The cameras were rolling and the room was packed with individuals, cats of course all dressed sophisticated and white collar, most had microphones and large news cameras aimed at a single platform polished with shiny wood. On that platform was a podium and on the front was the podium was a golden circle that had a star with six points, it was logo of the Sheriff's Department.

Inside displayed the white figure of a cat looking up toward the sky with a ring of stars around it, as well as the letters 'KCSO' and 'To Protect and Serve'. Also on the platform were two flags, a white background with the same badge like emblem, on top of the flag pole were miniature golden cats. It was clear that this was the Sheriff's Department Headquarters, and all the cats were ready for a speech.

To the side of the platform was a door that opened, all the cats looked on, pointing their cameras as the familiar Sheriff walked in, keeping his head down as he himself tried to calm himself. Same cats in the front row closest to the Sheriff's Podium stuck out their microphones, the podium itself already had microphones on it from different news agencies however every reporter wanted to get the best cut. Reno perched himself up against the podium, his mouth just inches away from the multiple microphones.

He looked around starring at each of the cameras as he cleared his throat. "G-Good evening, Later this day, We all know what had taken place. According to reports from deputies that were present at the prison, there was a massive explosion which initiated a large fire which had quickly grown out of control. As a result multiple deputies were hurt and even killed in the fire, as well a mass amount of dogs had...escaped" Reno gulped before he said the last word, he could see the fear in the reporters eyes, knowing that detail already but hearing once again was certain a surreal reality.

"I have already organized a mass hunt for these fugitives, I am urging all citizens of this county to contact the police if they come into visual contact with any dog." Reno had requested, however his statement for contacting the police for any dog seemed to raise concerns within the small crowd of reporters. "I am currently working alongside the Katt County Judiciary Committee to secure search warrants for high value places of interest we believe they might be hiding in, This is not a time for panic or exaggerated fear. I ask for your cooperation as your Sheriff, in return I ask you to take the best precautions for your safety.

Stay inside, Lock your doors, Do not attempt to reason with a dog if you see one in the wild, and lastly, be sure you have the means to defend yourself nearby. I do not encourage any cat to shoot and kill any dog they see, however, All cats have the right to defend themselves with deadly force if come to that situation" Reno had ended his speech to the public, speaking more so that cameras than the reporters in the room.

Almost immediately, The cat reporters sprang up their paws and asked their questions out load. "What did you mean by the statement of 'contacting the police for any dog', To some critiques that would imply you're promoting a level of profiling, Can you clarify that please?" One reporter asked, Reno flinched as he turned.
"O-Oh yes, I-" Reno hadnt even got to start of his explanation before another reporter asked another questions.

"Sheriff Reno, How would you move to obtain search warrants to look for the dogs in such small notice of them escaping, Would this violate many cat's rights' to illegal search?"

"Well I dont see how that would-"

"Sheriff, With the authorization of deadly force you've given to normal everyday citizens of the county, Would your Department ever pursue charges for cats who kill dogs unjustly?"

"I-I dont believe thats what I-"

"Sheriff Reno, There are claims that the cause of the fire was partly due to prison being in 'poor quality', many of your deputies have claims the prison was a fire hazard from the past, Are these claims true?"

"Sheriff Reno, There are have been mass allegations of beatings and abuse within the prison by deputies, These are not recent claims, Can you deny these claims right now?" Reno had felt cornered as he looked around, all of them ask questions he wasnt sure of or even afraid to tell the truth on. Slowly, he had backed away from the podium as the mass clicking from the cameras snapped every photo of the defeated Sheriff. "Have a Good day" He stated before leaving the room.

"As you can see the Sheriff has just left the room, refusing to answer questions and leaving reporters baffled. Many are seeing this as a downfall for the Sheriff of Katt County and saying the Sheriff is going too far, however we will keep you update as the story goes on. This has been Moozy with WSKR News" The Reporter said into his microphone, Dixon scoffed at the Sheriff's statement as his sister was busy whipping away the blood from the fur on his cheek.

