The next morning, the Hall of Heroes shook, everyone wakes up from their bed and gasped. Ratchet and Rivet looked out their bedroom window and saw a massive warship blasting buildings, tinier ships poured out of the larger ships*
Ratchet: *Into his communicator* Rangers! Prepare for battle!
The rangers all get to their ships in the loading dock and the kids follow them*
Jericho: Guys what's happening?!
Ratchet: An ambush! Looks like the blarg are back...
Raiden: Can we help?
Ratchet: No. Absolutely not. We need you to stay here and stay hidden. Understand.
Raiden: But...
Rivet: No buts Raiden. Boys. Kids...
Jericho: Come on, we need to get to safe house.
Kyzil: What about Ice Blister, Mothra, and Greenlight, they can't fit in the safe house.
The rangers all take off and Raiden raced after the ships. She watched as they flew off and started fighting. After a few moments, Raiden shook her head and turned to her friends*
Raiden: The Rangers need help. Let's go.
Kyzil: Where are we going?
Raiden: We are going out there.
Kyzil: Umm no we're not. Mom and Dad said to stay hidden.
Raiden: Mom and Dad maybe in trouble. We are their only hope.
Jericho: She's right, we need to go.
Storm: I second that.
Zula: Same!
The others agree and Kyzil sighed heavily*
Raiden mounts Ice Blister, Jericho mounts Mothra, and Kyzil mounts Greenlight*
Raiden: Alright, Jericho and Kyzil will help fight in the air, the rest of you stay on the ground. *looks at Tobi and Swordtail* Keep them safe. Dagger you too.
Dagger: No way. I'm your copilot, always have been. I'm coming with you.
Raiden: Dag...
Dagger: Jericho has Ray and Kyzil has Gamma. I'm coming with you as your copilot...
Raiden *sighs* Fine. *Dagger hops up on Raiden's shoulder* Alright! Rangers! Move out!
Ice Blister roars and flies out of the hanger, Mothra and Greenlight in pursuit*
Raiden spots a few large, worm like robots destroying some buildings*
Jericho: Raiden?
Raiden's expression darkens into seriousness*
Raiden: Forward Ice Blister! Faster!
Ice Blister roars as he flies forward*
One of the worms takes notice and flies towards them.*
Nefarious: *over announcer* Greetings Aleero City! I apologize for the invasion but a certain group of imbeciles and I have a previous engagement! Ooooohhhhh Raaaannnngeeeerrrrs! Where are you?! Come out, come out wherever you...wh-aaa-t?
Greenlight had shot a lightning strike at the speaker*
Kyzil: I hate monologues. *Greenlight nods and screeches in agreement*
Ice Blister and the robotic worm lock eyes and roar at each other*
Raiden: Ice Blister, freeze em'!
Ice Blister lets out a stream of frozen water and the worm starts to malfunction. Ice Blister rams into the worm with his claws and crushes its head. Meanwhile Jericho is having a fight with another worm. The worm breathes fire at it and Mothra dives beneath the flames. Seconds later she grabs the worm in her jaws from beneath and crushes it in her jaws.*
Jericho: WOOOOOOOO!
Mothra chirps in agreement*
On the ground, the young Rangers are fighting hard. Gunner, Nagina, and Hunter are blasting robots with guns, Zula, Ramsey, Leslie, Valis, and Storm are using swords.*
Nagina: *shoots a bot* Boom Baby!
Leslie: Come get some!
Zula: Storm!
Storm turns to see a massive robot coming at her but Tobi jumps on it and rips it head off. Poisondog burps up a purple gas at the robots, creating a shade for Swordtail and Devilhorn to attack. Snake grabs a bot and shakes it around and Supernova grabs a bot's gun in her mouth*
Quarly: Hold steady Rangers! Keep it up! Stay together!
On the Nefarious Space Station*
Computer tech: Sir! The Rangers ships have been singled out!
Nefarious: Excellent. Shoot them down and prepare the abduction ray!
Computer tech: Right away sir!
The rangers ships are shot down one by one*
Gunner: *sees Talwin's ship being shot down* MOM! *Runs towards the crash site*
Hunter: GUNNER WAIT FOR ME!
Ice Blister lands as Raiden saw Ratchet being shot down*
Raiden: Dad!
Ratchet climbs out of his ship*
Ratchet: Raiden? What are you doing out here? I told you to stay at the Hall!
Raiden: The Hall is being destroyed! We came to save you!
Clank: What?
Raiden: Come on we have to save the others!
Ratchet: I told you to...
A traction beam pointed on Ratchet started to lift him up. He pushed her away and she groaned in pain*
Raiden: *looks up at him in horror* DAD! UNCLE CLANK! NO!
Ice Blister sees Ratchet and roars in despair, racing towards him*
Ratchet: Don't let her get anywhere near the beam!
Raiden almost gets to the beam but Ice Blister picks her up*
Jericho: *sees his mother being lifted too* MOM! KIT!
Mothra flies toward them*
Raiden struggles to get to her father and reaches for him*
Raiden: PUT ME DOWN! I HAVE TO HELP HIM!
Ratchet: Raiden! Listen to me! You have to go! Go back to Veldin! Tell Grim what happened! Stay there Raid! Stay hidden!
Raiden: But I can't! You have to go with me!
Ratchet: Please! Ice Blister will protect you! So will Dagger! And Swordtail! And Tobi!
Raiden: No! We can save you! I promise! We will!
Ratchet: No! Raiden! Please! Don't come after us! Stay at home! Don't come after us!
Raiden: Dad!
Ratchet: Promise me Raiden! Promise me you won't come after us!
Raiden: NO DAD!
Ratchet disappears in the ship and all the larger ships take off*
Raiden starts crying as her hand was still in the air*
After everything calmed down, everyone was either crying or looking for people*
Valis: DAD? DAD!
Ramsey: MOM! MOM WHERE ARE YOU?!
Quarly: Dad! Dad!
Leslie: MOM! Mom! Come on! The fight's over! Has anyone seen my mom!
Nagina: Dad! Dad come on, this isn't funny!
Hunter was crying over his mother's ship and gunner was patting his back*
Raiden walked amongst the ruins and Dagger silently ran up to her, jumping into her arms.*
Jericho and Kyzil landed and ran to Raiden all of which crying for their missing parents*
