All over the galaxy, the war was ending. It didn't end in a whole lot of bloodshed, but one death...
The Jedi Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin. Only Windu survived, but he managed to kill the Sith Lord. Anakin Skywalker never intervened, Order 66 was never executed, Grevious was defeated, and the Empire was never formed.
Yet this was only the beginning of the struggles. Millions of clones were displaced, with conflict in the Senate as to whether they should be allowed to retire or be required to continue serving the Republic. Plus, there was the issue with their accelerated aging. Padmé and a few other senators had put in a motion to have the Kaminoans put a halt to the clone's accelerated aging once they get old enough to leave Kamino. It was been gaining a lot of support, especcially with Bail Organa as acting Chancellor.
There was also a fair amount of unrest among the Jedi. With many padawans having been trained and knighted during the war, they had not known times of peace. There was a growing number of them who wanted to leave the Jedi Order and form their own, with Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano at their head.