The others sat on the couch or down on the rug, was they watched the television turn the black as it was turned off by Rocky. "Hes cracking under the pressure" Chase stated, recalling how Reno would stuttered and looked genuinely concerned and unsure when he looked into the camera. "Reno has always been bold when he knows the dogs cant fight back, but now that they're out and about. Hes scared, nothing makes me happier than knowing that" Dixie smiled, patting down a small white ball of cotton on Dixon's cheek. Looking over at hey brother to see he wasnt sharing in the same feeling, at least visually. The white and brown cat continued to look down at the ground with a fearful face.

"Hey dont worry about the cut, you'll still look as ugly as ever" Dixie tried to joke and encourage however her brother just wasnt in the mood for their usual sibling rivalry play.

"Im not worried about this, Im worried about the stuff for Susanna. I mean, 15 of everything is going to leave us with basically nothing"

"Just...dont think about that right now, We'll think of something when the time comes. We have a week to think about it" Dixie reassured. "I cant believe her, Thinking she can just come in, order you both around, attack you, and just leave" Rubble spat, obvious this had nothing to do with the dogs but they were furious on how Dixon and Dixie were treated.

"We've had to put up with her for a long time, and this is the first time shes actually laid a claw on one of us."

"I dont get it, dont you have other buyers you could sell to instead of her?" The British breed bulldog had asked.

"We do have other buyers, but Susanna is the biggest buyer we have. Big buyers means big pay, and big pay is what we need for a big farm like this." Dixon explained
"Well if she thinks she can do whatever she can attack whoever she wants and get away with it, shes got another thing coming. We're not going to stand by and watch this happen, we need to do something" Rocky exclaimed, knowing their responsibility was to help people who couldnt always help themselves, and this was a prime case to offer themselves. Dixie sighed, knowing the reality of what she was going to say.

"You dont need to do that, This is our business, I dont want you three putting yourself in harms way just for our sake. Plus, Susanna knows we have dogs here, we'd rather lose a majority of our livestock then lose you three"

"We're going to get involved, Dont worry Dixie and Dixon, we'll figure something out eventually"

"Now wouldnt be a bad time to bring up downsizing the farm, would it?" Dixon asked to his sister. "Yes it would, there's no way we could downsize. We've built so much, we can think about it more together, as for tonight though, its been a long day" Dixie said, getting up off the couch and making her way to the stairs. Chase, Rubble, and Rocky followed shortly after. All three of them shared the same deep feeling that the two cats did, even though they didnt belong, they knew what was on the line for them, and it woulnt be easy to find a way around Susanna's grip on Dixie and Dixon, and to even get rid of her for good.

The moon was glimmering with a silverish glow, the sky was black as it should and the star were out in their full glory millions of miles away. The night was beautiful, there was no doubt about that. It was close to midnight, and many had already gone to sleep. However some with a job to do, they stayed up. The Police stood guard, outside of a wealthy looking house. The house had an old English style to it, some lights were on and outside there were deputies in uniform. Two stood outside the main gate, the corners of the gate were pillars are hard polished stone with grills for the fence in between. The two deputies mostly stood in silence.

It was a mundane and boring job compared to all the other things police usually did, patrolling up and down streets or writing traffic tickets for speeders. One deputy flicked his paw from side to side, trying to entertain himself at the least. "Can you please stop that, Its annoying" The other deputy asked, of course sounding annoyed by the tone in his voice, judging by the way he said it that this wasnt the first time his colleague had gotten on his nerves. "Geez Relax, I'm just bored" He defended.

The other deputy rolled his eyes as he snarled "Cant wait to put that in my report, 'Deputy gets bored and enjoys pissing me off'" He exaggerated. "With any luck, you wont have to write anything your report, as long as we dont see anything" The other said. Unknown to them, Sitting on the stone pillar of the fence was a cat. A female feline with fur brown and orange, however it was so dark that it mimicked a glow of grey. It was Lily, she eyed the two cats guarding the front gate before hoping over on the other side of the fence, running behind a bush to look more at the house.

She could clearly make out a figure walking back and forth within the house, some of the room lights were on, glowing a vast yellow or orange colour outside. Lily eyed all around the house, looking for some way of entry. All the windows were closed, the chimney spewed smoke so it was evident the fireplace was active, and it would be too much of a last minute hastle to take a uniform from off the deputies and try to blend it like last time. "I guess there's nothing wrong with doing it old school" Lily muttered to herself, knowing sometimes the obvious option was the best option. Lily dashed around the back of the house, spotting more deputies coming around the corner, throwing herself into a nearby bush. The cat cops walked back, not noticing at all. It was strange indeed, how a judge's home was bleeding with deputies on guard.

