-Professor X POV-

Today has been a productive day, Erik is here as well, so we decided to talk more about how to go about making it an easier place for our fellow mutants. I have started making brief outlines of how I'd like to start up the school for mutant students, and helped Erik use his powers without having to always feel or think about negative thoughts and feelings. After what felt like a long morning, we finally settled in the kitchen where we heated up some leftover beef stew and rice I made last night to eat. In the middle of our lunch, we heard rumbling outside. Erik and I look at each other and I tell him with a confused expression, "That's weird, the news never mentioned anything about a possible earthquake today or natural disaster today."

Before Erik could reply, we looked out the window to what appears to be some kind of huge space rock. We decided to get up and go check it out, as we walked out of the manor and got closer "It's some kind of foreign medal. Something I never smelled or came across before." Erik says, breaking the silence, with curious fascination laced in his voice. Once we make it to the crash site and the dust settles, at first, we can't believe our eyes. Upon further expectation, it's a brilliantly crafted space ship, and not a man made one either. There's no dents in it either, and my guess is that it didn't come from the moon either. Soon the latch opens handout steps, and this sight for sore eyes, woman has stepped out, she has Blonde hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes, and soft feminine features, and for a moment I'm taken aback by her beauty. She's quiet at first then asks firmly, her eyes shining with curiosity, "Who are you? Where am I? What year is it?"

"I'm Charles Xavier and this is my friend Erik. You're here on earth and it's Nineteen Eighty-Seven. What's your name and where are you from? Seeing as you have just emerged from a ship, you must not be from around here." I tell her calmly and with a small smile. She hesitates at first, and I can see she's a bit timid. "We won't hurt you. You can trust us. I promise!" I reassure her.

"I'm Bailey Zor-El, the only survivor of my home planet, Krypton." She finally replies looking around slightly confused. Her voice was alluring as she spoke.

"How about we go inside, and move your ship inside as well. It'll be safer and out of prying eyes." Erik tells her calmly. She hesitates, then she walks back over to her ship and picks it up as if it's a piece of paper, and soon follows us in silence while we're still in shock. Heading up the stairwell to the double-doors, it's an awkward and slightly nervous walk. Once in, I show her where to place her ship out of view from prying eyes, if anyone were to come about. I gesture to her to sit in a chair in front of me, and I pull it out for her.

"Would you like anything to drink?" I ask politely, and she shakes her head no. "Are you ok? You look a bit puzzled. Is everything alright? What's the last thing you remember?"

She fiddles with her necklace before speaking, "Not really, because I'm trying to process all of this. She pauses, trying to find the right wording of what she wants to say, "The last thing I remember is my parents Lara and Jor-El, placing me in my ship after saying goodbye to my Aunt, Uncle, and cousin and telling. They told me it would only take three years to get to Earth, and now finding out it's been fifteen." She pauses, a sad distant look in her eyes. "Then as my ship was leaving Krypton, I heard an explosion, and before I knew it, the aftershocks somehow temporarily knocked my ship off course and landed in a space vortex. What only felt like a few minutes, was longer. Soon I woke up with my ship entering the Earth's atmosphere, and BRAINIAC telling me to prepare for landing. Well, here I am." She finishes telling us with a sad smile and she goes quiet while looking down.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is a "BRAINIAC" system?" Erik asks curiously, and I can't blame him either, that is something that sounds interesting.

"Well, 'BRAINIAC' stands for the Brain Interactive Construct. It's an advanced supercomputer created by my father and uncle. It's so advanced, it can run several thousand laps a second around Earth's most advanced system." She explains, and then it goes quiet.

After an awkward silence, I spoke up, "How about we take a break from questioning and awkward silence and I can show you to your room." Giving her a smile, and with that, she and I stand up, and I walk with her to a room next to mine just in case she needs anything and won't get lost.

-Erik's POV-

Charles and I were enjoying the rest of the day, eating stew, when we started to feel rumbling. At first, thinking it was an earthquake, we got up and looked out the window only to realize it was some kind of meteor or something. Soon I sensed there was a metal that I've never come across before, it's foreign. It intrigued me a lot. Charles and I walked outside to the crash site when I saw this spaceship, this metal is nothing I've come across which is fascinating. Upon further expectation, it's a brilliantly crafted space ship, and not a man made one either, it had not one single dent or scratch. The latch opens and out comes a stunning lady, blonde hair flowing and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I noticed Charles was breathless seeing her beauty, and I can't blame him. She's quiet at first then asks, "Who are you? Where am I? What year is it?"

