house and the Pokémon Center where you're staying, correct?" Izuku replies while looking at Hilbert who nods, smiling. "We'll see you tomorrow," Hilbert says while walking into the guests' room area of the center. Izuku waves back before leaving with his Dad and Papa. As the next day starts, Izuku and Hilbert meet early in the morning at the Nimbasa Subway entrance. "Ok so to complete the challenge, unlike most people doing it, we only have one day to collect all the stamps to be able to do the Double Battle with your dads. That's going to be a challenge because there are over forty stamps to collect at different stops," Hilbert says while they walk down the stairs into the Subway.
"Yes but not impossible, because I have all the locations and train schedules memorized and there are exactly sixty stamps to collect to complete the Rally" Izuku responds while leading Hilbert to the first Stamp location. They both grab a sheet and stamp the first slot before Hilbert says excitedly, " This is going to be so much fun! Let's get those stamps and then have an even greater battle!!" "Well let's start by traveling down line one and getting all the stamps on the stops and then moving down to the next line and next until we get all of the stamps, "Izuku replies while they get onto the train.
Over the course of the day the duo move from line to line and train stop to stop collecting the stamps, only to run into a snag halfway through. "Hey Izuku, what is the next train we need to go to?". "Platform number four and get off at the next stop," Izuku responds as they collect the thirty-seventh stamp. Right as they are walking towards the platform a fight breaks out between two other passengers that cascade into chaos as shouts of, "Get out of my way!" "Stop shoving you idiot!" "Watch it!" Hilbert gets shoved onto platform five as the train doors open, being jostled and winding up in the train. As Izuku calms down the fighting passengers he turns around to see Hilbert on the wrong train.
"Hilbert, you're on the wrong train, just get off at the next stop and I will meet you there!!" Izuku yells right as the doors of the train close. Hilbert nods as Izuku stands by waiting for the next train that will show up in five minutes. After what feels like hours to Izuku the next train shows up and Izuku quickly gets on to wait as the door closes and the train speeds down the tracks. "This is ridiculous how many unruly passengers show up at the most inconvenient of times," Izuku grumbles frowning like his Dad. After a few minutes the train comes to a stop and the doors open with Izuku rushing out to see Hilbert at the Stamp station waiting for Izuku. "Sorry for getting on the wrong train Izuku," Hilbert says while looking sheepish. Izuku waves it off saying, " It wasn't your fault about this unexpected derailment, it was those who shoved and pushed at the last stop. But this gives us a chance to get some lunch before continuing," Izuku responds. "Sounds great," Hilbert says happily as Izuku stamps his sheet before they go to get something to eat.
As they reach the last stop ten minutes before Four o'clock when the Stamp Rally closes for the day Hilbert says out of breath, "I can't believe we got here in time with all the craziness that happened today." " I know what you mean, us getting separated then having to figure out how to find each other. We made it in the end though so let's get that stamp so we can get that battle," Izuku says while catching his breath as well. They both then run over and get the last stamp they need for the rally. "Bravo!! Very well done staying on track to reach your goal you two, so as the prize for winning the rally you get to battle me and my brother," Ingo says while walking up to his son and his son's friend Hilbert with his brother beside him. Ingo and Emmet couldn't help the excitement they felt over this as not many trainers do the Stamp Rally because of their regular Battle Subway. Leading Izuku and Hilbert to one of Special Stamp Rally trains, they all walk inside as the doors slide open.