However, Lily couldnt stay on that fact for long. Quickly making her way to the back door of the manor and sticking her talon into the keyhole, making quick work as she heard the internal lock make 'click' sound. The door slowly opened inward as Lily pushed in, it was hard to see with the lack of light. All she could see were the outlines of counters that lined against the wall. Lily slipped in, looking around to see any there was a counter right in the middle of the room, it seemed like this was a kitchen. Lily turned to the door frame that lead out the kitchen to see two figures of cats walking in her direction. Immediately Lily sprinted to the counter that cemented itself in the middle of the kitchen and hid inside.

Lily could see out from inside the counter cabinet, seeing the tiny gap in between the cabinet doors light up with a bright white, seeing the kitchen lights were on. She heard paw steps walking close to her, more so she heard voices. "Do you have any of the good milk drinks?" A cat asked, Lily turned her head. She could have sworn she recognized it, it wasnt Maxwell for sure, Maxwell always sounded serious and stern, this voice sounded more emotional and confident above all.

"I do, but I prefer to keep it to myself. It helps my throat when I've been talking through a 3 hour court session" Lily could definitely recognize that voice to be the Judge cat himself, Maxwell. However her curiosity got the better of her in the end as she pushed her paw against the cabinet to open it slight just enough to see the cats. There was Maxwell of course, the other was a brown cat, male and oddly wearing dark aviators.

She recognized this cat, It was Tyran, the confident cat last seen from the Mayor's Penthouse suite. Tyran dug through the fridge door looking for anything to satisfy his thirst. "I would appreciate it Tyan, if you didnt scavenge my fridge and mix up all of my perishables" Maxwell requested, as stern as ever.

"Perishables?" Tyran looked back, confused at the word that the tan and white patched cat had used.

"Goods with expiration date, maybe if you would look in a book instead of in a mirror you would recognize that words Im using" Maxwell berated, Tyran shrugged, letting the insult to his personal image slide off like water.

"Calm down Gramps, I need to keep my voice up too. I have to get to the studio in a few hours, The directors want to record me in a cinematic sunrise shot for a film cover" Tyran eyed himself in a nearby window, letting Maxwell roll his eyes at the feline's over hyped image of himself.

"Oh yes, It must be hard standing in some field posing for a few cameras, my apologizes" Maxwell retorted in an obvious sarcastic manner. Tyran looked back, offended and shocked. "Hey, I do more than pose and act. I can sing my heart out, Play guitar, I can do it all" Tyran said with a stretched pose. Maxwell just sighed as he himself reach inside the fridge, grabbing a single drink for himself. "Everything except shut up" He muttered under his breath.

"Listen Tyran, you're in my house, which means you want something from me. So what is it you want" Lily listened in, he knew these two didnt just pick a night to hang out like friends, if Tyran was indeed here he must need something from the Head Judge.

"Reno told me to come to you and pick up a few search warrants" Tyran explained.

"Did he say a 'few' or 'a lot'?" Maxwell almost certainly knew it was either of the two, knowing there was a big difference between a few and a lot.

"He said alot" Tyran replied.

"Thats what I thought, It was an idiotic move to say in front of the news that he was going to get search warrants" Maxwell said, walking out of the kitchen with Tyran close behind him. Lily watched as the two left, knowing this would be her time to find the document that would sign over Paw Patrol's Lookout to Griffin.

Lily snuck out from under the counter and walked over to the door frame of the kitchen, peaking out to see a living room. There was no television, but the fireplace was obviously burning nicely and warm. The Books however, Lily would see where everywhere. There was a lot of books stacked on top of each other, neat and tidy of course tucked in a bookshelf, however the absolute volume of books in this one room made Lily almost think Maxwell might be living inside a Library.

"Talk about a book worm" Lily muttered a she eyed the rest of the room, There was no sign of Maxwell and Tyran. They must have walked into another room she thought under hearing sounds from above her. They must have went upstairs, leaving Lily to look around herself.

