Chapter 2: Attack and death of Rolondo and the ghost leviathan
Carefully the group entered the tunnel finding a large cavern full of crates "Looks like this Leviathan is a theif" said Loona as the group saw daze and hypnotized workers putting objects on the crates "All of this is from the sunken Freighter" whispered Hearing "Look its the elders and Rolondo" said Lucifer as the group turned and saw the Five elders at the edge of sea cavern as Rolondo walks up to them "Me and my dear pet got the items you need, it was quite delicious to taste the fear of that Freighter" he said with a dark chuckle "Do not get to comfortable Rolondo and do not forget what you promised us" said Saturn as Rolondo had a annoyed face as to the surprise of the group started to walk on water "I haven't forgotten so long as any outsiders that come I lay claim to there souls and there flesh" he said as the Ghost leviathan surfaced as with its tentacles carried more crates.
"So the rumors are true the elders are controling the Ghost leviathan" said Adam "How? Table scraps and a rolled up news paper?" Asked Loona "There not using table scraps" said Blitzo "*Looks around* it has to be some sort of mental power, but how is Rolondo walking on water I see no gem he isnt a half angel *sees some workers appraoching* get down" he said as they did Except Loona who unknown to them her eyes were glowing yellow as Rolondo as he petted the ghost leviathan seems to sense her as he grinned 'prey'
"I think the elders are using some sort of mind power to enslave the creature and using Rolondo as some sort of medium to get to it, if we break either the elders or Rolondos concentration they will lose control of the leviathan "Ticking will be good, nobody can concentrate when they are being tickled…or a bomb a bomb is a very good distraction" said Blitzo not realizing Loona was walking to the water as Naruto barked as Charlie and Vaggie meowed with alarm which caused the group to notice "LOONA!" Yelled Adam "Sacrebleu!" Yelled Hearing as Loona walked to the water as Rolondo walked to him as he lifted her chin chucking "Well well dear such a happy life…yet your past is filled with so much anguish" he said as with the group "Get Loona! I'll distract them!" Yelled Adam as the 5 elders saw them as Nutsugo place a hand on his sword as shadows of the mysterious creatures curled "Size them!" Commended Saturn as the possessed workers went on the attack as Adam got to the 5 as Nutsugo was ready to pull out his sword "Good thing I practiced in Avyond how to do a little magic [FLASH!]" He chanted as a golden magic circle glowed and created a strong flash which blinded and stunned the elders as Adam hopped that would be enough but saw the Ghost Leviathan was attacking still as Rolondo growled "What the?" Said Blitzo in the corner "But how? The elders eye contact and concentration how?" Asked Adam as Rolondo cruely laughed.
"You honestly thought they were the ones in charge!? I dont think so" he said as his skin seems to turn to a sickly grey and his eyes pupiless yellow as his teeth sharpened to fangs as his hands turned to claws as his hair turned to translucent fins as a tail sprouted from his tail bone revealing that he wasnt even a human at all "Your…" started Lucifer in shock as Rolondo laughed "A infestor little prince and once I accumulated enough souls and take yours your home is next!" He said as send a command to his pet as it attacked nearly smacking them down "Look out!" Yelled Adam as Hearing darted "Loona!" Yelled Hearing as he grabbed the still controlled Loona drawing her away as Blitzo pulled out a dynamite stick and lit it "Okay now, we try plan B…Plan Bomb" he said seriously as Hearing stopped him "No not at the creature *Points at the ceiling* at the ceiling" he said as Blitzo glared "How about picking the target before I light the dynamite huh!?" He yelled but with a strong throw he threw the dynamite at the cracks on the ceiling as that annoyed Rolondo as he got onto the head of the Leviathan as the rocks fell on it as he growled.
He patted its head commanding it to dive "Head to the sub pods we have to stop Rolondo and the Ghost leviathan from getting out!" Yelled Adam as the elders recovered from the flash attack "Stop them!" Commended Peter as the possessed workers went on the attack "*Charges* out of the way Barbarians!" Yelled Hearing as he tackles the villagers down as Loona recovered from the possession as Adam dragged her as they hurried to the pods as the 5 saw them angery at the mess.
In the waters the subs zoom and entered the caverns "*Through the radio* talk to me Hearing, we got to find that cave exit, our best chance is to trap Rolondo and the Leviathan and seal them inside, Loona are you ok?" Asked Adam "Yeah *Shivers* brreee, it was creepy, cold and slimy and Rolondo…he made me sit through the dark parts of my past and he had that sick joy of seeing me suffer it was horrible it felt like I was drowning" said Loona "*Over the radio* that is the power of a infestor they feed on the suffering of demons possessing them to make them do cruelty, I dont think the elders are the true masterminds" said Lucifer as unknown to the group Blitzos eyes became pure yellow as he was controlled by Rolondo "*Looks around* its to dark to see, fire the magnesium flares" said Hearing as they shot out flares however they saw that the Ghost leviathan was out "Holy cookies! Its already out!" Said Adam "It was expecting us!" Said Lucifer as Rolondo growled on top of the ghost leviathan as he gave a command to his pet
"Stay clear of the tentacles" said Adam "Ugh no kidding, I'm gonna take a shot" said Loona as she fired the torpedos evading but missing the target "No good I cant line up a decent shot" she said as the group evaded "Open wide dill weed its chow time" said Adam as he fired but he was slammed by Blitzo and Hearings sub as Hearing looked at Blitzo "What are you waiting for fire the-" he started but gasped seeing Blitzos eyes glowing a pupiless green as the possessed Blitzo fired at Loona and the others as they gasped evading the torpedos "Geese dad!" Yelled Loona
"Tell him to watch his aim he almost hit Loo (Noticed something) Look out!" Yelled Lucifer as a missile fired at them as Adam fired the missile as both blew up "Shoot the freak not us!" Yelled Loona
Hearings voice: Blitzo has gone mad! His mind is a blank!