Charles begins to talk and I tune out most of the conversation because one: I'm captivated by her beauty and looks, the way her hair flows with the wind; and two: her ship and the mysterious metal that was used to create it. I'll ask her more about it later, but still it is rather fascinating. Who would've thought. Charles brought me back to the present about heading inside. I was about to move her ship for her but to our surprise, she grabbed it and carried it like it was nothing. She looked at me curiously, her blue eyes searching for something but I didn't know what. We begin walking to the house in stunned silence. I'm watching her carrying the ship as if it was nothing, which I'm intrigued even more, because she doesn't look like she can pick up something that heavy. Once in, Charles shows her where to place her ship out of view from prying eyes, if anyone were to come about. Charles gestured to her to sit in a chair in front of him, and he pulled it out for her.

He begins small talk with her. I feel rather foolish for being silent as long as I have, but this is new information and there are so many questions I want to ask, but couldn't find my voice or the words. So, I let Charles do the talking, or else I'd be a stuttering mess. I listen as she tells her story of what she remembers and how she got here, which I find quite interesting. She turns to look at me curiously and asks, "Why are you quiet Erik? Are you ok?"

I'm quiet at first then reply "Yes, I am. This is all rather shocking and new to me. I mean it's not every day one meets an alien, especially one as breathtaking as you." I see her slightly blush, and I glance at Charles with a small smirk.

"How'd you make my ship move slightly? I noticed you were concentrating hard." She asked curiously.

"Well, I'm a mutant, I'm able to manipulate metals. I can move it and control it however I want to." I responded to her question.

"Can you show me? This time I won't interfere, I was unsure at first what was going on when you were there by my ship." She asks, her blue eyes questions but intrigued. I raise my hand and move her ship on the other side of the room effortlessly and she gasps in shock.

"Fascinating! I didn't know there were humans here with abilities." She replies with a small smile. "How about you Charles? What can you do?" She turns and asks him, her eyes lighting up.

"Well, I can read minds, and communicate mentally if needed. I also can pause people in the moment and let the ones I didn't freeze roam when I am trying to keep the person of interest focused on me. I'll show you sometime." he replies with a smirk.

"That's cool, almost like a friend of my family." She replies "But can you promise not to invade my thoughts, unless I give permission, or ask you to please." She asks in a small voice. And Charles nods in agreement. "Anyways, I couldn't if I wanted to. Your mind has so many mental barriers, it's a bit complicated to explain." He tells her, and that's even news to me because that's a first for him and I.

After our conversation and an awkward silence later, to break the silence, Charles spoke up, "How about we take a break from questioning and awkward silence and I can show you to your room?" she nods, and with that they walk together for him to show her to a room next to his, just in case she needs anything and won't get lost.

-Bailey's POV-

I woke up with a start; I noticed I'm still in space, when I saw Earth, it's breathtakingly beautiful. I'm still rather lost as to how long it had taken. That's when I hear BRAINIAC, "Hello, Bailey Jor-El, I'm sorry for such a long journey. My systems had been knocked off line with the aftershocks of the explosion, it took time because I had to make sure you made it successfully, but I managed to reboot myself enough to finish the journey. This may be the last time we speak for now, since I am all out of energy. I'm hoping that over time I can reboot, but I may need some assistance down the line. Safe travels, Bailey Jor-El." and with that, it went silent. I wish he would stay talking to me to help elevate my nerves. Once entering the atmosphere, I start feeling power I never felt before, it feels nice but weird. I begin to panic as there is nothing but flames surrounding my ship with lots of rumbling and vibrations. I know my ship is very durable, but that won't ease my nerves. After what felt like forever, my ship finally crash-lands in this field like yard. Once my ship lands and the latch opens, I step out, I see that there's two men standing in front of me looking puzzled and curious. I begin to back up slightly as they advance towards me, unsure of what to do. I can sense that their demeanor is relaxed and non-threatening but also very curious.

Once they're standing in front of me, after finding my voice and still slightly confused, I ask "Who are you? Where am I? What year is it?"

"I'm Charles Xavier and this is my friend Erik. You're here on Earth, and it's Nineteen Eighty-Seven. What's your name and where are you from? Seeing as you have just emerged from a ship, you must not be from around here." He replies calmly.