Lily walked around the living room, spotting an open book and a warm cup of tea with steam emanating from it still, giving the clue that it was freshly made and the book was in the process of being read. Pointing to the fact Maxwell must have been sitting there recently, right next to all of it, was a stack of papers with a single pen next to it. "Bingo" She muttered, one by one she eyed each paper, there was documents in need of signing.

As she kept searching the pile, there was a thud from somewhere near her. "Can you be any more clumsy?" Maxwell asked, irritated in his voice.
"Not my fault I couldnt see the stairs all that well in this stairwell" Tyran defended himself, Lily getting the idea they were coming back to the first floor and quite possibly back in the living room. "Well you can take off those stupid sunglasses. Why are you even wearing those in a house when its night outside?" The tan and white furred cat questioned.

"Mind your business, They make me look cool"

"They'll make you fall and bust your head, thats what" Finally their voices became a lot clearer as they stepped into the living room. Tyran held a bag in his mouth, they must be all the search warrants Reno had request from Maxwell. The brown cat held his head high as he walked over to the front door with Maxwell right behind him.
"Be sure to tell Reno that I refuse to sign any more warrants unless he gives me probable cause for a place to search, If I keep signing these warrants without evidence, I'm just going to be attracting unwanted attention from the Federal Government, Understood?" Maxwell said in conclusion as Tyran was half way out the door. Tyran looked back at him confused, trying to remember the statement to relay back to Reno.

"Nevermind, I'll just call him tonight after I'm done signing documents" Maxwell didnt wish any goodbyes as he immediately shut the door right after, almost glad to be rid of the brown furred cat. "Finally, peace and quiet" He muttered to himself as he took a seat back near to where he was signing his documents, reading his book, and sipping his tea. As he sat down, he tilted his head to the side, a bit perplexed at what he was staring at. "Hmph, I dont remember separating these in a different pile" He muttered to himself, staring at the two separate piles of documents. Behind Maxwell, lily hid behind the couch, peaking her head over to see Maxwell continuing to read his book and sip his brew.

As well seeing the papers, still sitting in the pile right next to him. Lily thought hard about doing something to get him away, causing a distraction maybe, would it even work as she was so close to Maxwell from behind. The only thing separating both of them being the back part of the sofa. She sank back down below, pressing both he paws on both sides of her head, trying to concentrate, trying to conceive a plan on what to do next. One of the major downsides of working alone, without warning. Lily heart sank as she felt a paw gripping the fur on the back of her neck. Lily chocked for a small second with pain as she felt the talon's of Maxwell's paw sink into the back of her neck. She was hoisted up and flung over to small table into a bookshelf.

"Burglars!" Maxwell said with a hiss, Lily did indeed break in, but she wasnt a burglar. As if she was going to correct the cat and tell him what she was actually doing in his home. Lily got back to her feet, shaking her head from the daze and leaping to attack Maxwell, The tan and white fured feline judge wasnt really skilled in combat, however he knew his home better than his attacker. Knowing where to run and knowing where any weapons were hidden.

Maxwell was too slow however, letting himself be tackled and forced against the sofa. It didnt exactly hurt of course with the cushioning, however Lily did throw Maxwell down to the ground which didnt hurt as much either. Lily tried to spring back onto him to hold him down, but he got up too quickly and ran out the room.

Lily saw as he ran off without a say or to even look back at her, Lily knew she could search through the pile of documents now, taking what she needed and leaving. However Maxwell saw her now, which was a total violation of her cover whether he knew she was FBI or not. Lily gave chase after him, she turned down a hallway only a few doors, theres no way Lily could have lost him that easily, Lily trusted her gut and just ran down the hallway, either each door she passed seeing if he had made a turn. However she did spot a door that was slightly closed with a ray of orange light peering out from underneath the same gap of the door.

Lily braced herself as she barged through the door, slamming into it as it veered open. Inside was a small study with bookshelves and cushioned chairs, It looked quiet however she knew Maxwell was in here somewhere. Looking around the bookshelves stood tall in the middle of the room, making Lily walk around them. Each time jumping as if she knew he was standing right there waiting for her, but each time she turned a corner he wasnt there. Suddenly, Lily heard a hiss from nearby, definitely coming from the same room, even sounding closer than expected. Right above her.