"But the elders…" started Adam as Lucifer realized "Its Rolondo! As a infestor he has powerful psychic powers! That is why the atlantian scientists had the Infestors killed off" said Lucifer "Of course he is the one with the mind powers and he has control of the Ghost leviathan" said Adam as there was the sound of a whacking sound as in the sub Blitzo was seen unconcus as Hearing patted a wrench in his hand "its ok I distracted him" said Hering as Rolondo growled as he commanded his pet to follow as the subs moved out of the way to avoid the attack "Watch out everyone!" Yelled Adam as they moved away quickly as Blitzo slowly wakes up with his eyes normal "Uggh what the heck that was really strange" he said rubbing his head
"Loona studies her misscles* I'm down to my last shot!" She yelled "As am I!" Said Hearing "Head back to the beach the ghost leviathan cant follow us on dry land" said Adam as Blitzo noticed the abandoned pod filled with missiles as he got an idea "No" he said turning the sub back "Are you crazy? Your heading right at it!" Yelled Loona as Hering got his wrench "I will distract him again" said Hearing but Blitzos response was to yank his goggles as they snapped on his face "Ahh I am blinded!" He yelled "Adams sub pod, its got a full round of torpedoes, we can blow them all at once!" Said Blitzo "Alright lets do this!" Said Adam as they all aied at where the subpod was as Rolondo and the ghost leviathan got close as they fired as it impacted and created a large explosion as Rolondos eyes widened as a large Shrapnell pierced his heart as he bleed as he and his ghost leviathan pet dissolved to gunk and goo…dead
On the surface the 5 elders seem to moan in pain as they turned black almost silhouetted as blood spurted from them as green markings appeared as they collapsed dissolving away revealing the corpses on there cloths of a Gyuki (Saturn), Itsumade (Mars), Fengxi (Warcury), Bakotsu (Nusjuro) and a Sandworm (Peter) no bigger then a wolf as black gunk bled from there mouths…this was the 5 elders true form, the deal they made from Rolondo for power and immortality, with Rolondo and the ghost leviathan dead the dark clouds cleared as everything shinned as in the ocean as the infestor dissolved to green blood the same with the Ghost leviathan "You know I think the creep and were a bit hocus pocus themselves.
With Rolondos dark curse destroyed and the elders dead the sun shone on Lavos as the statue of the founders were pulled down and shattered as the villages cleaned as children ran around playing as a few kids ran on the beach as the ships were being repaired to be used again as Adam and the others watched "Oh yeah you wont find the Leviathan or Infestors in any biology book" he said as they watched Vaggie, Charlie and Naruto chasing tag a few kid as Lucifer and Adam picked up there respected kitten nuzzling them "The curse is lifted, the fish are back…and the mildew has been scrubbed away" said Lucifer happy at the peace.
"*Sniffs* so if something stinks now" started Blitzo as the group moved away from Hearing as he sniffed his armpit "What? Why do you do this with your hand? Its the fish?" He said not believing he was the one smelling bad. "For 8000 years I have lived with the same faces, it is strange to meet new people *Smiles* and each new person has new thoughts, new ideas, your world has so much to offer I hope that one day my people, the people of Aveyond can offer as much" said Lucifer as Adam hugged him "Well there is no reason they cant, your people can make a difference to the world like we did here, now that Rolondo and his pet Ghost leviathan has been stopped, its left to people like Belle to raise there little ones in peace" said Adam as they waved to where the innkeeper holding her children in a back sling as a little brown haired boy named Ben rested on her shoulder as she carried her daughter Rosebelle "We can never thank them enough, now you can both grow big and strong and someday be a important person in this town" she said as she hugged them close as she walked off to continue her duties
A sense of peace and happyness has returned to Lavos but the adventures of Lucifer and the others are not done yet.
Authors note: and that is the end of Rolondos rampage and the deal that he made with the elders as they were once simple versions of there yokai forms but there greed and envy wanted more that they struck the bargain to make them more powerful, and with the deal over they lost all there power…and lives.
Next chapter The group switching out Blitzo with Stolas must go to the desert to help a freind of Leopold who lost a crate of poetry to mysterious dust wolves