"I'm Bailey Jor-El, the only survivor of my home planet, Krypton." I responded, looking around slightly confused, the sun here is young and full of energy. The warmth and energy it's supplying my body with is an amazing feeling, one I never felt under the red sun on Krypton.

Charles gestured for me to follow him and his friend, Erik, back to the house. I walk back over to my ship and pick it up as if it's a piece of paper, remembering that my father had mentioned before how strong he was when he visited Earth years ago. I soon follow them while all of us begin walking in silence. Heading up the stairwell to the double-doors, it's an awkward and slightly nervous walk. Once in, Charles shows me where to place my ship out of view from prying eyes, if any one was to come about. He gestures for me to sit in a chair in front of me, and pulls it out for me. As he answers my questions, it calms my nerves a bit. Soon, Charles starts asking me questions and getting more information. It's a lot to process at the moment. I mean it's been years before my ship finally came to Earth. I guess I'll try and adapt the best I can at the moment. He offered me a drink and a seat. I declined the drink and began telling him the last thing I remembered and what happened when I woke up. Once finished, I go quiet while looking down. I wonder how I got here to this part of Earth. Where did that vortex come from? It froze me in time for fifteen years! Now I'm here with two people I hardly know, asking me questions, but I have this feeling that I can trust them weirdly enough as it sounds. I have a good feeling about them, I'm good at sensing that. There was a bit of tension and silence as I talked, but then I began talking to Erik. He explained that they were humans, but also mutants. Erik can move and manipulate metals and Charles can read minds and stuff, which is rather cool. I look at both of them, they both look gorgeous, they're both attractive. Their smiles are rather dashing and I could stare at them all day, but not in a creepy way. But they're so opposite, not just in powers. Erik is quieter and more reserved, where Charles is more talkative and outgoing. While there is nothing wrong with that, it's one of the few things I've observed about them.

After an awkward silence, to break the silence, Charles finally spoke up, "How about we take a break from questioning and awkward silence and I can show you to your room. Bring your ship too, the room is rather big, so you'll have enough space." and with that I walk with him to the room that's going to be mine for however long I need it for I guess. "This room is next to mine, just in case you need anything and accidentally get lost. Is that alright?" he asks kindly and slightly hesitantly.

"Of course, this is rather kind of you and your friend, and allowing me to stay here for the time being." I replied with sincerity, a smile forming on our lips.

"Of course. I'll be back to retrieve you for dinner when it's ready. That is if you'll be hungry." he finishes and with that he walks out and closes the door. Now I'm just left with my thoughts, and before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep.

-Later That Day-

It's been several hours since I've landed on Earth, thankfully I learned enough about this planet in a few months prior to Krypton's destruction, well I guess more like fifteen years ago. I stare out the window, it feels weird being here alone, I don't even know if my brother and cousin made it to Earth, it's not like I can look up their names. It just doesn't feel real, it feels like this is all a dream and I'm waiting for someone to wake me and reassure me that it was only a hallucination. So lost in thought, I didn't realize Charles was standing at my door until he cleared his throat. With a start, I turned around, relieved that it was only him.

"I'm sorry to disturb you, I did knock but you didn't respond. Are you ok?" He asks, walking further in the room, a concerned look etched on his features.

"Yes, I am ok, just carried away in my thoughts. Is dinner ready?" I ask while quickly wiping away a few stray tears before I walk past him, hoping he hadn't seen them fall.

"Yes, it is." He replies, and we both walk out towards the kitchen. The silence there was a comfortable one.

Once we're seated, I ask "What am I to do for clothes? When I left Krypton, this is all I left with." Pointing at my clothes that has my house 'S' crest on it, and my clothing is gray and white.

"Well, I'll let you wear some of my night clothing, if that's alright with you. I'm not sure how it'd fit, but it should do for now. Then tomorrow Erik and I can take you clothes shopping." Charles replies, and I nod politely.

I started eating the food that was prepared, and it was actually rather good. I ended up finishing it a lot faster than what would be deemed as lady-like, but I hadn't had food for a while and it was a nice feeling. I look up and say "This is really good, I apologize for not having proper table manners tonight, I'm just rather hungry." I wipe my mouth, and while I do Erik asks, "Would you like more? We made enough for seconds."

"Yes please." I reply, my stomach beginning to growl. Once we finished eating, we walked back to my room once the dishes were cleaned