When she looked up however it was all too late, Maxwell pounced down from the top of the bookshelves, landing ontop of Lily and forcing her to the ground. Lily postured herself to throw the cat off of her to free herself, however she laid on her stomach and relaxed her muscles, making it seem like she was giving up. Lily once again tried to get up, however Maxwell sank his claws into her back in effort to gain compliance and make her stop. He latched onto her back, giving Lily a quick move to act. She clenched her paws and rolled along the floor, Maxwell and Lily both spinning across the floor like an alligator's death roll tactic. Both bodies bumping into a bookshelf however, the thud of the wooded bookshelf rocked it hard enough to let it rock and eventually topple over. Both Maxwell and lily looked up as they saw the books flying from their ports onto them and eventually the bookshelf into collapsing onto them. The room was silent for a few seconds as out of the large pile of books something started to move, Lily's head burst out, crawling out from under the bookshelf on her stomach. Her body ached all around with bruises from the fall of books with hardened covers.

Lily slowly made her way across the floor before she had felt something cold and metal press against her back. "Dont move" Maxwell had ordered her, it didnt take long for Lily to figure out the metal object against her back was indeed the barrel of a gun. Somehow Maxwell must have retrieved one in the scuffle, Lily's heart raced as she tried to think of some way to distract the feline, but it was no use. He was too close and the slightest movement could end Lily's life.

"You were smart enough to find a way around my security and the deputies outside, so you dont strike me as the everyday robber that doesnt think things through. Im willing to bet you're not working alone too" Maxwell pressed on about Lily's intentions, still thinking she was just some burglar looking to rob a poor innocent judge of his wealth.
"I am alone, and you're making a big mistake by doing this" Lily passively threatened knowing where he knew it or not, Pointing a gun at a federal agent looked bad to any jury in a court of law. "Shes not alone!" A voice shouted out, Lily and Maxwell were both caught off by surprise, Lily was almost fearful that Maxwell would accidentally pull the trigger of the gun just in pure shock from the sudden voice. They both turned their head to see a dog, A Labrador standing in an opened window, a dog that Lily knew too well. "Zuma, What are you doing here!"

"Saving you!" He shouted, as he leaped from the window in an amazing bound over to Maxwell. The white and tan feline couldnt react fast enough to the large dog as he bowled him over to his back. The gun sliding over across the room which was later picked up by another dog, Skye. Lily however, grateful for the save, was still equally pissed at how the two came along despite being told not to. "I had this covered" Lily stated.

"Clearly, You were just about to have a new hole in your back if Zuma and I didnt stop him" Skye stated as Zuma was done having a hold on Maxwell. Zuma held Maxwell by the scruff of his fur on the back of his neck, being held up like a small kitten. Maxwell tried to swing his unsheathed claws side to side to strike Zuma by his muzzle, but each time Zuma would move in the same direction, making it more difficult for him to land a slash.

Lily was stubborn to admit it as she stared at the feline judge who had the fatal advantage over Lily just a few seconds ago, now being help up by Zuma's teeth, defenseless and given up. "We're definitely going to talk about this more later" Lily said to both of them.

"As for you..." She turned her gaze to Maxwell. "You're coming with us, I've got a few people that would love to get some information out of you" She said. Maxwell's heart skipped a beat as his mind could only imagine would that would be like. "Oh my gosh, This cant be real, I must be dreaming. You're not robbers, you're kidnappers. Y-You all wont see the light of day when you get caught, you hear me, Im a judge, I'll make sure all of you get locked up for the rest of your lives"

"Nuh uh, Have fun explaining to the court why you just assaulted an undercover FBI agent" Zuma said with a smug grin, still holding the cat in his teeth by his fur. In front of him, Lily almost had a heart attack by his words. "ZUMA!" She shouted.

The Labrador now knowing what he had just said on accident. Lily face palmed so hard that she thought her paw was slam right through her head. Maxwell on the other hand didnt look too smug to know such a big secret against her, he was surprised for sure, but also another emotion. An emotion that made it seem like he was a bit excited.

"Y-You're an FBI Agent?" Maxwell asked, his eyes toward Lily. Lily just gave a disgruntled nod as she sighed, getting embarrassing to keep revealing her secret to each cat that caught on. "Yes, I was sent by the Bureau to investigate you, mainly the Mayor and his cronies abusing the dogs" She explained, not in full detail, but enough detail for Maxwell to know what he was facing.

"Well in that case, I want to cut a deal then" Maxwell suddenly said.

"What kind of deal?" Skye asked, she had no say in this conversation, but it was still an interesting thing to be apart of and hear him out. "I want full immunity, witness protection, minimal sentencing, Everything. In return, Im willing to cooperate with anything the Department of Justice wants from me. I have logged reports and records of Reno and Griffin, every legal action they wanted me to do, You can use as evidence against them" He stated, quite stoic and calm after he had began to understand the totality of his situation much better.

"Hes lying, He's just saying whatever he can to let him go" Zuma muttered from inbetween his teeth, still holding up Maxwell as the Labrador bit down slightly as if he knew the feline was lying. "Im not, Look under that bookshelf" Maxwell exclaimed, pointing with his paw at a bookshelf that seemed just like all the rest. Skye and Lily looked at each other before Lily broke off to do as Maxwell requested, Lily couldnt look under the bookshelf as it was flat on the ground, however the base of it looked a bit odd compared to the other bookshelves it stood beside. There was a small square outline on the bottom piece, Lily pushed her paw against it for it to push back and make a 'click' sound. The small box retracted outward to reveal it to be a secret compartment. Inside was a large book, Lily grabbed it and looked inside.

Inside, Page after Page seemed like the numbers and names and locations in a single line, but alone neatly written. "Like I said, every log and record of what Griffin and Reno asked of me, its all there. That including my testimony in court, You'll be able to put them away for a long time" Maxwell said, his demeanor changing, as if he was on their side the whole time. "Why are you so eager to give this to me and help me?" Lily asked, astonished.

"Im no criminal by what you would classify me as, Im a cat of the law. Im not stupid, Doing this sort of thing with the dogs would get us noticed by Federal Authorities such as yourself for sure. So I made a hard copy of all the logs and records so in exchange for my cooperation and evidence, I want the lightest sentence possible"
"I dont think so buddy, You've done too much to let that slide, You're going away just as long as they are" Skye mocked to the cat's face, Maxwell seemed to believe her for a second before Lily intervened.

"Skye, Im sorry, but hes right" Lily spoke softly, knowing this wasnt exactly the thing she wanted to hear.
"W-What, No, He can't be. Think of all the innocent dogs hes sentenced and found guilty for nothing, basically sending them to their deaths into that prison for nothing, whether he was following orders from Griffin or not" The cockapoo protested.

"Im sorry Skye, I really am. But Im not a vigilante freedom fighter for the dogs. I'm an Agent of the Law, and the DOJ would definitely make a deal with him for a testimony and evidence in exchange for a slap on the wrist. Im sorry, It may be wrong, but its the Law"

Skye huffed a breath of frustration as Zuma walked over to her side, trying to calm her down. The Labrador was equally frustrated, however. Maxwell could feel it, as he could cringe slightly as the teeth from Zuma would clamp down a bit harder on his neck scruff.

"Fine, We should probably leave then" Skye stated, as they all recognized now was a great time to make their exit before anything unfortunate happened. "You know I can walk, right?" Maxwell said irritated that he was being held up still. "Im not letting you out of my sight until I look through this book to see if its the real deal" Lily exclaimed.
"Fine, I dont need to explain much to you anyways, Thats what the federal courts are for" Maxwell held his head high as Zuma carried him off back through the window, both him and Skye came through to help Lily in her struggle. All crept through the brush of outside, sneaking their way past multiple deputies that were crawling all over the property. Quite the productive night for Lily, grabbing not only the document but also capturing Maxwell himself, although him coming along willingly wouldnt exactly fit the definition of capturing, it still worked in her eyes.

The three dogs laid in their given beds, it was quiet and still. It was late but none got any shut eye, Chase, Rubble, and Rocky lay awake as they looked at each other, deeply troubled remembering the predicament that Dixon and Dixie were in. Of course both cats had insisted on not letting them worry about it and they would solve their own problem, but the friendly three canines just couldnt let that stand. Sitting on their comforters, brewing ideas, some more rational than others. "I say we jump her, to teach her a lesson. She knows we're here, so might as well show ourselves" Chase suggested, determined and sane as if he knew what he was talking about.
"Theres no way Dixie and Dixon would allow you to do that, and if we do that, who knows what she'll do with Dixie and Dixon afterwards, she'll make their life a living hell just because of us" Rubble said, Chase huffed a breath of hot air, knowing the British bulldog was right. The german shepherd was more so thinking with his heart rather than his brain.

"Not to mention shes the biggest buyer from most of the farmers in the area, So even stopping business with Dixon and Dixie would ruin them enough. Seems like a 'Rock in a Hard place' kind of situation to be honest" Rocky pointed out. "We barely know anything about her, and theres not much we can do since we're wanted by the Sheriff's Department now. They'll be rounding up every dog they can that escaped from the Prison" Chase stated, their situation just kept stacking worse and worse against them, they wanted to offer whatever they could to help Dixon and Dixie but there wasnt much to work with.

Suddenly, their thinking was cut short as Dixon ran full as fast as he could from across the hallway, being visible for a short second as he past the door frame of where they were. "Dixie hurry before it slips out!" He shouted, his voice was a clear indication that whatever this was, it was indeed urgent. "Im coming!" Dixie shouted back as she ran after him, passing by the door frame just as Dixon did, however as she was running she stopped every now and then as she carried a thick rope with her. "Whats going on?" Rocky asked.

"One of our traps we have near our garbage went off, I think it might be a raccoon, Dixon says its a possum" She explained in the short amount of time she had before she ran back after her brother, Rocky and the others looked at each other. Knowing if it wasnt a Raccoon or Possum, and in fact something bigger, The two feline siblings might need some help. All three sprang up and ran after the two cats, down the stairs and to the back door where they saw Dixon peaking out a window of the back of the farm house to look at what was caught, with Dixie already with the rope in hand to catch the animal. "Well what is it?" Dixie whispered to her brother for confirmation on what the animal might be, being careful not to raise her voice and scare the animal outside that was caught.

Dixon squinted his eyes as he shifted his head from side to side, trying to get an idea himself. "I-I dont know, its dark. I see the figure though, Its too big to be a raccoon or a possum" He stated. The figure was big and skinny, It made growling and yapping sounds as it spun around, yanking and tugging on the trap to escape."Coyote?" Rubble asked, it was a sensible suggestion on what it could be. Dixon and Dixie did say they had Coyote problems around their property. In that case, It was good the two cats had dogs on their side to help. "I got an idea, Dixon you opened the door and when you do, Rocky, Rubble, and I will pounce down on this coyote, we can overpower it long enough for you to get it tied down" The German shepherd suggested, Dixie and Dixon thought the plan sounded decent enough as it was. Dixon nodded as he positioned himself away from the window and in front of the backdoor, ready to fling it open when ready, Dixie also stood ready with the rope tightly grasped in her paws.

"All three of you, Be careful" Dixie pleaded as she looked into their eyes, hoping for their safety as all three dogs bulked up and braced for a leap out the door. "When you're ready" Chase whispered over to Dixon. The male feline nodded as he grabbed the nob of the door and flung the door open, without hesitation, Chase, Rubble, and Rocky raced out the door. Although it was dark, they could see the figure of the trapped coyote. The coyote looked startled from the surprise attack, it had no time to react as all three dogs slammed into its side, forcing it down to the ground and keep it there. As they were wrestling the wild dog like animal, they had noticed a small detail, their coyote has a surprisingly lack of fur. Its usual furry coat was smooth cut down type of hair. Suddenly, their area became illuminated with light as Dixon shined a light on the dogs with their paws down on the coyote's side.

However, with light now in play. There was a startling discovery. This was no coyote, this was a dog. It had a brown short coat of fur, a stubby muzzle, He was a male Rhodesian Ridgeback, All the details seemed all too familiar as Chase was the first one to call out the dog's name in shock. "Dash?!"
